Obama Delivers Asinine Address on 'Global Warming'

The President-elect is a numbskull when it comes to climate.

Addressing a 'global warming summit' hosted by RINO California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, Obama stated that few challenges are more urgent than global warming, and that 'the science is beyond dispute.'

Here is an excerpt from Obama's address:

"Few challenges facing America -- and the world – are more urgent than combating climate change," he says in the video. "The science is beyond dispute and the facts are clear. Sea levels are rising. Coastlines are shrinking. We’ve seen record drought, spreading famine, and storms that are growing stronger with each passing hurricane season. Climate change and our dependence on foreign oil, if left unaddressed, will continue to weaken our economy and threaten our national security."
Given that I have addressed this issue numerous times, suffice it to say Obama's ignorance and/or political agenda is encapsulated in this statement: 'The science is beyond dispute.'

This whopper of a barefaced lie closed the book on my ability to give Obama any benefit of the doubt.

Read the entire garbage-spouting Obama-speak HERE at the Boston Globe (h/t to Matt Drudge).

Well, maybe you jumped too fast. If you consider that there is not one shred of science left that remains not debunked as false, the science does appear to be settled. Perspective.

LOL! Well now, that's true. The science is settled. It's the political goals of the Left, hidden behind a false scientific premise, that's wrong.

"the science is beyond dispute" was the cry of those who thought the earth was the center of the universe too.

How'd that work out for ya?

Well, when you buy a puppet, he will say whatever you want him to say.

I'll stand by the earlier comments I made about Obama.

HH, Actually, the math works out either way — whether one's view is heliocentric, or geocentric. Which proves your contention that the science is not beyond dispute.

I tend to think that a lot of "science" is more ideologically driven than scientists care to admit.

Since I don't watch television, and I just got broadband internet, I had never heard Obama speak (No, I don't listen to the radio very much either).

I just watched about a minute of the video, and listened to the thing speak.

This guy is a freaking moron.

Okay, I tried it again. I listened longer . . .

Y'all better pay heed here. About 1:25 into it this jerk talks about reducing "emissions" to 1990 levels (Where do they come up with this?) and then goes on to say that they will "reduce" emissions by a further 80% by 2050.

Excuse me, but CO2 emissions cannot be reduced to this level without reducing POPULATION. CO2 is an emission that is basic to any process that oxidizes Carbon (i.e. breathing — HELLO!)

This ___ is talking about KILLING people.

This ___ is a MASS MURDERER waiting to happen.

BTW, this guy is one arrogant jerk. Man, Jim Jones didn't have anything on this guy.

Paul, perhaps Obama has bought into the most extremist of the extreme within the environmentalist movement, who claim that PEOPLE are the biggest threat to the planet.

Funny isn't it, that those who advocate that PEOPLE are the biggest threat to the planet are in no hurry to take their burdensome selves off the planet.
