1. At the time of the rise of Nazi power, Germany had a democratic constitution.

U.S. Congressman Warns of Obama Dictatorship
Citing Barack Obama's stated intention of starting a 'Civilian National Security Force' that answers directly to him, a United States Congressman has warned that the proposal has all of the markings of a Marxist dictatorship.
As we have warned for months, the Obama proposal to create this security force that would have equal funding and status to that of the U.S. Military is a concept born in and implemented by Marxist-Socialist dictatorships throughout the world.
Such a security force was implement by Adolf Hitler in Germany and by Joseph Stalin in the old Soviet Union.

Will Switzerland Be Gobbled Up by EU 'Values'?
Other than having some of the most breathtaking mountain panoramas in the world, the Swiss have been known for centuries for three things, i.e., their neutrality and fierce independence, gun rights, and democratic values that have produced one of the most economically vibrant nations in the world.
While the rest of Western Europe plunged into decline economically, militarily, and politically, Switzerland thrived. This fact was lost on a recent writer of an article that appeared in the U.K.'s 'The Independent,' who claims that Switzerland may be Europe's 'heart of darkness' due to its intent in recent days to do something to stem the tide of a burgeoning immigration problem.
The writer also failed to mention that the rest of Western Europe's failure to deal with this very problem has brought it to the brink of disintegration and chaos at the hands of Islamic extremists.
It would seem clear, then, that Europe's 'heart of darkness' exists not within Switzerland, but within the Houses of Parliament in London, Paris, and Berlin, as well as within the corridors of the EU's Parliament in Brussels.
It would also be a big mistake to fail to mention that while 'enlightened' Europe dealt rather unsuccessfully with Adolf Hitler, Switzerland managed to avoid the stain, the stench, and the statism of totalitarianism.
The Swiss stayed out of WWII not because they did not detest Adolf Hitler and the Nazis but because their accepted policy on national defense forbade an attack on a foreign government unless they were attacked first.
Switzerland was the only nation in that part of Europe that Hitler did not invade. Neither did Stalin from the West.
The reasons most often cited by scholars for Switzerland's escape from attack are two-fold: Switzerland's unfathomably rugged terrain, and the nation's long-standing policy that all adult males belong to the militia for a specified number of years, which mandates that each male keep a government-issued fully-automatic rifle.
If a militiaman is an officer, he is required to be part of the militia 5 years longer than others and must keep a semi-automatic pistol in his home.
Had either Hitler or Stalin attempted to invade Switzerland, the two vast unknown variables would come staring them squarely in the face--navigating the rugged mountains would have proved nearly impossible and deadly, and facing a citizenry where every single male is armed would have surely produced massive bloodshed.
To this day, Switzerland's policy of an armed citizens militia still stands. Yet there are signs of opposition. Globalism, the influence of EU values, and immigration are all taking their toll on traditional Swiss values--values that have kept the nation free from invasion and economically strong.
A recent poll in Switzerland suggests that 2 out of 3 Swiss residents want a change in the nation's policy toward firearms. A 'Green' member of the nation's Federal Assembly wants the guns out of the homes. A proposal has been put forth which mandates that the firearms be kept at various government locations and that gun registration be implemented for private ownership.
As it stands now, no permit is required to buy a gun, although one must obtain a 'carry permit' in order to carry a firearm openly. Some of the nation's cantons--the equivalent of a 'state' in the U.S.--are very liberal in their issuance policies, meaning of course, that government monitoring is kept to a minimum.
Although Switzerland is one of the most heavily armed countries in the free world, the crime rate is very low. Deaths by firearms are amazingly low, most of which are suicides and the occasional murders of family members. Due to the rarity of these firearms deaths, the government does not bother to keep statistical information on such things.
When the country's total population of 6 million is taken into consideration, plus the fact that there are upwards of 3 million firearms owned by the citizens, the number of firearms deaths per year--an estimated 300 at the most--is minuscule.
Switzerland is not a part of the European Union, although many in the nation's younger generation desire closer ties to the EU. Many believe that eventually the Euro will become the nation's currency, although there is strong opposition to such a plan.
The creeping crawl of the EU and globalism is having an impact on the Swiss, no doubt. Under intense pressure from outside sources, Swiss banks have begun to selectively cooperate with foreign authorities in providing data to law enforcement personnel.
Historically this information was kept strictly confidential. However, the Swiss are under intense pressure from the global community to be a 'good neighbor' by cooperating more fully with members of the international community.
The pressure of the international community gives one pause to wonder if Swiss independence will withstand the onslaughts of leftists who wish to change society from top to bottom. Part of the problem has been immigration. Although Switzerland has been able to control its borders admirably, the issue of legal immigration is one of great curiosity.
Upwards of 25 percent of the Swiss workforce is foreign--one of the highest in Europe. With immigrants crowding into the country whose values do not mirror those of the traditional Swiss, the leftists have had natural allies in their attempts to reconstruct Swiss society.
So far Switzerland has been able to fight off the wolves in spite of the fact that they have invaded the hen house.
It is to be noted that the Founding Fathers of the United States government expressed deep admiration for the Swiss ideal of limited government. For centuries the Swiss have managed to keep that ideal intact. The country is known for a very small and limited central government bureaucracy, and the citizens are often called upon to address political concerns through national referenda.
The leftists are presently attempting to use the tools of democracy, such as the referendum, to implement very un-democratic policies, such as the confiscation of firearms.
A pertinent question arises to the forefront as a thorough consideration is given to these weighty matters: if something isn't broke, why fix it? Switzerland's traditional values of independence, democracy, economic prowess, and gun rights have kept the nation safe from aggression, crime, and economic decline.
This is no time to begin changing one of the most admirable societies ever seen in the history of the world.

Muslim Congressman Compares Bush To Hitler
Washington, DC (TLS). Speaking to a group of atheists, America's first Muslim Congressman, Keith Ellison, D-MN, compared President Bush to Adolph Hitler.
Asserting that the Muslim Jihadist suicide attack on the World Trade Center was another 'Reichstag' in Germany just prior to the Nazi takeover of the country, the Democratic Congressman from Minnesota stated that George W. Bush used 9/11 as an excuse to take over the country like the Nazis.
Believe me, Congressman, if that were true, you would have already been arrested for merely making your recent remarks.
The Reichstag was Berlin's parliament building that was burned in 1933. The Nazis used the burning of the building to justify a massive expansion of government power, eventually resulting in the registration and subsequent confiscation of citizens' firearms.
But this was only the beginning of woes.
Many historians believe that the burning of the Reichstag was the turning point in the consolidation of power by the Third Reich, giving Hitler broad powers to suppress dissent, control the media, outlaw free speech except that which favored the Nazis, and the massive, systematic incarceration of racial minorities and political dissidents.
Obviously, Ellison has not been reading his history. A mere cursory reading of the history of the rise and fall of Hitler will reveal that the measures taken by the Third Reich to oppress and dominate an entire population, leading to mass genocide, are in no way similar to the U.S. response to the Twin Tower attack.
80 million of us still have our guns, and we have no intention of ever giving them up.
We still have the freedom to dissent, or else Moveon.org would have been shut down.
For that matter, Ellison would be arrested for comparing Bush to Hitler!
The Press is certainly free, or else the New York Times could not continue its daily Bush-bash.
Ellison's charge that the Twin Towers attack was used by the Bush Administration as an excuse to dominate citizens is simply more of the conspiracy theorists' drivel, such as Rosie O'Donald's, which maintains that the whole thing was an inside job to justify to the public the government seizing power.
In actuality, these charges are a ruse to cover up the real threats to American liberty on the part of Leftists who wish to socialize medicine, use Fidel Castro's Communist healthcare system as a model for the U.S., take the profits of U.S. corporations right out of the hands of the stockholders in order to build up government coffers, strip the citizens of their right to bear firearms, etc, etc, ad nauseum.
One more thing before I finish with Ellison and his ilk. Look at who is at the forefront of the gun-control movement in America today. Who is it that votes to pass more restrictions year by year on gun owners? Who is it that insists that we must have massive registration drives to 'prevent more tragedies such as Virginia Tech'? Who is it that supports government gathering more information on citizens in order to determine who is 'worthy' to own a gun?
I can tell you it is not the Republicans, the Libertarians, or conservative Independents!
Just remember, it was the Nazi Party in Germany that supported firearms registration. Once the database was in place, they undertook a systematic plan to confiscate those guns from every single citizen in Germany.
Perhaps Mr. Ellison should reconsider just who are the real Nazis in America today.

THE LEFT WISHES DEATH TO TONY SNOW
Washington, DC (TLS). The news concerning the health status of White House Press Chief Tony Snow has sent Leftwing bloggers on a hate-fest.
Snow is suffering from a recurrence of colon cancer, which has spread to his liver.
Upon receipt of this news the Left wasted no time in hitting the blogosphere to post some of the most hateful, cold, and barbaric messages one can imagine, all aimed at Snow. One writer hoped that cancer would finally rid the world of Snow, whom the writer referred to as a liar. Another stated that the recurrence of Snow's cancer indicates that God hates him.
Many of these messages appeared on the website of Leftwing nutcase Adrianna Huffington. Others were posted on various and sundry websites that are frequented by the Commie freedom-haters.
This behavior is not new on the part of the Left. A mere two weeks ago we witnessed the very same sewage oozing from the mouths and pens of Leftwing nutcases as they heard the news of Vice-President Dick Cheney's blood clot in the leg. A near-unanimous chorus of these neanderthals wished death for Cheney.
If there were ever any doubt at all concerning the mindset, the pathology, and the rampant extremism of the Left, these deplorable messages should remove any doubt. These people are dangerous and they let nothing stand in the way of their subversive attempt to ruin American society by ushering in their Commie-Nazi plan for government control of every aspect of life...not even health problems on the part of opponents.
To the contrary, the Left views these health problems as a window of opportunity to seize more ground. If one more patriot in the tradition of Jefferson is pushed out of the way by health problems or death, the Left views this as nothing more than a tiny gap through which it can seize more power.
This mindset is absolutely no different than the implementation of the mass extermination of political opponents by such stalwart role models as Hitler, Stalin, and Pol Pot. Without coming right out and proposing such a thing overtly, the Left can hardly contain its utter contempt for those who oppose their march toward an Orwellian society.
Thus, rather than outright calling for the extermination of people like Bush, Cheney, Snow, or ME, they had rather take to the streets to celebrate heart disease, cancer, and death for those who adhere to the values of the Founders of this nation.
Besides, the news of the demise of conservatives, or of their health problems, just gives the coke-snortin' pot-heads another excuse to party and get zonked.

More on the Ominous George Soros
Washington, DC (TLS). What does George Soros have in common with Adolf Hitler and Karl Marx? A new expose into the background of the atheist billionaire and Democrat operative reveals some ominous facts concerning his upbringing, his values, and his view of the world.
As The Liberty Sphere has reported in previous articles, Soros is a Jew who hates Jews, a trait he shares with Hitler and Marx. And, as in the case of the former two subversives, Soros expresses that hatred in a concerted effort to bring down the Jewish state and any nation that supports it.
