ATTENTION, BARACK OBAMA AND AL GORE!
To Mr. Obama and Mr. Gore,
I hate to break it to ya, guys, but a London newspaper has outed you for your ruse on global warming!
2008--The Year Man-Made Global Warming Was Disproved
The really smart people of the world know this already. So why are you two still spouting the old politically correct scare tactic that the earth is getting ready to implode unless we allow government to tell us what to drive, eat, wear, and live in?
Get over it already. We ain't listening anymore.
Sincerely,
The Liberty Sphere

Projectile Balderdash from Al Gore
Is it just me, or does it seem that every time Al Gore (known to millions of conservatives as simply 'algore' via Rush Limbaugh) opens his mouth he hurls projectile balderdash that defies reason?
The latest memorable quote from algore involves, of course, 'global warming.' After all, it seems the only thing Al talks about anymore is 'global warming.'
Al's latest trip into the realm of psychotic verbiage is his most outlandish yet. He says that not believing in 'global warming' is like saying the earth is flat.
That's funny, because I have been saying all along that the 'global warming' alarmists should join the Flat Earth Society due to their refusal to deal with ALL of the observable data and their rush to accept data that is skewed.
This is of utmost importance in this year's political battle, given that many Democrats are so fed up to the hilt with Hillary and Obama that many of them would accept a ring-tailed baboon as their candidate rather than support either of them.
This is not to say that I think McCain is a ring-tailed baboon, since he has been the beneficiary of the Democrats' woes.
Frankly, Americans are beginning to realize that they really like McCain and really dislike both Hillary and Obama.
Enter Al Gore.
The problem with Gore is that despite winning the popular vote in 2000 (but losing the Electoral Vote) he could not manage a clear, decisive victory in spite of the fact that he had been Vice-President for 8 years.
Further, the Gore record is a trainwreck to most average Americans. He is a rabid anti-gun enthusiast, despite being from Tennessee. He, like Obama and Hillary, believes that government and higher taxes are the solution to all of America's ills.
And let's not forget that should Americans accept his diagnosis and prescription for 'global warming,' it would mean an immediate and draconian change for our way of life from top to bottom.
The government would essentially be telling us what to drive, IF they allow us to drive, what temperature on which to set our thermostats (which may even possibly be centrally controlled by government), and a thousand and one other ways to totally dominate our lives and take away our choices as free citizens.
America needs Al Gore about as much as it needs Obama or Hillary.

Notes From Here and There
In just three days the Iowa Caucuses will kick off the 2008 Presidential campaigns in earnest. Polls have been all over the board in both Parties. In fact, voter preferences have been so fluid that we think it is fairly impossible to predict who will win on either side.
Although he is in 3rd place, Fred Thompson has a chance to pull an upset. He is within striking distance of front runner Mike Huckabee, and the money Thompson raised during his two-day blogburst blitz last week will mean he can inundate the state with a barrage of TV and radio ads in the last three days of campaigning.
This could make a huge difference.
On the Democratic side some observers indicate that Barack Obama has begun to lose some of his luster, despite Oprah Winfrey's 'Barack and Oprah Road Show.' Nonetheless, there is also widespread discontent with Hillary. Does this mean that John Edwards is the beneficiary?
This is hard to say. We do not see Edwards winning any primaries, but we have been proved wrong before.
Pakistani officials now claim that popular opposition leader Benazir Bhutto was not killed by bullets but by a severe bump to the head. Apparently the shots that rang out missed the charismatic Bhutto but rattled the vehicle in which she was traveling. When she attempted to duck back inside the vehicle she sustained blunt-force trauma to the head, resulting in death.
Nonetheless, Pakistani officials also claim they know who was behind the assassination.
A pro-Taliban leader with connections to Al Qaeda, who resides in the lawless tribal section of Pakistan where terrorists have found safe haven, was quoted from a document obtained by the Interior Ministry as congratulating the assassins for a 'job well-done.'
Baitullah Mehsud is suspected for perpetrating the attacks and is implicated in a series of other terrorist attacks within Pakistan.
In addition, there are widespread reports of violence and unrest throughout Pakistan in the wake of the funeral of Bhutto.
The Baltimore Chronicle suggested this week on its op-ed page that a global warming catastrophe could rid the world of conservatives. As areas in the Southeast, the Deep South, the Southwest, and the Great Plains States are devastated by rising temperatures, residents will be forced out, supposedly to take haven in the cooler areas of the northeast and Great Lakes region, which somehow will be spared the doom.
It is then, as the writer suggests, that these conservatives should be forced to endure sub-citizen status and not allowed to participate in the political process, 'due to their hate-filled and single-minded desire to do nothing about global warming.'
The writer hails this as a wonderful thing.
But apparently neither the writer nor the Chronicle have been reading the template of their own movement. According to the script followed by the Algore people and the more militant global warming proponents, the end result of global warming will not be unendurable heat but a massive ice age caused by gigantic, hurricane-like storms that will engulf the entire planet, which will catapult the Earth into a devastating ice age.
These storms, which will be fueled by the warmer air, will have the net result of ridding the Earth of the warmer air, plunging temperatures into danger zones like the planet has never seen since the last Ice Age. Thus, those who survive will be forced South.
Just think, the pompous-assed northeasterners and Great Lakes elitists will be forced into territory where Bubbas love their guns and dislike Yankee liberals. I don't think I would be mouthing off about how you plan to punish Bubba if he is forced up into your area. He just may have a few surprises of his own waiting for you when you get here to thaw out of the deep freeze.

Second Amendment News Roundup for 12/14/07
Focusing on guns and politics, here is today's Second Amendment News Roundup:
John Lott says that a lot is at stake in the next election regarding global warming, particularly in light of the fact that most of the reliable science has totally debunked the theory. But the environmentalist wackos will still try to use the issue to take tax dollars, change our way of life, and restrict our freedoms:

Another Nail in Coffin of Global Warming Fanaticism
Let's cut to the chase for a moment--the most ardent supporters of the flawed theory of 'global warming' are fanatics who care little about science. Their concern is purely political.
Convince the masses that the sky is falling and that it is our fault, and perhaps they will buy into the dubious and dangerous prescriptions for the cure offered by the fanatics in the environmentalist movement.
These prescriptions, of course, mandate control of human behavior as do all totalitarian-communistic solutions to problems. We must, we are told, stop using fossil fuels, live in cramped quarters that use little energy, and stop having babies which only turn into vicious monsters whose carbon output destroys the planet.
The most hardened of the fanatics are even promoting having abortions to 'save the planet.'
Science, however, continues to march forward, proving that such alarmists are simply engaging in hysterics.
First, we discovered that an increase in carbon is the result of and not the cause of global warming. There have been periods during the earth's vast history during which carbon in the atmosphere rose to unusually high levels, following periods of warming.
The problem is that these epochs of time occurred long before human beings inhabited the planet. Thus, there was no burning of fossil fuels, no vehicles spewing poisonous fumes into the air, and no human babies being born to contaminate the 'pristine' conditions of earth.
So much for THAT part of the theory.
Second, we discovered that NASA's computers had made a mistake concerning the warmest years of the 20th century and that it was actually the 1930s that were the warmest on record rather than the 1990s.
And third, we are now being told by scientists that the latest figures from U.S. satellites show that surface temperatures have FALLEN since 1998, and in 2007 these temperatures declined to their 1983 levels.
Thus, 2007 has been the coolest year on record since 1983.
Hear those thumping noises? That is the sound of the nails going into the coffin of the environmentalist movement's trumped up scheme on global warming. The problem is that the fanatics don't yet know that it is dead. So, they are still spouting their extremist fear-mongering.

If They Can't Predict Hurricanes, How Can They Predict Climate?
For two years in a row, hurricane forecasters have totally missed the mark on predicting the number of storms and their intensity. In fact, this year is on the mark toward becoming the most inactive hurricane season in 30 years.
The last time the Atlantic basin was this quiet was in 1977.
Of course, we still have a month to go in this year's hurricane season. Things could always change, but realistically such a thing is highly unlikely this late in the year.
In addition, have you noticed that the National Hurricane Center has begun naming storms that do not become hurricanes? Time was that only hurricanes were named. Thus, using today's methodology the number of named storms is higher than normal. This is due to the number of tropical storms that did not reach hurricane strength.
According to Algore, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., and others in the political movement known as 'the environmentalist movement,' the last two years should have been two of the most active hurricane seasons on record, due to the effects of 'global warming.'
The standard wisdom of the 'politically correct' environmentalists is that global warming would result in more hurricanes with higher intensity. Of course, for the past two years that prediction has totally missed the mark.
The result has been a devastating drought that has brought severe water shortages in the southeastern and southern states.
The obvious question that arises to the surface in the midst of these embarrassing erroneous predictions is, if forecasters can't accurately predict a hurricane season a couple of months prior to June, then how can they be trusted to predict the future climate of the planet years or decades from now?
One more nail in the coffin of the environmental alarmists is the latest NASA satellite imagery from space, which shows that the ozone hole over Antarctica has almost returned to normal. This means that the planet has been basically healing itself of the destructive effects of ozone over the Antarctic region.
For a full comparative analysis of hurricane predictions and the actual storms that occurred over the last few years, click here:

Chilly Neptune Experiences Global Warming
First we were alerted to the fact that global warming is occurring on Mars. Now comes the news today that the planet Neptune, one of the coldest planets in the solar system, is experiencing some global warming of its own.
According to astronomers, Neptune's southern pole is heating up to 40 degrees warmer than the rest of the planet.
Obviously greenhouse gases are to blame. After all, the leftist political movement known as 'the environmentalist movement' has blamed man-made carbon-based greenhouse gases for the climate change observed on earth.
But there are no greenhouse gases on Neptune. So what on earth...err, Neptune...could be the cause of such warming?
The sun.
You guessed it. That big yellow ball that provides the vast majority of the heat experienced in our solar system is the cause of Neptune's warming at its southern tip.
Apparently Neptune's 'antarctic summer' lasts for 40 years as the southern tip of the planet faces the sun. This produces a dramatic increase in temperatures, even that far away in the solar system.
A 40-degree hike in temps is nothing to sneeze at. For example, if Antarctica were to experience a 40-degree hike in temps during its summer season, we truly would be facing a major, worldwide catastrophic event.
Just be glad you are not on Neptune to warm up at its southern tip. With average temperatures on the planet hovering at around 350 degrees below zero, a 40-degree warm up will still not be enough to keep you from going into the deep freeze.

'Hot' News: Earth Colder Than Expected
The latest news scoop concerning global warming is really hot. Earth is colder than expected. NASA scientists have admitted to a mistake which led to their conclusion that the last decade was the hottest on record.
Never mind that the scientists at NASA quietly corrected the mistake, which now makes the 1930s the hottest on record. You would never know about the mistake or its correction if you depend solely upon the mainstream media for your news.
The fact that an error led to the current hysteria in the media and in certain sectors of the scientific community is no big deal when you have a propaganda machine to run.
However, it is no small consequence that the data that many scientists, politicians, and mainstream media talking heads used to justify their fear-mongering on climate change is entirely wrong. In fact, the corrected information will nearly kill the 'man-is-to-blame-for-global-warming' bandwagon, except for the most die-hard of ideologues.
An overwhelming majority of Americans, 70% to be exact, already believe that climate change is a naturally occurring phenomenon rather than man-made. As the news gets around that the entire basis for the hysteria over global warming is erroneous, that percentage will likely rise to over 90%.
No matter what the facts prove in any realm of human endeavor, we can always depend on about 5-10% who make up the fringe-element of society to discount those facts.
The problem at NASA began with a Y2K bug in the computer program in 2000. The bug caused a widespread bump in temperature readings, leading scientists to conclude that the year 1998 was the hottest on record.
When scientists corrected the problem and ran the data without the bug in the program, an entirely new scenario presented itself. The 1930s had three of the hottest years on record, and the year 1934 now holds the title for being the warmest on record.
But here is the most damning news of all for the global warming fear-mongers. Five (5) of the 10 hottest temperatures on record were recorded BEFORE WWII. This means that the first 40 years of the 20th century produced 5 of the 10 hottest temperatures on record.
Michael Asher of DailyTech has this to say about the updated information: 'The effect of the correction on global temperatures is minor (some 1-2% less warming than originally thought), but the effect on the US global warming propaganda machine could be huge.
'Then again– maybe not. I strongly suspect this story will receive little to no attention from the mainstream media.'
Some would claim that 1-2% cooler temperatures than we originally thought is a minor, almost negligible change.
Not so fast!
Climate 'experts' who have called us 'Holocaust deniers' in their attempts to browbeat skeptics into submission have insisted from the beginning that even the slightest upward move of average global temperatures is enough to sound the alarm.
One then begins to wonder that if such a slight percentage of warming is enough to sound the alarm, then new information that shows we are actually 1-2% cooler than we thought would be enough to turn OFF the alarm.
Not when you have a vested interest in destroying American liberty, free enterprise, and free consumer choice in order to usher in an era of government control over our behavior.
The erroneous data of NASA played right into the hands of extremist environmentalists who wish to change American society from top to bottom. It is highly doubtful that a correction of the erroneous data will change anything at all about a movement that is entirely political rather than scientific.
The usual suspects such as Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and Ralph Nader, along with their co-conspirators in the leftwing fringe of the scientific community, will continue to attempt to scare Americans into changing their behavior 'in order to save the planet from man-made global warming.'
The 'Flat-Earth Society,' to be sure, will gladly welcome the entire lot into their ranks.

RFK Jr. Continues Smear Tactics
Washington, DC (TLS). Robert F. Kennedy Jr. appeared on Neil Cavuto's afternoon program on Fox News today and didn't miss a beat in continuing his smear tactics against those who disagree with his hypothesis that human beings have caused climate change.
Carefully skirting around questions about his use of the words 'treason' and 'traitors' at Al Gore's Live Earth concert last week, Kennedy attempted to place the focus on Exxon Oil rather than politicians.
He also deftly refused to answer a remark by Cavuto that Kennedy has done business with Venezuelan Communist dictator Hugo Chavez. While castigating American oil companies for their 'evil desecration' of the environment, Kennedy not surprisingly gave a pass to his buddy Chavez, although the Venezuelan Communist's oil ventures pollute the planet more than any American enterprise.
Chavez operates under NO regulations that prevent pollution. American companies, however, must comply with endless federal regulations about such matters.
But of course, in Kennedy's world-view, polluting the planet is not evil as long as a Commie does it. American capitalism must always be vilified as the bad guy, no matter what anybody else does.
As one of Kennedy's frequent targets on various issues, ABC's John Stossel appeared briefly at the end of the JFK Jr. segment on Cavuto's program today. Kennedy repeatedly referred to Stossel as a 'liar,' and continued with his attempt to get advertisers to boycott Stossel over his refusal to accept the erroneous hypothesis that mankind caused global warming.
But perhaps the most ridiculous statement made by Kennedy on today's program was his assertion that merely visiting the Arctic Region and noting how the glaciers have receded is enough to prove evil human beings perpetrated global warming.
Ok, Junior. Here's one to put into that pimple-sized brain of yours. Suppose we all had lived at the end of the last Ice Age. I suppose that you in your almighty wisdom would assert that one only need look at North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, and other states northward to see that since the ice shelf has receded to the point that one can actually plant vegetables in those states, human beings must somehow be responsible for the shrinking of the ice.
After all, all you have to do to prove human beings are evil perpetrators is to visit areas where once there was nothing but a frozen wasteland--such as Iowa.
Sorry, Junior. But once again your appearance in public has done nothing but further solidify the impression on the part of most thinking Americans that you are not in full possession of your faculties.

RFK Jr. Goes Neanderthal at 'Live Earth'
Washington, DC (TLS). Al Gore's 'Live Earth' concerts didn't exactly set the woods on fire in terms of creating a massive, world-wide groundswell of support for his erroneous hypothesis about global warming. Response to the shindig was mixed, and even green-friendly places like Great Britain referred to the event as 'dull.'
Yet there was at least one moment of excitement when Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. went neanderthal in a rampage against politicians in Washington who express doubt about Gore's spin on the cause of climate change and what to do about it.
Like a bull in a china shop, RFK Jr. referred to those who disagree with the Gore hypothesis as 'traitors.' Here are his exact words:
'Get rid of all these rotten politicians that we have in Washington, who are nothing more than corporate toadies. This is treason. And we need to start treating them as traitors.'
The environmentalist activist and son of the late Senator Robert F. Kennedy grew hoarse from shouting the tirade.
Someone obviously needs to inform Junior that just because one happens to disagree with the hypothesis that mankind is responsible for global warming does not make one a 'traitor.'
As we have reported many times on The Liberty Sphere, the mass of scientific evidence indicates that Gore and his hypothesis are wrong. That makes the entire 'environmentalist movement' wrong.
One can have a healthy concern for the environment without being part of an overtly political 'environmentalist movement' which is nothing more than a front-group for a gang of Socialists who wish to destroy human liberty, freedom of choice, free markets, and American capitalism.
If the movement can convince the majority of Americans that human beings are singularly responsible for climate change, which goes against every known, verifiable scientific fact, then they can also convince gullible Americans that nothing less than a massive change in our way of life, our economic system, and even our form of government is necessary to 'stop global warming.'
The geological record contains ample proof that human beings really can't do a damn thing to stop the planet from undergoing its regular, cyclical changes in climate that fluctuate between warm and cool, and at various points in between, even at times tilting toward extreme conditions such as we found during the Ice Age.
If modern, industrialized mankind is the single biggest source of global warming, then how, pray tell, did the earth emerge from the last Ice Age? There was certainly no burning of fossil fuels at the time. There was no man-made pollution of any kind.
Yet the ice receded so dramatically that what was once an ice-covered frozen wasteland, held captive by a mega-deep freeze, gradually became a human-friendly environment with a moderate climate.
And let's not forget that the Middle Ages were significantly warmer than the present climate. What, exactly, contributed to the gradual cooling that has occurred since then?
With all of our global warming hysteria, the earth is still much cooler than the days when Greenland was exactly as the name denotes--a green land that was lush with plant life and a moderate climate.
Sorry, Junior, but you and your buddy Al Gore simply don't have your facts straight. And, it is obvious that your outburst at Live Earth was an example of the old adage, 'If you can't win a debate with the facts and logic, go ape.'

Climate Expert: Global COOLING On the Way!
Washington, DC (TLS). A noted climate expert, R. Timothy Patterson, professor and director of the Ottawa-Carleton Geoscience Centre, Department of Earth Sciences, Carleton University, states that the world should be getting ready for global COOLING, not warming.
Patterson bases his conclusions upon extensive research on sun spots and the evidence of their consequences in the core samples of the mud off the Canadian coast in the Western Canadian fjords.
According to Patterson, all the evidence points to a period of drastic global cooling in roughly 12 years, but we need to begin preparing now.

Global Warming Debate Over Carbon Dioxide
Washington, DC (TLS). A key element in the debate over the cause of global warming is the carbon dioxide issue. Doomsday alarmists of the 'consensus' scientists, who maintain mankind is the cause, point to carbon data as proof that what we are putting into the air has caused temperatures to rise.
'Scientists' of this ilk are behind Al Gore's new movie, which I understand has become required viewing in some colleges for graduation, and is being shown in class after class--sometimes forcing students to see it four times in one day in a variety of classes--in high schools.
The propaganda machine is hard at work attempting to indoctrinate the young that mankind is responsible for global warming and that the carbon we put in the air causes temps to rise.
Hard science, i.e., the study of actual verifiable data, shows otherwise.
Scientists who look at the facts and let the facts dictate their policy proposals, rather than allowing their policy bias to dictate how they view science, state that a rise in carbon is a direct RESULT of rising temperatures and NOT the CAUSE of it.
In short, most reliable and honest scientists know that a rise in carbon does not cause a rise in temperatures, but a rise in temperatures causes a rise in carbon dioxide.
This fact is proved in the geological record. During those periods of the earth's history when the planet has been at its warmest, the presence of carbon dioxide is at very high levels. Yet this was long before current lifeforms were even on the planet. There were no man-made emissions going into the atmosphere to cause such a rise in carbon.
Long after Man appeared on the earth, during those cyclical periods when the temperatures rose significantly, we also see a rise in the amount of carbon. Yet these periods in human history pre-date the industrial era. Once again, there were no man-made emissions going into the atmosphere.
Thus, the observable data proves that rising temperatures cause a concomitant rise in carbon. There is to date NO valid historical scientific data that remotely suggests that a rise in carbon creates a rise in temperatures.
The 'consensus scientists,' therefore, have it exactly backwards.

A Liberty Sphere Classic on Global Warming
Washington, DC (TLS). The following is a reprint of a Liberty Sphere classic from November of 2006. It is a treatise on global warming and the political implications of the belief that mankind is to blame for climate change.
In anticipation of Glenn Beck's expose of the environmentalist movement's grand hoax this evening on the Headline News Network, I decided to post this Liberty Sphere classic for your consideration.
'HOW ENVIRONMENTALISTS CONSORT TO DESTROY AMERICAN FREE ENTERPRISE'
by D. Martyn Lloyd-Morgan
The responsible stewardship of the environment is not up for debate in modern times. Every responsible, thinking person is forced to consider the world around us and the impact the activity of man has upon the earth's ability to sustain and renew life. The debate, therefore, centers upon one single issue--globing warming and its cause.
Global warming itself is not really the issue at all. It is a fact. In the earth's long and sometimes violent history, there have been patterns of warming and cooling that run in cycles, usually in response to the sun's activity. As the sun increases in volatility with solar storms, the impact on earth is quite predictable. Earth's temperatures increase.
For example, during the Middle Ages, long before the burning of fossil fuels, the earth experienced a warming that is well-documented among feudal societies where written descriptions of the climate are preserved from the era. In reading those documents we are struck by the descriptions of various writers who describe warm temperatures in areas that are generally known for the cold.
During the modern industrial era, however, particularly at its infancy in the 18th and 19th centuries, we see descriptions of a much cooler climate than that of the Middle Ages. In fact, there was a mini ice age that occurred early on during the period where unusual cold and snowfalls were described by novelists and historians.
These periods of global cooling occur simultaneously with a leveling out of the sun's activity. As solar storms decrease, the earth responds by a cooling of global temperatures.
Presently we are in the midst of an increase in the sun's activity. This activity has been documented for quite some time, resulting in a slight but observable increase in the earth's temperatures.
Thus, the issue of global warming is not up for debate. It is a fact at present, just as it has been a fact many times throughout the cyclical life of the planet. The debate centers on man's role, if any, in the warming that is occurring.
The 'environmentalist movement' has come down on the side of man's culpability in the warming of the earth's temperatures. With a dogmatism that would put Medieval Catholicism to shame, those who belong to the movement insist, adamantly, that the blame for global warming lies squarely with human beings. Human activity, according to the environmentalist dogma, is the single largest contributor to the increase of the earth's temperatures, and thus, steps must be taken to curb man's activity.
The activity in question, of course, is free enterprise, capitalistic industrialism, and entrepreneurship that supposedly 'rapes the precious environment.' This, according to the High Priests and Priestesses of the movement, must be stopped cold.
At the opposite side of the spectrum lies conservatives, libertarians, and those who adhere strictly to 'hard science.' It isn't that these persons deny the possibility of global warming, or global cooling either, for that matter. Rather, these persons question man's contribution to the process. They are not convinced that human activity has much of an impact one way or the other on changes in the earth's temperatures.
Hard science definitely appears to confirm the notion of the latter group of persons.
Take the example of the mammoths in the North Pole region of the earth. Millions of years ago it is clear that the polar region was warm, blooming with plant life, and inhabited by life forms that fed on the plants that were abundant in the region. Hard science proves that this was the case.
Scientists discovered large mammoths frozen in the ice of the polar region that still had undigested green plants in their mouths. These majestic gargantuan creatures roamed the polar region during an era of the earth's history when there was no ice but plant life, grasses, and trees.
The startling discovery of the frozen mammoths in the polar ice region forced scientists to consider one basic fact--there are times when the earth's climate changes suddenly, unpredictably, and violently.
These mammoths had obviously been feeding on the plant life in the polar region, yet they froze to death so quickly that the plants they had just taken into their mouths were frozen along with them. Preserved in the ice for eons of time, these animals provided hard scientific proof of three basic postulates.
First, the polar region was not always frozen but teeming with plant life. Second, this plant life sustained animal life that in today's climate would not survive the cold of the region. And third, the earth is often unpredictable in its wide variances of temperatures, sometimes resulting in sudden, violent, and catastrophic shifts in temperature.
In short, the mammoths froze to death within seconds or minutes while munching on the plants that once grew in the Arctic.
In addition, the mere fact that the Arctic region contains some of the world's most abundant oil deposits is ample proof that the region was once inhabited by numerous animals that left behind fossils that eventually led to the 'fossil fuel' of oil. Such animals could not survive the harsh climate the region has today.
Thus, observable, documented hard science is in unanimous agreement concerning the earth's climate. In the grand scheme of things, mankind has little to do with it. The dramatic shift of the climate in the Arctic region occurred long before man appeared on the earth. The Ice Age was ushered in by forces totally outside the activity of human beings. The warming that has occurred since the end of the last Ice Age began long before humans began burning fossil fuels.
It can be documented without dispute, for example, that the earth has been warming for centuries. In actuality, taking the long view, the earth has been warming gradually ever since the end of the last Ice Age, long before there was any industrialization.
Why, then, do the dogmatists within the environmentalist movement insist so vehemently that global warming is a man-made phenomenon? Why are those who present an alternative view to the notion that man caused global warming presently referred to by these dogmatists as 'Holocaust deniers?' These are shockingly harsh terms.
This is not all. PBS was scheduled to do a documentary on global warming. They were planning to utilize the expertise of a world-renown scientist at the University of Oklahoma. However, when the scientist explained to the producers at PBS that he planned on basing his views solely on hard science, they told him in no uncertain terms that he MUST lay the blame for the phenomenon on human activity and the burning of fossil fuels. When the scientist protested that such a view is based upon speculation and opinion rather than hard scientific evidence, he was politely told his services would not be needed on the program.
Why? Why is the dogma of the environmentalist movement so important to its adherents that scientists must be browbeaten into submission and the documented scientific evidence ignored?
The answer is that today's environmentalist movement is not a scientific movement but a political one. The movement is a front for those with a definite political agenda.
Consider this. The scientists who belong to the environmentalist movement claim that their basis of authority on the subject of global warming is 'by consensus.' They have arrived at their viewpoint that man is responsible for global warming by consensus, that is, most of the scientists in the movement adhere to a viewpoint that is not universally held by the best minds within the scientific community.
And this is the source of the problem. If science is determined by consensus, it ceases to be science. It then becomes conjecture, opinion, and theory. Hard science is based upon one thing alone--the observable facts. Anything that cannot be verified with observable facts remains in the realm of opinion and theory. But it is not science.
Thus, the environmentalist movement has outed itself as a purely political movement. By admitting to the notion that scientific fact can be determined by consensus rather than hard evidence, the movement has immediately taken itself totally outside the scientific realm.
This leaves only one dire conclusion. The environmentalist movement is nothing more than a political movement that is dedicated to the destruction of capitalism, entrepreneurship, and free enterprise industrialism. Thus, Americans are told how horrible they are for driving SUVs. We are told how wicked are the oil companies. We treated to diatribes about how awful are the chemical companies. To express a belief that nuclear-powered energy sources are an acceptable, clean alternative is to commit the unpardonable sin. This is enough to get you excommunicated by the High Priests and Priestesses of the movement. You will surely go straight to hell.
Thus, the environmentalist movement is today the single largest threat to liberty in the world outside of terrorism. In the name of saving the planet from us wicked human beings, its adherents would dismantle American capitalism and free enterprise. Under the guise of 'doing good' the movement would destroy the basis of the American economy and totally change our way of life.
It is for this reason that many of the ex-Communists and Socialists from the Cold War have joined the environmentalist movement. When the old Soviet Union fell as a result of the policies of President Ronald Reagan, who brought them to the brink of economic disaster with our massive military buildup, the comrades were caught without a cause and with no place to go.
These people always have to have a subversive 'cause' to justify their existence.
Thus, they chose the environmentalist movement as the perfect vehicle by which to push toward their goal of destroying capitalism, dismantling the American economy, burying our prosperity, and eventually bringing the complete demise of a Republic that is dedicated to human liberty.
To buy into environmentalist pronouncements as the musings of concerned scientists is a big mistake. The practice of environmentalists to ignore hard science and smear the good names of respected scientists who do not subscribe to their views is ample proof of the subversive nature of this movement.
Thinking people can see right through the ruse. When science is decided by 'consensus' and not factual evidence, it is clear that anything the man-is-to-blame-for-global-warming crowd has to say is to be viewed with a grain of salt. They are not to be taken seriously, except for their massive and single-minded desire to dominate politics and alter the course of a free society.
As for their anti-American and anti-liberty scheme, we should quickly and forcefully repudiate their statements in the public arena whenever we have opportunity to do so.
In anticipation of Glenn Beck's expose of the environmentalist movement's grand hoax this evening on the Headline News Network, I decided to post this Liberty Sphere classic for your consideration.

Don't Miss 'Climate of Fear' on Global Warming
Washington, DC (TLS). Tonight at 7 PM and again at 9 PM, Eastern Time, Headline News Network will air a special presentation on global warming entitled, 'Climate of Fear.'
The report will feature Glenn Beck and will focus on the vast fear-mongering that has accompanied the dire warnings and predictions of those who subscribe to the 'man-is-to-blame-for-global-warming' theory.
In addition, Beck will expose the hidden political agenda of those who are intent, no matter what the hard science says, to convince us that human beings caused global warming.
Needless to say, the Left does not want you to see this program!
That is all the more reason to watch. It is time that those who are actually concerned about truth and hard science put to rest once and for all the massive hoax perpetrated by those with a vested interest in causing the collapse of capitalism, free enterprise, and free human choice.
Glenn Beck's special report tonight should be an important step in that direction.

CNN Exposes Global Warming Hoax
Washington, DC (TLS). Tomorrow evening, Wednesday, May 2, 2007, CNN Headline News will present a special report by Glenn Beck that exposes the global warming hoax.
This program will air at 7 PM and again at 9 PM, Eastern Time.
The Liberty Sphere encourages all of our readers to watch this riveting report that will expose the hidden political agendas of the Leftwing in hoodwinking the public into believing that mankind is solely responsible for climate change.
As we have reported many times before, there is no doubt that the earth is in the midst of climate change. Our point of contention with the mainstream media and so-called 'scientists' of the environmentalist movement bandwagon is the claim that human beings brought this about.
In fact, the earth has ALWAYS undergone shifts in climate throughout its entire history. We have basically been in the midst of a period of gradual warming since the last Ice Age.
Obviously, there are many forces at work beyond the control of mankind that produce these temperature fluctuations. But members of the Leftwing have an agenda in laying the blame at the feet of mankind.
Ralph Nader admitted that the ultimate goal of the environmentalist movement is the destruction of capitalism, personal choice, and free enterprise.
Thus, the apologists for the Leftwing must convince us that mankind is to blame for global warming so that major shifts in public policy can be implemented to strip individual citizens of their rights and implement a socialistic, collectivist model of government which can then force lifestyle changes.
Don't forget! Tomorrow night at 7 PM and again at 9 PM, Eastern Time, on CNN Headline News. Glenn Beck will expose the hidden political agenda of the global warming hoax.
