Evan Bayh Throws Down Gauntlet on '08 Election

U.S. Senator Evan Bayh, D-Indiana, threw down the gauntlet on the 2008 Presidential, Senatorial, and Congressional elections Sunday by stating that 'this will be a referendum on the Iraq War.'

The Senator's brief statement could well sum up the campaign strategy of the Democratic Party in 2008.

Sensing that Americans have assessed the failures of the Democratic Congress in fulfilling campaign promises in 2006, i.e., the shameless pork barrel spending and the failure to do something about earmarks, the corruption and scandal revolving around key Democratic members of Congress, and the failure of Democrats to unite on the subject of Iraq, apparently the Democrats have decided that the only way they can win is to run once again on the weaknesses of the Bush war plan in Iraq.

In describing the campaign strategy envisioned by the Democrats, Mr. Bayh stated that 'Americans want a change of direction and strategy in Iraq, and they sense that if they vote for Republicans they will be voting to continue the course set by President Bush.'

The thing that Mr. Bayh is describing is essentially a replay of the 2006 election strategy employed by the Democrats. They made the 2006 Congressional and Senatorial elections a referendum on the Iraq War, and they won.

They are hoping that lightening will strike twice in the same place.

It is essential, however, to consider one key variable. Despite the Democrats' insistence that the 2006 elections were all about the Iraq War, the 2006 elections were not all about the Iraq War.

The explanation that Republicans lost Congress due to the Iraq War is a rather simplistic one. In actuality, they lost because of several high-level scandals, the last of which occurred just weeks before the election, and because of the failure of Republicans to be real Republicans.

Jack Abramoff and Mark Foley hurt Republicans badly. And the voters decided that Republicans needed to be punished at the polls. This time, however, the Democrats are sorely mistaken if they think the voters will be any kinder to them in light of their own scandals, which are many. Norman Hsu waits in the wings to wreak havoc on any number of key Democrats, and he is only the tip of the iceberg.

Further, the Republican controlled Congress of 2004-06 dug its own grave by refusing to address out-of-control spending, which ran up huge budget deficits. Traditionally Republicans have insisted on balanced budgets and controlled government spending.

The fact that Republicans failed to be real Republicans cost them at the polls. As Republican Presidential hopeful Mike Huckabee states, 'Because of the fact that we did not deliver on our promises, the American people fired us.'

It is already abundantly clear that the Democratic Congress has failed to deliver on its promises. Can they really expect the American people to be any kinder to them than they were to Republicans in 2006?

These are key issues that could well tip the scales in favor of Republicans in 2008.

But the road is fraught with danger at every turn. The Iraq War will be a major issue for good or ill. Republicans cannot win by merely talking about the successes we have had, and it is abundantly clear that we have had many successes. And yes, we love our troops, and they have performed magnificently. However, we must go far beyond that.

Any Republican strategy for victory must acknowledge the failures of the Bush administration in conducting this war from 2002 until the summer of 2007. The surge has worked, but the things we were doing prior to 2007 were a recipe for disaster.

Further, a Republican strategy for victory must include a clearly stated objective with a clearly stated step-by-step plan to win this thing outright, and then gradually get the troops out.

More than likely, a winning Democratic strategy will involve the very same thing, though they would be loathe to admit it. And thus, the Republican and Democratic strategies will be more or less the same, with the expected differences in semantics.

The bottom line? The Republicans can win. And the odds are much more in their favor than Newt Gingrich's prediction of 80-20 odds in favor of the Democrats.

Feinstein Scandal Won't Go Away Despite Media Blackout

Washington, DC (TLS). The Dianne Feinstein conflict of interest scandal that led to her husband's pocketing of millions of dollars' worth of government contracts is not going away, say government watchdog groups.

In spite of the mainstream media blackout of the story, and the Democrat-controlled Senate's attempt to hide it, this scandal just keeps building steam.

According to California law, the funds that went to the spouse of Senator Feinstein are considered to be hers as well as her husbands, according to a legal statute known as 'community property law,' which maintains that all benefits, assets, and profits accumulated by one partner in a marriage is considered the joint property of both spouses.

This means, in short, that by channeling government contracts to her husband's companies, not only was Feinstein helping her husband's businesses, but she was helping herself...a clear conflict of interest.

Dems Condemn Supreme Court Ban of Barbarism

Washington, DC (TLS). In a stunning victory for pro-life forces, the United States Supreme Court yesterday banned a procedure that critics have long designated as an unnecessary, gruesome, and barbaric attack against unborn children.

The high court banned the procedure known as 'partial birth abortions,' a late-term procedure during which the child is partially delivered, killed by drilling a hole in its head and sucking out the brain, and then delivering the rest of the child dead.

Republican Presidential candidates praised the decision of the Court.

Democrats, on the other hand, condemned it.

U.S. Senator Diane Feinstein, D-California, took to the floor of the Senate to deliver a lengthy diatribe against the court's decision, claiming that it took away all the progress toward 'women's rights' that we have made over the past 30 years.

Excuse me, Senator, but how does a ban on barbarism set back human rights? In addition, you should be under arrest at this very moment in order to face charges of war profiteering--a scheme during which you sent to your husband's companies millions of dollars' worth of military construction contracts while you were the Chair of the very committee that approved those contracts.

Hillary Clinton, as expected, condemned the decision, as did Barack Hussein Obama. No surprises there.

John Edwards, however, issued a most stinging rebuke, stated that he 'could not disagree more strongly' with the decision.

In that one single statement alone, Edwards betrayed his upbringing and the values of his home state of South Carolina. As a native of Seneca, which is located in the upstate of S.C. where people value faith, freedom, the rule of law, and traditional family values, Edwards demonstrated today he has little regard for those values.

Let the record show for all to see that every single Democratic candidate for President is on the record for supporting one of the most blood-thirsty, gruesome, chilling, and barbaric procedures ever devised in the demented minds of abortion doctors.

Justifiable Outrage

Durham, NC (TLS). Despite the excellent news that all charges against the three Duke lacrosse students falsely accused are being dropped, including a strongly-worded proclamation of innocence by the North Carolina Attorney-General, there is no celebrating in Durham on the part of the lives disrupted and nearly ruined by the fiasco.

Instead there is outrage. And this outrage is justifiable.

Three innocent young men--David Evans, Collin Finnerty and Reade Seligmann--were dragged through the absolute worst nightmare of their lives by being accused of crimes they did not commit, thus robbing them of a full year of student life, normal activity, and the pursuit of future professional employment. Their good names and reputations were not only sullied but dragged through the mud as an entire community it seemed united behind proclaiming them guilty.

And this was not even a case of guilty until proven innocent, as tyrannical as that is. They were proclaimed guilty, and in the minds of many there was no use in even having a trial at all. The court of public opinion had already issued its verdict--guilty no matter what the evidence or the facts say.

Certain special interest groups with a very well-known agenda came together with local personalities and entities as co-conspirators in this miscarriage of justice--Mike Nifong and the Durham D.A.'s office, the Durham Police Department, the Durham criminal justice system, the Durham Democratic Party, Duke University, the infamous 'group of 88' faculty members of Duke, the NAACP, the North Carolina Democratic Party, and certain members of the press and certain websites devoted to stirring up the pot bangers.

All of them now have egg all over their faces, in spite of their frantic attempts to appear delighted that the three students were proclaimed innocent.

Some of the co-conspirators, however, are still spouting their hateful venom. At least they are consistent if not very smart.

The fact that this entire affair has now been shown to be a hoax from top to bottom is a chilling microcosm of the state of the criminal justice system in America today. As devastating as this has been for the three young men and their families, who have suffered unfathomable emotional and financial loss, think of what would have happened had the three students come from families of meager means. They would have been totally overwhelmed and swallowed up by a system engaged in a legal equivalent of the story of David and Goliath, except in this case Goliath would have smashed David with his foot.

Had the accused been from a poor or lower-middle-class background, the massive machine of the North Carolina justice system would have engulfed them whole.

This is precisely why those who were adversely impacted by this hoax must take action--not only for themselves but on behalf of those who may not have fared so well had they been accused.

The State of North Carolina, as Mike Nifong's employer, is a co-defendant in this case. Nifong represented the state. His actions carried the weight of the state of North Carolina into any case he decided to prosecute. The same goes for Durham County. Government entities that are implicated in this hoax by the mere fact that Nifong acted in their name should bear some of the responsibility for this shameful display.

Thus, the outrage of the friends and family of the three students should be channeled into legal action. Each government entity involved in this case should be sued. The former accused students and their families are owed a massive bounty from the state of North Carolina and Durham...at least a million bucks a piece to each of the falsely accused.

Criminal charges should be brought against Mike Nifong and some within the Durham Police Department for perpetrating a heinous crime--that of falsely accusing and framing innocent people for crimes they did not commit. The criminal charges should be followed by civil suits.

The only way we are going to prevent this kind of horror from happening again and again is to make the penalty so severe that corrupt government officials will think twice before engaging in such charades.

In fact, the Duke lacrosse rape hoax is a perfect example of government run amok, of unfettered government power and the very real danger it poses to innocent citizens.

This is a golden opportunity to beat back the creeping crawl of government power and to win a big one for the rights of individual citizens. But in this case, it won't be Goliath who wins. 'Little David' will be the one who sends a stone hurling into the monster of big government, right between the eyes.

Such a moment is long overdue.

Dealing with the Feinstein Scandal

Washington, DC (TLS). Senate Democrats are no doubt in quite a quandary at this hour, in spite of the fact that they are on a rather lengthy Easter break. Although the news has barely caused a ripple in the mainstream media, here comes the Internet news sources, bloggers, and a few secondary newspapers swarming around the scandal involving Senator Dianne Feinstein, D-California, and her war profiteering scheme with her husband.

First, let us put this scandal within its proper context. Democrats, the Liberal variety in particular, have made it their trademark to be anti-war. San Francisco is where Feinstein cut her political teeth, having once served in the city government. And everyone knows that San Francisco has become the nation's number one hotbed of rabid, putrid ultra-leftwing extremism.

This is the area that refuses to allow ROTC recruiters in public schools or to allow a major U.S. battleship, which has been placed in retirement, to find harbor.

Feinstein, along with Nancy Pelosi and Barbara Boxer, are the heroines of the extremist Left. And, as such they tow the Party line on all the hot-button issues--gun control advocacy, abortion-on-demand, tax-and-spend expansion of government power, and most important of all, the vilification of American military power and prowess.

War is an evil symbol of American imperialism, according to the true believers of the extreme Left. Nevermind that the present war was declared on us first and that Iraq was a centerpiece of its propagation. Even Hillary Clinton stated that Saddam was training, funding, and giving safe haven to Islamic terrorists--that is, until she started running for President.

Feinstein, therefore, has walked the walk and talked the talk on the hot-button issues. Until now.

There have been hints all along that perhaps Feinstein was not the true believer everyone thought. She admitted before a Senate panel in 1995 that she had bought and carried a concealed handgun in the 70s when she and her family were being threatened by a terrorist who had planted a bomb outside her daughter's window.

Somehow, miraculously, the bomb did not detonate.

Yet Feinstein has consistently been one of the most avid and rabid anti-gun bigots on Capitol Hill, voting regularly to deny to ordinary citizens the right she exercised when she and her family were threatened with harm.

Now we discover that the quintessential Liberal Democrat from California, the anti-war crusader from San Francisco, is up to her neck in a war profiteering scandal of draconian proportions. While publicly decrying the military and the war, Feinstein was making cozy with U.S. military officials concerning construction projects and overseeing the process by which her husband's companies would receive billions of dollars' worth of government construction contracts for the military.

In short, as Chair of the Senate Military Construction Appropriations Subcommittee, Feinstein personally approved billions of dollars' worth of government contracts that were awarded to her husband's companies.

While our men and women were being shipped overseas to fight the War on Terror, which Feinstein harshly denounced, she and her husband were padding their pockets off of U.S. involvement in the war.

Publicly she blasted President Bush's War on Terror. Privately she profited mightily from that very war.

The question that is before the Senate, therefore, is what to do about it. If the brief history of Democrat control of Congress is any hint of what they will do, the answer is nothing at all. After all, Senator Harry Reid, Senate Majority Leader, is himself waste-deep in scandal due to the receiving of illegal campaign funds. In spite of the fact that he gave the money back, it was still against federal law.

Senator Blowhard is responsible for the death of a young woman, but he walked away free as a bird and never suffered ANY repercussions from it.

Senator 'Leaky' Leahy leaked classified information while serving on the Senate Intelligence Committee--a major breach of national security. Yet the worst thing that ever happened to him was to resign from the committee.

And this is just in the Senate. If we go over to the House, we find even more glaring corruption on the part of the Party that purported to 'restore integrity to government.'

The problem, however, is that after these cases hit the news over and over, the public finally begins to get the message that something is terribly amiss. The news of the Feinstein scandal is simply too much, too big to ignore. If the Democrat leadership allows this to pass by without even as much as an investigation, then the whole country will know without any doubt whatsoever that the Democrat Party is all talk and no substance.

The thing is, they already know it. The latest polls show that approval of Congress has slipped back into the 25% range--much worse than President Bush's approval numbers.

With Feinstein's war profiteering scheme making the headlines--and sooner or later the big guns in the media will be forced to make it a headline--the public will have even more reason to lose faith in Congressional Democrats.

Feinstein needs to go. She should either resign from her seat or be expelled from Congress.

News Blackout on Feinstein Scandal

Washington, DC (TLS). Senator Dianne Feinstein, D-California, is embroiled in a scandal of gargantuan proportions, yet you won't hear about it on network news broadcasts. It has not made headlines in the New York Times, the Washington Post, or the Los Angeles Times.

This is due to the fact that she is in the right Party to get away with major scandal without so much as a slap on the wrist.

Suppose this had been Dennis Hastert, or Trent Lott, or even John McCain. Every major news organization would be milking this story for all its worth. Headlines would blare across the bottom of the TV screen. The NYT would place the news in bold, block letters across the front page.

But the Feinstein scandal? Nary word. Nada. Naught.

Senator Feinstein has been caught in a profiteering scheme involving her husband and the U.S. military. Feinstein and her husband, Richard C. Blum, were the direct beneficiaries of billions of dollars' worth of military construction contracts awarded to Blum's two companies, Perini Corp. and URS Corp.

The clincher, however, is that Feinstein herself, as the Senior member of the Senate Military Construction Appropriations Subcommittee, had personal oversight of the awarding of military construction contracts. She personally approved awarding her husband's companies with these lucrative government contracts...a clear violation of ethics at the very least, and potentially a violation of the law.

For six years Feinstein engaged in the practice of awarding these contracts to her husband's businesses, until two rather small news agencies blew the whistle on the practice, resulting in Feinstein's immediate resignation from the subcommittee.

Conflicts of interest of this nature are against the law. The question, therefore, is, will Feinstein be investigated by the Senate? Will she be resoundingly condemned by the Senate for this breach of the public trust? Will she be forced to resign?

Remember, Senator Trent Lott was forced to step down from his post as Senate Majority Leader for merely complimenting an old man (former Senator Strom Thurmond) on his 100th birthday. Many were calling for his resignation from the Senate entirely.

Lott committed no crime and there were no conflicts of interest or ethics violations.

Yet Senate Democrats wanted his head, in spite of the fact that ex-Klansman Robert 'Sheets' Byrd sits in the Senate enjoying the respect of his colleagues.

Feinstein's lapses of ethics are serious. They should have serious consequences. The question is, when will the national media begin reporting this bombshell of a story? Are they waiting for D.C. to get its statehood so that two more Democrat Senators can immediately be added to the roster, meaning that they can afford to lose one?

This case is simply one more example of the blatant and despicable hypocrisy of the mainstream media. Let the news blackout on Feinstein's corruption end NOW. The nation deserves to know the whole truth about the rank stench of corruption emanating from Democrats in Congress.

Senator Feinstein in Major Ethics Scandal

Washington, DC (TLS). Senator Diane Feinstein, D-California, has resigned from her post as senior member of the Senate Military Construction Appropriations Subcommittee after it was learned that she regularly reviewed and accepted contracts from her husband's two companies to do construction work for the U.S. military. These contracts were worth billions of dollars.

This means that the Senator was engaged in a clear conflict-of-interest, and thus is in violation of ethics regulations concerning the awarding of government contracts.

Feinstein was personally involved in the approval of multi-billion-dollar contracts that directly benefited her husband.

As the ranking member of the subcommittee, Feinstein established cozy relationships with military officials while funneling to her husband's companies lucrative government contracts to do construction at military facilities.

Feinstein joins the growing ranks of corrupt Democrats who gained a majority in November supposedly to 'restore honesty and integrity to Congress' after those evil Republicans corrupted it.

However, the Democrats have proved that all it took was a mere 3 months to show the nation that they are more corrupt than the Republicans.

John Conyers, Chair of the House Judiciary Committee, admitted to breaking federal campaign finance laws, but avoided any repercussions after he promised 'not to do it again.'

Harry Reid, Senate Majority Leader, took illegal campaign contributions, but avoided any repercussions after he gave the money back.

Rep. William 'the Refrigerator' Jefferson sits on the House Homeland Security Committee, in spite of the fact that over $100,000 of dirty money was found in his freezer.

Nancy Pelosi wanted to appoint a Congressman to a Chairmanship in spite of the fact that he was once expelled from Congress for breaking the law.

Senator Patrick "Leaky" Leahy violated the law in leaking classified information while a member of the Senate Intelligence Committee--for which Leahy was forced to resign from the committee.

This is not to mention that Scooter Libby faces significant jail-time in a federal penitentiary for supposedly 'outing' a covert CIA agent although everyone already knew who she was and what she did, in spite of the fact that it was Richard Armitage, not Libby, that first provided the information.

Armitage was not indicted.

Yet Sandy Berger stole documents from the U.S. government, later shredding those documents, and has yet to face any significant repercussions for his crimes. Those documents detailed the Clinton Administration's inaction on loads of intelligence information that indicated the U.S. was the target of a major terrorist attack--documents that were supposed to go to the 9/11 Commission for scrutiny but which were mysteriously taken and shredded by a member of Bill Clinton's inner circle.

Word has come this week that Hillary Rodham Clinton is fighting with all her might to stay out of court on charges of possible illegal campaign contributions that found their way into her coffers.

Add to all of this the fact that the Democrats gave us the very first Muslim Congressman, who was endorsed by the terrorist-front-organization CAIR, and insisted that he swear in on a copy of the Koran. Congressman Ellison, ironically, tried to get a terrorist released from prison back in the late 70s and early 80s--a terrorist that had attempted to murder Diane Feinstein's daughter by placing a pipe bomb underneath her window.

It is this very same Senator Feinstein who testified before Congress in 1995 that she had armed herself with a concealed handgun in the aftermath of the bombing attempt, although she is one of the fiercest anti-gun bigots in Congress. It seems that Feinstein's view is that average citizens should not have the same rights and privileges of America's left-wing ruling class.

Today's revelation, which by the way was NOT reported on the three network news programs, shows that Feinstein personally benefited from her work on the Senate subcommittee that oversaw the awarding of military construction contracts. This makes her as corrupt as Conyers.

The Executive Branch of government is given the power by the Constitution to hold investigations, including investigations into Congressional corruption. Under Constitutional law, the three branches of government are EQUAL. Perhaps it is time for the Bush administration to open investigations into mass corruption in Congress.

I can think of at least a dozen who should be expelled from the body outright.

LIBERTY ALERT! Sutton Under Fire Over Border Patrol Fiasco

Washington, DC (TLS). Finally, U.S. Attorney Johnny Sutton, who sent two Border Patrol agents to prison using fabricated and tainted evidence supplied by a repeat drug smuggler, has come under fire for his conduct in the case.

The Liberty Sphere has been reporting for weeks that Sutton is a co-conspirator in one of the biggest scandals to rock the U.S. government since the Clinton years.

Now, apparently, Congress has the goods on Sutton to begin some serious investigations into prosecutorial misconduct, lying to the court, falsely accusing two innocent men, and participating in a set-up by the Department of Homeland Security to smear the reputations of two Border Patrol agents in order to save face with the Mexican government, which is corrupt beyond description.

Rep. Dana Rohrabacher said this about Sutton: 'Congress has an obligation as a separate branch of government to watch the executive branch and rein in an out-of-control prosecutor that is a danger to the American people. Arrogance and disregard for human beings lends credibility to the bad things in the past.'

The Liberty Sphere hopes that not only will Congress act quickly to bring to justice to the rogue prosecutor, but also the rogue Judge, and the corrupt officials in the Department of Homeland Security who lied to Congress.

Framing two innocent men should carry the maximum penalty of the law. And there are many implicated in this set-up job.

Border Patrol Agents' Bond Request Denied

Washington, DC (TLS). With each passing day the case of the Border Patrol agents who fired at an illegal alien drug runner becomes more troubling. No murder was committed. The alien was shot in the buttocks, which is by no means life-threatening. Yet, these two American patriots were send to prison for a dozen years and are being denied bond.

Why?

The latest request that the two agents be released on bond pending appeal of the verdict has been denied by the court. This makes absolutely no sense. In fact, not a single detail of this story makes any sense whatsoever...UNLESS someone in the highest levels of government knows more than has been disclosed.

The most troubling fact of all, however, is that what they know is designed to protect an illegal alien drug runner by hauling off to jail the very law enforcement officials at the border who uncovered the crime. Obviously, someone, somewhere wants the two silenced, out of the way, and muzzled.

It is highly suspicious that two law enforcement officials would be given sentences amounting to 12 years for one, and 11 years for the other, when the very worst thing that happened is that an illegal alien drug runner got shot in the buttocks. Add to that the murky story of lies in the Department of Homeland Security, which was admitted to Congress in a hearing a few weeks ago.

Why would the government lie in order to incarcerate two law enforcement officials if the truth were enough to convict them?

The simple answer is that the truth does NOT convict them at all. Therefore, a plot to deceive had to be devised by the Department of Homeland Security in order to make sure they were convicted. If the government has to tell lies in order to gain a conviction, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that telling the truth would result in an unacceptable scenario for the Department of Homeland Security, namely, that the two agents would be found not guilty of the charges.

The question persists as to why, exactly, the government wanted so badly to see these two men imprisoned. The fact that a known drug runner from Mexico was given complete immunity, was never charged with his crimes, and was used to testify against two Americans in OUR courts, certainly does not help the government's case. In fact, all of the facts point to high-level misconduct, reaching from U.S. Attorney Johnny Sutton and Judge Kathleen Cardone all the way to the highest levels of the Department of Homeland Security, which has already admitted to lies in the case.

Under normal circumstances, the mere fact that the prosecution, which in this case is the U.S. Government, lied to the court would be enough for the case to be declared a mistrial and the defendants released from prison.

Not in this case.

Why?

Theories abound as to why. Yet the most plausible theory we have heard to date has to do with the illegal alien himself and his connections both to the U.S. Government AND to the government of Mexico.

In short, the drug runner from Mexico has high-level friends in both governments. This scenario would begin to explain why a simple case of law enforcement doing its duty to subdue a criminal would turn into a three-ring circus resulting in two innocent men going to jail for over a decade. It would also begin to explain government deception, cover-up, and a steadfast refusal by the U.S. officials to release the two on bond, despite the fact we now know they were convicted on the basis of government lies.

It would also begin to explain why George W. Bush has been so very willing to risk his reputation and support among the members of his own Party by his steadfast refusal to issue pardons.

But the question that remains unanswered is just who, exactly, is this illegal alien drug runner that the governments of Mexico and the United States are trying so hard to protect, even at the expense of throwing two innocent American citizens in jail?

Perhaps this, too, is part of the cover-up. To know the full identity of this criminal would lead to discoveries about his game and his CONTACTS. And THAT, my friends, apparently is something that no one in the Bush Administration wants anyone to know.

The Liberty Sphere has suggested before that this could well mean the complete unraveling of the Bush Presidency. We stand by that initial assessment. Nothing that has come to light in the past two weeks since the government admitted to Congress that it lied has served to ease suspicions. Rather, ever single fact that has been made public about this case serves as cause for only more suspicion.

It is our assessment that Mr. Bush is walking on thin ice with this case. He has lost the respect of some members of his own Party over this debacle, and he has created suspicion in the minds of others who previously had given him unwavering support. The talk of impeachment by Congressional Republicans is not empty rhetoric. Some of these admirable patriots are willing to put aside political loyalty for honor.

Something very dishonorable has happened in the Border Patrol case, and everyone knows it. Only the President at this point can correct this stain on the Republic by issuing pardons to the two agents, and launching investigations into high crimes and misdemeanors on the part of government officials, including the Department of Homeland Security.

If this is not done, the President can rest assured that Congressional Republicans will launch their own investigation into high crimes and misdemeanors, except this time that investigation will target the President himself.

Washington, DC (TLS). Hillary Clinton has a forty-year record of quotations that portrays an attitude toward America that is chilling. The young woman who was once a Goldwater Republican totally repudiated the principles that founded this Republic and embraced an ideology that was born out of the anti-American, pacifistic flower children of the 1960s.

The following quotations are very telling. Let's start with this one, which was given at the end of a campaign speech:

'God the bless the America we are trying to create.'

In other words, she cannot ask God to bless America as it now stands. If one reads the extent of Hillary's ideology from a number of publications through the years, the reason is not far to find. America is not a Socialist nation. Therefore it is to be abhorred. The only blessings she can invoke from God would be in the event that America is re-created in the image of Hillary--and of course, her atheist billionaire queen-maker, George Soros.

The other quotation that I will mention is much more famous, for it was uttered at a time when Hillary was the supposed 'first lady,' although it is hard to conceive of her ever actually thinking of herself in those terms. Scandal after scandal rocked the Clinton White House, one of the most striking being the Travel-gate scandal, in which Hillary was a key player.

Within this whirlwind of Clinton graft, Hillary stated the following:

'I am not going to have some reporter pawing through all our papers. We are the President.'

Thus, in truth, Hillary has already served her eight years in office while husband Bill was having a few aromatic cigars in the closet of the Oval Office. She is, therefore, ineligible to serve another term.

Breaking News: Border Patrol Agents Fired

Washington, DC (TLS). The Liberty Sphere has learned that two Border Patrol Agents whose testimony secured the conviction of two of their colleagues in what has become known as 'the Border Patrol Hoax' are to be fired by the agency. A third Agent who testified against the two Agents who are now in prison has resigned.

This news comes on the heels of reports that the three Agents in question changed their testimony several times, which of course taints the entirety of their depositions. This is precisely what happened in Durham, North Carolina when the accuser in the Duke Lacrosse Rape Hoax changed her story so many times that the entire case fell apart, resulting in the District Attorney being charged with ethics violations and prosecutorial misconduct.

The big question, however, is this: were the Agents fired and pressured to resign because they changed their story thus putting U.S. Attorney Johnny Sutton and the Department of Homeland Security is a terribly bad light, or were they fired and pressured to resign because their initial testimony was shown to be false? This is a central question that MUST be answered, for if the termination of employment of the three Agents is in any way retaliation from Sutton, Judge Cardone, the Border Patrol, or the Department of Homeland Security, then this scandal has just gotten deeper and even more despicable. The same can be said if the powers-that-be in this case are making scapegoats out of the three Agents for a scheme that was concocted at the highest levels of government.

No matter which way you cut it, Sutton, Judge Cardone, the Department of Homeland Security, and who knows who else, are all implicated in this sordid mess. Too much evidence has been made public for there to be any other conclusion.

Thus, every single person in government who was in any way connected with this case should be tried in a court of law for falsely convicting two innocent men. This is a crime, a felony, in the United States of America. And as long as we coddle and handle with kid gloves the likes of Mike Nifong and Johnny Sutton the entire system of justice in America is on the brink of collapse.
