A meaningful and peaceful Christmas for you all

The Christmas story, as told by the holy Bible.

Luke 2 King James Version (KJV)

2 And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be taxed.
2 (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.)
3 And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city.
4 And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:)
5 To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.
6 And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.
7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.
8 And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.
9 And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.
10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
12 And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
15 And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us.
16 And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger.
17 And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child.
18 And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds.
19 But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart.
20 And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them.

Here it is...

"For unto us a Child is born," from Handel's Messiah.

Secret meeting of police chiefs suggests bad omen

The recent social turmoil revolving around Ferguson, Mo. and the furor surrounding the execution style murders of two NYC cops have raised some serious questions concerning the social stability of the United States. A secret meeting of police chiefs ... suggests a bad omen for the foreseeable future.

Digging up bones

Hi, my friends. I am okay and hanging in. I still need your prayers.

I have to work, sick or not. We presented a program of Christmas music Sunday, under my direction. I was very pleased with it, but I admit that under present physical circumstances it took a great deal out of me. In fact, I was exhausted, more so than normal. But I enjoy doing these things, and I don't really care about the price I have to pay physically. The singers, the soloists, and the musicians were all wonderful. Simply hearing the fruit of our labors as it is presented live is a blessing that is worth much more than its weight in gold.

Now, even while I have been away struggling with sickness, I have still been working. This is done under the radar screen. It's always interesting to see what you discover when you get out there and "dig up bones." The things I have discovered will be disclosed in time, when the time is right. I suspect my first installment will be tomorrow or Sunday. Stay tuned, and thanks, my friends, for hanging in there with me. Your support is a source of great joy, making it worth my time to come here and do this year after year.

Attack on freedoms demands civil disobedience

A central truth that has come to the fore and reemphasized in the current attack on citizen freedoms is that there are times when civil disobedience is not only appropriate but necessary. The current ongoing attempt by certain states to directly challenge the gun rights of the citizens is a case in point. So critical is the need for resistance to the heavy jackboot the state has placed on the throats of citizens in Washington State that those who cherish their liberties took to a public demonstration of their resistance in the "We Will Not Comply" rally that took place Saturday.

Longterm effects of gun rally in Washington coming into focus

Defenders of individual liberty and unabashed gun rights gathered in Washington State Saturday to protest new gun control laws that went into effect in the state on Dec. 4, 2014. The rally was held on the grounds of the state capitol building in Olympia and drew an estimated 2,000 people. But the longterm effects of this event are now coming into sharp focus.

Pro gun rally in Washington State draws large crowd

At least 1,000 citizens in Washington State gathered at the state capitol grounds in Olympia today in order to express support for gun rights. The rally also protested new gun control laws that went into effect in the state on Dec. 4, 2014...

Vanderboegh to headline gun rally in Washington State

Excerpts:
"Gun rights and liberty activist Mike Vanderboegh will headline a gun rights rally in Washington State Saturday...
"...The rally, which will be held on the grounds of the state capitol building in Olympia, will feature some of the top names in the gun rights and liberty movement...
"...The Constitution states clearly that "the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed." Yet dozens of laws have been added to the books that do exactly that, especially beginning in the first half of the 20th century...
"...Tomorrow's rally in Washington State will drive home that point and much more. No longer will ordinary citizens be the whipping boy for gun control or gun ban propaganda..."

Ushering it in

Well, not exactly. The Christmas season is already in full swing, so I am not really "ushering it in." But for me this sacred season starts when I get my mind focused on the quiet holiness of the day we are commemorating.

And that means that for me the Christmas season started when I played the following video (audio actually). The title is "O Sanctissima." It is an instrumental upon which the late, great Bing Crosby used as the title theme in his big holiday movie, "The Bells of St. Mary's." At that point words were added to allow the crooner to show off his golden voice. But every time I hear this melody it reminds of Crosby singing it in that movie.

The piece I have provided below is the original "O Sanctissima" -- the instrumental version, as conducted and played by Eugene Ormandy and the Philadelphia Orchestra. Here you will hear one of the reasons why I am such a big fan. The piece begins slowly, with each section taking its turn to take the lead. One can hear in an instant that each section of the great orchestra was fine tuned to perfection -- the woodwinds, the flutes, and so forth, each building to a new level of volume. Then the brass section takes its turn. Ormandy was not known for brass, but he should have been. He had the absolute best trumpeters, French horns, baritones, tubas, and so forth, on the planet. In this piece you will see one of the reasons why I make such a claim. The ONLY reason Ormandy was not known for his brass section was that he emphasized strings, but that did not mean that he allowed the other sections to go lacking. You will search the world far and wide to find an orchestra that can equal that brass section of the Philadelphia Orchestra during the Ormandy era (1936 to 1981).

And then we come to the climax. The volume has been slowly building, leading up to something magnificent, and in this case, it would be the strings. Ormandy insisted on having and maintaining the absolute best strings on the planet. He had been a violin soloist in Europe as a very young man. And here, in this great climax to a highly inspiring piece of music, Ormandy pulls out all the stops and places on full display the sound, "the Philadelphia Sound," for which he and the orchestra were known. The strings -- violins, violas, cellos, bass violins, double bass violins, etc. -- step up to the plate and play this section full volume, and to complete perfection. I can just see Maestro Ormandy on the podium at the old Academy of Music concert hall turning slightly to his left to face the violins, and then with gritted teeth and his left hand signaling a vigorous, full volume display, bringing forth the most overwhelming sound a human being will ever hear.

Sometimes the Maestro himself appeared to be taken aback by the sounds his own musicians produced on stage, live. At that point you would often see him lift his face upward while maintaining eye contact with the musicians as if he were simply letting his musicians shine. He would just step back and allow himself to thoroughly enjoy it. Often you would see him smile, other times you would see a slight tear roll down a cheek. But this is part of Ormandy's greatness. He never allowed the technical considerations of a piece of music stand in the way of pure human emotion. The music is meant to elicit forth such emotion.

Each time I hear the climax of this piece, I, too, am overwhelmed. How could one man, and one orchestra, produce such a heavenly sound? And why is it that I have never heard that sound since that time except for what has been preserved on vinyl, CDs, or videos? Maybe part of the answer is these experiences come along only once in a lifetime, and for many, never. There will never be another Ormandy. There will never be another group of musicians who could play not only to perfection but to the level of pure, unadulterated emotion.

Here, in this piece, I experience God. I experience the reality of Jesus Christ, God's only Son, our Lord. And this, for me, launched the 2014 Christmas season.

Enjoy....(Click here to view on YouTube).

Still swimming upstream

Hello. Hope you are well. I'm still trying to swim upstream, or at least that's what it feels like. But I am able to do some things I enjoy, so that's some good news.

I'm conducting some Christmas music again this year, so the rehearsals have been rather taxing. I can still do them, however, although I am completely exhausted when I get through.

But enough of that. I just wanted to say hi and let you know I'm still here.

Here I am

Had to take some time off from writing over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, except for one Examiner article. Sometimes the energy is just not there to do much more.

I need your prayers. Being unwell for an extended period of time is no picnic, and it has given me a new appreciation for those who are chronically seriously ill to the point of having to be home bound over a period of years. I don't see how they do it.

I am ready to get out there and stir up some stuff, mix it up, and see if there is some hidden news that needs fleshing out. But that could take a few days. On the other hand, I may be writing again tonight or tomorrow. There is no rhyme or reason to this.

Thanks for hanging in there with me.

Digging around the dictatorship: suspicion skyrockets

A grave danger lurks in the dominant news stories concerning racial tensions in Ferguson and Obama's seizing of executive power with regard to immigration and blanket amnesty. Actions taken by Obama on these issues are illegal. The two issues so dominated the news that everything else was put on the back burner. It has been noted that this administration is known to hide a significant amount of important information while the public's attention is distracted. Thus, digging further into what is going on behind the scenes is not only essential but urgent. The real news lies in what is not being reported. Thus, many have begun to dig. And digging around the dictatorship has led to information that has caused suspicions to skyrocket.

Friday, November 28, 2014

So what do you do when one thing dominates the news cycle for weeks on end? Why, start digging, of course!

It's interesting what has not been at the forefront of the news in the weeks since the Ferguson incident in August and Obama's Executive Order that seizes for himself power the Executive Branch doesn't have -- all in order to provide what is tantamount to blanket amnesty to multimillions of illegal aliens.

Benghazi dropped out of sight. Or at least it is no longer front page news. I assume you heard that the House Intelligence Committee publicized its findings that nobody anywhere did anything wrong whatsoever in the debacle that took the lives of a U.S. Ambassador and his security detail. The committee wrote that it has found no intelligence failure prior to the attack and that no stand down order was issued. The report further found conflicting intelligence concerning the attack, which explains why there were contradictory statements issued by the Administration early on.

The mainstream media, however, failed to mention that the investigation conducted by the House Intelligence Committee is not one and the same with the the House Select Committee that was chosen for one task alone -- dig more deeply into Benghazi than any committee or task force has thus far. This special committee is chaired by U.S. Rep. Trey Gowdy, S.C., and is far from completing its task.

Meanwhile, over in the Senate, immediately after the House Intel Committee announced its rather strange findings, U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., went on the air on several networks stating that the committee's finding of "no wrongdoing" is nothing but "bull." Graham vowed that now that the Senate is slated to take over the chamber in January, he would work closely with Gowdy in conducting a real investigation, allowing the chips to fall where they may. Graham blasted the House Intel Committee, implying that it was nothing but a whitewash deal designed to continue the cover up. It is to be remembered that this committee is headed by Republicans who have had a majority in the House since 2010. It is also to be remembered that all along the way, I and many others have warned that there are some Republicans who walk in tandem with Obama and the Dems.

Another issue that got relegated to the back burner in the aftermath of Ferguson and the executive order on illegal immigrants is the tax burden that is getting ready to hit Americans as mandated by the new Obamacare law. Americans won't know what hit them. But they will be hit hard. And now to add insult to injury, citizens will not only be taxed for Obamacare but they will be required to foot the bill for illegal aliens who partake in Obamacare.

And this is not to mention the multithousands of new rules and regulations that will be unleashed upon the public in 2015, courtesy of the Obama Administration. The EPA alone will wreak havoc on the economy by continuing its frontal attack on the coal industry and other businesses and enterprises that are vulnerable to the targeting of extremists who wish to rob citizens of private property and property rights, all in the name of "addressing global warming."

These are just a few of the issues that have been jettisoned from public consumption as our attention has been directed elsewhere in the last two months.

Thanksgiving, 2014

I hope all of you have a blessed and meaningful Thanksgiving. We take so much for granted, in our personal lives, our families, our professional lives, and even in this country with all of its flaws and challenges.

So, spend some time with those you love, your friends, your families, and others who mean something to you. Bow your head and thank God you have them, that you have a roof over your head and food on your table. We don't know how long we will be blessed with these things. So make sure you embrace them and enjoy them while you can.

I will be working this weekend. If there is breaking news or an emergency, I will report it here and at the Examiner. But at the same time I take Thanksgiving seriously. I will spend time with family and share with them a meal. And I will be glad that I can spend at least one more Thanksgiving as a living Patriot who has figured out that unless a man has a few things he is willing to die for, he has nothing to live for.

Source: 'It may not be over for Officer Wilson in Ferguson'

As far as the state of Missouri is concerned, the books can be closed on the Darren Wilson case, the Ferguson police officer who shot and killed 18 year old Michael Brown in August of this year. The Grand Jury thoroughly examined the evidence and the witnesses and concluded that there is no evidence that justifies charges of murder or manslaughter in this case.
But one source, several in fact, have stated that Officer Wilson's woes may be far from over...

The hunter and the hunted...

Hiya. More than likely I will have an Examiner story ready this afternoon. If not this afternoon, then tonight.

Hope you all are well, and if you travel, use utmost caution, especially if you are going to the northeast. A major snow storm is forecast for that area at the very time most would be driving to various destinations for Thanksgiving. My advice is don't go. Do not drive in that. And if you fly, look for irritating, long-lasting delays.

As for me, well....on second thought I'm not gonna tell you. Some things need to be kept incognito. Digging, writing, reporting, that's my bag. I'm always working even when I have some down time. I've always been like that, and I don't foresee any changes. My work is my life, and my life is my work. The worst part of it is that many times you put in a ton of time and energy only to come up empty handed. You spend a lot of time and effort running down leads any way you can, only to discover that there was nothing there, or those involved so carefully covered their tracks that there is nothing to report.

But in today's case, there is plenty to report because a LOT is there. And it is all legitimate. It's just a matter of deciding which one to focus on, given that a one-man operation can't do it all. So, I will be back later on. And  I will be around during the holidays too. A new beast is afoot who's tentative name is ZERO, and this beast is so dangerous that he bears watching very closely. Beware of anyone who takes upon himself dictatorial powers, even if it involves a relatively minor issue.

Getting into "Zero's" head

When "Zero" decided that he would do something that directly contradicted everything he had said on the subject for several years, it never occurred to him that dozens of videos were extant that showed him in a passionate display, claiming he "had no authority" by executive order to write, change, or delete laws Congress had passed. The thing is, what he said was 100 percent correct. The Constitution specifically forbids a president from engaging in legislation making, or changing, or repealing. That job falls to Congress alone. Even the Supreme Court lacks the authority to do these things (but don't tell John Roberts, or he'll have another blackout fit or something).

The reaction to Zero's dictatorial orders on immigration have run the gamut as expected. Some applaud him for ripping the Constitution to shreds. Others are attempting to find a way to nullify the act. And still others are calling for his head on the chopping block of the legal system as a consequence for engaging in unlawful actions.

But there won't be any impeachment or removal from office. Republicans are deathly afraid that such a thing would doom their chances of reclaiming the White House in 2016. And they are probably right. In today's political climate, the nation's first black president cannot be impeached under any circumstance whatsoever. To do so would be to commit political suicide. Thus, it ain't happening, so we had might as well not even talk about it. The nation's first black president has the country by the balls. Everyone knows it whether they admit it or not, and there is not one friggin' thing we can do to change it. He could hang a thousand patriots by executive order, and nothing would be done in the legal system or in Congress.

You think he doesn't know this? Of course he knows, and he is using it to his advantage. That is why I keep saying Zero is the most dangerous man in America. When you know you will not suffer any consequences of your actions, the temptation is simply too great to use that infinite power in a deadly fashion.

I expect the very worst....

Remedy

In case there was ever any doubt whatsoever, "Zero" is the most dangerous man in America today.
Zero has taken unto himself dictatorial powers.
He is forbidden from making laws in any fashion whatsoever but is COMMANDED to enforce the laws Congress has passed.

Zero is therefore a lawless criminal, a thug, a travesty of justice. He said so himself. At least 27 times he stated publicly he did not have the authority to change the law as written by Congress. Tonight he did the very thing he said he had no authority to do. His own words condemn him.

The remedy lies in the "Stealth War" or what others call "Fourth Generation Warfare." But beware. We do not advocate harming civilians or perpetrating violence.

At the least, he should be ignored completely. We do the opposite of what he wants. We defy him at every turn. From now on, he is a non-entity.

Republicans can use Congressional rules to thwart Obama

With Republicans firmly in control of both houses of Congress beginning in January, speculation has grown as to which direction the new leaders will take the country, particularly in the Senate. But apart from two or three issues, the Republicans have kept their cards close to the vest.

In many if not most instances being careful not to tip one's hand to the opposition is good strategy. But in this case conservatives in particular have become so suspicious of the Republican elitist leadership that Speaker Boehner and the newly minted Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell may need to do some things early on that will reassure libertarian leaning conservatives that real change will be enacted by the House and Senate.

The latest string of Obama lies depicts desperation

With Obama and his supporters still firmly in control of the Executive Branch, the lies just keep coming. Despite being caught red handed perpetrating a fraud on the American people, the powers that be only double down with more lies, without blinking. Such a course of action only proves the accuracy of observers who say that the progressive/neo-Marxists are showing signs of desperation. Their grand scheme is slipping away from them, and they are at a loss as to what to do about it.

Vanderboegh behind enemy lines to promote gun rights

Vanderboegh had called national attention to the Connecticut attack on the Second Amendment by sending inoperable gun magazines to key political leaders in the state. This was done not only to place political leaders on notice that pushback was on the way but to call attention to the 300,000 citizens in Connecticut who own guns, 85 percent of whom have stated they have no intention of complying with the new state laws.

The hits keep coming from Obamacare architect

In the aftermath of the disclosure that one of Obamacare's primary architects, Jonathan Gruber, admitted to false premise and fraudulent statements in an effort to sell the new healthcare law, it seems that the hits just keep on coming. The initial video showing Gruber admitting to fraud has now been corroborated by other videos in which he made similar false statements that not only misrepresent the healthcare law but disparage the intelligence of the American people.

As if we never saw this coming...

Well, the announcement came down today that Obama has drafted an executive order that will allow nearly five million illegal aliens to stay in the country, immune from any threat of deportation. Thus, he has declared war on the Constitution and on the Republicans who will control both houses of Congress in January.

So much for the pledge to "work together."

This showdown is a test of the new Republican majority. True, they will not take office until January, but everyone knows Obama's opponents are waiting in the wings to take control. Democrat Harry Reid, the warlock Senate Majority Leader, is still firmly in control. And he and Obama have a message to the American people and their jobs: "F*** YOU!!!"

Republicans should mount a roadblock to anything Obama and Reid do during the lame duck session of Congress. Obama does not have the Constitutional authority to decide which laws are enforced and which are ignored. Nor does he have the power to create legislation. That is the role of Congress alone. If he takes it upon himself to create law regarding immigration reform, he will break the law in doing so. The penalty is impeachment, which the Republicans have no stomach for. Why? Well, would you want to be on record voting to impeach the nation's first black president? The Obama Chicago thug machine will go on a rampage. This is not to mention what Reid and the Democrat machine will do.

In short, the thugs in the White House and in the Senate have the country by the testicles and will show no hesitation to implement a Ferguson on a nationwide scale.

Lies, deception, fraud: Obamacare architect drops bombshell

With the bombshell admission of the main architect of Obamacare that a series of lies were told to the American public to get the new healthcare law passed, conservatives have been vindicated. Everything we said about the law from the very beginning has now been confirmed as the truth by the very ones who put the law together.

Veterans Day

On this special day we thank all of those who served their country by fighting in its wars while members of the military. The sacrifices made to fulfill the mission of protecting we the citizens are too numerous to mention. But those who served should be assured that your putting service before self has never been forgotten.

We also wish to make it clear that those who died in protecting the citizens of this nation have never been forgotten. We will not forget, ever.

Attkisson's fairness, tenacity lead to big trouble

Former CBS News investigative reporter Sharyl Attkisson has proven consistently that she is ultimately fair yet tenacious in following the facts wherever they lead. This has garnered the adoration and accolades of her colleagues in the press. But it has also resulted in her ostracism and outright disdain when her fellow reporters bemoaned the fact that she refused to sweep under the rug damaging information that portrayed Obama and others in his machine in a negative light.

Happy Birthday, Mr. Graham

Today is the 96th birthday of world renowned evangelist Billy Graham. I would like to wish him a wonderful 96th and thank him for being a stalwart beacon of truth for over 70 years.

Graham has preached the Gospel of Jesus Christ to more people than any other person in history. Yet he never strayed from his roots in the mountains and foothills of North Carolina. His log home near Montreat and Black Mountain, NC, still serves as "home" for Mr. Graham. It is the same mountain log home that was built shortly after he and his wife Ruth were married. The home was to be a haven of rest for the evangelist in those brief periods when he was not traveling and preaching.

Today, Graham is a member of the First Baptist Church of Spartanburg, SC, which is located not far from the mountains of North Carolina. Two years ago, Graham's "Living Room Crusade" was billed as his last. The Graham organization blitzed the airwaves on radio, TV, and the Internet with the Gospel message as only Graham can deliver it.

Although his physical maladies have intensified due to his age, his mind is still sharp as can be. Who knows. Graham may well do another Living Room Crusade before he is forced to quit.

A very happy birthday and a hearty "thank you" to Billy Graham on this special day!

This is not good, no matter which way you spin it

In the midst of the celebratory mass hysteria on display by Republicans this week is some ominous news. As most of us have told you, the victories won by anti-Obama forces this week are no reason to let our guard down. The same old enemies are still there, and they aren't going anywhere.

Both Hickenlooper in Colorado and Malloy in Connecticut won their reelection bids to remain governors in their respective states. Both are also rabid anti-gun nutcases. Personally I am much more troubled by Hickenlooper's victory than Malloy's. One can expect the northeast to do such stupid things. But Colorado? This is the state that recalled and then ousted two state legislators for their role in the restrictive anti-gun and anti-ammunition law passed by the legislature. Hickenlooper was right in the middle of it, but voters in Colorado did not oust him as they did the others. Why?

That is the question of the hour. I would like to know why. What happened? Was there fraud? Did conservatives stay home for some reason? I doubt it on both counts. They ousted Sen. Udall, which suggests there was neither any fraud nor any apathy on the part of conservatives.

So what happened that this sorry anti-gun tyrant was allowed to stay in the governor's mansion for another four years? Does anyone have the answer?

An analysis of the midterm vote

Analysts attempting to explain the midterm vote Tuesday put forth various and sundry reasons why Republicans did much better than expected and Democrats did much worse. Juan Williams, for example, claimed that the vote was the result of an anti-incumbent sentiment on the part of voters. Williams downplayed any suggestion that the vote was indicative of Obama's failures and plummeting approval ratings.

Last minute predictions for tomorrow's midterms

Much is riding on tomorrow's midterm elections. So much is at stake that a few last minute predictions are in order. Granted, the mood of the electorate is fluid, making it difficult to make predictions with a high degree of certainty. But there are indications that lead to at least some level of certainty, enough so that the electorate needs to be informed in order to brace themselves.

Danger of civil war places Conn. on 'knife's edge'

The danger of civil war in America has reached a fever pitch in Connecticut, of all places. One gun rights activist stated that Connecticut is now on the "knife's edge" of being ground zero in that war. The activist further said that state government is prepared to conduct raids against citizens suspected of keeping illegal guns and ammunition in their homes.

Well, I'll be a freakin' son of a gun -- maybe I really do need to get a "real job"

I made all of $1.25 yesterday for my Examiner article. Just over 200 people read it.

Now, through the years trolls have told me that I need to get a real job and stop with this notion of writing, that I can't write anyway, and even if I could the nation would be much better off without my point of view.

Maybe they're right. As a free market capitalist I do believe in the basic premise that if your skills or the goods you offer cannot compete in the marketplace, then you go under. Maybe that is true about me. Maybe I'm not good enough to compete in the marketplace of ideas. Maybe people are not interested in what I'm offering.

As far as getting a "real job" goes, writing is a real job, and a hard one at that. It is very hard work as any writer will tell you. But if I cannot make it by writing, what am I supposed to do? There are just a few things I can still do at this point in life. I am not physically able to do most of them.

So, I dunno. To heck with it. If I can do no better than this, then what's the use? A pox on all of it!

Felonies abound among political activists and illegals

It is now a mere four days until the 2014 midterm elections. Longtime observers of elections have noted that the political landscape seems to indicate a general shift away from Democrats. This would spell trouble for Barack Obama and his legislative allies such as Harry Reid. But many elections are so close that even a slight shift of a few hundred votes or less would be enough to tip the election to the Democrat. The reason? Widespread fraud.

Well, despite my best efforts it's simply not coming together for tonight

Earlier I had promised a new Examiner article this evening. But it is not to be.

I had the best of intentions, but I realized a few minutes ago that it just won't be coming together for tonight. I ran out of steam. The thing about having this kind of severe flair up is that one's energy level drops to near zero. But today I felt somewhat better. I had planned to do a Bible study for a church tonight, and I was determined to fulfill that commitment. This I did, but doing that plus an article tonight was just too much and did not take into consideration my energy level, which is running on low.

I hope you understand. I will post an article tomorrow, for sure.

Back up and running

As you can tell from last evening's Examiner article -- Trouble Brewing on at least Two Fronts -- apparently the techies worked out most if not all of the bugs.

But during my down time I lost hundreds of dollars. UGH!

Anyway, give a tired, sick gentleman who is quickly growing old a helping hand by passing along the link above to anyone you can think of. It will help greatly.

This evening I will have a new article ready, but I don't know the time or how late it will be posted. Heck, I'm just happy to be back up and running.

And thank you, dear readers, for all you do. Many of you visit this blog on a daily basis whether I have anything to say or not. I am truly thankful for your loyalty, and I value each of you as friends.

Trouble brewing on at least two fronts

The 2014 midterm elections are now only one week away. Sources indicate that trouble is brewing on at least two fronts that go directly to the heart of those elections. On Monday reports surfaced from trusted sources concerning Obama's plans to grant citizenship to multimillions of illegal aliens after the election. And elections officials in several key states, such as Maryland, reported that tests on voting machines show that votes that are cast for Republicans are automatically funneled to Democrats. One group called Young Conservatives report that a Republican candidate in Illinois attempted to vote for a Republican (himself) but got a shock when his vote was actually tabulated.

LIBERTY ALERT! Something brewing...

This is a special Liberty Alert.

Something is brewing in the vast American heartland in response to threats by Obama and a lame duck Democrat Congress to unleash the full force of lawlessness after the Nov. election and prior to the new Congress in Jan. of 2015.

Sources have stated that Obama intends to take full control over immigration by using the Executive Order to automatically naturalize multimillions of illegal aliens, unilaterally granting full citizenship to all who are in the country illegally. The action is designed to change the face of America from top to bottom, creating a permanent underclass that will make sure that for at least another 50 years and more Democrats will control all three branches of government.

But some are hinting at chatter being heard in various sectors indicating that any more shenanigans that remotely resembles such an action by Obama will result in open violence in the streets. The "civil unrest" would then become a full scale war.

While many patriots shudder to think of anyone on our side initiating such a war by firing the first shot, which most of us have condemned, the Stealth War would certainly take full advantage of the situation underground. None of those on our side would be interested in harming human life but in using stealth methods to thwart the plans of the leviathans. This can be done without taking to the streets to perpetrate violence. We are against violence. The Stealth War has always been about beating the statist leviathan by outsmarting him. There are ways to do this with regard to illegal aliens...with a little help from silent and secretive partners in government who detest working for this regime.

More about this tomorrow. But remember one thing, my friends. A vote for a Democrat in November is a vote for Harry Reid and Barack Obama. No matter who they are or what they claim to be, you cannot believe them. Even if they go to the same church you do. That means nothing in this day and age. If they vote for people who support illegal alien citizenship, abortion on demand, Obamacare, and a host of other illegal laws, then I don't care who they are. They are not one of us, and they do not believe in the ideals of the United States of America.

And now a word from our friendly local insane asylum...

Insanity. Pure and simple. There are no other words adequate enough to describe it.

First, word came late today that the New York Times will have a front page story tomorrow proclaiming that Obamacare is a great success. Who or what in their right mind would make such an outlandish comment? Well, the NYT, that's who...proving again that the old gray lady is nothing but a left wing rag fit for the garbage can. It is the height of insanity, insensitivity, and outright cruelty to make such a claim when so many have endured hardship under the new healthcare plan implemented by worthless socialists. Obama said average families would save $2,500 on the plan. Instead, they are spending $2,500 MORE than before, PLUS copays that have skyrocketed through the roof. Some of our best doctors are hanging it up as well, either retiring or refusing to accept patients who have insurance or Medicare.

The NYT has but one reason for doing this. It is a mere week before the midterm elections, and they know that enough dumbed down collectivists and other Democrats will believe this bilge, spurring them on to get to the polls to vote.

I have ZERO respect for the Times or anyone who "thinks" like they do.

Second, Jeb Bush is apparently committed to running for president in 2016. Now, I know some of you believe this is wonderful news. Not me. We need another Bush in the White House like we need another Clinton. Neither would be acceptable at a time such as this. Jeb is no conservative. He will continue to throw open wide the floodgates to more illegal aliens than the country can handle. He has other major troubles that conservatives will complain to high heaven about as well. The GOP had best steer away from Jeb. Fair warning.

Hildabeast strikes again with her made up "facts"

The Hildabeast actually had the gall to tell a campaign rally for Martha Coakley in Massachusetts that businesses do not create jobs.

Hillary has never shied away from making up "facts" out of thin air, but what in the name of heaven could she have been thinking here? Everyone knows that the overwhelming number of jobs in the United States is created by small business, corporations, industry, and the like.

But the Hildabeast has an agenda she is trying to fulfill. She will say anything to fulfill it. Read this:
Don’t let anybody tell you it’s corporations and businesses create jobs,” Clinton said.
“You know that old theory, ‘trickle-down economics,’” she continued. “That has been tried, that has failed. It has failed rather spectacularly.”
“You know, one of the things my husband says when people say ‘Well, what did you bring to Washington,’ he said, ‘Well, I brought arithmetic,’” Clinton said, which elicited loud laughs from the crowd.
Sure thing, Hildabeast. Jobs are only created by magical manipulation of government. Money is nothing more than paper printed by government. And you never run out of it, never. After all, as long as government has that printing press, we are always as rich as government wants us to be.

Clintonian arithmetic, you know. And some citizens actually want to put this vermin into the White House....

Study shows proof positive that large numbers of illegal aliens vote!

I have often charged that elections in the United States are skewed due to voter fraud and election tampering. We now have a major study proving this is true.

The reason Democrats want open borders, amnesty, and the like, and the reason Democrats want no requirements for Voter I.D. is that they know fraud is taking place that tips the balance in their direction.

NRO reports the facts concerning this ground breaking study conducted by Cooperative Congressional Election Study.

Most who have reported voter fraud in the past have contended that illegal aliens have voted in such small numbers that only those races decided by a few hundred votes may have been effected.

Not so fast. This comprehensive study claims that over 700,000 illegal aliens vote in our elections, a number so large that the results of countless elections could have been skewed and decided fraudulently.

A free society based on Constitutional principles cannot survive if its elections cannot be secured any better than that.

Bumped over here

Well, Examiner is being awfully slow about fixing the latest technical issue, this one making it impossible to write and post, and then read, the writers' material. So, I have bumped my commentary over here, at The Liberty Sphere, where it will remain until Examiner decides that its writers are importance enough to fix major problems expeditiously.

The major bombshell of a news story, which no one is reporting in the MSM or on conservative outlets, is that the Federal Election Commission (FEC) wishes to regulate The Drudge Report and other conservative bloggers and sites. Or I should say the DEMOCRATS on the FEC want to do so.

This amounts to an all out assault on free speech and freedom of the press. Here is the full story.

The modus operandi of Democrats, progressives, and other neo-Marxists is to control and dominate the reporting of the news in order to give it a slant against detractors. Thus, here they are only proving that we conservatives have been right about them all along.

A second story appeared on Drudge about this issue here.

As always, when major crises occur in the country that dominate the airwaves, newspapers, etc., it is vitally important that the right hand know what the left hand is doing. In that hidden left hand is the real story. And while the MSM focuses its microscope on Ebola, school shootings, terrorism in Canada, the Obama Administration and their mouthpieces in the Democratic Party are doing their dirty work to attack and undermine the rights of the people.

Freedom of expression is in deep trouble in America. Under this regime we have seen countless attempts to shut us up, that is, the citizenry, conservatives, libertarians, conservative evangelical Christians, and Tea Party patriots.

Watch them carefully, folks. The collectivist leviathan is on the march. They ARE coming after your rights and liberties. And that includes Hagan in North Carolina, Nunn who running in Georgia, Udall in Colorado, Landrieu in Louisiana, and countless others.

There is no such thing as a conservative Democrat anymore. If they sound that way, it is deliberate, a scheme to get elected by fooling their constituents into thinking they are "one of the people," Well, unless a majority of your congressional district is made up of Communists, and unless the majority of your state is populated by neo-Marxist freedom-robbers, that only proves that your Democratic candidate is a big liar.

Trouble, oh trouble...yeah, I got trouble, it follows me around, haunts my mind, and plays havoc with every move I make

Evening, friends. I got troubles....again.

This time the source is Examiner. The page won't load right. All of my data is pushed to the far left side of the page, some of it being unreadable. Examiner says they have heard from a significant number of writers complaining about the same thing today. But others have had no trouble at all.

But if something bad is out there lurking, you can bet the bottom dollar in your wallet it's gonna lodge with me sooner or later. I attract troubles like bees to honey.

This is just foul. Mega foul. Horse ca ca. And, of course this is going to happen on a weekend just when most of the staff is off for the weekend.

So, if I am not publishing, you'll know that's the reason why. And if I'm not posting on this blog you'll know I am mad as fire, ill as a hornet, and mean as a rattlesnake, and had just as soon go back to my cave and my cot and hide. But, I will try to muster enough politeness to give you a report each day, if I can.

Frankly, after having considered all of my options today, the one that makes the most sense is to barf

Well, folks, last night and today I had another bout with nausea as I normally do about once a week or so. I think it is due to the meds I have to take since they haven't found any underlying physical cause except for the inflammation with which I live constantly.

I contemplated writing an article, but that fell flat. I thought about putting some thoughts together on this blog concerning the upcoming midterms, but that, too fell flat when I realized on second thought that I didn't really feel like doing that either. Then, I thought I would pontificate on the terrorist attack in Canada, but I quickly laid that idea to rest as well.

So, having looked at all of my options, the one that makes the most sense is to barf and go to bed.

If I start to feel better I may do an Examiner article this evening. But sometimes I ask myself "what's the use?" when readership is as fickle as an angry mob. Every once in a while I get attention for an article, get plenty of readers, and make a decent amount of money to keep food on the table. But then before I know it my readership has dropped like a lead balloon, and I get nervous once again wondering how on earth I will pay my bills and eat if I make no more money than that.

So, to heck with it. Blah, blah, blah, BARF! At least with physical nausea I can barf and feel better. But with the emotional nausea that comes from worrying about those unimportant matters, you know, like having a roof over my head, having enough food to stay alive, and paying for the meds I need each day, one cannot deal with that through the process of the barf. But that is still what I wish I could do with it all.

As I said, to heck with it. BARF!

Obama's Ebola czar has disturbing history

...Barack Obama told the public that he would need an "Ebola czar" to coordinate the effort to stop the disease from spreading. It turns out that the person chosen for the job, Ron Klain, has a most disturbing history that not only makes him an odd choice for the position but confirms the charges of conservatives that his role is purely political.

Hello my dear readers, saints and sinners, patriots and vermin alike...

Well, hi. I hope you caught the humor in that title. That's the only reason I did it. I have no intention of addressing political vermin or sinners, at least not in this post. :)

I am writing to give my dear faithful readers and supporters an update on...well, me. I'm still here, hanging in, keeping up with the news and politics each day even though I am not writing about them at present. But today, I am compelled to come out of my cave for a bit.

There are somethings going on at the national level and the local level that need at least my small spotlight shining on them. I may not have any breaking news or anything new to report, but I am able to see patterns. I connect dots. Some would refer to me as a "political analyst," although I will be quick to say I never got a degree in political analysis (if there is such a thing). My insight comes by instinct and observation, having started early in life -- like at age 5 or 6 -- being tutored by family and friends of my family that loved the political debate. It wasn't long until I could hold my own with people much older than me. This was due solely to the time I put into reading, studying, and watching carefully the actions of politicians on TV, as well as listening to them on the radio.

So, having said that, I am sure some of the "progressive" elitists would debunk anything I have to say, which most do already, claiming that I am not an "authorized political analyst." But, considering that those who are "authorized" tend to be some of the most extremist neo-Marxists in America who engage in "advocacy journalism" on behalf of Obama, Clinton, and scores of other elitists who hate the Constitution, I have concluded that I did not miss anything by passing up majoring in political science or journalism. My majors were in different fields, but I have observed that anyone with a solid, well-rounded classic education can do the work of a journalist and political analyst with no problem. Walter Cronkite, for example, was a history major.

All of this is leading up to telling you that I will probably have a new article for Examiner to post later this evening. It all depends. But at least I am working on it. But I am going to need your help in spreading it. The Examiner still adheres to the old, tired, worn out, obsolete method of paying its writers on the basis of how many read it. This is not a "per click" method. You can only be counted once per day. That cuts down on the worthless clicking and encourages visitors to the site to actually read the article in question. I appreciate your help in this matter.

I will return later when the writing is done.

Is it time for my swan song?

I am certain that there is better than a 50-50 chance that all of what I am about to say is a product of having been bitten by the 'black dog.' In a previous post I wrote about this, providing a description of being beset with depression arising from the circumstances of life. One possible manifestation of such a state is the tendency to think that life is nearing its end, that one is getting ready to kick the proverbial bucket.

But let me emphasize I am NOT suicidal or homicidal. I have never wished to harm another human being in any way. And I believe that only God gets to decide when this life is over, not me. Thus, such a thing is not even remotely a part of my thinking.

My problem is more of a feeling, an internal thought process that has led me to believe that my time on this earth is nearing its end.

Now, don't start to panic or to become alarmed. All of this, as I said, is probably more of a product of my emotional state than anything else. Nonetheless, the feeling is there, and I have been forced by circumstances to at least consider the fact that I may be nearing the end -- this year or next year. My Mother, God rest her soul, died at roughly the same age I am now. So did my beloved maternal grandmother.

When I think of the losses I have encountered throughout my life, sometimes I wonder how on earth I lived this long. I don't see how I survived it. Despite outward appearance, I am a deeply feeling person, deeply empathetic to the suffering of others. I have usually been able to cover that up in order to avoid disclosing to others what I am truly feeling internally. And it has seemed to me that with each loss I experienced, with each disappointment, with each failure to reach what to me was an important goal, I felt each blow deeply within my body, with each organ and each cell taking a hit that gradually depleted me of energy, fight, and motivation, the life beaten right out of me.

There are aspects of my life that I never write about. Privacy has prevented it. But needless to say there is much going on behind the scenes that make this existence painful, physically and emotionally. Often I wake up wondering how on earth I am going to make it another day. And then at night I wonder how on earth I am going to recoup my internal resources to face the next day. Sleep is difficult under these circumstances, not to mention the physical pain I encounter that makes sleep impossible.

I told you about some of my losses -- my Mother and my Grandmother -- but this is far from the gist of it. I lost others in my family that meant the world to me. I was very close to all of them, and I miss them terribly. And then, there was my beloved dog. Some people hear or read my account of my special bond with Bo, a Lhasa Apso who seemed to know me in a way one would not associate with a dog, and they find the whole thing amusing. But Bo was special in every way. He was like the child I never had. He WAS my child. And when he died (I had him for 15 years), it was a blow that I had never experienced except for my Mother's death. The fact that he is gone has left a major gap in my heart, a gaping hole in which there is nothing but emptiness. I have had many other dogs all of my life, being a "dog person." I have a good little dog now. But none of them are like Bo. That is not their fault. It is just that Bo was that unique and special. To this day I wish he would appear out of nowhere to lick my hand as he always did, and then find himself a place to lay at my feet, giving me last brief lick on my foot to let me know he was there just before going to sleep.

Of course the physical malady I have does not help matters at all. I get tired of constant pain, inflammation, eye problems, and a dozen other aspects of this disease.

Looking ahead to the future of our nation, frankly I don't see any way out of the current predicament peacefully. It will take an all out war to reclaim and restore the authority of the Constitution and its Bill of Rights. And I am not jumping for joy over the midterm elections next month. The people we are fighting are experts at fighting dirty. They lie at the drop of the hat. They throw people in jail to silence them. They undermine the Constitution and our rights by using their like-minded vermin in Congress, the vast bureaucracy, state governments, and the courts. If they can't get the people to approve of their tyranny at the ballot box, then they get one of their blacked robed scoundrel judges to "rule" on it on their behalf. And let's not forget these people wrote the book on voter fraud and election tampering.

Frankly, I don't know for sure that our fellow citizens will help us in getting rid of the Senate Majority. There is simply too much corruption in the system. Too many payoffs in exchange for votes. This means we get another term in which Harry Reid leads the Senate, he and his Democrat vermin who are actually nothing more than "progressive" Marxists.

I don't trust the electorate anymore. Right next door to me, North Carolina on one side and Georgia on the other, the brain dead vermin are getting ready to vote Kay Hagan right back into the Senate, where she votes 96 percent of the time in favor of Obama's Fascist-Marxist programs. And down in Georgia is yet another Obama-Clinton worshipper waiting in the wings, Michelle Nunn. If they do this in North Carolina and Georgia, then I will no longer be able to hold out any hope for the salvation of this nation as a Constitutional Republic based on human liberty.

Don't even try to come out with your rank stench of horse ca ca by claiming you hate Obama but enthusiastically support Nunn, Hagan, Joni Ernst in Iowa, or Greg Orman of Kansas, who claims he is an "independent" but is actually being pushed by Harry Reid and the Democratic Party. Your actions speak louder than words, and your votes for these persons only prove you are one of the Obama vermin who are actually destroying this country as we know it.

Why would I want to live in such a society? What am I fighting for? The populace acts as though it does not care. Another group cares but wants the hope and change horse ca ca of Obama. Those who truly want to restore the Republic are few and far between.

Huh? You protest that last statement? Then PROVE IT. Get out there and refuse to vote for any Democrat in any race. And get your family, friends, and neighbors to do the same thing. By all means VOTE! But don't cast your vote for a single Democrat if you want to help your country survive.

I get very tired of having to do this. But as long as I am breathing I can't help it. To me, to live is Christ first and foremost, and then to seek to restore the Founders' vision for a free society based on maximum individual liberty. The thing is, I get worn out fighting for these things. And this is one of the reasons I feel that my time may be short on this earth.

If this is true, am I scared? Not one bit. I used to be afraid of death. Not anymore. One day I noticed it went away, and I had the clearest message from Christ saying that death is no big deal, only a door that leads straight to His arms. So, I am not afraid at all. When my time comes, I will be excited to look up and see the face of Jesus.

In the meantime, I will fight even if it is limited to this computer. And if one day you awaken and find the news that I am no more, well, I will be safe in the arms of Christ in a place far, far away from wicked human beings who make life miserable for the rest of us.

Inept bungling of Ebola by Feds part of a pattern

One thing that can be said about the Obama Administration's handling of the Ebola outbreak in the United States is that from the very beginning it has been a comedy of errors. But the comedy inherent to the Administration's handling of the crisis has been anything but funny. It's reactionary stance to a deadly disease has been a tragic, deadly, and lackadaisical response that has caused millions of Americans to have even more distrust of their government than ever before.

Flap between Houston mayor and pastors confirm suspicions

The city of Houston, Texas elected an openly gay mayor in 2010, Annise Parker. The mayor, a Democrat and a lesbian who is apparently afflicted with a very thin skin, decided this month to go after Houston pastors who sometimes preach against homosexuality. She then apparently initiated a program of intimidation and bullying by using the power of the court and the local city attorney, David Feldman, to threaten the pastors.
Thus, subpoenas were issued by the city attorney to at least five Houston pastors, demanding that they turn over to the mayor's office their sermons so that city officials could scrutinize the sermons for any negative mention of homosexuality.

Democrats to lose Senate? Not so fast...

Sometime, somewhere years ago the following quote, tucked away in a book long forgotten, was discovered that packed more unvarnished truth into one simple sentence than that which is contained in most lengthy treatises. "During times of great evil and political corruption," it said, "Never underestimate the willingness or the ability of unscrupulous politicians to gain the upper hand and retain power, with the full consent of most unsuspecting citizens."

Putrid vermin

Just a heads up, folks. Unless conservatives double and triple their efforts, the putrid vermin of the Democratic (Marxist-Fascist) Party will retain control of the Senate. Believe it or not, your fellow citizens who are brain dead are ready to vote the vermin right back in.

Some of the following have sufficiently fooled their constituencies into supporting them, although they are as dangerous and moronic as Barack Obama himself. Others don't have much of a chance at winning, but they deserve the dunce cap honorable mention just for the heck of it. And that goes double for the citizens who vote for them.

Wendy Davis, Democratic candidate for Governor of Texas. This "lady" is one of the most despicable human beings I have ever encountered in all my years following politics. She just sank to a new low in a TV ad that attacks her Republican opponent, who is in a wheelchair and partially paralyzed due to the fact that a large tree limb fell on him while he was out jogging years ago. This worthless piece of human excrement (Davis) had better be watching the sky and the trees constantly. One day she may find that Divine retribution for her words will mean she herself will be paralyzed. Karma can sometimes be quite a bitch, even much worse of a bitch than Davis herself. YES, I SAID IT AND I MEANT IT!!

Kay Hagan, the Democrat running for reelection to the U.S. Senate from North Carolina, could aptly be described as "liar extraordinaire." She claims she is the most "moderate member of the Senate." But the record shows she voted with the Obama agenda to destroy America 96 percent of the time. Does North Carolina really want to send back to Washington a Senator who is such a slave to her lord and master Barry Soetoro, alias Barack Obama?

Mark Pryor, the Democrat running for reelection to the U.S. Senate from Arkansas -- another wolf in sheep's clothes who can put on a Oscar performance that rivals anything Peter O'Toole did as an actor. "But he's so nice, and such a fine upstanding Christian," some poor misled little old ladies in Arkansas have been heard to say. Oh really now? With Pryor, we have yet another Obama slave. He votes with the occupant of the Oval Office the vast majority of the time while fooling his constituents into believing he is a "conservative Democrat," which is an oxymoron. Pryor, like Hagan, will probably go right back in this November. Thank your brain dead fellow citizens if that happens. There is no excuse anymore for people being that uninformed.

Gov. Dannel Malloy, D-Conn., one of the tyrannical opportunists who took a tragedy in order to push a political agenda that would rob citizens of their gun rights, faces Tom Foley, the Republican who refuted Malloy's charges that he would repeal the oppressive new gun laws. Foley responded by saying he never promised to repeal but that the law that was passed does not make Connecticut safer. OK, so here we may have two birds of a feather. This IS Connecticut, after all, and we will not get a governor out of there -- or Senators either -- who support the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. But I sure would like for Malloy to get whacked, BAD, at the polls. That worthless piece of stench.

Mass voter fraud is said to be afoot in Colorado as U.S. Sen. Mark Udall faces challenger, Republican Cory Gardner. Dozens of elections officials say that the new voter laws in the state create a ripe scenario for widespread election fraud -- all of which will help Democrats. This is one state where partisanship is a must. Colorado needs to oust its Governor and most of the Democrats in the legislature. They shoved outrageous gun control laws down the throats of citizens in spite of massive citizen protests and polls that showed the public did not want these laws.

Did I mention that Democrat Mary Landrieu of Louisiana needs to be sent packing too? Well, she does whether I said it or not. She has been a blight on the state and needs to be put out to pasture for good.

There are others that need highlighting, but I swear, I get sick and tired of dealing with it sometimes. To hell with 'em all. And to hell with the voters who put them in office!

Speaking of being bitten by the 'black dog',,,

Mike Vanderboegh has written several times on his blog of late that he is being hounded by "the black dog." The term is an old expression that is used to denote depression or being in an emotional funk. I know the feeling. I have struggled with it greatly of late but never said anything about it.

Most of the time people struggle with the black dog for good reason. Mike, for example, has struggled with severe health issues over the last two years, including cancer, life threatening surgery, and treatments. That is enough to put anyone in an emotional funk.

In my case, I have tried as best I could to describe to you my travails concerning my eyes. Although we finally got rid of this last bout with inflammation, the struggle with the underlying disease process is ongoing and has not subsided one bit. This means that from time to time I will be hit with eye inflammation, since the inflammatory condition that besets me is ongoing. The struggle with my eyes has been going on, on and off, for six years. Imagine yourself having to undergo extensive eye exams and procedures for six years, sometimes two or three times per year. And then imagine being told by your eye specialist that it was a good thing you got intense treatment when you did, because if you had ignored it you would probably be blind by now.

That in itself is enough to plunge a person into some significant depression.

And then I look ahead to the future, and what do I see? If the eyes finally become immune to the inflammatory process after years of treatments and surgery, that in no way addresses the rest of it. This stuff could set up shop in any organ it chooses -- lungs, heart, pancreas, liver, kidneys, bladder, reproductive organs, and the like. Is this what I have to look forward to next?

I am also discouraged that the eye specialist told me last week that he thinks we ought to wait for the surgery until late next year, IF the inflammation stays out of my eyes. Well, I was ready to go ahead and get the surgery behind me. But now we are on a holding pattern yet again.

And then I look at what once was a great nation, and I see nothing on the horizon but pain, woe, oppression, and slavery to the centralized government leviathan. My fellow citizens as a whole seem to want to head in this direction in spite of their anger and protests. Why would I say that? Because they keep sending back to Congress the likes of Harry Reid, Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, Barbara Boxer, Dianne Feinstein, Gerold Nadler, Corine Brown, Sheila Jackson Lee, Bernie Sanders, Patrick Leahy, Mary Landrieu, Mark Pryor, and a ton of other collectivist Marxists who believe in government sanctioned theft. They want to reach into my pockets and take my money against my will in order to give to people that I don't want to have it. I don't want to pay for your healthcare. I don't want to make my hard earned money so government can take it and give it to you, enabling you to get an abortion at Planned Parenthood. If you want an abortion, YOU pay for it. And if Planned Parenthood wants to do abortions, let them use their own money instead of taking mine in the form of subsidies. I don't want my taxes subsidizing Planned Parenthood.

But this is not even the half of it. Criminals now run the prison that is known as the federal government. I don't want a single nickel of my money going to them. I don't want to subsidize the IRS that turns around and retaliates against me because I am a conservative. I don't want a dime of my money going to the ATF that sent our guns to cartel drug criminals in Mexico but opposes the right of American citizens to keep and bear arms. I don't want a government that is so sensitive to criticism going after my free speech rights because I call them vermin, roaches, thugs, liars, and pieces of human garbage. They ARE all of these things. So live with it. And live with my forcing you to hear the truth about yourselves. After all, I pay your salaries, and you work for ME.

Sure, we can keep on trying to change things through the ballot box. But do you honestly think that is going to change anything? Your fellow citizens in Frisco are going to keep sending Vermin Pelosi back to Congress, year after year. California is going to continue to make a bee line toward Communism. So is New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, Illinois, and Colorado. And most of the citizens in those areas leap with glee over it.

So no, I do not have much to celebrate. I am grumpy, grouchy, and difficult. I don't have much hope for the country outside an all out civil war to TAKE back what the "progressives" stole from us. And even then I am not sure it would work. So yes, I am held in the grip of the black dog. And from this vantage point at present, I have good reason to be.

Levin: 'The Constitutional Republic is gone'

Excerpt:
But as time has passed since the early 1900s, the violations of the spirit and letter of the Constitution have only intensified. Gun rights have been targeted with a vengeance. So have private property rights. The freedom of religious expression has been restricted. The press is now nothing more than the mouthpiece of the Administration, failing to do the most elementary tasks of the media in a free society. Freedom of speech has been rolled back with the "politically correct" movement that has muzzled the free and plain exchange of ideas. And freedom of assembly is now a joke as police departments enforce illegal "free speech zones"...

Zelman Partisans

The aftermath and consequence of the financial woes of Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership (JPFO), which led to its being absorbed by the Gottlieb conglomerate, has also led to a new website called Zelman Partisans. You will notice that The Liberty Sphere has added the new site to our preferred links in the left column, under the heading "Websites."

We will still list Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership as always, as long as it remains true to its founder's views and objectives, the late great Aaron Zelman. But we also support the new site, Zelman Partisans, as a remnant of JPFO under Zelman.

We welcome Zelman Partisans to The Liberty Sphere.

Reese case an example of citizens targeted on political grounds

When the Examiner reported on Wednesday that citizens are being jailed on trumped up charges, critics debunked the story as a fabrication. Their reason? No names were given. Sources were anonymous for various reasons. The claim was made that a legitimate news story, reported in accordance with "authorized journalists" with journalism degrees, would not rely on anonymous sources. Such a claim is false...

Pssst. It's me!

I'm back. Got good news from the eye specialist. The inflammation has cleared up in both eyes. I am thankful to the Lord for this news.

This bout was the worst yet. The inflammation was stubborn and did not want to cooperate with steroidal eyedrops and injections. Over the past five or six years or so, these bouts have been bad enough, but none have been as stubborn as this recent bout. This only goes to show me how inflammation can be sometimes. It is very unpleasant and slow to respond. Other times it clears right up in a couple of weeks.

Anyway, as of yesterday, we are all clear. Now, the real problem here is the underlying cause of the inflammation. That is another story in and of itself. Suffice it to say it is a systemic condition that can effect multiple bodily systems. So far only two, one of which is my eyes, have been effected. But due diligence is always necessary.

Thank you for your prayers and kind words during these past few months. Right now I got a reprieve, but there is a lot going on internally that has nothing to do with the eyes. As for the eye surgery I will need, we are going to put that off for a bit longer until we see how all of this goes. I will keep you posted.

Citizens jailed on trumped up charges a foretaste of coming woes

Several trusted friends with significant contacts in the federal government have reported that they personally know of many citizens who are sitting in jail on trumped up charges, all the result of retaliatory actions on the part of the federal government. The reason? The only reasonable explanation is that the current administration and its enablers in Congress seem determined to punish those who run afoul of what the Washington elitists deem to be the politically correct manner of speaking and behaving in the new world order.

The other side

A heads up for my friends and readers here. Over at Drudge today there is an entire section on the other side of the Ebola debate. A significant number of medical and scientific experts on Ebola now say that the virus is much easier to transmit than previously thought.

In short, as all viruses, it mutates as it goes along, as it moved from the bush to the city in Africa, and as it moved from Africa to the United States and Europe. Some medical authorities say that it may now even be airborne...another reason not to trust the CDC, the UN, or the Obama Administration.

DHS to intensify attacks on freedom oriented citizens

Within the last two weeks several tips came into the Examiner indicating pending dangers to certain groups of citizens. These tips led to a source who, speaking on condition of anonymity, alleges that just after the election a major initiative will be launched against citizens whose values are diametrically opposite to that of Barack Obama and the current Washington elitist leadership in Congress. According to the source, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) will greatly intensify its attacks on freedom oriented citizens.

Evening...

Hiya, folks. Just a heads up that I will be posting an Examiner article this evening. I am running late as you can see, late as all get-out. But I am here, and I am of a mind to write. Hope you all are well.

By the way, the comprehensive follow up exam on my eyes is this week. I could use your prayers.

'Obama's disease' has infested all of government including CDC

Americans can add yet another organization of the federal government to the list of entities that cannot be trusted. The latest addition is the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). The agency has demonstrated in recent days that at the very least it has issued misleading statements about the Ebola outbreak.

The lesson AIDS teaches us about Ebola

I remember all too well when the AIDS crisis first hit the United States. In order to keep people from panic, all sorts of erroneous information was reported by nurses, healthcare professionals, and others. "You can't get it from this, that, or the other," they said.

Actually there is a lot they don't know about illnesses that are relatively new to the United States. Before AIDS was adequately understood, the pronouncements from the "experts" about it were way premature. I even heard a Master's Degree level nurse with my own ears stated that AIDS is "very hard to get," and that you have to come into contact with an infected person, such as through sex, over and over and over to put yourself at risk. BULL. Later it was confirmed you could get it after engaging in sex with an infected person ONCE.

We are hearing the same things about Ebola. "It is hard to catch." "It is very difficult to spread." If this is true, how is it that a cameraman for NBC News got it while reporting from Liberia?

I wouldn't trust the CDC any more than I do DHS, the EPA, the ATF, or the Obama White House. Protect yourself any way you see fit until we know more about this illness.

An update on the dreaded inflammation: I've given a name to my pain, and it is inflammation

Evening, folks. Just a brief word about the eyes. I had a setback today. It feels and looks like some inflammation is still lurking in there. I am nowhere near as bad as when this started a few months ago, but any step backward is discouraging to say the least. I could use your prayers.

Next week I go back for the comprehensive follow up. So, we shall see.

A lot is happening in our country right now. It is uncanny, even mysteriously unlikely, that all of these things would be coming together all at once. One or two coincidences would be easier to swallow. But a dozen or more? Nahhh. Too much of this smacks of sinister human manipulation, even the manner in which the Ebola virus has invaded our country. And in spite of even that, Obama doubles down on his open borders strategy, essentially announcing to any terrorist or bioterrorist, "Here we are, come on in!" What complete demonic blob of humanity!

I have some info that I am sitting on, waiting for the right time to report it. As always, Obama worshippers will dismiss it outright, right out of the starting gate. Others will claim that "this is not news" -- another common mantra of the "progressives." Don't listen to them. They are evil and they intend evil.

More about that at the right time.

Moms Demand Action urges murders of open carry gun owners

One of the advocacy groups that has sprung up in recent years to support the disarmament of citizens is Moms Demand Action. But other than supporting legal efforts to deprive citizens of their constitutional rights, some of the members of the group have taken an ominous turn by urging the murder of gun owners who engage in open carry.

Time to dismantle US academia

In light of the fact that academia in the United States has become a hotbed of extremist indoctrination, it is time to dismantle the power, reach, and influence of major universities in America. They are no longer needed and society would be better off without them.
Modern America is replete with opportunities to obtain higher education apart from costly traditional universities.

Ron Paul says secession in US inevitable

In an interview with the National Journal today, former U.S. Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas, stated that he supported the attempt by citizens in Scotland to secede from the U.K. He further believes that secession is inevitable in the United States due to the continuing failure of the federal government to stay within the boundaries the Framers delineated in the U.S. Constitution.

Music for the ages

Perhaps the best known and most beloved of Russian composer Tchaikovsky's works is his moving 1812 Overture. The work is based on the war between France and Russia in 1812 and is an appeal to God to save Tchaikovsky's people in Russia and their Czar from being conquered by the French. That war predated the Bolshevik (Communist) revolution in Russia by nearly a century.

Within the work Tchaikovsky draws from both the Russian national anthem and the French national anthem. The piece begins with a brief choral introduction that is quite moving, the prayer on behalf of the Russian people. You will hear mega-deep notes on the part of the bass vocalists.

This rendition of the work is presented by Eugene Ormandy and the Philadelphia Orchestra, and it is perhaps the greatest recording of all among the various renditions of the 1812 Overture. Ormandy pulls out all of the stops, utilizing the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, the pipe organ, and the cannons firing and bells ringing at the end, which was recorded by Ormandy and the orchestra at Valley Forge, using the Valley Forge Military Academy Band.

You must hear this. You will not be sorry. And if you can listen without being deeply moved, there's something wrong with you. Click on the photo below to listen.

Dems start the blame game again

Most Americans are well beyond the stage where blaming George W. Bush for the nation's woes seems to have a least some validity. Eventually the citizens caught on to the fact that to persist in blaming a former president for current problems is not only totally unreasonable but points to a major ulterior motive on the part of those who insist on continuing such a blame game.
Take the recent announcement that Attorney General Eric Holder will be resigning as soon as a new attorney general is chosen and confirmed by the Senate.

Obama continues the blame game

The petulant child that occupies the Oval Office continues his blame game as he
"explains" to 60 Minutes' Steve Croft how the administration missed something as powerful and dangerous as ISIS. This time, however, he had sense enough not to blame Bush. Rather, he blamed his own intelligence-gathering apparatus.

Obama said that the intelligence community, headed by James Clapper, missed all the signals of a new type of terrorist as depicted in ISIS. He further claimed that they grossly overestimated the ability of the Iraqi army to defend itself once Obama pulled out all U.S. troops.

First, Obama flat-out lied. His commanders on the ground all told him that the United States needed to keep a residual force of troops in the region even after we withdrew. This was due to one reason alone -- they all knew that without that support we would lose back to extremists all of the ground we had gained in the Iraqi War. Obama ignored them.

Second, Obama flat-out lied again when he stated that the intelligence community "missed" all the signals that a new and much stronger terrorist organization was rising in the region by the name of ISIS. False again. Earlier last week the administration, including the White House press secretary, stated that the military, the CIA, the State Department, and others had been monitoring ISIS for TWO YEARS! So not only did they know but they tracked them.

But this brings us to an even more important question -- if all of these agencies in the administration knew all about ISIS, why did they fail to stop them? One would think that something as barbaric and dangerous as this group would necessitate a quick, decisive military response that would decapitate the serpent before they started on a head-chopping spree against Christians, Jews, and moderate Muslims in the region.

Did you see the latest shenanigans in Texas?

The last time I wrote about the concerted effort on the part of progressives and Democrats to turn Texas from red to blue elicited some strong reaction from residents in the state. "Over my dead body," one declared. "Don't mess with Texas," said another.

While I am glad that many Texas citizens see the threat and are taking steps to counteract it, I am also aware that the progressive underground is hard at work ignoring them and pushing forward to take the state, even if they must break the law to do so.

Remember, this is how progressives make inroads into conservative territory. Voter fraud and election tampering is in their DNA. And this is why honest citizens cannot afford to hope for the best by assuming all people are as trustworthy as we are. A word to the wise.

And as this news article shows, the dirty rotten electioneers of the progressive cabal are working overtime in Texas. Beware, patriots!
