Citizen Assault on Washington!

Let the record show that this day, September 1, 2009, is DAY ONE of the citizen assault on Washington.

The lamebrains in Congress are going to renew the push for government-run healthcare by removing the 'public option' and promoting it in Ted Kennedy's name.

No matter. The provisions of the Waxman Committee bill in the House still amount to government-run healthcare, even without the public option.

The details are at Columbia Conservative Examiner.

Time for a top-to-bottom housecleaning in 2010!

ALERT! Dems Scheme to Vote on HC by Friday

This is a special alert.

ALERT! Watch These in Congress Very Closely!

With the present undercurrent of secret deals and negotiations by the single most corrupt Congress in U.S. History, the following elected representatives should be watched very carefully...to keep them honest (if that is possible).

Stealthy negotiations are under way to give Americans a multi-trillion dollar govt takeover of healthcare that they do not want.

Here are some of the sleazy, underhanded 'negotiators' to watch:

In the House: Henry Waxman, Nancy Pelosi, Steny Hoyer, John Conyers, and ALL blue dog Democrats who seem to be in a 'compromise' mode.

In the Senate: Max Baucus of Montana, Chuck Grassley, Olympia Snowe, Jeff Bingaman, Kent Conrad, Mike Enzi, John McCain, Lindsey Graham, Susan Collins.

These 'power brokers' need to be monitored carefully. They will give us a version of Obamacare-lite in the name of 'compromise.'

This is totally unacceptable.

ALERT! Waxman, Pelosi, RINOS Will Try to Ram Healthcare Bill Through

2 special news alert items just came in concerning the Obama plan for a government takeover of healthcare.

Henry Waxman says a bill will be ready by Wednesday, and Pelosi says she will schedule a vote for Friday if this comes to fruition.

Second, secret negotiations have been occurring in a Senate panel concerning a compromise healthcare bill that both Democrats and RINOS can support.

Free Market Solutions for Healthcare

One of the things you have not heard much about in the current debate raging over the nation's healthcare is that free market solutions exist, and they work.

Barack Obama and the Democrats, however, had just as soon you not be aware of those wonderful alternatives...not even the so-called 'blue dog Dems' who are themselves proposing a version of 'government takeover light.'

Read my latest discussion of these solutions in my column today at Columbia Conservative Examiner, entitled, 'Free Market Solutions to Healthcare, but What Will the Blue Dogs Do?'

Spread the word!

Beware the Obama De-Funding of Medicare

50 billion in cuts to Medicare for Seniors is only the first step in Obamacare. The plan is to phase it out entirely, forcing Seniors onto the rationing inherent in the multi-trillion dollar Obama-Democrat plan for socialized medicine!

Read all about it at Columbia Conservative Examiner!

The clincher--the Obama healthcare plan is actually a weeding out process for the nation's sick and elderly! Don't be fooled!

"Lies, Damn Lies, and Health Care"

Studies already show the legislation's eroding popularity, as citizens find out the problems inherent in socialized medicine, the tax increases necessary to finance it, and the deception politicians use to inflate the number of uninsured Americans.

(From the article 'Lies, Damn Lies, and Healthcare' in Front Page Magazine).

Make no mistake about it, the Obama Administration and Democrats on the Hill are lying about the numbers of uninsured Americans in order to falsely justify dismantling our present healthcare system in lieu of a government-controlled form of socialized medicine.

The costs to the taxpayers are astronomical, the problems with the plan are insurmountable, and the deception used to market the program is inexcusable.

Read all about it in this special report at Front Page Magazine.

It's All OK, Right?

Allowing government intruders to invade our homes and force vaccinations on an unsuspecting public, as contained in the provisions of the 'Obamacare-Democrat' healthcare bill, is all just hunky-dory, isn't it.

I mean, who would mind being told you MUST take a shot if you have egg allergies, for example, or that you have a moral-ethical objection to taking a vaccine produced with human embryos.

I suppose we'll just have tell our kids, grandkids, and elderly that 'it's all OK.'

The Best Healthcare System in the World

Before we go running headlong into the abyss of government-run healthcare, we had best first consider 10 documented facts which show that our own U.S. system of private care is far superior to those countries with socialized, national, government-run care.

And this is my topic of discussion today at Columbia Conservative Examiner.

I would deeply appreciate your reading it and passing it along to others. Thanks!

LIBERTY ALERT! Pelosi Introduces Socialized Care

Word has come this afternoon that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has stated that the new bill introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives on healthcare will include a provision mandating government control.

Thus, the dire predictions of so-called 'alarmists' who warned of sinister intentions behind the push for 'healthcare reform' are turning out to be 100% correct.

This bill is not simply about expanding 'access' to care for uninsured Americans. This is an outright attempt to insure that government runs the healthcare system, or in other words, 'socialized medicine.'

Obama's 'Health Summit'

Don't let anyone fool you into thinking that due to budget constraints and the recession, Obama has therefore put his plans to socialize healthcare on the back burner. The first sign that the plan is still very much near the top of the list is the fact that it was included in the 'stimulus bill' as a rider.

But Obama will take another step toward fulfilling his goal by holding a major White House 'Health Summit' next week.

According to a report in The Hill, Obama intends to send a clear signal that 'healthcare reform' is still a top priority.

And by the way, 'healthcare reform' is simply a code word for more spending and the intention of setting up a national health czar to oversee the spending habits of the nation's medical providers.

It would be wise to watch this development very closely.

Healthcare Rationing Hidden in Stimulus Bill

As we have warned previously, hidden in the 1.2 trillion dollar Obama-Democrat pork spending bill is a provision for healthcare rationing as the nation moves toward socialized medical care.

But now a U.S. Senator is on the case and calling for citizens 'taking to the streets' to protest the bill, particularly this horrific provision that will ration care for senior adults who are deemed too old and sick to get expensive medications and treatment.

And this is the subject of my column today at Columbia Conservative Examiner.

Few people were aware that the Democrats slipped in this provision in their rush to get the bill passed with little debate, and without giving members time to read the 1000-page document.

The shocking provision mandates a 'national healthcare coordinator' who will be looking over your doctor's shoulders to make sure he doesn't spend too much in your care, particularly if you are deemed too old or sick to 'justify' the expenditures.

This is one of the most important columns I have written yet at the Examiner. Read it, spread the word, and then get ready to join the nationwide protest!

Mr. Obama, Where is That in the Constitution?

When asked a question about the subject from a member of the audience in the debate Tuesday night, Barack Obama stated that 'health care is a right.'

Methinks Barack has caught 'John Edwards' disease'--that dreaded malady that leads politicians who should know better to claim that things such as having Internet access, automatic U.S. citizenship, and health care are inherent, basic human rights.

Edwards declared back during the primaries that gun rights, for example, do not constitute a 'right,' but that having access to the Internet is such a right. He also claimed that every human being has the basic right to U.S. citizenship.

Funny that Edwards totally ignored the Constitution, which specifically states that gun rights are necessary to a free society. I suppose all of those other supposed 'rights' he mentioned are written in invisible ink, along with the part that says committing infanticide is a basic right because of 'right to privacy.'

The thing that makes this even more unacceptable is that both Edwards and Obama are lawyers--trained in some of the top law schools in the country. In short, they should know better.

Mr. Obama, where in the Constitution does it state that having health care is a basic human right?

The first 10 amendments to the U.S. Constitution are commonly known as 'the Bill of Rights' because they delineate the basic liberties individual citizens have in a free society.

The words 'freedom' and 'liberty' carry the connotation that individuals are set loose from government oppression and bondage. Thus, we have the 'right' to free speech rather than suppressed speech. We have the right to practice our religion openly and without government interference. We have the right to a Press that is free from the shackles of a government that only wants certain things reported to the citizens.

In other words, these basic individual rights do not require that our fellow citizens give anything up, nor do they imply that government 'grants' or 'gives' these rights at some expense that the government must tax the citizens to pay for. To the contrary, these rights cost society nothing. Our fellow citizens pay nothing in order for us to have them.

These rights are inherent to being human. They are God-given. Government can only recognize and protect these rights, or suppress them.

To place healthcare in this category does a great disservice to the terms 'liberty' and 'freedom.' We are already free to pursue healthcare in a variety of ways. But to say it is an inherent right means that the citizens must pay for someone else to be given their healthcare. None of our basic inherent rights cost others in this manner. You are not charged a tax on your income in order for me to be able to speak my mind freely.

Thus, healthcare in no way denotes freedom of any kind. It is a service that somebody must pay for. And if the individual does not pay for it, then his/her fellow citizens must pay for this service if we believe that all human beings should have it.

Government must then confiscate the money I earn from hard work, sweat, and sometimes pain, in order to pay for the healthcare of those who either choose not to go out and seek it for themselves or cannot do so because of some limitation.

We have safeguards in place for those with such limitations.

But for society to mandate a service be given to all citizens has nothing to do with rights. It is another social program designed by government to provide a service at a cost to the taxpayers.

And even then, it is a big mistake to assume that everyone in such a society will automatically be given healthcare. In nations where the government owns and operates the healthcare system and assumes that healthcare is a 'right,' rationing takes place due to the sheer overload. The demand far outweighs society's ability to pay. Thus, somebody, somewhere, is still going to get shortchanged because decisions are then made as to who is 'most worthy' to receive care based upon some pre-set criteria.

In Canada and the U.K., for example, you may be deemed too old or too sick to receive a heart by-pass, or a pacemaker, or even an artificial hip. Even in the event you are deemed worthy of the care, you may have to wait 10 months or longer to get much-needed surgery.

It is therefore correct to surmise that even in those nations that claim healthcare should be given to all as a basic right, in practice it never happens. It is impossible for it to happen. The reason is m-o-n-e-y. Even in the most Socialist of countries, money is not an infinite commodity. The care that is given is limited by the amount of money available to the government from the citizens. If that money dries up, even the government doesn't have the means to take care of every single citizen, as many have discovered to their shock in Europe.

Even under normal conditions those governments do not have the money to care for every single citizen.

For these reasons the notion of 'free healthcare' or 'the right to healthcare' is based upon a false premise. There is no such thing. We already live in a society where individuals are free to pursue and obtain their care either by purchasing it, getting a job where the employer purchases it, or by relying on various government and community programs to help if they cannot afford it.

But to claim that a service that costs megabucks is a 'right' is simply the height of ignorance.

It is for this reason that Obama is just as ignorant about the Constitution as his running mate Joe Biden, and their ex-rival for the Democratic nomination, John Edwards.

The Hillary Bombshell on Healthcare

Just prior to the Super Tuesday vote during which at least half of American voters will participate in their Party's state primaries, Hillary Rodham Clinton dropped a bombshell of gargantuan proportions on healthcare.

The candidate stated in an interview that she would consider garnishing the wages of those citizens who fail to purchase health insurance.

So you think Socialized Medicine, Hillarycare style, wouldn't be a nightmare? Just wait till she unleashes her plan to force all Americans to buy health insurance one way or another, including taking part of your wages to do so before you even get your paycheck.

And this is whether you want such insurance or not. There is NO CHOICE under Hillarycare.

Here is the story;
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080203/ap_on_el_pr/campaign_rdp_31
