Little Chucky Decides to Support Bush AG Nominee

Little Chucky Schumer, left, along with the Hildabeast...

Little Chucky Schumer, D-NY, announced that he is going to vote in favor of confirmation for President Bush's nominee for Attorney-General, Judge Michael Mukasey.

I suppose when you have been subject to ridicule and derision over proclaiming that 'the Reagan era is dead,' you have to do something to try to salvage what remaining credibility you have left, albeit minuscule.

Mukasey, a Reagan appointee who has broad support across the political spectrum as being a brilliant and effective jurist, had run into trouble with the Democrats on the Hill because of his unwillingness to say, one way or the other, whether or not waterboarding is 'torture.'

The Dean of the Congressional Trivial, Senator Patrick Leahy, stated he would vote against Mukasey for that reason.

But then, it was Little Chucky and the perennially ethically-challenged Dianne Feinstein to the rescue. Both stated that they would vote in favor of confirmation...odd, given their history over the past few years.

Yet when one takes into consideration that Congress stands at the all-time low approval rating of 11%, perhaps Little Chucky and Dianne suddenly got religion.

Little Chucky Schumer Proclaims End of Reagan Era

One of the most extremist Leftwing nutcases in the U.S. Senate, Little Chucky Schumer, D-NY, has proclaimed the 'end of the Reagan era.'

Little Chucky was beside himself with glee as he looked forward to the Democrats' prospects for claiming the White House and adding to their majority in Congress.

Stating that the values that drove the Reagan era no longer resonate with most Americans, Little Chucky was certain that his Party would sweep into the White House in 2008 and build a veto-proof majority in the Congress.

This would mean that Hillary or Obama or whoever would have a complete free pass from the Congress to do whatever they wanted to do...a nightmarish prospect for those who value liberty.

Here is a message for Little Chucky: if you think that the concepts of Reagan do not resonate with the majority of Americans anymore, then that means the ideas of liberty as espoused by Jefferson, Franklin, Henry, Washington, Madison, Mason, and Hamilton no longer resonate with them as well. Hell, the Constitution itself must not 'resonate' with the majority of Americans.

If this is the case, Little Chucky, which I highly doubt, then this means we have lost the country and the neo-Commies like yourself are succeeding in running the country into the ground. Nevermind that you have basically bought off their support with your giveaway programs and entitlements, even to illegal aliens.

After all, the ends justify the means, don't they, Little Chucky. If the end result of all of this is a Brave New World where government has ultimate power and where the individual has none, then I suppose all of your programs designed to buy votes are worth it, in your convoluted little mind.

Believe me, Little Chucky, if what you are saying is true, and the worst-case scenario happens in 2008, you are going to be confronted with the worst uprising of average citizens in the heartland that this nation has seen since the American Revolution.

We are not going to sit idly by and let your forces of anti-freedom run rough-shod over all of the liberties for which our forefathers fought and died, and which patriots such as Ronald Reagan so eloquently articulated.

For your information, Little Chucky, there are millions of us out here who will NEVER allow the Reagan era to end, and more and more are being added to our ranks each day. So, you can take your pantie-waist predictions and shove them where the sun doesn't shine.

Schumer Vows to Block Bush Judges

Senator Chuck Schumer, D-NY, vowed Friday to block all Bush nominees to the Supreme Court, should the President have opportunity to fill further vacancies on the high court.

'Little Chucky Schumer,' as he is known on The Liberty Sphere, indicates that no matter who Bush may send up for confirmation should there be a vacancy on the Court, he will personally see to it that the nominee is blocked from consideration.

Such obstructionism has been the modus operandi of Democrats in Congress ever since Mr. Bush took office. Even while they were the minority Party, Congressional Democrats would utilize a procedural maneuver to prevent Bush nominees from even receiving an up or down vote.

The Democrats did not, however, use this tactic on Supreme Court nominees, fearing negative publicity.

Now that they are in the majority, it appears that the under-the-table tactics of the Dems will be turned up a notch, as Little Chucky and others vow to block nominations for the Supreme Court.

It seems that Little Chucky is irate that Bush appointees to the Court have committed the unpardonable sin of adhering to Constitutional law rather than to the judicial activism of Breyer, Ginsburg, and Stevens.

Contrary to the presumption of liberals in legal circles and various law schools across the country, precedent is NOT the most important issue in rendering decisions. Little Chucky wants the Bush appointees to adhere to precedent over all other matters, such as that tiny, unimportant issue of adhering to the Constitution and the original intent of the Framers.

Politico.com quotes Little Chucky as stating the following: 'The Supreme Court is dangerously out of balance. We cannot afford to see Justice Stevens replaced by another Roberts, or Justice Ginsburg by another Alito.'

Thus, in the process of decrying ideology on the part of the President in choosing nominees, Little Chucky insists that nominees adhere to ideology--his, and that of Stevens and Ginsburg.

What kind of convoluted logic is that?

Further, Little Chucky states, 'There is no doubt that we were hoodwinked,' a reference to the fact that in Schumer's view, Roberts and Alito have refused to place court precedent above every other consideration, such as the Constitutional principle of human liberty.

It is to be remembered that at one time the assumption of the legality of slavery was a 'court precedent.'

Any thinking person knows that there are often much weightier issues that take precedence over precedent. If this were not the case, then women would have never been given the right to vote.

Perhaps Little Chucky should remember that the tactics which he and his colleagues have used over the past seven years will surely come back to haunt them. In the event of a liberal Democrat being elected to the White House in 2008 (and every single one of the nominees are liberals), Republicans can choose to shut down the process of confirming judicial nominations.

If Little Chucky persists in his obstructionism, he will face a Republican block of all judicial nominees should his Party win the White House.

The Disarming of America Has Begun

Washington, DC (TLS). Well, my friends, the disarming of America has begun. As soon as there is a stated, step-by-step, cohesive plan in place, the process of confiscating the guns from American citizens has begun, even before a law has been passed.

The very first step in a systematic, large-scale process of confiscation is the development of a concrete plan.

The gun-grabbers of the Leftwing in this nation have such a plan, and they have been so brazen as to publicized it.

Wasting no time in getting to work on capitalizing from the carnage of a crazed madman at Virginia Tech, Senator Carolyn McCarthy issued a Trojan horse by stating there would be no attempt at gun control in this Congress. Little Chucky Schumer did the same thing.

But it was all a ruse...an attempt to quell the fears of law-abiding citizens that their rights were endangered in the aftermath of the Virginia Tech massacre. Yet, even as they issued such reassurances to the public, both Little Chucky and McCarthy were busy at work behind the scenes crafting an unholy alliance with some Republicans and the NRA to pass a gun control measure, supposedly aimed at tightening background checks.

The problem is that this bill punishes millions of non-violent, ordinary citizens by banning them from gun ownership even if they have so much as visited a doctor's office with depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, attention-deficit, hyper-activity disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, and a myriad of other legitimate medical diagnoses for which there are proven effective treatments.

No matter. If you are a U.S. Veteran to whom your country called to carry a weapon in wartime, you will be effectively barred from gun ownership as a civilian if you have received treatment for post-traumatic stress resulting from your service to your country.

You were good enough to carry a gun as a soldier, but now your government will deem you to be unfit to carry a gun as a civilian merely because you are now considered damaged goods.

My friends, this is an outrage of gargantuan proportions. The ONLY major gun rights group in America that will not compromise on this obvious attempt to steal rights is the GOA. Even the NRA caved to the gun grabbers on this one.

Now, back to the plan to confiscate guns. It is printed in the Toledo Blade in an op-ed column written by Dan Simpson. It is a shockingly candid admission that the Left has a definite plan to implement gun confiscation...that is, if they can succeed in convincing enough lawmakers in Washington to bite the bullet.

Impossible, you say? Don't be so quick to dismiss it. After all, they have just succeeded in getting the NRA to cave in to a McCarthy ruse to rob millions of citizens of the right to own a gun!

As I have said many times before, these attempts to rob citizens of their rights will only create a massive underground black-market for guns without serial numbers. This way they cannot be traced or registered. Those who squelch human rights usually find that such attempts only backfire on them in the end, just like Prohibition.

The very same thing will happen with guns, if the present trends continue. Gun owners by the millions will merely tell their politicians, 'To hell with your rules and regulations!'

If they want to play this game with over 100 million gun owners in America, we can sure devise methods to keep our rights if we have to. And we will not hesitate to do it.

The Gonzalez News Conference

Charlotte, NC (TLS). U.S. Attorney-General Alberto Gonzalez gave a news conference Tuesday afternoon to answer charges by Democrats that the recent firing of a handful of U.S. Attorneys was politically motivated.

Leading the charge for the Democrats is 'Little Chucky' Schumer, who claims that Gonzalez fired the attorneys because they did not investigate charges of Democrat corruption in Congress.

It seems obvious that Little Chucky is treading on thin ice with these charges, given the present ethically-challenged Democrat leadership in the U.S. Congress. At least a dozen top Democrats are under a cloud of suspicion due to charges of corruption and the breaking of federal law. Some of these very Democrats chair major committees in Congress, such as John Conyers, Patrick Leahy, and even Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.

The fact that the crimes and misdemeanors of these and other Democrats in Congress were never adequately investigated by the Department of Justice, then yes, these U.S. Attorneys were not performing adequately and needed to be fired. In this regard, Gonzalez is 100% correct. Perhaps their replacements will get about the business of investigating the blatant disregard for the law, particularly on the part of those like Conyers, who broke federal campaign laws.

And this is precisely why Democrats are upset with the firings.

The real source of scandal within the U.S. Department of Justice surrounds U.S. Attorney Johnny Sutton, who interestingly was not fired. This is in spite of his vendetta against American law enforcement officials who wish to uphold the U.S. Code in apprehending law-breakers who enter the country illegally. Sutton's modus operandi toward law enforcement at the southern border is that if an officer does his job conscientiously in upholding federal law concerning illegal aliens, he/she can expect to be punished by Sutton by being hauled to court, tried, and found guilty, and then tossed into prison to serve lengthy sentences.

Two border patrol agents and at least four other lawmen in Texas have suffered under the oppressive, heavy hand of a U.S. Attorney who has turned his head to clear federal law in the U.S. Code concerning illegal aliens.

Yet in the Gonzalez massacre of U.S. Attorneys, Sutton was spared.

Remember, Sutton is a Bush crony in Texas. Not only that, but Bush has a tarnished track record when it comes to immigration. He has privately stated that America is not a place but a concept. It is only one small baby-step from there to embracing open borders. Sutton has certainly given the citizens of America and the government of Mexico the impression that open borders are already a reality, in spite of federal law to the contrary.

To be fair, Mr. Bush should have ordered Gonzalez to fire ALL U.S. Attorneys just as Bill Clinton did during the first days of his second term in office. But that is another story in and of itself.

On Tuesday of this week, Bush was in Mexico promising to the Mexican President that he would 'work very hard toward immigration reform legislation.'

That must have been music to the ears of the Mexican government and the thousands of law-breakers who wish to rape and plunder this nation without any risk of prosecution.

Ted Kennedy and John McCain have already sponsored legislation in the Senate that would, in effect, grant amnesty to illegal aliens, just like that, with one swipe of the pen. Mr. Bush's proposals are as close as one can get to an amnesty program without going quite as far as the Kennedy-McCain plan.

If the Democrats were truly smart, they would recognize that there IS a scandal of gargantuan proportions involving Sutton, the U.S. Justice Department, the Department of Homeland Security, Alberto Gonzalez, and the President himself. The only problem is that Democrats are co-conspirators in this particular scandal of subverting federal law and allowing the invasion of illegal aliens into this country unhindered. This is the reason you will not hear one peep out of Little Chucky Schumer about it.

Little Chucky and rest of his cohorts are scared to death that the new attorneys Gonzalez will hire will target the corrupt law-breakers who Chair committees in the new Democrat majority in Congress!

As for the Sutton-Homeland Security-Justice Department scandal, Gonzalez continues to pretend it does not exist, treating it as the white elephant sitting on the dining room table that everyone knows is there but no one is willing to acknowledge. The problem is that with the denial, the flesh-eating bacteria that this scandal poses only continues its ooze toward infecting the entirety of the Bush administration.
