It just keeps getting worse and worse for the Copenhagen/U.N. summit on 'climate change.'
The most vocal and visible proponent of the now debunked 'man-made global warming' theory has just been caught with his pants down at the Copenhagen Conference.
Read it all at Columbia Conservative Examiner.
Even the very climatologist that Gore quotes is publicly disputing what Gore told a gathering today in Copenhagen.

Hysterical Liberals Try to Sell Snake Oil Cures
The more we conservatives present the truth, the more entrenched liberals/progressives seem to become in their lies. They are even attempting to sell 'snake oil' cures to the public for the environment.
Hysterics such as Ma'am Barbara Boxer lead the way.

Czech President Takes On Goofy Algore
While most of the EU and American liberals such as Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, John McCain, and others seem to go goo-goo-gaaa-gaaa over Algore's science fiction on global warming, at least the Czech President is showing some chutzpah.
Czech President Vaclav Klaus, who is now President of the EU in its bi-annual rotation, blasted Gore for deliberately ignoring science that challenges his theory and suggested that the entire 'global warming' scare-tactic is designed to do nothing but serve as an excuse for more government control over people's lives and limit their choices.
This is precisely what Obama is set to do in the United States--force automakers to adhere to tough emissions and mpg standards, meaning that Americans will be forced into smaller, cramped vehicles that cost much more.
Instead of letting the market determine the types of vehicles that are manufactured, based upon consumer preferences, Obama would mandate what is manufactured and force consumers into vehicles that they may not buy if left to their own preferences.
All of this, of course, will be done in the name of 'saving the planet,' when the planet is quite capable of sustaining itself no matter what we do or don't do.
And, by the way, if the present trend continues, 2009 is on course to be the coldest in recorded history.

Projectile Balderdash from Al Gore
Is it just me, or does it seem that every time Al Gore (known to millions of conservatives as simply 'algore' via Rush Limbaugh) opens his mouth he hurls projectile balderdash that defies reason?
The latest memorable quote from algore involves, of course, 'global warming.' After all, it seems the only thing Al talks about anymore is 'global warming.'
Al's latest trip into the realm of psychotic verbiage is his most outlandish yet. He says that not believing in 'global warming' is like saying the earth is flat.
That's funny, because I have been saying all along that the 'global warming' alarmists should join the Flat Earth Society due to their refusal to deal with ALL of the observable data and their rush to accept data that is skewed.
This is of utmost importance in this year's political battle, given that many Democrats are so fed up to the hilt with Hillary and Obama that many of them would accept a ring-tailed baboon as their candidate rather than support either of them.
This is not to say that I think McCain is a ring-tailed baboon, since he has been the beneficiary of the Democrats' woes.
Frankly, Americans are beginning to realize that they really like McCain and really dislike both Hillary and Obama.
Enter Al Gore.
The problem with Gore is that despite winning the popular vote in 2000 (but losing the Electoral Vote) he could not manage a clear, decisive victory in spite of the fact that he had been Vice-President for 8 years.
Further, the Gore record is a trainwreck to most average Americans. He is a rabid anti-gun enthusiast, despite being from Tennessee. He, like Obama and Hillary, believes that government and higher taxes are the solution to all of America's ills.
And let's not forget that should Americans accept his diagnosis and prescription for 'global warming,' it would mean an immediate and draconian change for our way of life from top to bottom.
The government would essentially be telling us what to drive, IF they allow us to drive, what temperature on which to set our thermostats (which may even possibly be centrally controlled by government), and a thousand and one other ways to totally dominate our lives and take away our choices as free citizens.
America needs Al Gore about as much as it needs Obama or Hillary.

Democrats Surging for McCain?
The latest Gallup poll shows that:
22% of Democrats want Hillary to drop out of the race.
22% want Obama to drop out of the race.
Upwards of 40% of Democrats either already support McCain or would support him if either Hillary or Obama loses to the other.
Does this mean that potentially a move could be set into motion to draft Algore?
Bring him on. He couldn't even win his home state of Tennessee in 2000.

RFK Jr. Goes Neanderthal at 'Live Earth'
Washington, DC (TLS). Al Gore's 'Live Earth' concerts didn't exactly set the woods on fire in terms of creating a massive, world-wide groundswell of support for his erroneous hypothesis about global warming. Response to the shindig was mixed, and even green-friendly places like Great Britain referred to the event as 'dull.'
Yet there was at least one moment of excitement when Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. went neanderthal in a rampage against politicians in Washington who express doubt about Gore's spin on the cause of climate change and what to do about it.
Like a bull in a china shop, RFK Jr. referred to those who disagree with the Gore hypothesis as 'traitors.' Here are his exact words:
'Get rid of all these rotten politicians that we have in Washington, who are nothing more than corporate toadies. This is treason. And we need to start treating them as traitors.'
The environmentalist activist and son of the late Senator Robert F. Kennedy grew hoarse from shouting the tirade.
Someone obviously needs to inform Junior that just because one happens to disagree with the hypothesis that mankind is responsible for global warming does not make one a 'traitor.'
As we have reported many times on The Liberty Sphere, the mass of scientific evidence indicates that Gore and his hypothesis are wrong. That makes the entire 'environmentalist movement' wrong.
One can have a healthy concern for the environment without being part of an overtly political 'environmentalist movement' which is nothing more than a front-group for a gang of Socialists who wish to destroy human liberty, freedom of choice, free markets, and American capitalism.
If the movement can convince the majority of Americans that human beings are singularly responsible for climate change, which goes against every known, verifiable scientific fact, then they can also convince gullible Americans that nothing less than a massive change in our way of life, our economic system, and even our form of government is necessary to 'stop global warming.'
The geological record contains ample proof that human beings really can't do a damn thing to stop the planet from undergoing its regular, cyclical changes in climate that fluctuate between warm and cool, and at various points in between, even at times tilting toward extreme conditions such as we found during the Ice Age.
If modern, industrialized mankind is the single biggest source of global warming, then how, pray tell, did the earth emerge from the last Ice Age? There was certainly no burning of fossil fuels at the time. There was no man-made pollution of any kind.
Yet the ice receded so dramatically that what was once an ice-covered frozen wasteland, held captive by a mega-deep freeze, gradually became a human-friendly environment with a moderate climate.
And let's not forget that the Middle Ages were significantly warmer than the present climate. What, exactly, contributed to the gradual cooling that has occurred since then?
With all of our global warming hysteria, the earth is still much cooler than the days when Greenland was exactly as the name denotes--a green land that was lush with plant life and a moderate climate.
Sorry, Junior, but you and your buddy Al Gore simply don't have your facts straight. And, it is obvious that your outburst at Live Earth was an example of the old adage, 'If you can't win a debate with the facts and logic, go ape.'

Al Gore Takes a Beating from a Scientist
Washington, DC (TLS). Conventional wisdom has maintained that Hillary Clinton will be the nominee of the Democratic Party to run in the 2008 Presidential election. Conventional wisdom has also maintained that Al Gore's stranglehold on the environmental issue is fast and secure.
So who still believes in conventional wisdom, anyway?
Certainly the Clintons believe that the Democratic nomination is rightfully hers and that the 2008 Democratic convention is nothing more than a coronation. Party loyalists and the elite old guard also believe that she will be the nominee.
And I don't really doubt them that much. In fact, this is the most likely scenario.
Yet, her securing the nomination is not yet in the bag. Hillary faces some landmines that have surfaced at a very inopportune moment in her rise to fulfill a lifelong dream. First, her negatives are actually growing in the polls, not abating. She is not perceived positively by a majority of the electorate, and a new poll suggests that at least 50% of likely voters state that they will NOT vote for her.
Such bad news is sure to create some nervousness on the part of Party operatives. They may well turn to someone else if Hillary's negatives continue to dog her campaign.
Second, Hillary faces a potential bombshell of a scandal involving illegal activity on the part of both Clintons. The centerpiece of the scandal is a videotape that shows the Clintons committing felonies with regard to receiving illegal contributions and making underhanded deals.
If she is indicted and goes to trial, she can kiss her political aspirations good-bye.
Enter Al Gore.
Gore has been waiting in the wings for an opportunity to take center stage and supposedly recapture what he has always considered his since 2000--the Presidency.
Should Hillary falter, it is a near-certainty that the Democrats will NOT turn to Barack Obama, since his polls numbers have plummeted faster than the speed of sound. Edwards has fared even worse. And none of the other Democratic candidates appear to be catching on.
Thus, Al Gore would be the Party's tenured star waiting in the wings to save the day...except the problem is that Gore is facing his own set of problems.
By making global warming the centerpiece of his public discourse over the past few years, Gore has thrown himself lock, stock, and barrel into the 'environmentalist movement'--which is actually a political movement that uses environmental issues to push an ideological agenda.
Gore has bought the propaganda of the movement without question--that mankind is to blame for global warming and that the only way to 'fix' it is to enact sweeping policy changes in society that will reflect a collectivist rather than a free market set of values.
In short, personal freedom of choice will suffer. Free market capitalism will be smashed. The only way the planet can be saved from the exceedingly wicked human beings who have trashed it and caused it to warm up is to put severe restrictions on those sinister human beings and their behavior in commerce and free enterprise.
The truth of the matter is that Al Gore is only listening to SOME of the scientists.
As we have repeatedly shown in countless articles on The Liberty Sphere, the scientific community is far from unanimous on the issue. In fact, with each passing month new evidence emerges that strongly suggests that the 'Al Gore hypothesis' which was born out of the environmentalist movement is totally wrong.
Americans are increasingly waking up to the scam. A poll just this week found that over 70% of Americans now believe that climate change is a naturally occurring phenomenon and not primarily a result of human activity.
The hard science supports their belief.
One scientist in particular has some sharp words for Mr. Gore and his film, 'An Inconvenient Truth.' Many of the assertions made by Mr. Gore and the film have been shown to be false. And this could spell real trouble for the Democrats in 2008 if they turn to Gore as their nominee.

Al Gore's Duplicity (Video)
Washington, DC (TLS). Do you find it just as odd as I do that Democrats are prone to take 180-degree turns at the drop of a hat?
Take Al Gore, for example.
Today, you would think, to hear him talk, that he has always been a staunch anti-war advocate when it comes to Iran, Iraq, and the Middle East.
Well, a video has been found from few years back where Mr. Gore is deriding Bush, Sr. for not taking a strong enough stand against...Saddam Hussein!
You absolutely MUST see this video. If ever there is any proof of the demagoguery of Democrats, this is it.

Hey Obama, Hillary, Gore--WHERE'S THE BEEF?
Washington, DC (TLS). The mantra of the Democrats as we head toward the 2008 election cycle is that 'America has lost the support and respect of the entire world.'
Oh yeah?
Not anymore.
First it was Germany who saw the error of her ways and elected a U.S.-friendly leader. 'Angie' as she is called, is very popular in her country as well. Apparently the rank and file of the German electorate did not view America and George W. Bush with disdain.
Now it is France's turn. The new French President is decidedly pro-American, and the French have even joined the U.S. in filing a complaint against the International Atomic Energy Agency.
Such a thing would have been unheard of under the ethically-challenged Jacques Chirac.
So amazing is the new support in Europe for America that 'Atlas Shrugs' says that pigs are now flying! Read it here:

More on the Global Warming Heresy
Washington, DC (TLS). With factual scientific information pointing to the indisputable truth that in the year 1000 A.D. the earth was much warmer than it is now (despite the noticeable lack of SUVs) and that most of the warming of the 20th century occurred before 1940, it is clear that the 'mankind-is-to-blame-for-global-warming' movement is a hoax, a heresy, a lie.
Our favorite intellectual, Dr. Walter Williams, lays it on the line concerning the blatant heresies of the global warming movement and sets the record straight.
Al Gore is completely and unequivocally discredited.

Katie Couric, Al Gore, and the 'Greens'
Washington, DC (TLS). An unexpected turn has been taken by The Liberty Sphere of late, as we have inadvertently discovered just how deep and systemic is the Leftist slant and outright bias of Katie Couric and CBS News. The Liberty Sphere was the first to blow the whistle on Couric and CBS's outright dishonest news reporting concerning a poll that supposedly showed a 53% majority of Americans that either want to withdraw funding from the War in Iraq or deny funds for the troop surge.
As we pointed out, Couric and CBS, using a deceptive slight-of-hand maneuver with the poll numbers, twisted the results to say something they actually did not say at all.
Since that episode of the Couric propaganda fiction report on CBS, The Liberty Sphere has been watching the program very closely for more instances of Liberal bias.
We found it yet again on Monday evening.
Couric's lead story Monday evening was the buy-out of a Texas coal mining company by a corporation known for its 'green' sensitivity. Supposedly this was earth-shattering news, in a manner of speaking, since this is reportedly the first time an environmentalist-friendly company has bought out one of the dark, evil, and sinister companies that produce energy, heat, and cooling for most Americans by the use of fossil fuels.
The dreaded fossil fuels, of course, are the main reason the earth is warming, according to the Leftist propaganda of extremist environmentalist activists who wish to dismantle American free enterprise, capitalism, and individual freedom in the name of 'saving the environment.'
No matter that most of the good science that is based upon actual observable fact and a non-biased approach to considering the earth's climate history show no such thing.
Yet here again is Couric and CBS spouting their slanted 'news' in favor of those propagandists who wish to lay the blame for global warming squarely at the feet of mankind, so that government can then launch the single biggest attack on human freedom in the history of the world.
But this was not enough.
Couric's second story of the evening piggy-backed on the lead story about the Texas buy-out. This story, not surprisingly, focused upon Al Gore's environmentalist extremist film and its selection to receive an Academy Award on Sunday evening. The film was not selected as best motion picture, and yet, it merited a prime spot on Couric's show.
No mention was made of the film that won best picture.
Gore's hook, line, and sinker approach to the 'man-is-to-blame-for-global-warming' mantra has earned him the accolades of Hollywood, the European Union, Socialists, Communists, and every other nut-case on the planet who would love to impose their brave new world on American society and rob the citizens of liberty. It is no wonder, therefore, that one of Gore's comrades at arms in this siege, i.e. Katie Couric, would give him prime billing as the second story of the night on Monday evening's news broadcast.
I am sure that billionaire atheist and Democrat operative George Soros was very proud.
The Liberty Sphere will continue to monitor Couric's reports at CBS. We may even launch this as a regular feature of The Liberty Sphere and call it 'the Couric Watch.' Our intent is not simply to inform our readers about the spin doctors at CBS News but to underscore and attempt to understand this fascinating phenomenon--the thorough indoctrination of the public by a major news organization.
So stay tuned. There will be much more to come.
