A team of nearly 1000 scientists from around the world recently met in the U.S. to discuss 'climate change.' Their conclusion? 'Global warming' is a hoax perpetrated by those who wish to limit human liberty.

Fellenzer: Scientists Buck U.N. on Climate
The UN global warming conference currently underway in Poland is about to face a serious challenge from over 650 dissenting scientists from around the globe who are criticizing the climate claims made by the UN IPCC and former Vice President Al Gore. Set for release this week, a newly updated U.S. Senate Minority Report features the dissenting voices of over 650 international scientists, many current and former UN IPCC scientists, who have now turned against the UN.
It seems the United Nations and Al Gore are about to get their hands slapped by a rather large group of scientists from around the world who disagree with the notion of 'manmade global warming.'
And yet, our 'President-elect' claims that the science is settled and beyond dispute. Apparently the Chairman hasn't heard of the 650 dissenting scientists who say his views are flawed.

A New Climate Resource for Those Wanting Facts
Just a few days after the November 4 election, Barack Obama stated that when it comes to climate change, 'The science is beyond dispute.'
Anyone with an ounce of intelligence knows that such a statement is patently false, that is, unless their political ideology trumps any serious consideration of actual scientific fact.
For too long Americans have been treated to scientific hypothesis, theory, and conjecture being presented as 'fact' and 'settled science.'
Now there is a scientific resource available online that presents the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth on the climate.
The International Climate Science Coalition is an organization of climate scientists from around the world whose mission is to combat the faulty 'science' of the 'global warming' enthusiasts by presenting actual, verifiable data that contradicts the accepted wisdom as propounded by Barack Obama, the environmentalist movement, the United Nations, and Leftist politicians.
The core principles of the organization can be found here, and their distinguished team of scientists and policy advisers can be found here.
In addition to the scientific data presented by experts, the Coalition also publishes periodically on its website the views of writers, bloggers, columnists, and others on the subject of climate change.

Obama Delivers Asinine Address on 'Global Warming'
The President-elect is a numbskull when it comes to climate.
Addressing a 'global warming summit' hosted by RINO California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, Obama stated that few challenges are more urgent than global warming, and that 'the science is beyond dispute.'
Here is an excerpt from Obama's address:

NASA Caught Lying, Global COOLING Underway
If you happen to depend on NASA's chief scientist in charge of climatology for your information on 'climate change,' then you were duped in the month of October.
NASA announced that the month of October was the warmest October on record.
But wait. Reports from across the globe during October indicated that a major cooling effect was underway. From China to Russia, from Sweden to the Arctic, from Alaska to Oregon, California, and Florida, there were reports of record-breaking low temperatures, record snowfalls, and growing, expanding glaciers.
Nobody at NASA took the interest or the time to check out the discrepancies between their records and these various reports from areas around the world.
As it turns out, by NASA's own admission, the month of October was the coldest October on record.
NASA had merely accepted September's reports and reported them as October's.
Thus, without even checking the discrepancies, and without even noticing that October's reports were exactly the same as the previous month's, NASA assumed, either erroneously or deliberately, that October had been unusually warm.
It is to be noted that NASA's point man for climatology is an Al Gore, global warming, hysteria-rousing foot-soldier in the war to change the way America lives and does business by using the 'global warming' mantra as an excuse to usher in more government control over our lives.
The truth is that the earth has been cooling this entire year, in some cases dramatically.
In fact, there has been no discernible increase in global temperatures since the year 1999. But this year, there has been a very discernible decrease in global temperatures.
Yet we are still being sold a bill of goods on the dangers of 'global warming' and 'climate change' by the mainstream media, Al Gore, and certain scientists who also have a specific political purpose behind their hysteria-mongering.
The following reports represent a partial list of those that are available to anyone who wishes to know the truth.

If They Can't Predict Hurricanes, How Can They Predict Climate?
For two years in a row, hurricane forecasters have totally missed the mark on predicting the number of storms and their intensity. In fact, this year is on the mark toward becoming the most inactive hurricane season in 30 years.
The last time the Atlantic basin was this quiet was in 1977.
Of course, we still have a month to go in this year's hurricane season. Things could always change, but realistically such a thing is highly unlikely this late in the year.
In addition, have you noticed that the National Hurricane Center has begun naming storms that do not become hurricanes? Time was that only hurricanes were named. Thus, using today's methodology the number of named storms is higher than normal. This is due to the number of tropical storms that did not reach hurricane strength.
According to Algore, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., and others in the political movement known as 'the environmentalist movement,' the last two years should have been two of the most active hurricane seasons on record, due to the effects of 'global warming.'
The standard wisdom of the 'politically correct' environmentalists is that global warming would result in more hurricanes with higher intensity. Of course, for the past two years that prediction has totally missed the mark.
The result has been a devastating drought that has brought severe water shortages in the southeastern and southern states.
The obvious question that arises to the surface in the midst of these embarrassing erroneous predictions is, if forecasters can't accurately predict a hurricane season a couple of months prior to June, then how can they be trusted to predict the future climate of the planet years or decades from now?
One more nail in the coffin of the environmental alarmists is the latest NASA satellite imagery from space, which shows that the ozone hole over Antarctica has almost returned to normal. This means that the planet has been basically healing itself of the destructive effects of ozone over the Antarctic region.

Couric/CBS Continue Climate Propaganda
Without missing a beat the Katie Couric/CBS News propaganda machine continued with its erroneous and misleading 'news' stories on climate change. Monday night's broadcast proved what The Liberty Sphere had predicted, i.e., that the mainstream media would deliberately bury stories about NASA's 'mistake' that led to the current climate hysteria.
Five full days had passed since the news broke concerning a Y2K bug that caused a widespread bump in temperature readings by NASA's computers. It was last Wednesday that NASA quietly leaked the information that it had corrected the bug, which resulted in an entirely different scenario concerning global warming.
The corrected information shows that the year 1934 is the hottest in recorded history instead of 1998. In addition, five of the ten hottest years on record occurred before the 1940s, and the decade of the 1930s contains three of the hottest years since records began to be kept.
None of this, of course, was reported by CBS, ABC, NBC, or CNN.
Instead, Couric and CBS News ran a special news report Monday evening that continued to spread half-truths and outright untruths concerning global warming, particularly in light of the fact that the new NASA data shows that the earth is actually 1-2% COOLER than we had originally thought.
If one listened closely to the scientists who were interviewed in the piece, one would notice that no one stated that mankind is the cause for climate change. In fact, at one point a scientist who is examining the data in the Arctic Circle stated that, 'We are continuing to attempt to determine what role humans may have played, if any, in the gradual melting of the ice.'
By anyone's estimation, this is hardly a definitive statement on 'man-made global warming.' The scientist went further to say that 150,000 years ago, the place they were standing would have been much thicker with ice, and that 150,000 years prior to that, the area would be covered with water rather than ice.
300,000 years ago, the Arctic Circle was devoid of most of its ice? Which of the oil refineries and automobiles existing at that time caused this?
In spite of the the obvious uncertainty of the scientists CBS interviewed, the piece deftly glossed over any such backtracking and hedging, and proceeded to frame the entire news story in terms of man-made climate change.
Never once was there any mention of the NASA debacle in the year 2000, which they are just now getting around to correct.
Thus, the propaganda machine is alive and well. The facts be damned.

RFK Jr. Continues Smear Tactics
Washington, DC (TLS). Robert F. Kennedy Jr. appeared on Neil Cavuto's afternoon program on Fox News today and didn't miss a beat in continuing his smear tactics against those who disagree with his hypothesis that human beings have caused climate change.
Carefully skirting around questions about his use of the words 'treason' and 'traitors' at Al Gore's Live Earth concert last week, Kennedy attempted to place the focus on Exxon Oil rather than politicians.
He also deftly refused to answer a remark by Cavuto that Kennedy has done business with Venezuelan Communist dictator Hugo Chavez. While castigating American oil companies for their 'evil desecration' of the environment, Kennedy not surprisingly gave a pass to his buddy Chavez, although the Venezuelan Communist's oil ventures pollute the planet more than any American enterprise.
Chavez operates under NO regulations that prevent pollution. American companies, however, must comply with endless federal regulations about such matters.
But of course, in Kennedy's world-view, polluting the planet is not evil as long as a Commie does it. American capitalism must always be vilified as the bad guy, no matter what anybody else does.
As one of Kennedy's frequent targets on various issues, ABC's John Stossel appeared briefly at the end of the JFK Jr. segment on Cavuto's program today. Kennedy repeatedly referred to Stossel as a 'liar,' and continued with his attempt to get advertisers to boycott Stossel over his refusal to accept the erroneous hypothesis that mankind caused global warming.
But perhaps the most ridiculous statement made by Kennedy on today's program was his assertion that merely visiting the Arctic Region and noting how the glaciers have receded is enough to prove evil human beings perpetrated global warming.
Ok, Junior. Here's one to put into that pimple-sized brain of yours. Suppose we all had lived at the end of the last Ice Age. I suppose that you in your almighty wisdom would assert that one only need look at North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, and other states northward to see that since the ice shelf has receded to the point that one can actually plant vegetables in those states, human beings must somehow be responsible for the shrinking of the ice.
After all, all you have to do to prove human beings are evil perpetrators is to visit areas where once there was nothing but a frozen wasteland--such as Iowa.
Sorry, Junior. But once again your appearance in public has done nothing but further solidify the impression on the part of most thinking Americans that you are not in full possession of your faculties.
