Late Friday Afternoon Document Dump: Gunwalker docs

The AP is reporting in a breaking news alert that in a late Friday afternoon document dump, the Justice Department released to Congress over 1300 pages of material on the Project Gunwalker scandal, also known as Operation Fast and Furious. The documents, according to the DOJ, 'explain' why at least two statements made under oath to Congress turned out to be false.

At issue is a letter written by Assistant Attorney-General Ron Welsh to Senator Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, back in February which claimed that the ATF neither knew about nor sanctioned the illegal sale of assault weapons to straw purchasers who then took the weapons across the border to Mexican drug cartels as part of its program called 'Fast and Furious.'

Both claims turned out to be false.

Could Abramoff Torpedo Newt's Candidacy?

Jack Abramoff, the political lobbyist who went to prison in 2006 for bribery, is making his rounds on the TV and radio circuit now that he is a free man. And he is spilling the beans on his own dubious activity and those he got to know as part of his work in the years leading up to his imprisonment.

The Houston Chronicle reports that this morning Abramoff appeared in a interview on a radio station in Denver, during which he claimed that Republican Presidential candidate Newt Gingrich is 'crooked, arrogant, and untrustworthy.'

Abramoff is promoting his new book, Capital Punishment: The Hard Truth About Washington Corruption from America's Most Notorious Lobbyist, and will appear as a guest tomorrow morning, December 3, on radio station WFHT AM 1360 in Orlando-Avon Park, Florida, at 11 AM ET.  Those outside the station's listening area can hear the show on the Internet, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

As a follow-up to a previous report indicating that the court files on Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry's murder had been 'lost,' it can now be reported that the files have been 'found' but are sealed from public view. This means that the public and the news media have no way of insuring the integrity of the legal system by observing how the case is conducted.

Former Planned Parenthood Director Blows Whistle on ObamaCare

Two years ago Abby Johnson, a Planned Parenthood director in Texas, was so stunned by what she saw in an ultrasound given to a young woman planning an abortion that she experienced a dramatic shift in her views on the sanctity of human life and the policies promoted by the federal government, leading to her resignation from the organization. But her own recent personal experience with a pregnancy has led Johnson to reveal some stunning facts concerning the nation's new healthcare initiative, commonly referred to as 'ObamaCare.'

Grassley Takes Aim at Gunwalker Murder of Agent Terry

For two days in a row U.S. Senator Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, has taken aim at the Gunwalker murder of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry, whom whistleblowers say was killed with one of the guns the ATF-DOJ walked into Mexico in the illegal scheme, Operation Fast and Furious.

According to Seattle Gun Rights Examiner Dave Workman, Grassley's double-punch may well indicate a 'bad moon rising' for Attorney-General Eric Holder, who has claimed from the beginning that he knew nothing of Gunwalker or of the fact that Terry was murdered with one of the guns his agency sent over the border to Mexican drug cartels.

Holder is scheduled to testify next week before the House Judiciary Committee, where he is expected to come under fire for his statements to Congress indicating his lack of knowledge concerning the scheme that sent over 2000 U.S. guns to Mexico and resulted in the murders of Agent Terry and an ICE agent as well.

NLRB v. Boeing--Labor Union Politics in a Nutshell

When Boeing announced it would build a major facility in Charleston, South Carolina, the labor unions quickly sprang into action claiming that the reason for the new facility was retaliation against union labor at Boeing's existing operation in Washington state. The union had a history of calling strikes against Boeing. But in South Carolina, a right-to-work state, unions are relatively weak.

The NLRB, the National Labor Relations Board, took the side of the unions and lodged a complaint, and then a lawsuit, against Boeing, claiming that the company intended to punish unions by moving its facility to South Carolina. Politics, however, is a major factor in the ongoing dispute, as shown by the announcement today that the Board wants to rule on issues before the expiration of an Obama Administration recess appointment to the NLRB. Without that appointee, most of the Administration's agenda would be dead on arrival.

Breaking: mysterious break-in highlights suspicions of FBI behavior

Over the weekend the daughter of one of the men who is central to the scandalous story reported here of FBI corruption--a story that was gutted by Newsweek Magazine--was the victim of a mysterious break-in that only further shines the spotlight on suspicious FBI behavior.

The daughter of John Matthews, who provided the FBI with information that contradicted their apparent concocted story that Timothy McVeigh was the 'lone bomber' in the Oklahoma City bombing, was the victim of a break-in at her home during which a steel locked box containing records was stolen. And although a television, an X-box, and a gun were also taken, the burglars left behind cash, prescription pain medicine, and other valuables in plain site.

Curiously, close friends and family, including email acquaintances, report that files stored on their computers that contain records of conversations with the Matthews are now missing--vanished without explanation from their computers.

Mandatory Web I.D. Cards for Internet Users?

Many websites currently offer a 'Trusted Web I.D.' service for users in an attempt to prevent Internet crime. Internet dating sites were among the first to roll out the idea as a result of pressure from clients who desired the added security inherent in the service. However, if the Obama Administration gets its way, such Web I.D. services would be mandatory for all Internet users across the board.

According to 2 reports, one in The Digital Journal, and the other on Fox News, White House Cyber Security Advisor Howard Schmidt and Commerce Secretary Gary Locke have proposed a system of mandatory virtual Internet I.D. cards, which they call 'National Strategy for Trusted Identities in Cyberspace.'

Although the proposal first surfaced in January of 2011, reports in late October and November of this year indicate that the proposal has been given new life by a fresh round of support.

Consequences of truth-telling: Newsweek editor explodes at staff

The consequences of telling the truth at Newsweek/Washington Post/The Daily Beast are coming into sharp focus as editor Tina Brown reportedly exploded in a tirade at the staff of the news organization. The reason? The leak of the unedited story Brown refused to allow to be published as originally written on the FBI scandal involving PATCON, the Oklahoma City bombing, and Operation Fast and Furious.

Insider sources say that Brown is furious that someone on her staff sent a copy of the original article to citizen investigative reporter Mike Vanderboegh, which he proceeded to publish on his blog, Sipsey Street Irregulars. Main St. to Congress: no more privilege, perks, pensions

On Wednesday of this week this writer published a report on a voter focus group in 'Main Street America' concerning the upcoming 2012 Presidential and Congressional elections. In this follow-up to that report, it is to be noted that Main Street has a message to Congress--no more privilege, perks, or pensions.

The citizens who participated in the informal, non-scientific survey sounded off on a number of political issues, the foremost being that they are not impressed with anyone running for public office, and that includes Obama and all of the Republican candidates, along with some who have not decided to jump into the race, such as Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. 

But the group went further to indicate that they are also fed up to the hilt with Congress, particularly in the realm of the 'culture of privilege' that goes with the tendency of many to spend their entire careers in Washington. The group strongly favored term limits--2 terms for Senators (for a total of 12 years) and 4 terms for Congressmen (for a total of 8 years).

View from Main St. on Presidential candidates--"none of the above"

As part of a venture sponsored by a small, private opinion survey organization, this writer was asked to serve as the reporter/correspondent for a special focus group that was billed as 'a view from Main Street' concerning the 2012 Presidential candidates. Those who were part of the group delivered a dire verdict on the candidates who have been mentioned, both Democrat and Republican--"none of the above."

The focus group was non-scientific. It was made up of ordinary citizens off the street from every walk of life--small business owners, vendors, shoppers, delivery persons, maintenance personnel, teachers, college professors, and doctors. No attempt was made to exclude anyone on the basis of race, age, gender, religion, or political party. Such questions were not even asked. The only thing the survey was interested in doing was finding out what the average person on 'Main Street' thinks about the candidates and potential candidates for President in both Parties--Obama, Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump, Sarah Palin, and all of the declared contenders for the Republican Presidential nomination.

Reid, Dodd Channel Ted Kennedy at the Grave

In the heat of intense negotiations to strike a debt reduction deal on Congress' so-called 'super-committee,' Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nevada, told a group of lobbyists that he and former Senator Chris Dodd, D-Connecticut, ventured to the grave of Senator Ted Kennedy in an apparent attempt to 'channel' the late Senator's ability to forge compromise agreements with Republicans.

Politico reported this information today in a story that described the behind the scenes maneuvering that took place in the hours leading to the breakdown and failure of the negotiations.

Gunwalker Scandal Broadens--the FBI Connection

Confidential informants who are participating in the Congressional probe of the Project Gunwalker (Operation Fast and Furious) scandal have now zeroed in on the FBI connection. Such a connection has been hinted at in the past, but information relayed today shows that FBI involvement was much deeper than anyone imagined. 

The investigation into Gunwalker has revealed a scandal involving multiple departments of the Obama Administration--Justice, FBI, ATF, ICE, DEA, DHS, and State. These connections have been verified through previously hidden emails and documents, and sworn testimony of whistleblowers.

But the FBI connection is one that could be potentially the biggest one yet, indicating that the bureau not only was involved in Gunwalker but has been up to its neck in a scandal all its own--a program called 'PATCON,' or 'Patriot Conspiracy.' 

A paid confidential informant enlisted under PATCON indicated a long history of the covert program spanning several decades which include such debacles as the Ruby Ridge murders, the Waco murders of a religious cult, the Oklahoma City bombing, and Project Gunwalker.

Bad Omen? Major Investment Firm Shuts Down

In what could turn out to be a bad omen for the financial markets, a major investment firm shut down its operations on Thursday of this week, citing dangerously high risk as the reason.

Ann Barnhardt of Barnhardt Capital Management, Inc. stated that she could no longer in good conscience advise her customers/clients to invest in the markets, given the present climate of global upheaval and what she terms as 'the lawlessness of the Obama regime' in flagrantly ignoring the rule of law.

Ron Paul Drops the '3'-Word--the 3rd Party Possibility

In an interview on Sean Hannity's radio show on Thursday, Republican Presidential candidate Ron Paul dropped the '3'-word--indicating a 3rd party possibility. While Paul did not state in a definitive way his intention to run as a 3rd party candidate if he is denied the Republican nomination, he refused to rule out such a possibility under intense questioning by Hannity.

The Gingrich Surge

Over the last several weeks the hottest political news in the country is 'the Gingrich surge'--Newt Gingrich's meteoric rise to the top of the pack in the race for the Republican Presidential nomination. Today that news gets even more interesting as the latest poll in New Hampshire shows that Gingrich is now in a statistical dead-heat with Mitt Romney, who has been the front-runner in the state for the entirety of the campaign.

If the election were held today, Romney would garner 29% of the vote in New Hampshire while Gingrich would earn 27%--within the poll's margin of error.

The significance of this surge cannot be overstated. Romney has been very popular among Republicans in the northeast, who tend to be much more 'moderate' or 'progressive' than Republicans in the rest of the country. And, having been Governor of Massachusetts is certainly a big plus for voters in the region.

New Hampshire is considered an important bellwether state due to its historic position as the nation's very first primary after the Iowa caucuses.

And this is not the only good news for the Gingrich campaign. In Iowa where Herman Cain had been running strong, a shock poll was released by Rasmussen yesterday indicating that Gingrich has catapulted to a 32% lead while Romney trails at 19%. Cain has dropped back to 3rd with 13%.

Breaking: Mexico Seeks Extradition of Gunwalkers

A breaking news report from The Borderland Beat indicates that Mexico is seeking the extradition of 'Gunwalkers'--those suspected of providing U.S. guns to drug cartels.

According to the report, Mexican Attorney General Marisela Morales is asking the United States to extradite six suspects who are accused of providing firearms to the cartels in Mexico.

While Morales did not mention the 'Project Gunwalker' (Operation Fast and Furious) scandal by name, she indicated to Congress that the U.S. is holding 6 suspects--3 in Texas and 3 in California--who are accused of participating in a plot to arm Mexican drug cartels with guns from the United States.

However, in a video of Morales' statement provided by The Borderland Beat and posted in the top left corner of this article, the Mexican Attorney-General does, indeed, appear to be talking specifically about the Fast and Furious scandal.

Bombshell ATF Email: "They All Knew"

A bombshell ATF email from 2010 that surfaced this morning shows that when it came to the murder of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry, all of the top officials of the ATF and the DOJ were fully aware of serious ramifications of the fallout. One of the guns found at the scene came from the agency's illegal 'Fast and Furious' program.

This means that all of the top officials of the ATF and DOJ knew about the Gunwalker scheme and that a murder had been committed as a result.

Breaking News--Brian Terry Murder Case File 'Lost'

A newspaper in Arizona, republished by Townhall, is reporting that the official case file on the Brian Terry murdered has been 'lost.' Yep, you read that right. It's gone. Missing. POOF.

Now, if anyone in their right mind actually thinks that this regime is not corrupt to the very bone worse than anything we have ever seen in the history of this Republic, if THIS doesn't change your mind, then you most assuredly are NOT in your right mind but a babbling imbecile.

How could a murder file of a Border Patrol agent just simply up and 'go missing'??!!

The cover-up has just taken a dastardly, evil turn that hurts especially the FAMILY of Brian Terry, who deserves answers.

McCain Finally Does Some Good for Conservatives

RINO John McCain has often betrayed conservative principles in his long career in the U.S. Senate. But he has finally done something good for conservatives regarding the Project Gunwalker scandal.

Mike Vanderboegh reports that McCain is inquiring if an Obama court nominee knew anything about Fast and Furious, given that the nominee worked for Eric Holder at the DOJ.

Now, this is momentous news. I had heard rumblings earlier in the day about Republicans in the Senate who were threatening to torpedo the nominee unless Holder came forth with crucial information on Gunwalker which he has consistently withheld from the Senate and the House.

It looks like they intend to go through with it, unless, of course, they cave. And there are certainly a few Republicans (RINOS) in key positions who are known for doing exactly that!

Barnhardt: "The government can't make you do anything"

"The government can't make you do anything," says Ann Barnhardt of Barnhardt Capital Management, Inc. in a controversial website posting yesterday. In fact, she says, you have a responsibility to engage in non-compliance since the current government is 'illegitimate.'

Barnhardt makes these statements in a hard-hitting two-part series entitled, 'We the Whipped.' Her premise is that Americans by and large have abdicated their responsibility as sovereign individuals by assuming they are 'forced' to accept whatever unconstitutional encroachments on liberty the current government decides to unleash on the people.

But the truth, says Barnhardt, is that no government can force a sovereign individual who has been endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights to do anything. This was the premise the Founders laid out in the Declaration of Independence. Further, the Founders stated that any government that encroaches on those God-given unalienable rights is automatically illegitimate and must not be obeyed.

Barnhardt maintains that the current 'government'--not the government structure described in and mandated by the Constitution, but the one the current occupants of elected office have erected in its place--is entirely illegitimate and must be resisted in every way by the citizenry...

Report: Holder Adopts New Strategy on Fast and Furious

According to a report issued today by The Hill, Attorney General Eric Holder has adopted a new strategy in dealing with the Fast and Furious scandal, also known as Operation Gunwalker.

Holder intends to become aggressive, says the report, in his defense of his own actions and that of his agency in light of growing criticism that the Department of Justice engaged in illegal activity in smuggling U.S. guns to Mexican drug cartels, and then launching into a massive cover-up when the scheme came to light.

The new strategy is two-fold. First, hit back quickly and vehemently when Republicans in Congress maintain that the Justice Department lied to Congress and has murder on its hands in light of the death of Border Patrol agent Brian Terry, who whistleblowers say was killed with one of the guns the federal government walked into Mexico. Second, admit that serious mistakes were made by the Justice Department and its agency, the ATF, and promise to hold accountable anyone who was involved in the scandal.

This approach is in stark contrast to the one the Administration has used to respond to charges of corruption up until now. According to The Hill...

Republican Presidential Debate of 11-12-2011

In a news forum sponsored by CBS News and National Journal tonight at Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina, the Republican Presidential candidates focused on foreign policy issues.

Several candidates did very well in presenting their views and articulating conservative principles, the best being Michele Bachmann, Newt Gingrich, Herman Cain, Rick Perry, and Ron Paul.

Rick Santorum appeared to be off his game a bit this evening, but his views remain solidly conservative.

Mitt Romney always presents himself well, but one must always be mindful of the fact that in several areas of critical importance to conservatives, the candidate leaves much to be desired. These areas include RomneyCare, energy policy, gun rights, government bailouts, and his flip-flops on the abortion issue.

Jon Huntsman is another that is able to present himself well but articulates views that are more often than not indefensible from a conservative point of view. And the fact that he served in the current Administration automatically makes him suspect.

A New Look At Newt

When former House Speaker Newt Gingrich announced that he would be seeking the Republican Presidential nomination, I was among the first to dismiss his candidacy outright. His tendency to collaborate with Hillary Clinton and other liberals on matters such as 'global warming,' energy policy, and other dubious moves that led to conservative suspicion was enough for me to reject outright a Gingrich candidacy.

However, with the announcement by Sarah Palin that she would not seek the Republican nomination, and with several other factors such as the failure of Michelle Bachmann to gain significant traction in her bid, despite the fact that on the issues she is near perfect, I think it is time to take a new look at Newt.

New Info Indicates Justice Kagan's Conflict of Interest on ObamaCare

When former Obama Administration attorney Elena Kagan was appointed to the U.S. Supreme Court by Barack Obama, conservatives warned that the nominee was perhaps the most politically partisan Justice that has ever served on the high court. Kagan had served as Obama's Solicitor-General and was responsible for defending his policies in court cases.But new information has surfaced today that may indicate a stark conflict of interest when it comes Kagan and the Supreme Court's decision on the constitutionality of ObamaCare.

As a result of a lawsuit filed by Judicial Watch and CNSNews in response to the Justice Department's refusal to release documents pertaining to Kagan in a Freedom-of-Information-Act request, the DOJ released redacted documents late Wednesday evening which indicate that Kagan would need to recuse herself from any case pertaining to ObamaCare that makes it to the Supreme Court.

Veterans Day, 2011

Today we honor the living and remember the dead--those who served our country during wartime.

In my family there are many who went to war for their country. My grandfather fought in World War I. Several of my uncles fought in World War II, one of them died when a shell exploded. Later, another one of my uncles served in both the Korean and the Viet Nam wars. He returned to Viet Nam for 3 tours of duty.

My father served in the military but was never called up for war duty.

Veterans preserved the freedoms we enjoy as Americans. Honor the ones who are living. Take one to lunch and pay for the bill. If you happen to see a war veteran in a restaurant, pay his bill and tell the cashier and waitress not to tell him/her who did it. A surprise, anonymous gift is always a joy.

Danger Signals in This Week's Election Results

Several areas of the country held elections on Tuesday of this week. Kentucky, for example, held a gubernatorial election. Virginia held state assembly elections. Ohio voted on a measure that would end the Governor's restrictions on public employee unions. And Mississippi voted on a pro-life referendum.

The results of these various elections represent a mixed bag at best, along with some very troubling signals that hold broad ramifications for America's future and the general election of 2012.

Perhaps the most troubling of all is Ohio's repudiation of restrictions on public employee unions. When the Tea Party came into being in 2008-09 it was clear that the citizens were reacting against the overreach of the current Administration in the areas of the national debt, ObamaCare, the environment, and other issues that added to the ever growing burden of debt with which future generations of Americans will be saddled.

Exclusive Interview with Sheriff Who Says Women Need to Carry Concealed Guns

In the following exclusive Examiner interview, Sheriff Chuck Wright of South Carolina expands on his statement in favor of gun rights for citizens in the wake of the current crime wave that is sweeping certain sectors of the country. Wright's support for gun rights, and his statement urging women in particular to carry firearms, garnered national attention.. 

When the Sheriff strongly advocated what is known as 'licensed concealed carry' of firearms on the part of ordinary citizens, the news spread like wildfire last week in the Carolinas and eventually made its way into the national mainstream media. Wright, who is Sheriff of Spartanburg County, South Carolina, which is located in the northern corner of the state near the mountains, found himself appearing on CNN, Fox News, and other media outlets to answer questions concerning his strong stance in favor of citizen gun rights.

Gun rights is a 'hot button' issue right now in the national news due to the allegations of whistleblowers within the government that the Obama Administration concocted a scheme to send U.S. guns to Mexican criminals so it could pad statistics in an attempt to make a case for strict gun control legislation and gun bans.

Attorney-General Eric Holder appeared before the Senate Judiciary Committee yesterday to answer questions concerning the scandal known as 'Operation Fast and Furious.'

But Sheriff Wright is convinced that ordinary citizens are safer from the attacks of criminals if they carry guns.

Former U.S. Attorney Admits he Leaked Info on ATF Whistleblower

Within the last 24 hours news has surfaced indicating that the former U.S. Attorney for the Arizona District, who resigned in the aftermath of the Project Gunwalker scandal, has admitted that he leaked information to the press that critics say was intended to smear one of the ATF agents who became a whistleblower.

Former U.S. Attorney Dennis Burke, who is one of the key figures in the Fast and Furious scandal, came forward to admit that he leaked internal ATF documents intended to smear ATF Agent John Dodson on the same day that U.S. Senator Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, hammered Attorney-General Eric Holder on the leaked info during a hearing of the Senate Judiciary Committee on Tuesday.

Burke's attorney, however, denies that the leak was intended to smear Dodson. But it is difficult to imagine any other reason for the former U.S. Attorney for the Arizona District to provide information to the press that many legal analysts believe is protected by the Privacy Act.

Cain's Accusers and His News Conference

More accusers were trotted out in front of the mainstream media today to allege sexual harassment on the part of Republican Presidential candidate Herman Cain.

As with other accusers, there is no hard evidence to prove the allegations. Thus, the entire display is a case of 'he said, she said,' and none of the women making the chargers can prove their accusations against Cain.

For Cain's part, the candidate stated in a news conference late today that he totally denies all of the allegations. He further indicated that he was determined to save his reputation from false smears.

One of the women in particular, who was accompanied by Attorney Gloria Allred, appears to have troubles of her own.Rush Limbaugh notes...

Holder Blames Bush, Refuses to Apologize for Death of Brian Terry

As expected, Senator Patrick Leahy, D-Vermont, and Chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee, paved the way for Eric Holder to attempt to weasel his way out of the hot seat over the Project Gunwalker scandal today.

Leahy introduced the Attorney-General with a litany of Holder's supposed 'accomplishments.' And despite rather intense questioning by Charles Grassley and other Republicans, Democrats who control the committee (and the Senate) made sure that Holder was shielded from taking too much blame for the Fast and Furious debacle.

Holder's response was basically 3-fold.

1. He stated that Fast and Furious was wrong and should have never happened. His goal, he said, was to make sure it never happens again.

2. He refused to apologize for the murder of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry, killed in the line of duty with one of the guns the Holder Justice Department, and its agency the ATF, sent across the border to Mexican drug cartels. Holder even asserted that Terry was NOT killed by a Gunwalker firearm. Very convenient, given that the gun the whistleblowers identified as the Gunwalker weapon, found at the scene of the murder, disappeared, never making it to the lab for analysis.

3. He blamed the Bush Administration for Gunwalker, citing a program in 2007 called 'Wide Receiver' which is widely viewed by ATF whistleblowers as a 'dry run' for what became Gunwalker. However, during the Bush Administration the Gunrunning operation was a sting set-up designed to catch criminals. Most of the guns were interdicted before they crossed the border. But some of the guns got away from agents into Mexico, at which point the operation was designated as a failure and stopped. Project Gunwalker, or Fast and Furious, was implemented in 2009 under Obama and Holder, involving thousands of guns, most of which have not been recovered. And not a single arrest of a criminal has been made resulting from the illegal scheme.

Holder will not have it so easy when he appears before Darrell Issa's House Committee next month.

JPFO Issues Warning to Billionaires

If you are a billionaire in America today you should be warned that if the nation ever becomes a police state, you will be among the very first targets. This warning comes from Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership (JPFO) in response to the tendency of certain high-profile billionaires to contribute to Barack Obama and Leftwing causes.

In a special JPFO alert written by Kerby Ferris and issued over the weekend, the author notes that in America today there are 397 billionaires, according to Forbes. This tiny group of the super-rich runs the political gamut--from liberals such as Warren Buffett and George Soros, to conservatives such as the Koch brothers and Philip Anschutz, the owner of Examiner.com.

The problem, according to the JPFO alert, is that the Left-leaning billionaires give huge sums of money to anti-gun and anti-Second Amendment causes. Soros, for example, is a gun prohibitionist. Even the Walton family of Walmart contributes large sums of money to Michael Bloomberg's gun-banning group called 'Mayors Against Illegal Guns,' which is a misnomer due to the fact that a close look at the group's agenda will reveal an attempt to get rid of much more than just 'illegal' guns.

Obama's Democrat cronies steal 1.5 billion on Wall St.

A major story hit the news 2 days ago that barely saw the light of day in the high-profile mainstream media. The story was about the investment firm MF Global and its CEO, who is a crony of Barack Obama and Democrats in Congress. Jon Corzine, former Democratic U.S. Senator from New Jersey and former Governor of the state, had been the CEO of the Wall Street firm until Friday. 2 days before, on Wednesday, it was reported that Corzine had 'lost' over 600 million dollars in investors' money betting on European debt. By Thursday that figure was correctly set at 1.5 billion.

On Friday Corzine resigned. Some investors believe the money was stolen.

In the aftermath of the fiasco, MF Global is now the subject of an investigation. Regulators suspect there was 'insider trading.'

Corzine is a former head of the Wall Street firm Goldman-Sachs, the entity from which Barack Obama has tapped many of his top economic advisers, including Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner, Larry Summers, Robert Rubin, Alice Rivlin, Steve Rattner, Mark Patterson, Anne Fudge, David Lipton, and Michael Frohman, among others.

Goldman-Sachs was also one of the top contributors to the 2008 Obama Presidential campaign, giving over a million dollars to Obama's presidential bid. Only the University of California gave more money to the Obama campaign.  

According to Ann Barnhardt of Barnhardt Capital Management, Inc., it was painful having to tell her clients that the money they invested with Corzine at MF Global was gone...
