Washington, DC (TLS). With two nationally televised debates under their belts, the Democratic Presidential candidates have begun to show patterns that help voters form opinions and impressions of their fitness for office.
Who's ahead so far?
As we did with the Republicans, The Liberty Sphere will provide an overview of the candidates' performance and their ratings on the eight key liberty issues, based upon the two debates so far.
In our opinion Joe Biden has made his way to the top of the heap when it comes to effectiveness as a communicator and ability to connect with voters. The candidate's many years in the Senate have certainly provided Biden with the experience to handle himself extremely well in public forums.
Dennis Kucinich comes in a close second in terms of overall debate performance. He is articulate and is able to clearly convey his views with a minimum amount of spin.
Edwards, Richardson, Dodd, Gravel, and Clinton make up the next tier of candidates in terms of effectiveness of communication.
Bringing up the rear is Barack Hussein Obama, who has shown viewers of the last two debates that he is clearly lacking in the experience and seasoned communication skills to be placed in the same league with the other candidates.
Obama's poor showing may well be every bit as big a story as Biden's strong performance.
Now on to the accumulative ratings of each of the candidates, based upon their scores in the last two debates on the eight key issues that impact human liberty.
On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the highest score, The Liberty Sphere rates the Democratic candidates cumulatively as follows on those eight key issues:

It is to be noted that in spite of Joe Biden's excellent showing in terms of communication skills, his views on gun rights deprived him of a higher score. Bill Richardson, on the other hand, picked up points for his support for Second Amendment rights, in spite of his disappointing answers in the 2nd debate.
The Liberty Sphere believes that the candidacy of Barack Hussein Obama is essential over for all intents and purposes. His falling poll numbers since the first debate will only continue after the 2nd. His poor debate performances have given the impression that the candidate is simply not Presidential material.
Of course, both Dennis Kucinich and Mike Gravel can essentially hang it up as well. We do not see either candidate gaining any momentum either in terms of poll numbers or financial support.
Thus, The Liberty Sphere believes that it is a whole new ball game for the Democrats. We now have a new set of front-runners. Hillary Clinton will continue to be THE front-runner for now, but both Joe Biden and Bill Richardson are coming on strong. We look for both candidates to greatly enhance their poll numbers.
John Edwards has slipped to 2nd-tier status. We saw nothing in last night's debate to change that fact. In spite of his overall cumulative score, we feel he is losing momentum while Biden and Richardson are surging. This is why we feel Biden and Richardson are now in the top three, while Edwards is on his way downward.
In terms of polling numbers and campaign cash, look for the following lineup of front-runners in order of their poll numbers and financial support:

Joe Biden
Chris Dodd leads the pack of the 2nd-tier candidates, but look for him to begin to surge should one of the new front-runners stumble.

Ratings of Democratic Candidates--2nd Debate
Manchester, NH (TLS). The Democratic Presidential candidates squared off in this, their second major televised debate.
As always, The Liberty Sphere will provide complete evaluations on all of the candidates, based upon their performance and how closely they adhere to our eight key issues that impact human liberty.
First, a word about CNN and Wolf Blitzer's job as moderator. Blitzer is due high marks for his willingness to level the hard questions at the candidates, giving them very little wiggle room for deflection. Right out of the starting gate he zeroed in on the War on Terror in light of yesterday's foiled attack at JFK.
There was only one 'stupid question' segment of the debate, a segment which we have come to expect from the mainstream media's coverage of Democrats. In contrast to MSNBC and Chris Matthews' penchant for emphasizing the absurd, Blitzer only asked one question that could be considered stupid, which was, 'What role will you give Bill Clinton if you are elected President?'
Overall, however, Blitzer and CNN are to be commended for producing a debate that focused largely on the pertinent issues. Fox News is still tops in the manner in which they handled the Republican debate, but CNN is running a close second so far.
GENERAL EVALUATION OF DEBATE PERFORMANCE OF CANDIDATES
In terms of communication skills, clarity, answering the question asked, and ability to connect with the audience, The Liberty Sphere believes that there are two candidates that came on very strong--Joseph Biden and Dennis Kucinich.
The two candidates who exhibited a marked improvement over their last debate performance are Chris Dodd and Mike Gravel.
Bill Richardson and John Edwards both can be placed in the 'good' category, both giving a solid performance.
Once again, Barack Obama came across as rather tentative. We noticed this tendency during the last debate. The candidate often seems to struggle to put together his answers. And, since this is certainly an observable trend rather than a one-time fluke, we feel that the candidate is simply not in the same league with the other candidates.
This leaves Hillary Clinton. Her performance was as expected--nothing to win people over but nothing to discourage her supporters either. Her problem, in our view, is her playing loose with the facts. We noted several instances where the candidate simply was not candid in her answers and instead opted for her usual spin of facts.
For example, she referred to the War in Iraq as 'George Bush's War.' This was big lie number one. She voted for it, no matter how she spins the issue. In addition, this is America's war. OUR sons and daughters are fighting in it. We are in it together.
Big lie number two was Hillary's claim that her husband tried to 'take out bin Laden.' Actually, the record shows he had several opportunities to do so, but opted out.
We will stop with the first two big lies of Hillary, simply because much of her rhetoric is not worth the time to evaluate.
RATINGS OF CANDIDATES ON THE ISSUES THAT IMPACT LIBERTY
The Liberty Sphere's eight key issues that impact liberty are as follows: national defense, taxes, healthcare, gun rights, abortion, the war on terror, U.S. foreign policy, and immigration control.

Joe Biden's strong showing this evening is perhaps THE big news of the debate.
Bill Richardson lost some points from his first debate performance due to his answers concerning immigration, taxes, and U.S. foreign policy.
In addition, Richardson's assertion that the Border Fence that is to be built between the U.S. and Mexico is like 'the Berlin Wall' is the most ridiculous statement of the evening. The Berlin Wall was built to keep oppressed people imprisoned by a totalitarian government. Our Border Fence is being built to keep a free people from being overrun by those who neither respect nor value America's way of life or her government.
That Richardson would even suggest such a highly ludicrous and asinine thing is simply unbelievable for a Presidential candidate.
Running a close second to Richardson's most ridiculous statement of the evening is John Edwards' repeated assertion that the War on Terror should not be fought and that it is 'just a bumper sticker slogan.' That he would suggest such a thing only one day after the FBI foiled one of the most massive terrorist plots in the history of the nation is simply baffling.
We must at this point question Edwards' judgment, and therefore, wonder if he is fit to be President.
Only one Democratic candidate believes that English should be the official language of the United States--Mike Gravel. He is also the least likely to gain any ground as a viable candidate.
Thus, there are NO Democratic candidates who believe that English should be the official language of America.
You will note that none of the Democratic candidates could muster above a rating of '5' on our Liberty Scale. This is very telling and very dangerous.
If the Democratic Party can offer no one but these, or perhaps Al Gore to boot, then it is obvious that American politics has reached a sorry state of affairs when it comes to human liberty.

Washington, DC (TLS). The Liberty Sphere has reason to believe that the U.S. is at a heightened risk for a major terrorist strike, perhaps more so than at any other time since 9/11.
As we reported to you in the aftermath of the foiled JFK Airport attack, the Saudis have warned that suspicious activity has been occurring at the nation's major airports since January of 2006, including strange persons who have been observed watching restricted areas at those airports.
In addition, the FBI is offering a 5 million dollar reward for information leading to the capture of Al Qaeda operative Adnan el-Shukrijumah, who is suspected to have smuggled nuclear material into the Unites States in order to conduct a massive, simultaneous terrorist attack on major U.S. cities using nuclear explosives.

Foiled JFK Terror Plot May Be Tip of Iceberg
New York, NY (TLS). The foiled terrorist plot to blow up JFK International Airport in New York is proving to have far-reaching ramifications. New information released this afternoon indicates the Islamic terrorists were also going to blow up jet fuel lines at LaGuardia Airport as well.
In addition, the pipeline that carries the jet fuel that feeds both JFK and LaGuardia originates in New Jersey and runs through residential sectors of Queens. In short, had these terrorists had access to the appropriate explosive devices, they not only could have blown to smithereens two major U.S. airports but several residential areas in a densely populated sector of New York.
But even this may be only the tip of the iceberg.
Back in January, The Liberty Sphere was the first to report that the Saudi government had information concerning suspicious activity at major U.S. airports involving strange persons who were watching restricted areas of the facilities, including Chicago's O'Hare.

According to sources investigating the foiled JFK terror plot, the perpetrators had been keeping the airports under surveillance since January of 2006. This particular plot and its details were uncovered by under-cover agents who infiltrated the gang of Muslim extremists who were planning the attack.
The FBI and other agencies of the nation's counterterrorism apparatus can be congratulated for this foiled plot. However, as our report showed in January, there may be more of these attacks planned for other airports around the nation.

In addition, there is the shocking story that is still evolving involving the most wanted man in America, Islamic terrorist Adnan el-Shukrijumah and his plot to smuggle nuclear devices into the country in order to carry out an Al Qaeda-mandated simultaneous nuclear attack on major U.S. cities.

Video Catches Student Attacking Teacher
Mobile, Alabama (TLS). A 61-year-old high school teacher in Mobile, Alabama sustained injuries to her face when she was attacked by a teenage student, who allegedly used brass knuckles in the attack.
The interesting component of the story, however, is that the whole thing was caught on video by another student, who taped the attack with his cell phone.
That video was used in court as evidence in the case.
But before the video was shown the alleged perpetrator's family arose to leave the courtroom in an emotional display of protest. An officer stopped them at the door and stated that they were not allowed to leave during the trial of their underage son.
Several family members were also charged and fined in contempt of court for cursing at the officer who blocked their departure from the courtroom.

11-Year-Old Black Boy Scarred For Life
Laurens, SC (TLS). An eleven-year-old African-American boy has been scarred for life in the fallout from a shocking teacher sex case that culminated today in Laurens, South Carolina.
Fifth-grade teacher Wendie Schweikert, a Caucasian, was sentenced to 15 years in prison plus 5 years' probation for engaging in criminal sexual activity with an 11-year-old Black student. The sexual activity took place right in Schweikert's own classroom.
Today during her sentencing a sobbing Schweikert apologized to the boy's family, her students, and the community for what she described as 'committing this horrible sin.' From the start Schweikert acknowledge that she had engaged in sexual activity with the boy and stated today in court that she 'was not herself' when she committed the acts.
The boy's parents spoke at the sentencing hearing today, and stated that their son had been scarred for life by what took place in Schweikert's classroom.
That is an understatement. Parents in this country are entitled to know that when they send their children to the nation's public schools they are not entrusting them into the care of sexual predators. Increasingly, parents have cause to worry. The Schweikert case is only one of many similar cases across the country.
The Judge who handed down Schweikert's sentence did not go easy on her, but neither did he give her the maximum under the law. She will be forced by law to serve 85% of her sentence in incarceration and then serve an extra five years' probation once released. She will also be registered as a sex offender.
We can take consolation in the fact that a sexual predator has been removed from the classroom, but our hearts go out to the victim and his parents who must live with the horror of what took place in that classroom for the rest of their lives.

Gaffney, SC (TLS). Good news was delivered today to USC-Aiken student Beth Hawkins and the other students who were on the same flight as 'TB Andy' Speaker from Atlanta to Paris.
Hawkins and her fellow travelers from the University of South Carolina's Aiken campus are TB-free...so far.
They will need to be tested again in eight weeks.
The South Carolina students were on a class trip to Europe when they discovered upon their return home that they had been on one of the same flights that Andrew Speaker of Atlanta took when he flew to Europe for his wedding and honeymoon. Speaker is now being treated for the rare and deadly form of TB in Denver, Colorado.

Fred Thompson Bid Picking Up Steam
Washington, DC (TLS). Since Senator Fred Thompson announced yesterday that he is forming a Presidential candidacy exploratory committee, it seems that many who as yet have been sitting on the fence are jumping on the Thompson bandwagon.
Some of these supporters have a strong independent bent and tend to have a deep level of distrust for both Democrats AND Republicans.
But, as The Liberty Sphere reported months ago, a Fred Thompson candidacy has much that is attractive to such independent voters. Thompson is a different kind of candidate who will run a different kind of campaign. He is not afraid of innovation, including using the Internet and V-logs to send instant campaign videos to millions of voters.
Many have compared Thompson to Ronald Reagan, but we feel that this is a bit unfair. Let's face it, there will never be another Ronald Reagan, just as there will never be another Lincoln. But Thompson has that broad, widespread appeal that Reagan exhibited.
And it is a big mistake to write him off as just another actor. Before he was an actor and before he became a U.S. Senator, Thompson was a highly skilled and respected attorney, having served the nation during the Watergate hearings.

Washington, DC (TLS). The FBI is reporting a spike in the level of what is known as 'terrorist chatter' over the past two years within the United States. Surveillance sources indicate that since 2005 the chatter has been unusually high and has sparked a sharp increase in search warrants issued within our borders.

South Carolina Students Involved in Atlanta TB Scare
Gaffney, SC (TLS). Beth Hawkins of Gaffney, South Carolina was on the flight from Atlanta to Paris that carried the Atlanta man who is now under a federal isolation order for carrying a deadly strain of TB. Hawkins and a group of students from the University of South Carolina, Aiken Campus, were flying to Europe for a week and a half.
Hawkins found out about the TB scare after returning home to Gaffney from Europe, when a family member saw on television the flight number that CDC officials had identified as one of the flights the Atlanta man had taken.
Although officials from the World Health Organization have not contacted Hawkins as one of those within the rows of seats most vulnerable on the flight, Hawkins was taking no chances. She went to the Cherokee County Health Department first thing Wednesday morning to have the first of a series of TB skin tests.
Hawkins also contacted her classmates who were on the flight with her to Europe, and each of these students will also be tested.
As of yet there is no reason to believe that any of the students are in any danger. Yet they state they prefer to err on the side of caution.
The Atlanta man who started it all is now in isolation at Grady Memorial Medical Center in Atlanta, awaiting to be transported to Denver for the remainder of his treatment. So far the man has had no symptoms whatsoever, and his level of infection appears at this point to be non-active, which is good news for those with whom he came into contact.

No Law Can Be Enforced 100%
Washington, DC (TLS). Statistically it is impossible to enforce every law 100% of the time. This is no argument against those laws, however.
How would you like it, for example, for all child abuse laws to be repealed simply because many child molesters get away with their crimes?
Such a point of view is entirely laughable. Yet this is precisely the argument being used in favor of the new immigration bill (which is just an updated version of the old immigration bills that grant amnesty).
The common argument is that we cannot deport 12 million illegal aliens. True. We cannot. It does NOT follow, however, that therefore we must change the law to accommodate law-breakers. If this argument is valid, then it is entirely reasonable to repeal child abuse laws because we cannot enforce them 100%.

Losing Our Resolve
Washington, DC (TLS). The West is in mortal danger of losing its resolve to fight global terrorism, much to our peril. Western Europe finds itself in the throws of a nonchalance towards Islamic extremists and therefore finds itself in danger of being totally dominated by barbarians within a decade or less.
Meanwhile, in the U.S., the Presidential candidates provide a sobering microcosm of the nonchalance of the electorate. Democratic Presidential candidate John Edwards says there is no global war on terror. Hillary Clinton and Barack Hussein Obama both voted against funding our troops.
Americans, by and large, have turned against the War in Iraq, not because they did not think the cause was noble but that it did not go as expected. We have come to think that military campaigns should be swift, short, and clean.
Perhaps this is due to the fairy-tale world that the television generation has created.
Nonetheless, we stand on the brink of not only losing our resolve to fight what is a most dangerous fight to the death against extremist barbarians emboldened by their religion, but we are in grave danger of losing our very civilization, our values, our way of life to those who will throw the world into another era like the Dark Ages.
These people aren't playing. They WILL take advantage of our weakness, and they WILL dominate the West if we continue on the present course.
Our favorite intellectual, Dr. Walter Williams, warns that America's fate could well be that of the great Roman Empire, which fell to barbarians who then ushered in the Dark Ages. If the West falls to the present barbarians, you can be assured that a thousand years of darkness will follow in a world ruled by ruthless terrorist warlords who believe women should be kept enslaved, children should be used as suicide bombers, and all must convert to Islam or be killed.

The Mounting Shame of John Edwards
Washington, DC (TLS). Democratic Presidential candidate John Edwards stated that Monday, Memorial Day, should be a day of protest against the Iraq War and the War on Terror.
Thus, in one simple sentence, Edwards has succeeded in desecrating what to multi-millions of Americans is a sacred day to remember the ultimate sacrifice of those who gave their time, effort, energy, resources, and lives, for their country--many in foreign wars.
Rather than taking the opportunity to honor and remember our military men and women, Edwards and his ilk instead chose to use this as an opportunity to bash our troops overseas and their families. Edwards politicized a national holiday for his own expediency.
This is what we have come to expect from Leftwing nutcases. Hillary Clinton stated week before last that on July 4--Independence Day--Americans should declare the day to be our 'independence from foreign oil and the burning of fossil fuels.'
You can rest assured that as July 4 draws near, this writer will have plenty more to say about THAT utterly stupid and ultimately desecrating remark on the part of one who has absolutely no reverence for traditional American values.
But for now the focus is on Edwards, who continues to show Americans, particularly those in his own home territory of the South, that he is so out of step with the majority that only a Jane Fonda radical would vote for him.
As the campaign moves forward it has become abundantly clear that the Democrats have no candidate to put forth who is not marching in lockstep with Cindy Sheehan nutcases. These are the ones who control the Democratic Party.
They may as well go ahead and choose either Michael Moore, Harry Belafonte, or Danny Glover as their candidate. At least it will be an honest presentation of where, exactly, they stand on the issues rather than attempting to hide their true ideology by using rhetorical mumbo-jumbo that clouds the facts.
Edwards, for example, believes there should be no worldwide war on terror. He also condemned the Supreme Court's ruling to outlaw the barbaric procedure known as 'partial birth abortions.' And now he takes a sacred American holiday designed to memorialize our servicemen and women, and turns it into a day to stage war protests.
These are hardly the values of Seneca, South Carolina, Edwards' hometown.

Thousands Protest Hugo Chavez in Venezuela
Washington, DC (TLS). In a display of spontaneous open defiance of Communist dictator Hugo Chavez, thousands of Venezuelans took to the streets Monday to protest the shutting down of a television station that had been critical of the Chavez government.
Is this the beginning of the Venezuelans' Tienanmen Square? And will the totalitarian government prevail as it did in China, or this time, will the freedom-fighters succeed in putting a restraint on Chavez's power at the very least, or in a best-case scenario, depose him?
Interestingly enough, the mainstream media did not report the Venezuelan uprising this evening. Of the major television news networks, only Fox provided extensive coverage.
In addition, the Hollywood set that supports the Communist dictator, such as Harry Belafonte and Danny Glover, were strangely silent about the average citizens taking to the streets to protest the squelching of human freedom by the Venezuelan madman.
In video feeds provided by Fox News, government forces could be seen firing tear-gas into the massive crowds. In addition, troops used rubber bullets and shot-guns to fire upon citizens. Yet the protesters refused to budge.
One citizen in particular was seen standing down an armored government vehicle as it attempted to gain closer access to the protesters. The citizen simply took his life into his own hands and stood in the middle of the street, refusing to allow the vehicle to pass.
These brave freedom-fighters need the help of the U.S. We need to help them take Chavez down. And then, rather than arresting Belafonte and Glover for treason, we should simply deport them both to a FREE Venezuela, after Chavez is gone, and let the CITIZENS in that country decide what should be done to them.
The entire world should be made to realize that Belafonte and Glover are supporting a tyrant who not only shut down a television outlet because it dared criticize the madman, but Chavez's actions also put hundreds of television actors out of work.

More Shame in Durham--Circling the Wagons
Durham, NC (TLS). And the shame of Durham continues as the co-conspirators in the Nifong-Mangum Hoax circle the wagons, denying any culpability, not even as much as acknowledging mistakes in the entire fiasco.
The Durham Police Department had ample opportunity to cleanse itself in its own internal investigation into the affair, only to return with a statement of denials and the insistence that it had done absolutely nothing wrong.
Can't you just see the halos?
The Department's failure to confess and repent, and thus salvage what little integrity may remain within its dens of corruption, has led to calls for totally independent examinations and a much more candid assessment of what went wrong. The Liberty Sphere believes that such an independent investigation is long overdue.
Our concern, however, runs much deeper than just with the Durham Police Department, for we are convinced that Durham is but a microcosm of a much broader culture of corruption that exists in North Carolina state government. The Durham Police Department had ample opportunity to cleanse itself in its own internal investigation into the affair, only to return with a statement of denials and the insistence that it had done absolutely nothing wrong.

The Department's failure to confess and repent, and thus salvage what little integrity may remain within its dens of corruption, has led to calls for totally independent examinations and a much more candid assessment of what went wrong. The Liberty Sphere believes that such an independent investigation is long overdue.
Our concern, however, runs much deeper than just with the Durham Police Department, for we are convinced that Durham is but a microcosm of a much broader culture of corruption that exists in North Carolina state government. 2 Plus 2 Equals 5--Says 'Reform Math'
Washington, DC (TLS). Throw out all you know about exact science, precise mathematical calculations, and right and wrong answers. In 'Reform' math, all you need is an 'approximation' rather than a precisely correct answer.
Thus, 2 plus 2 DOES, in fact, equal 5, approximately speaking.
This balderdash is what your kids and grand-kids are being taught in public schools across the nation. And some parents are up in arms.
Some are even taking matters into their own hands after being mortified by the shocking lack of knowledge their children exhibit concerning basic mathematical equations. More than a few parents are charging that the Reform Math is causing their children to miss the boat on tests and college entrance exams.
No wonder the United States continues to lag behind other industrialized nations in math and science skills.
Apparently the government-run public school system continues to fail our nation's youth by dumbing down the requirements and skills needed to function in the real world. When I go to the local restaurant, I don't want the cashier giving me 'approximately' the correct change. Nor do I wish for the government's confiscation program otherwise known as the IRS to shortchange my refund as long as they can claim it was 'approximately close' to what they owe me.
Unless this nation begins to mandate certain basic skills that ALL school children must learn in order to graduate, then I am afraid that with super-powers like China looming on the scene, whose citizens run circles around Americans in math and science, the U.S. is headed for the ash-heap of irrelevance on the world stage.

Keep a Suspicious Eye on China
Washington, DC (TLS). The news out of Washington today is that the Bush Administration is increasingly concerned about China's long-range missile capability. And well they should be.
For years China has been quietly but steadily building its military, munitions and weapons arsenals, including the capability of launching nuclear missiles that can hit the U.S. mainland.
While the Chinese have been busy building up their capability of waging nuclear war against America, we Americans have largely ignored such ominous clouds on the horizon in lieu of establishing corporate and business liaisons with the Communist giant, not only to pad our pockets but to supposedly weaken the totalitarian resolve of the Chinese by expanding capitalistic ventures within their borders.
The problem is that under the present unfair trade practices in the name of 'free trade,' the Chinese have made billions at the expense of Americans--billions that have then been used to continue expanding their military and nuclear capability.
In short, the Chinese have been using our willingness to engage in capitalistic ventures with them against us.
The result is that China is on the brink of becoming a true, bona fide super-power in every sense of the word, not just militarily but economically.
Thus far, the only thing keeping China from dominating the world stage as a super-power has been its lack of economic progress under the stifling effects of Communism. That has changed drastically. And they have done it by being willing to adopt a limited capitalistic economic model while steadfastly maintaining their Communist totalitarian philosophy.
Thus, Google can do business and flourish as a capitalistic venture in China, but they must keep the Chinese population in the dark about certain strains of political thought that could incite the citizenry to an uprising similar to the Tienanmen Square display.
The ominous result of this course of events is that the capitalism that China allows to flourish within its borders is then used to bolster and strengthen its basic governmental philosophy that the general population cannot be trusted and that the liberties of the people must continue to be restricted.
Not only that, but the bounty produced by the capitalistic model is used to continue to build itself into the largest and most dangerous totalitarian army in the world.
Although China has seen the light that only capitalism can produce wealth and prosperity, it has failed to embrace the underlying principles of liberty from which capitalism draws most of its vitality.
The result, unfortunately, is a significantly strengthened--and dangerous--super-power.
In dealing with China we cannot for one moment forget that they are still Communists. And with their growing military power, we must always keep the suspicious eye on them, regardless of our business connections with them.

First it was Germany who saw the error of her ways and elected a U.S.-friendly leader. 'Angie' as she is called, is very popular in her country as well. Apparently the rank and file of the German electorate did not view America and George W. Bush with disdain.
Now it is France's turn. The new French President is decidedly pro-American, and the French have even joined the U.S. in filing a complaint against the International Atomic Energy Agency.
Such a thing would have been unheard of under the ethically-challenged Jacques Chirac.

Washington, DC (TLS). Women in the United States and the U.K. are increasingly seeking cosmetic surgery for something that is being called 'the designer vagina.'
I kid you not.
According to medical sources in the U.K. women are increasingly seeking cosmetic surgery to enhance the look and feel of their genitalia. Some are even bringing pictures from magazines to show their surgeons exactly what they want to look like.
Apparently, two of the main reasons women give for seeking the surgery are to shorten the length of the vagina and to 'flatten the vulva bulge.'
O.K...
Personally, we think that the risks from surgery far outweigh any perceived flaw. Besides, the doctors quoted in the article below found that these procedures often leave women with diminished sexual sensitivity.

GOA Issues Alert on Immigration Bill
Washington, DC (TLS). Gun Owners of America has issued a special alert concerning the new immigration bill backed by the White House, Ted Kennedy, and John McCain. This bill contains provisions that could shut down every gun shop in America.
In crafting this ill-conceived bill, gun-grabbers Ted Kennedy and John McCain could not resist including provisions that would target gun stores. If a gun shop with as few as 5 employees commits at least two violations of federal gun laws, including paperwork violations, that store could be designated as a 'criminal gang' and shut down.
In addition, if an anti-gun zealot in the government determines that the 'main purpose' of that gun shop is to commit gun violations, then it can be shut down.
My friends, ambiguous wording such as this, aimed at gun stores, is simply one more way the anti-gun bigots in Washington have determined to rob the citizens of their Constitutional rights.

Goose Creek, SC (TLS). WSB-TV in Atlanta, Georgia has posted a slide-show of S.C. teacher Kanesa Hopkins, 31, as she appears in court to face charges of engaging in criminal sexual conduct with a female student.
Hopkins was recently named 'Teacher of the Year' by her school, the Westview Middle School in Goose Creek. A sworn affidavit also indicates that Hopkins was the Sunday School teacher of the alleged victim.

Update on Allenna Williams Ward Sex Scandal Case
Allenna Williams Ward, shown above, is the Middle School English teacher accused of criminal sexual misconduct with five teenage boys in Clinton, South Carolina.
Ward has plead not guilty to the charges.
The state's attorney in the case, Laurens County Circuit Solicitor Jerry Peace has stated that he is attempting to work out a deal with Ward's attorney, presumably a plea bargain. Peace further stated that if a deal could not be reached with Ward and her attorney, that 'we may then try this case in a year and a half or so.'
To the casual observer this may mean nothing. But to astute observers of the court system there is plenty that can be gleaned from the words of the prosecutor.
The obvious factor that strikes us about this case is that if the allegations and charges against Ward are true, then she would be nothing less than a hardened, seasoned sexual predator, worthy of the most stringent sentence that could be leveled against her under the law.
Yet Mr. Peace is not proceeding with this case as one who actually believes he is dealing with a hardened sexual predator.
This means there are two possibilities--either Ward is entirely innocent and has been falsely accused, in which case Peace is giving things time to settle in the hope the truth comes out, or, he believes Ward is guilty but cannot amass sufficient evidence to prove her guilt in court.
At this time I tend to believe Ward is entirely innocent and has been falsely accused.
The complete silence surrounding this case is yet another odd circumstance, given the severity of the charges and allegations. Ward and her attorney have been totally silent throughout this case, which is understandable. At first the pot-bangers in Clinton took to the streets to decry the 'child molester' and such. But now even they are totally tight-lipped. So are the boys who made the accusations.

Reagan 'Inner Circle' Supports Fred Thompson
Washington, DC (TLS). During Ronald Reagan's climb up the political ladder, and his subsequent attaining of the Presidential office, he was able to assemble around him a group of highly loyal and astute aides and political operatives. Among these are Michael Dever, Edwin Meece, and former Tennessee Senator Howard Baker.
The Liberty Sphere has learned that the Reagan 'inner circle,' as they are called, are backing former Tennessee Senator Fred Thompson's bid to become the Republican nominee for President.
In addition, sources tell us that Nancy Reagan herself is supporting Fred Thompson.
This news is significant in that all of the Republican Presidential nominees have, in one way or another, attempted to link themselves to Ronald Reagan. Yet not everyone who makes that claim truly fits the bill.
Reagan embraced religious conservatives. He also embraced non-religious conservatives. He reached out to socially conservative 'blue collar' Democrats. In short, he was able to piece together a massive coalition of various groups who shared one common ideal--the belief that America's greatness lies in HER PEOPLE and not in big government.
Big government conservatism would be an oxymoron to Reagan.
Fred Thompson embodies all of the Reagan ideals--small government, lower taxes, a strong defense, pro-life, a belief in the autonomy of the individual, and an undying optimism and belief that America's greatness can only be preserved by a constant diligence against the forces of oppression and anti-freedom.
Having been a part of 'the Reagan Revolution' as far back as the early 1970s, when I began working for Young Americans for Freedom, naturally I have a great amount of respect and affinity for the Reagan inner circle. SOUTH CAROLINA'S RAGE TOWARD LINDSEY GRAHAM
Columbia, SC (TLS). Senator Lindsey Graham, R-SC, finds himself in deep political trouble in his home state of South Carolina. Graham raised the ire of the Republican base when he helped broker the present 'immigration compromise bill' that is supported by Ted Kennedy, John McCain, and President Bush.
The fact that Graham supports John McCain in his Republican Presidential nomination bid is increasingly viewed as an albatross hanging around the Senator's neck.
With McCain losing support among the Party faithful, and with the Kennedy-McCain-Bush immigration bill viewed by most as an amnesty program for illegal workers, Republicans in South Carolina have begun to turn their rage toward Graham.
A grassroots coalition has sprung up within the state that is seeking to rescind Graham's election to the Senate. In short, they want to immediately remove him from office.
By overwhelming majorities South Carolinians want secured borders, immigration limitation and control, and a commitment on the part of elected officials to uphold and enforce the immigration laws that are already on the books.
Graham is increasingly viewed as someone who does not share the views of the majority of the people in his state.
The Liberty Sphere believes that the Senator is in deep trouble politically. If he survives the move to have him removed from office, he has an election to face next year. With opposition mounting, it is looking doubtful that Graham could win another term.
South Carolina's other Senator, Jim DeMint, another Republican, has been solidifying his popularity in the state by his steadfast opposition to the immigration bill. When South Carolina voters compare the two, given DeMint's more compatible views with the majority of the state's electorate, Graham comes out looking like a square peg trying to fit into a round hole.
It will be interesting to see just how strongly the ill winds toward Graham are blowing in South Carolina.

UPDATE! Top 10 Reasons The Vegan Diet (Will) MIGHT Kill You
UPDATE! In the interest of fairness I must say that those of you who wrote in to make your case concerning the safety of the vegan diet, when undertaken with due diligence to insure all the proper nutrients, have made a good point. The Vegan Diet will not necessarily kill you. It MIGHT kill you if you don't know what you are doing and fail to eat the variety of food necessary for good health.
But then again, any diet might kill you. Eating the way I do could be deadly if I fail to address the potential problems inherent in high protein-low simple carbs diets. Thus, the vegan diet is no more deadly or unhealthy than any other.
It is important to note, as some of you have mentioned, that some societies have survived very well on vegetarian diets of various kinds. In like manner, the Eskimos in the Arctic region have survived very well by eating nothing but what they had available--fish that were high in fats, and other animal proteins indigenous to the region.
I want to say it has been fun debating this issue with all of you from the vegan message boards. I wish you all the best in your quest for good health.

5. Diets that are based upon eliminating certain categories of foods, such as the vegan diet, can lead to striking imbalances in essential nutrients, such as iron.
6. Vegan diets are usually extremely low in fats, some of which can help prevent inflammation, arthritis, and other degenerative diseases.
7. Portions of the world population where the diet is limited to meat and fat, such as Iceland, and the Arctic, exhibit strikingly more robust health and longevity than those populations that eat strictly plant-based foods. Why John McCain Will Never Be President
Washington, DC (TLS). Republican Presidential candidate John McCain has begun to become unraveled a bit as the campaign heats up. There is yet a long, long way to go toward the Republican nomination, yet the candidate is already showing signs of strain under the pressure.
On Monday, for the second time in less than a week McCain went ballistic on a fellow Republican over disagreements on the Kennedy-McCain-George W. Bush Immigration Reform bill. Responding to Mitt Romney's continued attacks on the provisions of the bill, McCain went neanderthal by saying, 'Maybe he can get out his small varmint gun and drive those Guatemalans off his yard.'
Not only was the statement terribly ill-advised, but the context and timing were near-suicidal politically.
McCain has made no friends among those multi-millions of Americans who have serious concerns about the nation's safety and security in the midst of an immigration policy that is raging out of control. Americans largely do not like what they see, and they suspect that most politicians in Washington are simply not listening to their concerns.
McCain, along with Kennedy, Clinton, Obama, and many more, are some of the worst offenders. So is George W. Bush.
Thus, when McCain compares Mitt Romney's opposition to a bill that grants amnesty to illegal aliens who work here to a hayseed rednecked hillbilly with a varmint gun, driving 'them thar foreigners' off his property, he has immediately lost his connection with the vast majority of the population.
The thing is, this is the 2nd time in less than a week that McCain has gone ape over the immigration bill, at the expense of another fellow Republican. In that particular exchange, McCain was overheard hurling several denigrating expletives at his colleague in the midst of a heated argument about border security and immigration control.
Americans come away from these kinds of displays with the distinct impression that McCain is simply not in touch with the American heartland on this issue. And they certainly are leery of a candidate for President who cannot listen to opposing points of view without blowing his stack.
Thus, it is our opinion that the candidacy of John McCain is, for all intents and purposes, over. His candidacy never caught on like it did in 2000, and he has lagged behind in fund-raising. Giuliani is clearly running circles around McCain when it comes to capturing the loyalty of moderate Republicans--McCain's ONLY major source of support.

Duncan Hunter--Israel Should Not Give Up One Inch of Land
Washington, DC (TLS). Republican Presidential candidate Duncan Hunter stated Monday that if he is elected President he would be guided by the premise that Israel should not be pressured to give up a single inch of land as a prerequisite for peace.
In the court of world public opinion, somehow Israel is portrayed as the bad guy in its fight for survival against mortal enemies sworn to its demise all around it. Hunter correctly assesses the Middle East situation as 'having the deck stacked' against Israel while Palestinians, Iranians, Al Qaeda, and others go about their dirty work to destroy the Jews and anyone who defends them.
Hunter has thrown his support behind Israel in the fight.

The Vanishing American--A Coup in the Making?
Washington, DC (TLS). The blogger over at 'The Vanishing American' has posted a sobering analysis of the new emerging immigration compromise endorsed by the White House, Ted Kennedy, and John McCain. Apparently there is a growing body of evidence that suggests that a coup is in the making with measures such as this being shoved down the throats of American citizens.

Global Warming Debate Over Carbon Dioxide
Washington, DC (TLS). A key element in the debate over the cause of global warming is the carbon dioxide issue. Doomsday alarmists of the 'consensus' scientists, who maintain mankind is the cause, point to carbon data as proof that what we are putting into the air has caused temperatures to rise.
'Scientists' of this ilk are behind Al Gore's new movie, which I understand has become required viewing in some colleges for graduation, and is being shown in class after class--sometimes forcing students to see it four times in one day in a variety of classes--in high schools.
The propaganda machine is hard at work attempting to indoctrinate the young that mankind is responsible for global warming and that the carbon we put in the air causes temps to rise.
Hard science, i.e., the study of actual verifiable data, shows otherwise.
Scientists who look at the facts and let the facts dictate their policy proposals, rather than allowing their policy bias to dictate how they view science, state that a rise in carbon is a direct RESULT of rising temperatures and NOT the CAUSE of it.
In short, most reliable and honest scientists know that a rise in carbon does not cause a rise in temperatures, but a rise in temperatures causes a rise in carbon dioxide.
This fact is proved in the geological record. During those periods of the earth's history when the planet has been at its warmest, the presence of carbon dioxide is at very high levels. Yet this was long before current lifeforms were even on the planet. There were no man-made emissions going into the atmosphere to cause such a rise in carbon.
Long after Man appeared on the earth, during those cyclical periods when the temperatures rose significantly, we also see a rise in the amount of carbon. Yet these periods in human history pre-date the industrial era. Once again, there were no man-made emissions going into the atmosphere.
Thus, the observable data proves that rising temperatures cause a concomitant rise in carbon. There is to date NO valid historical scientific data that remotely suggests that a rise in carbon creates a rise in temperatures.

Washington, DC (TLS). Most of the proposals put forth by politicians thus far to address the nation's bizarre and uncontrolled immigration problem simply do not address the pertinent issues. At the top of this list is the latest so-called 'compromise' bill on immigration reform put forth by Kennedy-McCain and the White House.
Amnesty is clearly NOT the answer.

Illegal Aliens Commit 90% of Murders in L.A.
Los Angeles, CA (TLS). Here's an eye-opener for you. Statistics from the Los Angeles Police Department and the California Department of Justice show that illegal aliens commit over 90% of the murders in Los Angeles.
This is simply another example of the consequences of a reckless national policy on immigration--a policy that does not even pretend to enforce the laws that are already on the books.
Statements have been made by some in the debate over immigration that perhaps the driving force of the opposition to open borders and amnesty programs is that 'we don't want those kinds of people in the republic.'

Why would I want to open up the country to gangs of thugs who plunder, pillage, pilfer, and perpetrate mayhem? Those who come here to work, learn English, become accustomed to our culture, and support our government and way of life are welcome. Those who come here for the freebies and to fly the Mexican flag are NOT welcome. It is simple as that.

Utah Targets Gun Dealers in Salt Lake Massacre by Bosnian Muslim
Salt Lake City, UT (TLS). The Associated Press is reporting that law enforcement officials in Utah have made some arrests in the case of the Salt Lake Trolley Mall Massacre, which was perpetrated by a Muslim immigrant by the name of Sulejman Talovic.
This time, however, the target is not accomplices in the crime but gun and ammo dealers who sold Talovic the goods.
The action by Utah law enforcement is simply another outgrowth of the mindset that holds gun dealers liable for what patrons do once they purchase the weapons. It is an intimidation tactic of the anti-gun bigots.
In like manner, gun owners are often targeted by law enforcement when their guns are stolen and then used in crimes by criminals. The serial numbers are traced back to the owners, who are then charged as accomplices to the crimes, although they had absolutely nothing to do with them.
This is what I call gun control by 'the backdoor method.' Intimidate gun owners and dealers by these kinds of underhanded, wacko tactics in an attempt to get people to think twice about either selling or owning a gun.
The mindset that leads to this kind of lunacy is epitomized by those politicians who would hold legally liable gun manufacturers for the crimes committed by criminals.
And by the way, if we are going down this trail, we had better start hauling bar tenders off to jail for selling alcohol to a person who then drives and kills someone on the road. Why not make Ford, GM, and Chrysler legally liable for the thousands of highway deaths this year! After all, they made the cars that caused the mayhem. JIMMY CARTER THE WORST PRESIDENT IN U.S. HISTORY
Washington, DC (TLS). James Earl Carter, the worst President in U.S. history, has mouthed off yet again concerning matters he knows nothing about. This time, however, his statement is so outlandish that it defies all logic.
Ex-President Carter stated on Saturday that George W. Bush is 'absolutely the worst President in U.S. history.'
Excuse me, Mr. Carter, but I thought you had carved out for yourself that designation many years ago. No one since has even come close to bumping you out of your place in history as the absolute biggest mistake the American electorate ever made.
I remember full well the days leading up to 'the Reagan Revolution.' In the four years prior to President Reagan's landslide defeat of Jimmy Carter, the U.S. had faced the following dire circumstances:
--interest rates hit a whopping 21%, effectively killing the housing market dead cold
--inflation was running at 13 - 18% per year
--for the first time in American history gasoline prices reached one dollar per gallon
--in the 1978-79 economy, one dollar per gallon fuel put many truckers out of business
--America had become the laughing stock on the world stage, portraying an image of weakness
--this perceived weakness led to the former Soviet Union invading Afghanistan
--this perceived weakness also led to the kidnapping of hostages by the Iranian dictator
--foreign policy initiatives in the Middle East always favored Islamic extremists
--Israel was looked upon as a pariah (Carter still looks at it this way, as his latest book shows)
--cutbacks in military spending and the lack of development of new weapons systems emboldened Communists in the USSR to attempt to beat us in the Cold War arms race
--Carter brought with him to Washington the most inept team of Administration officials in the history of the republic, leading the late Senator Barry Goldwater to refer to them as 'numbskulls'
--Carter was not respected even within his own Party, as Ted Kennedy mounted a strong campaign to wrest the nomination away from Carter in 1980 to run against Reagan (Kennedy lost, but Carter was severely weakened going into the general election)
--Carter blamed the American people for our woes rather than his own ineptitude, referring to Americans as being held in the grip of a 'malaise.'
In short, by the time James Earl Carter got through with the country after four years, we were nearly in shambles both at home and abroad.
Ronald Reagan won the Presidency by reminding Americans of our greatness and that we could recapture that greatness again with the right leadership. He promised lower taxes, lower government spending, building up the military, and facing down the Soviet Union and our other enemies.
He also warned the Iranians that they would have hell to pay if they did not release the hostages once he was elected President.
As Ronald Reagan was being sworn in as President, Iran released the hostages.
My dear friends, if you think George W. Bush is the worst President in history, remember the Carter days. 21% interest rates and 18% inflation. Today we think 7% interest is high and anything above 5% is 'runaway inflation.' I remember all too well when it was MUCH MUCH worse.
Rest assured, the one thing I will NOT do is to allow a demagogue like Jimmy Carter to try to hide his dismal record as President by calling attention to George W. Bush. I lived through those years and I know what it was like. Race Keeps Knoxville Slaying Out of National News
Knoxville, TN (TLS). The brutal murder of a Knoxville, Tennessee couple has certainly made the headlines of local newspapers and television stations, but you won't find a word of it mentioned in the national media. This is odd given the heinous nature of the crime.
Knoxville residents Christopher Newsom, 23, and his girlfriend, 21-year-old Channon Christian, a student at the University of Tennessee, were found brutally murdered in January. Both had been raped and tortured.
In fact, the details of their slaying are so gruesome that they have not been made public by police officials, but plenty of websites have provided the gory details.
Four suspects have been arrested and charged with the crimes. All four are Black. The two victims are white.
And this is the source of the controversy. Local residents and bloggers claim that had the situation been reversed, with four Caucasians raping, torturing, and murdering two young African-Americans, the details of the crime and the arrests would be all over CNN and the national media.
But so far, nary word.
Country music star Charlie Daniels claims that while the news blackout may not be racially motivated or an example of reverse racism, it most definitely is a case of 'selective journalism.'
The trial will be underway in Knoxville very soon, and prosecutors have not yet indicated if they will seek the death penalty.

For example, if your bank requires a valid Social Security Number to open an account, that is a good sign. But even that is not enough to insure that your bank is not aiding and abetting illegal aliens.
Ask them if they accept the 'Matricula Consular Card' that illegal aliens must have to open a bank account. If your bank accepts this card, then it provides services to illegal aliens. If they tell you they do NOT accept this card, then you know that your bank adheres to U.S. Law and refuses to provide aid to people who break the law.

TERRORISM EXPERT BLASTS IMMIGRATION BILL
Washington, DC (TLS). Counterterrorism expert Michael Cutler has slammed the immigration agreement worked out between the White House and the Senate. Cutler has done scholarly research for years on worldwide terrorism, both foreign and domestic, and has provided sound policy recommendations.
Cutler maintains that a so-called 'guest worker program' is a dangerous way to go. In fact, Cutler refers to this specific provision of the bill as a 'Guest Worker Amnesty Program.'
Despite denials by the White House and Senate Democrats that the bill provides amnesty to illegal aliens, the guest worker program does exactly that, as Cutler shows below.

Hillary, Pelosi Lying About Gas Price-Gouging
Washington, DC (TLS). Two of Washington's premier Socialists, Senator Hillary Clinton and Speaker Nancy Pelosi, have been decrying so-called 'price-gouging' by the big oil companies.
First, it was Hillary with her now-infamous line from her stump speech concerning oil company profits--'We are going to take that money and put it in a fund for the development of alternative forms of energy.'
Spoken like a true Socialist.
Now it is Nancy Pelosi's condemnation of the oil companies this week, reacting to a new national average price of $3.07 per gallon of gas.
Pelosi was incensed by the fact that in her home district of San Francisco, the highest price of gasoline stood at $3.49 per gallon. Thus, she introduced a bill in the House, H.R. 1252, to 'protect consumers from price-gouging.'
Time for a reality check, Ms. Clinton and Ms. Pelosi.
When adjusted for inflation over a 25-year period, the national average for a gallon of gas is actually LOWER today than it was in 1981, just as Jimmy Carter was leaving the White House.
In addition, apparently consumers need protection from GOVERNMENT price gouging rather than gouging by the oil companies!
If anyone would bother to check the actual figures, one would find that the big oil companies make roughly 13 cents per gallon on the gasoline that is sold in America. Out of an average price of $3.07 per gallon, the big oil companies themselves gain a profit of just 13 CENTS PER GALLON.
Would anyone like to guess what THE GOVERNMENT makes on a gallon of gas?
Remember, a huge chunk of what you and I pay at the pump is for TAXES, both state and federal. Thus, for each gallon of gas sold, the federal government makes 18.4 cents per gallon. That is 5.4 cents per gallon higher than what those 'price-gouging' oil companies make!
On top of that, in the state of California, 40.2 cents per gallon goes to the state government. In other words, the state of California makes THREE TIMES the amount of profit the oil companies get from a gallon of gas.
And we are not through yet. Let's look at Pelosi's district alone, shall we? In the San Francisco Congressional district, which Pelosi represents, consumers pay a LOCAL tax on top of the state and federal tax. San Francisco residents pay another 8.2% in local sales taxes for their gasoline.
Thus, for every gallon of gasoline you purchase, you are going to pay at least 58.6 cents per gallon in federal and state taxes, plus 8.2% of the total for your local taxes.
For one gallon of gas, the government gets 58.6 cents plus 8.2% as compared to the 13 cents in profit that goes to the oil companies.
So who is actually doing the gouging here?
This is why I say that Hillary Clinton and Nancy Pelosi are lying, deliberately attempting to deceive the American people.
Let's do the math in a hypothetical situation. Let's say you pull up to the pump in San Francisco in your eco-friendly hybrid, and it so happens you have found one lone gas station selling gasoline at the national average of 3.07 per gallon. Let's say you purchase ten gallons of gas for the total price of $30.70.
Out of that total price of $30.70, the oil companies make a whopping $1.30 in profit. ONE DOLLAR AND THIRTY CENTS out of your tank of gas.
The federal government makes $1.84 in federal taxes...54 cents higher than the 'profit' the oil companies make.
As for the state of California, out of your $30.70 purchase, the state government will get $4.02. Don't let this one escape your attention. The oil companies make one dollar and thirty cents' profit out of your purchase, but the state of California makes FOUR DOLLARS AND TWO CENTS.
We're still not finished yet. We still have to add two dollars and forty-eight cents for the 8.2% local sales tax for San Francisco.
Thus, out of your purchase of $30.70 in gasoline, you will pay $8.34 in federal, state, and local sales taxes. Yet you have paid the big oil companies a mere $1.30 out of your purchase.
And this brings us back to the central point. Why would Hillary Clinton and Nancy Pelosi lie to the American public about so-called 'price gouging' by the big oil companies? In fact, they really do have a great amount of gall to suggest such a thing when the government will get over SIX TIMES that amount per gallon of gas sold.
Naturally, neither Clinton nor Pelosi would view such a thing as highway robbery. As long as the government does it, it is automatically for the 'greater good.' But the minute you let a corporation make a profit--and a tiny one at that--then that company is automatically a price-gouging, evil, corrupt, and malevolent example of capitalism.
Do you want to pay lower prices at the gas pump? Well, you are targeting the wrong people if you strike out at the oil companies. Get these gasoline taxes either lowered or eliminated, and you will automatically save 8 bucks per tank (10 gallons) in the state of California.
If you drive a large vehicle you will save about 16 bucks per tank.
Thus, when you feel the pain at the pump, be sure to remember just what is the biggest source of that pain--the government and not the oil companies.

DEMOCRATS PROPOSE LARGEST TAX INCREASE IN AMERICAN HISTORY
Washington, DC (TLS). You will not hear this reported on the mainstream network news programs. You will not read about this in the New York Times, Time Magazine, or Newsweek. In fact, it took a Republican representative in the U.S. House, Rep. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tennessee, to take to the floor of the House to point out for the record that within the Democrat majority's budget proposal lies the largest single tax increase in American history.
The Democrats want you and me to pay the IRS 392.5 BILLION more in taxes over the next five years.
That's right. 392.5 BILLION DOLLARS.
Rep. Blackburn states that in the state of Tennessee alone, the average taxpayer will owe the IRS an average of over 2000 dollars more in taxes. TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS PER TAXPAYER.
This should be enough of an outrage to the average American voter that Congress should be inundated, even shut down, with the number of protest calls placed into the nation's capital.
Many of us warned the electorate of this very thing prior to November of 2006. We warned you that if the Democrats took control of Congress we can expect to pay out the wazoo through our pocketbooks.
Most turned a deaf ear to those warnings in the midst of their temper tantrum over the Iraq War. Temper tantrums rarely result in rational decisions. And the decision the electorate made last November was to place into the majority a gang of thugs that will rob you of your money, take your guns, try to restrict your speech, declare America the loser in Iraq, denigrate our troops by refusing to pass an adequate spending measure to support them, and make it a hate crime for your preacher to state in church that homosexual acts are sinful abominations.
This tax increase proposal is absolutely the last straw. These imbeciles have got to go. And heaven help us if we elect one to the Presidency. If we do that, we deserve to live under tyranny.
