Fisking Obama's Ramadan Remarks Today

Today marks the beginning of the Islamic season of 'Ramadan.'

Obama had this to say:

Ramadan is the month in which Muslims believe the Koran was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad, beginning with a simple word – iqra. It is therefore a time when Muslims reflect upon the wisdom and guidance that comes with faith, and the responsibility that human beings have to one another, and to God.

He's Still Whining

Obama is still whining. The mainstream media is still whining. Even Larry King is whining.

It was political satire in the richest American tradition--a centuries-old practice in this country. But Barack Obama stated on Larry King last night that it was 'unAmerican.'

Thus, The New Yorker cover continues to make headlines.

The thing that is so funny is that although the cover was meant to lampoon a few on the extreme right who have charged that Barack is a Muslim and Michelle is a terrorist, Obama stated on King's show that 'it is a slap in the face to moderate American Muslims.'

Pray tell, how?

Obviously, the man knows nothing about political satire, although the Left has called him 'one of the smartest men in the world.'

And as for Larry King, he just sits there and allows Barack to show his vast ignorance without challenge.

Israel on the Precipice

While we Americans are consumed and distracted by politics, particularly the politics of one dangerous and untested commodity by the name of Barack Obama, Israel, America's most important strategic ally, stands on the precipice, dangerously close to total destruction.

Israel's current leaders are the most incompetent in the history of the nation and are curiously too eager to give away large portions of land to Muslim interests in the name of 'peace.'

It seems that they are even willing to give away half of Jerusalem.

The so-called 'Palestinians' have no intention of being placated. They want the whole enchilada. They do not believe Israel has a right to exist, although Arab/Muslim interests control 99.9% of the land-mass in that area of the world.

Thus, the whole fight is about that one .1% of the land in that area...interesting, isn't it, that 'Palestinians' begrudge the Jews even that!

LIBERTY ALERT! Blogger Sued For Stories on Muslim Terrorists

Washington, DC (TLS). This is a special Liberty Alert for all of those who value freedom of the Internet, First Amendment rights, including freedom of the press, and the freedom of bloggers to post news stories that alert the public about potential danger.

A fellow blogger has been sued by a group of Muslims for posting stories on his blog that link certain Muslim business interests to overseas Islamic terrorists. These stories had also been reported in the mainstream press.

But apparently, the Muslims behind this action have found a vulnerable 'little guy' to bully.

My friends, if they succeed in shutting him down, they will then have the power to shut down any blog or website on the Internet--just for publishing the truth!

PBS Doesn't Want You To See This Film!

Washington, DC (TLS). The Public Broadcasting Network has planned a mammoth series of films entitled, 'America At a Crossroads,' to be aired on Sunday evenings. The eleven-part series will focus on some of the most critical issues facing America today.

One segment, however, has been pulled by the network. It is the segment that deals with radical Islam.

PBS does not want you to see this film. Executives at the government-run network insist that the reason for pulling the segment is that it was 'disjointed,' 'sloppy,' and 'lacking in a distinctive plot.'

Media watchers, however, say that there is another reason.

PBS is apparently caving to the massive Muslim propaganda machine, headed by organizations such as CAIR, that clearly does not want American citizens exposed to the facts that differentiate extremist Muslims from those moderates who practice the Muslim religion but who are pro-Democracy and anti-Jihad.

PBS thus far denies such charges, but the denials have a hollow ring to them given the fact that CAIR and other front organizations for radical Islam have pressured everyone else in the media.

It is very hard to believe that PBS has escaped such pressure.

But instead of forging ahead with their rational approach to the subject, PBS decided to can it.

Easter, Passover Take a Beating

Washington, DC (TLS). At the time of year when Christians and Jews celebrate some of their holiest days, the mongrels of the secular progressive movement in the mainstream press work overtime to bash the beliefs of both faiths.

This year, during Lent, Passover, and Easter, we have been treated to endless attacks on Judaism, Israel, the Bible, Jesus, and Christianity. One art exhibit in New York featured a life-sized image of a chocolate Jesus--'anatomically correct.' A commentator claimed that Judaism is by its very nature racist.

As I write this, it is Good Friday--the day that Christ died on the Cross for our sins. This day and what it represents is central to my belief system, that we see what God is like most fully in the person of Jesus Christ who exhibited unconditional, sacrificial love for all humanity by dying on a Roman Cross.

For the attack dogs of CNN, CBS, ABC, NBC, the Washington Post, and the New York Times (and many others) to undermine my convictions about these matters is nothing but sheer bigotry at its worst.

Wonder what would happen if they did that to Muslims?

Well, here's a hint. They would be afraid to. Look at Great Britain, where teachers have stopped teaching about the Holocaust and the Crusades for the fear of inciting the ire and violence of Muslims.

But Christianity and Judaism are fair game.

Holocaust No Longer Taught in U.K. Schools

Washington, DC (TLS). Are you prepared for yet another story that will get your blood boiling? Look no further than Great Britain, where school teachers are deciding not to teach about the Holocaust for the fear of 'upsetting' Muslims.

For decades the Holocaust was considered one of those absolutes in education--an incident in history that MUST be taught so as to provide a constant reminder that even the most civil of societies can turn barbaric when collectivism becomes the norm, particularly when that collectivist society has decided that certain groups of human beings are deemed to be lacking in any inherent value.

No wonder Jews are increasingly afraid to live in Europe.

But this is not all. These particular teachers in England have also decided not to teach about the Crusades. The reason? They have a real fear that teaching about the circumstances leading up to the Crusades (Muslim barbarism) will incite Muslim students to violence.

My friends, this is what political correctness is doing to education and to entire societies. It is nothing less than an outrage.

College Students Charged with Dissing 'Allah'

Washington, DC (TLS). College Republicans at San Francisco State University have been charged by university officials with 'desecrating Allah,' and will thus face possible punitive action by the university.

When was the last time you heard of a university in America bringing charges against students for desecrating the name of Jesus, or engaging in bigoted caricatures of Christians?

You WON'T hear about it, because it isn't happening. And everyone knows this dissing of Christians and Jesus Christ on college campuses is a regular phenomenon. Instead, what you hear is that universities have increasingly fallen under the influence of powerful Muslim voices who demand that colleges hold THEIR religion sacred and punish anyone who criticizes it.
