It has been suggested that Communist Van Jones will continue working behind the scenes for the Obama White House, even after announcing his resignation as the 'green jobs czar.'

By now everyone should know about the resignation of Communist Van Jones as Obama's 'green job czar.' One down and at least 43 more to go!
Glenn Beck did a yeoman's work on TV and radio in exposing the extremism of Jones and decrying the fact that an avowed Communist was serving right in the White House.
But on the Internet, one of The Liberty Sphere's preferred bloggers, Gateway Pundit, did one more heckuva job exposing the dangerous extremism of this man who had received the accolades and praise of Obama and his chief Senior Adviser Valerie Jarrett.

Unbelievable--Castro Declared World Hero of Solidarity

None other than the United Nations.
I remember when world heroes of solidarity were people like Lech Waleza of Poland, who led the workers Union to rebel against Communism. Now we embrace Communism and its murderous adherents, such as Fidel Castro.

So What if Van Jones Resigns?
There are dozens more just like him with whom Obama can replace him.
And if Obama's Senior Adviser Valerie Jarrett has anything to do with it, extremists are the ONLY types of advisers suitable for Obama.

The Dumbed-Down Generation
As I contemplated the possibility that the Obama bandwagon could well steam-roll over all of us who cherish liberty, the thought occurred to me that this could be the culmination of years of hard work by those who have a vested interest in destroying America.
The 60s generation gave us school busing, lower standards in schools, safeguarding 'self-esteem' at all costs even if it means giving passing grades to those who can't read, and of course, Leftwing radicalism that called America evil and Communism/Socialism good.
Some among that generation never gave up their vision for a different kind of America where the Constitution is considered a relic of the past and where government is all-powerful.
After all, the Constitution was written by 'a bunch of old men who believed in slavery,' as Whoopie Goldberg stated during an interview with John McCain some time ago on that joke of a TV program, 'The View.'
This, of course, is meant to silence all defense of the Constitution out of the fear one may be tagged as a racist.
Whoopie, of course, failed to mention that this very Constitution FREED slaves. One cannot hold people who lived in the 18th century to 21st century concepts. But the principles espoused by those 'old men' in the 1700s led to slavery being outlawed in the 1800s. The principles themselves were so forward-looking that even the Founders didn't know all of the ways in which liberty could express itself.
In addition, many products of our public school system today seem to think that mass murderers like Che Guevara, Joseph Stalin, Fidel Castro, and Chairman Mao are pretty cool guys. Communism and Socialism are accepted as good ideas. Nevermind that in each case where these ideologies gain a foothold, citizens are robbed of their rights and multi-millions are murdered by their own government.
Do most students in America today know this?
Absolutely not!
Even John Edwards, Joe Biden, and Barack Obama didn't know that the Second Amendment is a right, not a privilege. And each of these are lawyers!
By the way, why is it that not a single reporter in the media has asked Barack Obama why his campaign offices across the country have pictures of Cuban mass murderer Che Guevara hanging all over the walls? Guevara, of course, was one of Fidel Castro's hatchet men when he first came to power in Cuba, making sure the opposition was minimized by the systematic slaughter of ordinary citizens.
But of course, Fidel Castro is considered a pretty good guy by Obama supporters as well.
Yet the Obama-worshippers in the mainstream media think we who oppose Obama are an 'angry mob!'
This must be la-la land. What's good is called bad, and what's bad is called good.
Therefore, it is no wonder that in 2008 a large number of Americans are going to march into the polls like zombies and pull the lever for a radical, anti-American, neo-Communist who believes in infanticide and outlawing handguns in this country.
The social engineers of the 1960s planned this out from the beginning. You see, in order for revolution to occur, you don't need guns or violence. All you need is to take over the school system, dumb down the students by lowering standards, withhold information about the Constitution and the men who wrote it, brainwash them in the ways of Socialism/Communism, until one day in the future you have an entire generation of Americans who think it's absolutely splendid that a person with an ideology like Barack Obama runs for President.
That one day in the future is now.

What Is An 'Anti-American?'
An anonymous poster in the comments section of this blog took me to task over referring to former Democratic Presidential candidates George McGovern, Michael Dukakis, and John Kerry, and the present candidate Barack Obama, as anti-American.
I stand by the charge.
Thus, what is the definition of an 'anti-American?'
An anti-American is one whose political ideology is diametrically opposite of that which is embodied in the Constitution of the United States.
The Constitution is our final authority in all matters of law and governance.
Thus, one cannot be for robbing citizens of their right to own, bear, and use firearms for defense and protection, and then claim to uphold the U.S. Constitution. The two are mutually exclusive.
One cannot promote measures that limit free speech, free exercise of religion, a free press, or the freedom to assemble, and claim to uphold the U.S. Constitution. The two are blatantly incongruent.
And it really doesn't matter how much time such persons may have spent in the military. Some have even gone to war. While that is admirable, such acts of service to one's country do not automatically make them pro-American if they turn around and trash the Constitution in their political beliefs.
This is why in the United States of America one can be a true patriot even if they never served in the official, government-sanctioned military. And serving in that military does not automatically make one a patriot.
It is all about beliefs, ideology, political philosophy.
And this is precisely why I will fight tooth and toenail against those who self-righteously claim to be 'patriots' who love their country but who nonetheless work to rob citizens of their Constitutional rights, condone the killing of unborn infants and even those who survive attempts to kill them (this is barbarism every bit as dangerous as the Nazis and Communists), and who in the name of religion seek to steal from ordinary citizens through taxation to pay for programs that government has no business implementing in a free society.
In short, I don't give a damn what your military service has been if your views are more in line with Fidel Castro, Joseph Stalin, and Karl Marx than with Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, and Patrick Henry.
As the old saying goes, 'Just because a mouse gets into the cookie jar doesn't make him a cookie.'

LIAR! Putin Breaks 1-Day-Old Truce with Georgia
In less than 24-hours after agreeing to a cease-fire with the Georgian Republic which it had illegally invaded, the Russian Communists under the direction of Vladimir Putin broke the agreement by sending in the tanks and troops through a southern Georgian town, provoking violence.
Putin's actions are reminiscent of one Adolf Hitler, who, after signing a treaty with Chamberlain of Great Britain, promising to stop invading territory that wasn't his, proceeded to invade Poland before the ink had dried on the document.
Perhaps the words of CNN's Jack Cafferty in describing the Chi-Coms as 'the same old goons and thugs they've always been' also apply to Putin and the Kremlin.
A Commie is always a Commie. You can take him out of the old military uniforms worn by totalitarians of the past, dress him up in a nicely-tailored Western suit, have him smile and say nice things about 'human rights,' but in the end he is still a Commie who wants to take away your liberty.
And he certainly still wants to take over as much of the world as possible.

Comrades Raul and Hugo Strengthen Ties
When Cuban communist dictator Fidel Castro relinquished control of his regime into the hands of his brother Raul, many speculated that the transfer of power signified a new era of more freedom and fewer restrictions for the Cuban island.
As it turns out, nothing could be further from the truth.
Raul apparently is every bit the Communist hardliner that Fidel was.
Reuters News Service has released an analysis of the relationship between the new Cuban leader and Venezuelan communist dictator Hugo Chavez, and the news isn't good.
The two are quickly forging a stronger alliance as plans are made to team up in oil drilling in the Caribbean, even as the Congress in the U.S. under the Democrats continues to forbid offshore oil drilling by our own country in response to the current crisis in gasoline prices.
Cuba and Venezuela are having a field day in the region while the Americans are forced to live with ridiculous and irrational restrictions placed on our own ability to drill, as prescribed by the environmentalist movement and their mouthpieces in the Democratic Party such as Barack Obama, Al Gore, Nancy Pelosi, and Harry Reid.
In addition, Cuba and Venezuela are set to begin laying an under-the-sea cable that will enable the two countries to share Internet access.

FACT CHECK: Why Commies Are Evil
On this the day after 'May Day' during which Communists around the world march to celebrate their ideology, it is imperative to do a quick fact check.
To put it simply, Commies are evil.
For Communists to celebrate is every bit as twisted and demented as Nazis celebrating Jewish skeletons at Auschwitz.
This is not some friendly disagreement concerning ideology, such as the difference between a moderate Republican and a conservative one. This is about pure evil and the danger it poses to all of humanity.
Conservative estimates indicate that the number of murders directly linked to Communist regimes is at least 110 MILLION. Stalin had roughly 25-30 million of his own countrymen in the USSR slaughtered. When Communists took over China, another massive purge of Chinese, Tibetans, and others took place that would make Hitler's Holocaust pale in comparison.
In like manner, when the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia was unleashed after America refused to win in Southeast Asia, the slaughter of tens of millions of Cambodians ensued. History shows that the same thing happened all over the world when Communism came to power, from Cuba to Central America to North Korea.
And this is not to mention the murders that the USSR perpetrated against the citizens of Eastern Europe following Hitler's demise.
As with extremist Muslim terrorists, the Jihadists, Communists seize and hold power by force. Those who resist are killed.
Thus, Commies are every bit as evil and dangerous as Jihadists. Cold-blooded mass murderers by any name are a blight on humanity.
To put it simply, Commies are evil.
For Communists to celebrate is every bit as twisted and demented as Nazis celebrating Jewish skeletons at Auschwitz.
This is not some friendly disagreement concerning ideology, such as the difference between a moderate Republican and a conservative one. This is about pure evil and the danger it poses to all of humanity.
Conservative estimates indicate that the number of murders directly linked to Communist regimes is at least 110 MILLION. Stalin had roughly 25-30 million of his own countrymen in the USSR slaughtered. Keep a Suspicious Eye on China
Washington, DC (TLS). The news out of Washington today is that the Bush Administration is increasingly concerned about China's long-range missile capability. And well they should be.
For years China has been quietly but steadily building its military, munitions and weapons arsenals, including the capability of launching nuclear missiles that can hit the U.S. mainland.
While the Chinese have been busy building up their capability of waging nuclear war against America, we Americans have largely ignored such ominous clouds on the horizon in lieu of establishing corporate and business liaisons with the Communist giant, not only to pad our pockets but to supposedly weaken the totalitarian resolve of the Chinese by expanding capitalistic ventures within their borders.
The problem is that under the present unfair trade practices in the name of 'free trade,' the Chinese have made billions at the expense of Americans--billions that have then been used to continue expanding their military and nuclear capability.
In short, the Chinese have been using our willingness to engage in capitalistic ventures with them against us.
The result is that China is on the brink of becoming a true, bona fide super-power in every sense of the word, not just militarily but economically.
Thus far, the only thing keeping China from dominating the world stage as a super-power has been its lack of economic progress under the stifling effects of Communism. That has changed drastically. And they have done it by being willing to adopt a limited capitalistic economic model while steadfastly maintaining their Communist totalitarian philosophy.
Thus, Google can do business and flourish as a capitalistic venture in China, but they must keep the Chinese population in the dark about certain strains of political thought that could incite the citizenry to an uprising similar to the Tienanmen Square display.
The ominous result of this course of events is that the capitalism that China allows to flourish within its borders is then used to bolster and strengthen its basic governmental philosophy that the general population cannot be trusted and that the liberties of the people must continue to be restricted.
Not only that, but the bounty produced by the capitalistic model is used to continue to build itself into the largest and most dangerous totalitarian army in the world.
Although China has seen the light that only capitalism can produce wealth and prosperity, it has failed to embrace the underlying principles of liberty from which capitalism draws most of its vitality.
The result, unfortunately, is a significantly strengthened--and dangerous--super-power.
In dealing with China we cannot for one moment forget that they are still Communists. And with their growing military power, we must always keep the suspicious eye on them, regardless of our business connections with them.

Cuba Revisited
Washington, DC (TLS). Cuba has warned the United States against using the airwaves to send 'illegal' anti-Communist messages into the country. As one of the world's last remaining Communist dictatorships, the Cuban government is cracking down on citizens who use satellite dishes, which are illegal in Cuba, to gain access to American programming that contains messages of freedom and liberty.
In December of last year, the United States began using Florida television stations to get around the Cuban jamming of 'TV Marti,' the American owned station aimed at undermining the Communist Cuban government. The move by the U.S. government has made anti-Castro programming accessible to thousands of Cubans who otherwise would not be able to get it.
Under the U.S. plan implemented by the Bush administration, persons can pay commercial television stations in Florida to carry TV Marti programming, which by law cannot telecast anti-Cuban messages inside the U.S. These commercial stations are among those that can be picked up by satellite dishes inside Cuba.
The manufacturing and production of black market satellite dishes is a growing cottage industry in Cuba. Government officials have caught citizens operating satellite dish manufacturing and distribution centers out of bicycle tire repair shops and other small businesses that are among the few allowed by the Cuban government. Those caught engaging in this activity face fines and jail time. One Cuban citizen who was caught with 14 satellite dishes he had made was fined $44,390.
A bit of history is in order to fully understand the Cuban problem. Fidel Castro came to power in a Communist revolution in the country in the early 1960s. President John F. Kennedy purported to use the force of the U.S. military to prevent Castro from taking power. However, at the now-infamous debacle at the Bay of Pigs, Kennedy reneged on the promises he had made to provide U.S. military officials with reinforcements. Thus, our servicemen were left hanging on the vine with no help. The result was the fall of Cuba to the Communists, and Fidel Castro took power as the first Communist dictator within the Western Hemisphere to be right at the doorstep of the United States--a mere few miles from the Florida coast.
The consequence of Kennedy's striking failure was dire. The world was brought to the brink of nuclear war as the Cuban Missile Crisis loomed. The Communists of the USSR brought their backing to the new Cuban regime by bringing in nuclear missiles aimed directly at the United States. What most within modern America today fail to grasp, however, is that the entire scenario would have never happened had Kennedy kept his word to support the fledgling troops on the ground at the Bay of Pigs with reinforcements, back-up, added troop strength, and a replenishing of ammunition.
Kennedy's abject failure at the Bay of Pigs resulted in Communism coming right to our doorstep. We also came to within a hair's breadth of nuclear war.
It is most interesting that very few scholarly books have been published that delve into the murky reasons for Kennedy's failure to follow through with the plan, leaving our military personnel in a dangerous bind. Why would a Commander-in-Chief who had laid out a strategy for stopping Castro suddenly scrap that strategy after our soldiers had been sent into harm's way?
This is the million-dollar question. We do know, however, that Democrats have always had a cozy relationship with Castro. Bill Clinton rolled out the Red Carpet for him when the Communist dictator visited the United States in the 1990s. Dan Rather treated him like an elder statesman to be revered. Democrats have been calling for a normalization of relations with the Communist country for years.
Why?
According to a special report compiled by David Wallechinsky, Fidel Castro has been one of the most oppressive dictators in the world, regularly engaging in throwing journalists into jail, suppressing facts concerning his human rights violations, and the like. Last year, Castro was ranked Number 15 among the world's most oppressive dictators. The only reason he is not on this year's list is that he relinquished power to his brother in the wake of his life-threatening illness.
Miami, Florida is ample testimony to the carnage Castro has wreaked in Cuba. The Cuban-American community in Miami is the direct result of the rise of Communism in that nation. Seeking refuge here in the U.S., Cubans settled in Miami, many of whom still have family members back home. The Miami Cuban community is overwhelmingly anti-Castro, and for good reason. Most of them saw first-hand what Communism can do to a society.
The Bush Administration is to be commended for devising a strategy that allows anti-Communist programs to be telecast into Cuba. And for heaven's sake, we DO NOT need to normalize relations with this evil regime until it grants human rights to its citizens.
