'The Women of the Iranian Revolution'

She was young, pretty, vivacious. And she was murdered in cold blood by barbaric jackbooted government thugs in Iran. Her face has now become a rallying cry for freedom fighters in Iran and other oppressed nations around the world.

Neda was her name. She is among the bold, courageous women of the Iranian Revolution.

Read all about her and others in a moving tribute at Atlas Shrugs.

And remember, this could well be the U.S. in a few short years, perhaps sooner.

***ANOTHER CRITICAL LIBERTY ALERT***

The words on the screen are eerily reminiscent of another era in American history--the days of the Cuban Missile Crisis during which Russia aimed nuclear missiles at the U.S. just 90 miles away in the Communist haven of Fidel Castro.

As Obama and the Democrats focus on removing trade and travel restrictions to the Communist country, Cuba is preparing to allow Russian bombers to utilize its air bases. So is Venezuela.

The newly forged Communist-Jihadist Axis of Russia, Cuba, Venezuela, Iran, and North Korea is beginning to show its potential force which will pose a major problem for the West, particularly in light of the fact that Obama has nixed the Bush plan to set up a nuclear shield to protect free nations from the new menace.

The Most Dangerous Man in America

You know that the nation is in deep trouble when the most dangerous man in America is the President of the United States.

I know this is a brazen statement. But let's consider the facts.

He has made the decision to close Gitmo prison that houses the most dangerous terrorists in the world. This will mean that these barbarians will be brought to the U.S. mainland to be housed in a prison facility near you, right in your own backyard.

He has decided that overseas sponsors of terror need to be 'understood' and 'listened to.' Not only that, but he has decided America needs to apologize to these terrorist regimes for being responsible for poor relations between the U.S. and the nations involved.

We have nothing to apologize to a terrorist for. And such an act only emboldens terrorists, which we saw with the reaction of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad when he said that Obama's statement proves that the U.S. is now 'in a weakened state.'

Ahmadinejad then proceeded to make demands of the U.S. before Iran would be willing to sit down at the negotiating table with the U.S.

Note that last point carefully. In Obama's world it is not the U.S. that makes demands of a terrorist state prior to diplomatic negotiations but it is the terrorist world that makes demands of the U.S.

And Iran's first demand was that the U.S. cease to be an ally of Israel.

You see, this is precisely what you get when an imbecile sits in the White House.

Not only is Obama setting the stage for nuclear war in the Middle East when Israel has to go it alone to fight for her survival in a region of nations that desire that she be wiped off the map, but he is creating a scenario where terrorists will be coming en mass to our own shores.

We can expect a major terrorist attack on American soil at some point before this monstrosity we have elected leaves office.

Add to that Obama's desire (and that of his new Attorney-General) to disarm average American citizens, and we then have a scenario where the entire country from top to bottom is nothing but a sitting duck not only for thugs, thieves, murderers, and rapists, but terrorists who will unleash their suicide bombs on American streets, just as they have been doing in Israel.

Welcome to Obamaland.

Obama's Policy on Iran Blames America

Within his first two weeks of office, Barack Obama has made a series of glaring blunders with regard to U.S. foreign policy. One of those blunders involves a change in U.S. policy toward Iran.

As Middle East expert and world-renown journalist Caroline Glick notes,

The most sympathetic interpretation of Obama's desire to move ahead with diplomatic engagement in spite of the mullocracy's preconditions is that he has simply failed to countenance the significance of Iran's demands. This means that Obama remains convinced that the US is indeed to blame for the supposed crisis of confidence that the Islamic world suffers from in its dealings with America. By this reasoning, it is for the US, not for Teheran, to show its sincerity, because the US, rather than Teheran, is to blame for the dismal state of relations prevailing between the two countries.

Thus, the 'Obama Doctrine' is that America, not the terrorist regime in Iran, is to blame for the dismal state of affairs between the 2 nations.

And therefore, according to Glick, Israel will be forced to change its policy accordingly:

And under these circumstances, Israel's next government - which all opinion polls conclude will be led by Likud leader Binyamin Netanyahu - will have to adopt certain policies.

First, in keeping with his campaign rhetoric, Netanyahu will have to make preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons his most urgent priority upon entering office.

And second, to withstand US pressure to allow the Obama administration time to develop its ties with Teheran, (time that Iran will use to build its first nuclear bomb), Netanyahu will need to form as large and wide a governing coalition as possible. All issues that divide the Israeli electorate between Right and Left must be temporarily set aside.

In the age of Honest Obama, Israel is alone in recognizing the necessity of preventing Iran from acquiring the means to destroy the Jewish state. Consequently, Netanyahu's government will need to proceed with all deliberate speed to take whatever actions are necessary to prevent Israel's destruction.

This is serious, life-and-death stuff about which we speak here. Be sure to read the entirety of Caroline Glick's stunning analysis of the dangers to come here.

Israeli Nuke Plant in Crossfire from Hamas

Stunned by the firepower exhibited by the terrorist organization Hamas, the Israelis stated on Thursday that its nuclear power plant in Dimona is in danger of being hit with Gaza rockets.

The Gaza terrorists have strengthened their ability to fire rockets much deeper into Israel than previously had been believed.

Israel’s worst nightmare is that soon all its cities will be within range either of the Hezbollah Katyushas arrayed on the Lebanese border to the north or the increasingly sophisticated missiles stockpiled by Hamas to the south. Both groups have links to Israel’s archenemy Iran.

The fact that Iran is behind much of the arsenal is of grave concern.

RUSSIA GOES NUTS OVER POLAND'S OFFER

Russia has threatened Poland with a nuclear attack.

Yes, you read that right.

When the nation of Poland, frightened by Russia's blatant, lawless invasion of a sovereign nation, offered the U.S. the right to place a nuclear missile defense shield in the country, Russia responded by going nuts...bonkers...luny.

In response to Poland's desire to protect itself from nukes, Russia went into hysterics by threatening Poland with a nuclear attack if they allow the U.S. to give them such a defense shield.

According to Financial Times, Russia is concerned about the part of the agreement that allows the U.S. to place some of its Patriot missiles in Poland.

Yet the Russians hardly have any room to complain. By invading and occupying Georgia, which posed absolutely no threat whatsoever to the Russians, Vladimir Putin and his KGB comrades who control the government have demonstrated to the world that they are just as great a threat to world stability and the security of bordering nations as the old USSR.

Both Poland and the Czech Republic are in grave danger of attack and invasion by the Russians. The entire area is also a prime target of Iran.

In order to provide for their defense against lunatics in the region such as Iran and Russia, the nations of Poland, the Czech Republic, Georgia, and others are in dire need of the anti-missile defense shield.

News Alert! Israel Plans to Bomb Iran?

U.S. officials state that military exercises conducted by Israel earlier this month appear to be directed at Iran, and that it seems likely that Israel plans to launch bombs against nuclear facilities in Iran.

If this indeed is the plan, then good for them. Such a move is long overdue. With the squeamishness of the West in dealing directly with the danger a nuclear Iran poses to the entire world, then perhaps Israel can do what we have not had the courage to do.

The key will be keeping the Bush administration, particularly Secretary Rice, out of the picture. With Bush now focused on his 'legacy' and with Rice making ridiculous assertions about dividing Jerusalem, we can be assured they will do all in their power to pressure Israel not to conduct the bombing.

But Israel needs to stick to its guns. History shows that when we turn the Israelis loose, they get the job done when it comes to their own security as a nation.

Thus, I say to Israel, let the bombs fly.

Here is more on the story:

Valerie Plame Back in the News

Valerie Plame, the CIA operative who claims she was 'outed' by Bush Administration officials in retaliation against her husband, Joe Wilson, is back in the news. This time she claims her 'covert' work involved gathering information on Iran's nuclear program.

Immediately both the mainstream media and the Left are placed in a precarious situation by the claim.

Supposedly Iran had no such program. Conventional wisdom, as relayed by the mouthpieces of the mainstream media, always cast doubt on the suggestion that Iran was working on a nuclear weapons program.

One can safely assume that the reason for such well-placed doubt was the suspicion that Bush Administration officials were using such claims as justification for attacking Iran. Thus, any slight hint that Iran either had nukes or was intending to develop such weapons had to be dismissed.

For example, as recently as June, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi claimed that Iran was absolutely no threat to the U.S. or the world, and that there was no credible evidence that Al Qaeda or any other terrorist group in Iran was sending insurgents into Iraq.

And this leads us to the following question. Where did the materials for Iran's nuclear program come from?

We know that loosely connected terrorist organizations and rogue nations have a vested interest in Iranian nukes.

The bottom line is that if what Plame is saying is true, then the preconceived notions concerning Iran on the part of the mainstream media and the Left have been totally wrong.

The other alternative is the possibility that Plame is making the whole thing up. While this alternative is highly unlikely, such a possibility raises the stakes in the charges made against Scooter Libby. If Plame is no more trustworthy a witness than to fabricate or exaggerate her work with the CIA, then how can she be believed when giving testimony concerning her supposed 'outing' by the Bush Administration?

Her credibility at that point goes out the window.

Yet we already know there is at least some credibility to Plame's claims. We know that Iran has been developing nuclear weapons, and we have a good idea who is helping them do it. But we knew this anyway, without any information provided by Plame.

The problem is we cannot know for sure if Plame is being totally candid concerning the role she played, if any, in the Iranian nuke intelligence gathering process. But we do know enough to totally debunk the Left's contention that Iran is no serious threat.

Unintended Consequence at Columbia University

The appearance of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on the campus of Columbia University revealed a profound unintended consequence: the 'outing' of Ahmadinejad as the bumbling but dangerous buffoon he really is.

Some would say that the Iranian President's remarks at Columbia on Monday make him look so completely foolish that no one will take him seriously any longer. That would be a big mistake.

No greater danger is posed to the free world than a fool in control of a nation with nuclear power who believes Israel should be blown off the face of the map. If anything, Ahmadinejad revealed to the free world just how how deeply his ignorance influences his values.

Columbia University could not have foreseen these consequences of a terribly ill-informed decision to give one of the faces of modern evil a reputable platform from which to spout his unique form of hate and bigotry. This is the campus that spurns the ROTC and that has withdrawn speaking invitations from major conservative spokespersons.

Thus, Columbia's insistence that its invitation was all about 'free speech' is largely disingenuous. The University does not routinely afford free speech to noted conservative voices, particularly those on the front-lines of the global war on Islamists.

The University is also known for giving a platform to extremist Muslims from which they can deliver the most despicable and vile attacks against Jews and Israel, while refusing to grant to major Jewish voices the opportunity to speak about the dangers of the global Jihad.

And this is totally apart from the fact that it is entirely inappropriate for an American university to provide a megaphone to one of America's sworn enemies during a war.

To be fair, Columbia's President told the ugly truth about Ahmadinejad calmly and systematically in his remarks to introduce the Iranian leader. He is to be commended for his careful, deliberative manner of enumerating the many reasons Ahmadinejad is to be considered a scourge to the world.

But this does not in any way absolve Columbia of its shame and guilt for giving such an individual an opportunity to bask in even more of the world's attention.

As for Ahmadinejad's remarks, perhaps he succeeded in driving a nail into his own coffin by simply opening his mouth at Columbia. He refused to answer directly a question concerning his prior remarks that the Holocaust never happened, that Israel has no right to exist, and that he intends to build and use nuclear bombs to back up his rhetoric.

But perhaps the most telling feature of all was Ahmadinejad's claim that, 'We have no gays in Iran.'

Of course not. When you are the leader of a country that has outlawed homosexual behavior, freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of the Press, and freedom to assemble; where women are subjugated to the status of a dog--a mere possession of a man; and where liberty itself is considered evil and contrary to the laws of Allah; it is too easy to assume that when you look out the window over your fiefdom you see nothing but purity and harmony.

Vile and despicable human beings who dissent in public or decide to become Catholic, and shameful, godless women who speak their minds, are nowhere to be found.

Detractors, dissenters, and protesters have either been killed or imprisoned. The rest have either fled for their lives or gone underground. But in no way does this mean they do not exist.

Thus, perhaps in some odd way Columbia and Ahmadinejad did us all a favor. We were afforded a rare opportunity to see the backwardness, and the danger, of the mind of a Jihadist at work.

If ALL Democrats Could Be Like This...

Washington, DC (TLS). Senator Joseph Lieberman, whom the Democrats abandoned during the 2006 election cycle in order to support a fringe-element Leftist anti-war pacifist, has stated in an interview that the U.S. should bomb Iran unless it stops feeding aid to terrorist insurgents in Iran.

If only there were more Democrats like Lieberman...not that Lieberman is a Democrat anymore. He was chased out of the Party by a bunch of extremist nutcases who would rather cow-tow to terrorists than use military force.

The nation needs more statesmen like Lieberman who put national security and honor ahead of personal political gain.

Duncan Hunter--Israel Should Not Give Up One Inch of Land

Washington, DC (TLS). Republican Presidential candidate Duncan Hunter stated Monday that if he is elected President he would be guided by the premise that Israel should not be pressured to give up a single inch of land as a prerequisite for peace.

In the court of world public opinion, somehow Israel is portrayed as the bad guy in its fight for survival against mortal enemies sworn to its demise all around it. Hunter correctly assesses the Middle East situation as 'having the deck stacked' against Israel while Palestinians, Iranians, Al Qaeda, and others go about their dirty work to destroy the Jews and anyone who defends them.

Hunter has thrown his support behind Israel in the fight.

Needless to say, we like it! Read the full story here:

'I Found Saddam's WMD Bunkers'--Air Force Officer

Washington, DC (TLS). Melanie Phillips, British journalist-extraordinaire, has published explosive information about Saddam Hussein's weapons of mass destruction program. Phillips, who hardly accepts the word of dubious news sources, states that this particular source is entirely trustworthy and above reproach.

He is U.S. Air Force Special Investigations officer Dave Gaubatz, who states that he personally discovered and investigated the various bunkers where Saddam kept his stash of chemical, biological, and nuclear weapons. Gaubatz maintains that through a major faux pas on the part of the U.S. military, this stash inadvertently wound up in the hands of the Iranians who are now using it to develop their own arsenal to use against the United States.

This, according to Gaubatz, is the reason why the U.S. government is mum concerning the discovery of the WMD bunkers.

Read Phillips' explosive story here, a story you will likely not read or hear anywhere else:

The Terrorists Win Again

Washington, DC (TLS). As the world breaths a sigh of relief that the 15 British hostages are being released by the Iranian government, there is without question a much darker side to this entire scenario. The terrorists have won again. The Iranian government accomplished its purpose by utterly humiliating Great Britain by taking their soldiers hostage, parading them on TV, the female in Muslim head-gear and the men apologizing for supposedly entering Iranian waters, while singing the praises of their captors.

And then Iranian President/terrorist/madman/Holocaust Denier Mahmoud Ahmadinejad comes forth to 'save the day,' claiming he has given Britain an 'Easter gift,' and coming across looking like a benevolent statesmen in the Muslim propaganda machine.

But make no mistake about it, this was a calculated scheme from the very start.

Iran is under great pressure from Europe, the United States, and the United Nations concerning its rogue status and its program of building nuclear weapons. It needed a public relations boost, and unfortunately, it got one handed to them by Great Britain.

The terrorists win by appearing benevolent and open to diplomacy and negotiation, Leftists win by being enabled to claim that talking to Iran rather than waging war against them is the thing that gets positive results, and the world is once again duped into believing that such displays by a dangerous nation that has vowed to annihilate Israel and the West is some indication that they are really not that bad after all.

Prime Minister Chamberlain of Great Britain thought the same thing when he signed a treaty with a very benevolent Adolf Hitler prior to WWII.

While Britain cheered Chamberlain as a hero for keeping them from war, a lone voice, that of Winston Churchill, warned Parliament that they had been duped, that Chamberlain had just been made the fool, and that Hitler would only continue his deadly march through Europe.

In just a few short days following the supposed triumph of Chamberlain, Hitler proceeded to break the treaty. He then invaded Poland, dragging Great Britain into the middle of war with Germany because of its treaty obligations to Poland.

While it is always good news that hostages are released unharmed, the world must not lose its focus or its bearings. Iran is still one of the most dangerous nations on earth. They are clearly not benevolent. Neither is Ahmadinejad. They are murderers. They sponsor terrorism. The fact that they allowed 15 British hostages to go free in order to play to the court of public opinion in no way minimizes or negates the fact that they wish to kill innocent people because they do not embrace Islam.

Ahmadinejad hopes that his little charade will buy him some more time as Iran continues to develop nuclear weapons and as it continues to funnel terrorists into Iraq and work for the destruction of Israel.

Informed people know that the entire display is a ruse. And it is our task to keep this fact flowing along the information highway for the less informed. Iran is still a dangerous enemy that must be stopped.

IRAN CHARGES BRITONS WITH ESPIONAGE

Washington, DC (TLS). Iran announced on Saturday that it intends to place the British soldiers it kidnapped on trial for espionage. The announcement came on the same day that the U.N. Security Council passed a resolution approving new sanctions against the rogue, extremist Muslim nation.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was scheduled to speak before the U.N. chamber on Saturday prior to the Security Council's vote but cancelled the trip in the aftermath of his nation's kidnapping of British soldiers and the subsequent build-up of U.S. and British forces in the Persian Gulf.

American and British forces in the Gulf remain on high alert as tensions between Iran and the West continue to rise. Great Britain has demanded the full, unconditional release of its servicemen, who were captured off the coast of Kuwait. Kuwaiti observers insist the soldiers were in Iraqi waters. Iran insists they were in Iranian waters.

Somehow, mysteriously, Iran claims it has a 'confession' from the kidnapped men claiming that they were in Iranian waters. Observers in the area dispute that claim, which suggests that Iran has placed inappropriate pressure on the soldiers.

The news today that Iran plans to place British servicemen on trial for 'espionage' is a serious development in this showdown, one which points to the stark reality that we are nearing a major crisis in the Gulf.

The West cannot allow a terrorist nation to place on trial any of our servicemen for crimes as serious as the one with which they are charged. Given the present circumstances within the Gulf, the British soldiers had every reason to be where they were as we attempt to secure Iraq and insulate it from terrorist insurgents from Iran.

We must remember that in extremist Muslim states, the death penalty is not reserved for just murder but is commonly used for a variety of crimes, including doing nothing more than speaking negatively about Islam. Espionage would be considered a most serious offense, and thus, these fundamentalists will not hesitate to apply the death penalty to the kidnapped soldiers when they are found guilty, and we can rest assured that they WILL be found guilty.

Thus, the West cannot wait and deliver a measured response. The response must be swift, sure, resolute, and devastating. We can begin by delivering an ultimatum to Ahmadinejad--either release the kidnapped British soldiers or face the wrath of the massive arsenal of various types of modern weaponry that the U.S. and Great Britain have at their disposal.

If that means threatening Ahmadinejad with nuclear annihilation, then so be it. The West MUST show Iran NOW that we will not tolerate any more of their saber-rattling threats or their despicable acts of terror.

LIBERTY ALERT! SHOWDOWN IN THE GULF

Washington, DC (TLS). Tensions are high in the Persian Gulf this evening as U.S. and British forces reinforce their presence in the region in light of the kidnapping of British soldiers by the Iranian military. The British soldiers were taken in Iraqi waters just off the coast of Kuwait.

The situation has grown so tense that Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad cancelled a much-publicized trip to New York to speak before the U.N. General Assembly on Saturday prior to a vote on a resolution further condemning Iran's nuclear program.

Observers are puzzled, however, that at such a critical moment in Iran's attempt to avoid further recriminations from the United Nations it would perpetrate such a blatant act of hostility.

The bottom line is that Iran is a rogue state seeking to develop nuclear bombs. Its President has made it clear he would not hesitate to use those bombs against Israel, Europe, and the United States. He has also made it perfectly clear that he wishes to annihilate the nation of Israel entirely, wiping it from the map.

Unless the British navy-men are released unharmed, then the U.S. and Britain must take immediate military action to stop the spreading scourge of radical, Iranian Islam. This can only be accomplished by military strikes from the air and sea, aimed at nuclear facilities and Iran's houses of government in Teheran.

Iran, North Korea, Venezuela, and Russia

Washington, DC (TLS). Iran's race to build and deploy a nuclear weapon involves a few key players that add up to a dire axis of destruction for the West. We now have proof positive that Iran has joined with North Korea and Venezuela to form a dangerous liaison of extremists who are intent on extending their power world-wide.

We also know that Russia is selling nukes to Syria and Iran.

Thus, while the Democrats in Congress sit twiddling their thumbs and going goo-goo gaa-gaa, the world edges ever closer to global nuclear war.

Webb Seeks To Tie Bush's Hands on Iran

Washington, DC (TLS). Senator Jim Webb, D-Virginia, has introduced a bill in the Senate that would tie the President's hands in dealing with Iranian terrorism and its attacks against our troops in Iraq. The freshman Democrat from Virginia introduced legislation that requires the President to 'seek authorization before using force against Iran.'

Webb stated, 'This presidency has shot from the hip too many times for us to be able to trust it to act on its own. We need Congress to be involved in any decision to commence military activities absent from an attack from the other side or a direct threat.' Further, Webb maintains, 'this bill denies funding that would be necessary to begin such operations against Iran in the first place.'

It is no secret that Webb carries a deep-seated, near-pathological disdain for George W. Bush, refusing to shake his hand at the White House reception for incoming Congressmen and Senators. Despite the President reaching out to the toddler who obviously needed a diaper-change, Webb gave an abrupt retort to the President when Mr. Bush asked about Webb's son.

Yet Webb has the unmitigated gall to claim the President 'shoots from the hip.'

Obviously Mr. Webb is too dumb to know we now have confirmation that Iran is sponsoring the terrorist attacks on our troops and on Iraqis inside Iraq. And apparently the Senator from Virginia is too ignorant to realize that Iran is one of the biggest threats in the world to the security of Israel, Europe, and the United States. Further, the cry-baby tantrum-throwing Junior Senator from Virginia is woefully uninformed about the grave danger a nuclear Iran would pose to the entire world.

Or maybe he knows all of these things but simply doesn't care.

It is no secret that Webb lied to the public to get elected. Portraying himself as one of the so-called 'blue dog Democrats' who are conservative and would stand against the ultra-Liberalism of Nancy Pelosi. these 'blue dogs' proceeded to be a part of a Democrat majority that has proposed some of the most tyrannical legislation in the history of the Republic. They have marched in lockstep with Pelosi, Kennedy, Kerry, Dodd, Reid, Conyers, and Hillary.

So much for the 'blue dog conservatives.' Not a single Democrat in either chamber of Congress has stood valiantly for freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom to keep and bear arms, or any other basic liberty the Constitution protects.

As far as we can tell, the blue dog Democrats are just as rotten to the core as the rest of the lot.

They are a part of the Democrat gang of thugs that has tried to unleash a massive assault on individual liberty, even to the point of making it a hate crime to even speak against homosexuality.

As far as I'm concerned, this was absolutely the last straw. This gang of thugs has got to go. And when we finally grab them by the seat of the pants and the nape of the neck and toss them out the door in 2008, we need to make sure their lying 'blue dogs' are thrown out with them.

I have very little tolerance for the forces of anti-freedom. And this bunch has pushed my last button.

Have I said that Webb is an idiot yet?

Nope, so here it is.

The bottom line? Webb is an idiot who is an embarrassment to the U.S. Senate. What is it with these Virginia Senators, anyway? Even the Republican senior Senator from Virginia, John Warner, has turned yellow-bellied when it comes to fighting terror and holding back Iran.

Has Cindy Sheehan been polluting the water up there with a substance that zaps otherwise sane people into pacifistic ultra-Liberals?

The President doesn't need approval from Congress to go after Iran. They attacked us first, and they have persisted in attacking us. Webb simply needs to go get his pacifier and shut up. He should leave the security of the nation and the free world to the grown ups.

Cowardly Senate Dems Seek to 'Vietnamize' Iraq

Washington, DC (TLS). Cowardly Senate Democrats have crafted a plan that will effectively 'Vietnamize' the War in Iraq, leading to an abject American failure and defeat. This is not surprising given that many of the leading Democrat operatives in the Senate were very much present during the Viet Nam War era. Senators Kerry, Kennedy, Leahy, and company would force the President to change course in Iraq much as the Democrat-controlled Congress did to Richard Nixon in the early 1970s.

Yes, it is Viet Nam all over again, but only because these cowards, who somehow exhibit a fatalistic desire for America to lose, want it to be.

Senator Harry Reid, Senate Majority Leader, is expected to introduce a bill that would effectively revoke the broad powers Congress gave to the President in conducting the War on Terror. They also wish to prevent the President from protecting U.S. soldiers by forbidding attacks on Iran, the single biggest threat to world security on the planet today.

Thus, by refusing to allow the President to go after Iranian terrorists who murder our troops and who pose a threat to Israel, Europe, and the free world, the Democrats are once again playing right into the hands of America's enemies.

They should bring out Hanoi Jane to make the announcement of the new bill.

My, that certainly would cause us to wax nostalgic once again--to relive those glorious moments in American history when Liberals made excuses for Communist thugs and when our beloved Hanoi Jane went to North Viet Nam and committed treason.

It truly is Viet Nam all over again.

And it is very clear that present-day Democrats still have a death-wish for America. Somehow their collective guilt and self-loathing as a result of whatever deep-seated psychopathic motivations explain their behavior still drive them to wish to see their own country humiliated.

This time, however, that loony-'toons motivation will in all likelihood result in thousands if not millions of deaths at the hands of Iranian terrorists.

Iran to Take Half of Iraq?

Washington, DC (TLS). The Liberty Sphere has learned of an ominous plan under consideration that would divide Iraq in half. Under the proposed plan, half the country would be given to Iran as a haven for terrorists.

This bombshell was dropped by Republican U.S. Representative Michele Bachmann of Minnesota.

You may remember Rep. Bachmann as the original sponsor of the 'Taxpayers' Bill of Rights,' the goal of which was to protect taxpayer interests and guard against needless tax increases. Bachmann was also the very first Republican woman to be elected to national office in the state of Minnesota. First elected in 2000, Bachmann has been one of the rising stars of the Republican Party. She represents Minnesota's 6th Congressional District and serves on the House Financial Services Committee.

Bachmann claims that a plan has been proposed whereby Iraq would be divided, giving half the country to Iran. This area would serve as a haven for terrorists where they would be given sanctuary, training, and financial support. Bachmann also fears that the sector would serve as a staging area for terrorist attacks in the Middle East and against the United States.

However, the details are fuzzy as to where the proposal came from and by whom. Bachmann had earlier suggested the plan was final. Later she backed away from her initial assessment and stated that this was a proposal on the table and was being considered by those within the U.S. government who are debating the future course of America in Iraq.

Bachmann has refused to grant interviews to the Media concerning her assertions.

This suggests to observers that perhaps the Congresswoman 'outed' certain members of the Bush Administration who are apparently ready to give away half the country to Iran in exchange for some semblance of victory in Iraq. Thus, the retraction and the subsequent silence.

The Liberty Sphere is in no way blaming Rep. Bachmann for this series of statements and retractions. Obviously Congressional Republicans are under immense pressure from the White House to 'get with the program,' and proponents of this ominous plan certainly would not want word of their agenda spread throughout the media.

Representative Bachmann actually did us all a favor by uncovering a covert plan that would essentially be a boon to terrorism not only in the Middle East but around the world. She should be congratulated for alerting the media, and the public, about this grossly ill-conceived notion of rewarding terrorists with a portion of Iraq in exchange for a partial victory in the rest of the country.

Such shenanigans may make the President look good, but the consequences would be disastrous.

The American public should in no way whatsoever lend their support to any plan that would reward terrorists or make their ultimate goal of world domination easier. As for me, I would consider Representative Bachmann as a true American patriot whose service in Washington comes at a time when their number is few and far between.
