Scientific Resources that Refute 'Global Warming'

Contrary to the notion that 'the science is settled' concerning the global warming hoax, there are many strong voices of dissent within the scientific community.

This is the subject of my article today at Columbia Conservative Examiner.

You will find a plethora of quotations and links from/to some of the most respected scientists in the world who not only question the global warming theory but outright reject it based upon hard science.

Please read and share. Thanks!

Gore's Big Lie: the Global Warming Hoax

A team of nearly 1000 scientists from around the world recently met in the U.S. to discuss 'climate change.' Their conclusion? 'Global warming' is a hoax perpetrated by those who wish to limit human liberty.

Read this fascinating report in my latest column at Columbia Conservative Examiner.

And thanks for sharing this with your friends!

Czech President Takes On Goofy Algore

While most of the EU and American liberals such as Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, John McCain, and others seem to go goo-goo-gaaa-gaaa over Algore's science fiction on global warming, at least the Czech President is showing some chutzpah.

Czech President Vaclav Klaus, who is now President of the EU in its bi-annual rotation, blasted Gore for deliberately ignoring science that challenges his theory and suggested that the entire 'global warming' scare-tactic is designed to do nothing but serve as an excuse for more government control over people's lives and limit their choices.

This is precisely what Obama is set to do in the United States--force automakers to adhere to tough emissions and mpg standards, meaning that Americans will be forced into smaller, cramped vehicles that cost much more.

Instead of letting the market determine the types of vehicles that are manufactured, based upon consumer preferences, Obama would mandate what is manufactured and force consumers into vehicles that they may not buy if left to their own preferences.

All of this, of course, will be done in the name of 'saving the planet,' when the planet is quite capable of sustaining itself no matter what we do or don't do.

And, by the way, if the present trend continues, 2009 is on course to be the coldest in recorded history.

Read the full story of the Czech President's remarks concerning Algore here.

Second Amendment News Roundup for 1/2/09

Focusing on guns, politics, and news of interest, here is today's Second Amendment News Roundup:

Mike McCarville says that so far, based upon the evidence, Barack Obama and Rahm Emanuel deserve praise, not criticism, over the way they handled the Blagojevich scandal.

Texas Fred has some dire predictions for 2009, and I'm afraid he may be right.

Days of our Trailers reports that massive increases in gasoline and diesel taxes may be on the way.

XRLQ comments on the statement, 'Barack Obama is not my President.' And yes, I have said it. But of course, it's not even Jan. 21 yet, if that matters any...

Western Rifle Shooters Association issues an appeal for disunity concerning what's coming on Jan. 21.

Sipsy Street Irregulars points to a heated discussion going at KABA concerning race and guns. An interesting read!

Codrea's War on Guns announces a debate going on at the RNC and says that it is important that our voices be heard. Read it for more info, and act.

Gun Rights Examiner publishes Codrea's column for today that examines the issue of 'some people simply shouldn't have guns.'

Mindful Musings posts the info on the upcoming 'Grid Down Medical Course' in Lancaster, PA in February. The information taught in the course is vital to survival in the event that professional medical attention is unavailable. Take a look!

Blogstitution takes a look back at the stories published by the LA Times and says it has a very poor record when it comes to objectivity.

Syd at Front Sight, Press has a good read on the finest carry pistols. Wheel guns are excluded because they are not pistols. Read it! This should spark some debate.

Nicki has a MUST-read today entitled, 'Unusual Situations.'

Pax Parabellum posts an interesting news story of a woman in California who fought off carjackers.

Armed and Safe provides essential reading today on the debate between the 'prags' and the 'three percenters' in light of the recent vitriol directed at Mike Vanderboegh.

Darkblog comments on the treacherous path we have taken in violating citizens' liberties.

Robb Allen has a thorough scientific analysis of his blog stats for the year over at Sharp as a Marble. Now this is the way blog stats ought to be done. For a lesson in how to devise accurate and informative stats for your blog, go read, study...and learn.

Say Uncle says that North Dakota only had 2 murders during 2008, and neither one involved guns. But the Bradys apparently didn't notice...

And then Uncle has THIS story that highlights the hypocrisy of the anti-gun bigots, this time Roland Burris, the man chosen to replace Obama in the U.S. Senate.

Sebastian posts a link concerning the Smith & Wesson 637.

Holy Toledo, Batman! Squeaks is getting married! That just knocks my hat in the creek (in a good way!). Congratulations, Squeaky.

Tam has some important info for those who may have forgotten to buy themselves a gun for Christmas.

Dr. John Lott provides us with an important update on 'global warming.' I'll give you 2 guesses and the first doesn't count. It's getting colder...

ATTENTION, BARACK OBAMA AND AL GORE!

To Mr. Obama and Mr. Gore,

I hate to break it to ya, guys, but a London newspaper has outed you for your ruse on global warming!

2008--The Year Man-Made Global Warming Was Disproved

The really smart people of the world know this already. So why are you two still spouting the old politically correct scare tactic that the earth is getting ready to implode unless we allow government to tell us what to drive, eat, wear, and live in?

Get over it already. We ain't listening anymore.

Sincerely,
The Liberty Sphere

Fellenzer: Scientists Buck U.N. on Climate

The UN global warming conference currently underway in Poland is about to face a serious challenge from over 650 dissenting scientists from around the globe who are criticizing the climate claims made by the UN IPCC and former Vice President Al Gore. Set for release this week, a newly updated U.S. Senate Minority Report features the dissenting voices of over 650 international scientists, many current and former UN IPCC scientists, who have now turned against the UN.

It seems the United Nations and Al Gore are about to get their hands slapped by a rather large group of scientists from around the world who disagree with the notion of 'manmade global warming.'

And yet, our 'President-elect' claims that the science is settled and beyond dispute. Apparently the Chairman hasn't heard of the 650 dissenting scientists who say his views are flawed.

Nicki Fellenzer at The Liberty Zone has the complete story.

An 'International Environmental Court'?

Stephen Hockman QC is proposing a body similar to the International Court of Justice in The Hague to be the supreme legal authority on issues regarding the environment.

The first role of the new body would be to enforce international agreements on cutting greenhouse gas emissions set to be agreed next year.

But the court would also fine countries or companies that fail to protect endangered species or degrade the natural environment and enforce the "right to a healthy environment".

The Telegraph of the U.K. has the whole story.

It would appear that the neo-Communists of the European Union, who clearly wish to 'rule the world' as they attempted to do with their 'International Criminal Court,' are on the move to implement and enforce global enviro-nutcase dogma.

Barack Obama has stated he is all for it.

A New Climate Resource for Those Wanting Facts

Just a few days after the November 4 election, Barack Obama stated that when it comes to climate change, 'The science is beyond dispute.'

Anyone with an ounce of intelligence knows that such a statement is patently false, that is, unless their political ideology trumps any serious consideration of actual scientific fact.

For too long Americans have been treated to scientific hypothesis, theory, and conjecture being presented as 'fact' and 'settled science.'

Now there is a scientific resource available online that presents the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth on the climate.

The International Climate Science Coalition is an organization of climate scientists from around the world whose mission is to combat the faulty 'science' of the 'global warming' enthusiasts by presenting actual, verifiable data that contradicts the accepted wisdom as propounded by Barack Obama, the environmentalist movement, the United Nations, and Leftist politicians.

The core principles of the organization can be found here, and their distinguished team of scientists and policy advisers can be found here.

In addition to the scientific data presented by experts, the Coalition also publishes periodically on its website the views of writers, bloggers, columnists, and others on the subject of climate change.

The Liberty Sphere, among others, is cited in the latest post by the Coalition, calling attention to a recent piece concerning Obama's asinine comments on global warming.

The ICSC should prove to be a valuable resource for those seeking the real truth about what is happening to our planet and the reasons behind it.

Obama Delivers Asinine Address on 'Global Warming'

The President-elect is a numbskull when it comes to climate.

Addressing a 'global warming summit' hosted by RINO California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, Obama stated that few challenges are more urgent than global warming, and that 'the science is beyond dispute.'

Here is an excerpt from Obama's address:

"Few challenges facing America -- and the world – are more urgent than combating climate change," he says in the video. "The science is beyond dispute and the facts are clear. Sea levels are rising. Coastlines are shrinking. We’ve seen record drought, spreading famine, and storms that are growing stronger with each passing hurricane season. Climate change and our dependence on foreign oil, if left unaddressed, will continue to weaken our economy and threaten our national security."
Given that I have addressed this issue numerous times, suffice it to say Obama's ignorance and/or political agenda is encapsulated in this statement: 'The science is beyond dispute.'

This whopper of a barefaced lie closed the book on my ability to give Obama any benefit of the doubt.

Read the entire garbage-spouting Obama-speak HERE at the Boston Globe (h/t to Matt Drudge).

NASA Caught Lying, Global COOLING Underway

If you happen to depend on NASA's chief scientist in charge of climatology for your information on 'climate change,' then you were duped in the month of October.

NASA announced that the month of October was the warmest October on record.

But wait. Reports from across the globe during October indicated that a major cooling effect was underway. From China to Russia, from Sweden to the Arctic, from Alaska to Oregon, California, and Florida, there were reports of record-breaking low temperatures, record snowfalls, and growing, expanding glaciers.

Nobody at NASA took the interest or the time to check out the discrepancies between their records and these various reports from areas around the world.

As it turns out, by NASA's own admission, the month of October was the coldest October on record.

NASA had merely accepted September's reports and reported them as October's.

Thus, without even checking the discrepancies, and without even noticing that October's reports were exactly the same as the previous month's, NASA assumed, either erroneously or deliberately, that October had been unusually warm.

It is to be noted that NASA's point man for climatology is an Al Gore, global warming, hysteria-rousing foot-soldier in the war to change the way America lives and does business by using the 'global warming' mantra as an excuse to usher in more government control over our lives.

The truth is that the earth has been cooling this entire year, in some cases dramatically.

In fact, there has been no discernible increase in global temperatures since the year 1999. But this year, there has been a very discernible decrease in global temperatures.

Yet we are still being sold a bill of goods on the dangers of 'global warming' and 'climate change' by the mainstream media, Al Gore, and certain scientists who also have a specific political purpose behind their hysteria-mongering.

The following reports represent a partial list of those that are available to anyone who wishes to know the truth.

Second Amendment News Roundup for 7/24/08

Focusing on guns, politics, and news of interest, here is today's Second Amendment News Roundup:

The Obamessiah has arrived in his Mecca (the European Union) to throngs of worshippers who wonder if his speech in Germany will be his 'JFK moment.'

Messiahs don't lie, but Barack Obama does! Gateway Pundit caught him in at least 3 whoppers just prior to his departure from Israel to go to Europe.

Via Rezkorama, The Astute Bloggers show us the difference between lying and misspeaking (the Obamessiah's excuse for every lie he tells).

Born Again Redneck has essential reading on the 'Big O's' visit to Germany, entitled, 'Ich bin ein doughnut.' ROFL!!

David Codrea at War on Guns posts a follow-up to the story reported yesterday that the Memphis police chief has targeted bloggers in the area who have been critical of the department.

Armed and Safe, among others, calls attention to the controvery within the gun community that Mike Vanderboegh has stirred. Some among us believe his writings are over the top, but not if you consider that his premise has merit. It seems to me the rub comes in on the question of 'when' and not 'if.'

Traction Control provides a good summary of the controvery and has some entirely reasonable observations, in my opinion.

JR at A Keyboard and a .45 gives us an update on his upcoming trip to Blackwater to train with Todd Jarrett.

Roberta X points out some vital facts about the human race before we wised up and started eating meat.

Alphecca says that D.C. still doesn't get it, but one editorial writer does.

In case you missed it, The Bitch Girls provide an update to the anti-freedom billboard debacle in Philly.

Speaking of Mike Vanderboegh, Sebastian has posted a poll on the subject of revolution. Go over there, take a look, and cast a vote that represents your views on the subject.

Breda blogs on the joys of learning to shoot...and guns being 'the great equalizers.'

John Lott reports that a former proponent of the man-made global warming theory has now changed his mind.

Michelle Malkin gives us some news that was not reported in the MSM. Obama was heckled during his visit at the Western Wall in Israel...and was met with very loud and persistent protesters. But no matter. He's already in Germany where the peons will bow in worshipful praise to their Master, providing the MSM with many good photo-ops.

Texas Fred said the Second Amendment IS his gun permit! Yes, sir, I agree!

JB's Corner points to some MUST-read articles today, one of which is, 'What Part of "Drill Now" Do They Not Understand?'

Days of our Trailers provides a good example of what happens when illegal aliens are given refuge in so-called 'sanctuary cities' (i.e., cities that are breaking U.S. law).

Second Amendment News Roundup for 7/3/08

Focusing on guns, politics, and news of interest, here is today's Second Amendment News Roundup:

Snow Flakes in Hell has the MUST-read of the day on Al Qaeda Plan C. If you want to know what that is, just think of what terrorists do in Israel.

Mike McCarville has another MUST-read on Barack 'If You Say Anything Bad About Me At All You're a Racist' Obama. Read it all.

Nicki at The Liberty Zone announces great news. She and her co-writer of the book Ashmadai are going to have a book-signing (autograph party) at Waldenbooks. Read her post for the details.

David Codrea reports this item that makes my blood boil. If the Bill of Rights is not binding on the States, then that means free speech, free press, etc, etc, aren't, either. Damn the freakin' imbeciles!

Codrea also reports on another travesty of the law perpetrated by imbeciles. David Olofson has surrendered himself to authorities for his jail term because his rifled failed. Let that be a warning to all--the jackbooted thugs will hold YOU responsible if your 'semi-automatic' weapon misfires.

A Keyboard and a .45 posts this important message via the Dallas Morning News entitled, 'Messages From Iraq.'

Alphecca shows us that there are at least some intelligent people around the country who really get it. The Bill of Rights must apply to ALL the people or else they are useless.

Armed and Safe has something you gotta see, entitled, 'Taking Rights to the Next Level.'

Gateway Pundit has the documentation proving that Barack Obama's latest TV ad is full of lies. Just wait till you see what he claims he did and what he actually did.

Squeaky blogs about her Zazzle Store. She's a photographer who does great work, so stop by there and take a look!

Michelle Malkin reports that 'Little Chucky' Schumer, D-NY, is at it again with his blabbermouth.

Joe Huffman at The View from North Central Idaho says that The Bastard has been caught with his pants down over the gun issue in his own city.

The American Thinker has an interesting read on the fact that the New York Times is growing increasingly hysterical about John McCain's possible SCOTUS nominees.

All American Blogger fisks a so-called expert who says oil companies engage in propaganda although climatology has shown the earth has actually cooled over the past 11 years.

Projectile Balderdash from Al Gore

Is it just me, or does it seem that every time Al Gore (known to millions of conservatives as simply 'algore' via Rush Limbaugh) opens his mouth he hurls projectile balderdash that defies reason?

The latest memorable quote from algore involves, of course, 'global warming.' After all, it seems the only thing Al talks about anymore is 'global warming.'

Al's latest trip into the realm of psychotic verbiage is his most outlandish yet. He says that not believing in 'global warming' is like saying the earth is flat.

That's funny, because I have been saying all along that the 'global warming' alarmists should join the Flat Earth Society due to their refusal to deal with ALL of the observable data and their rush to accept data that is skewed.

This is of utmost importance in this year's political battle, given that many Democrats are so fed up to the hilt with Hillary and Obama that many of them would accept a ring-tailed baboon as their candidate rather than support either of them.

This is not to say that I think McCain is a ring-tailed baboon, since he has been the beneficiary of the Democrats' woes.

Frankly, Americans are beginning to realize that they really like McCain and really dislike both Hillary and Obama.

Enter Al Gore.

The problem with Gore is that despite winning the popular vote in 2000 (but losing the Electoral Vote) he could not manage a clear, decisive victory in spite of the fact that he had been Vice-President for 8 years.

Further, the Gore record is a trainwreck to most average Americans. He is a rabid anti-gun enthusiast, despite being from Tennessee. He, like Obama and Hillary, believes that government and higher taxes are the solution to all of America's ills.

And let's not forget that should Americans accept his diagnosis and prescription for 'global warming,' it would mean an immediate and draconian change for our way of life from top to bottom.

The government would essentially be telling us what to drive, IF they allow us to drive, what temperature on which to set our thermostats (which may even possibly be centrally controlled by government), and a thousand and one other ways to totally dominate our lives and take away our choices as free citizens.

America needs Al Gore about as much as it needs Obama or Hillary.

http://armsandthelaw.com/archives/2008/02/hillary_clinton.php

Alphecca points to the very last word on 'gun free zones,' and you must take a look!:

Armed and Safe has a very interesting and informative read on the state of our rights in Illinois:
http://armedandsafe.blogspot.com/2008/02/continuing-downward-slide-in-illinois.html

Nicki has another good one entitled, 'Just One More Law':
http://libertyzone.blogspot.com/2008/02/just-one-more-law.html

Utterly disheartening. So, you think there is no slippery slope in closing the so-called 'mental illness' loophole pertaining to gun rights? Well, now it seems doctors are going to be required to report to the government anyone who has ever even exhibited symptoms of suicide (meaning severe depression), violent behavior, or 'threatening behavior,' whatever the hell that is. This is in addition to those who have been 'institutionalized!' So, now we have gone from those who have been in mental hospitals to those who merely exhibit the symptoms. Read it all here:
http://waronguns.blogspot.com/2008/02/no-haven-in-storm.html

Traction Control reports that someone let the cat out of the bag on the hoax of global warming. Actually, they knew global cooling was coming, and they wanted to restrict economic activity (of the free market nature) before the cooling got here (thus proving what I have always maintained...the movement is political and not scientific):
