Washington, DC (TLS). Speaking to a group of atheists, America's first Muslim Congressman, Keith Ellison, D-MN, compared President Bush to Adolph Hitler.
Asserting that the Muslim Jihadist suicide attack on the World Trade Center was another 'Reichstag' in Germany just prior to the Nazi takeover of the country, the Democratic Congressman from Minnesota stated that George W. Bush used 9/11 as an excuse to take over the country like the Nazis.
Believe me, Congressman, if that were true, you would have already been arrested for merely making your recent remarks.
The Reichstag was Berlin's parliament building that was burned in 1933. The Nazis used the burning of the building to justify a massive expansion of government power, eventually resulting in the registration and subsequent confiscation of citizens' firearms.
But this was only the beginning of woes.
Many historians believe that the burning of the Reichstag was the turning point in the consolidation of power by the Third Reich, giving Hitler broad powers to suppress dissent, control the media, outlaw free speech except that which favored the Nazis, and the massive, systematic incarceration of racial minorities and political dissidents.
Obviously, Ellison has not been reading his history. A mere cursory reading of the history of the rise and fall of Hitler will reveal that the measures taken by the Third Reich to oppress and dominate an entire population, leading to mass genocide, are in no way similar to the U.S. response to the Twin Tower attack.
80 million of us still have our guns, and we have no intention of ever giving them up.
We still have the freedom to dissent, or else Moveon.org would have been shut down.
For that matter, Ellison would be arrested for comparing Bush to Hitler!
The Press is certainly free, or else the New York Times could not continue its daily Bush-bash.
Ellison's charge that the Twin Towers attack was used by the Bush Administration as an excuse to dominate citizens is simply more of the conspiracy theorists' drivel, such as Rosie O'Donald's, which maintains that the whole thing was an inside job to justify to the public the government seizing power.
In actuality, these charges are a ruse to cover up the real threats to American liberty on the part of Leftists who wish to socialize medicine, use Fidel Castro's Communist healthcare system as a model for the U.S., take the profits of U.S. corporations right out of the hands of the stockholders in order to build up government coffers, strip the citizens of their right to bear firearms, etc, etc, ad nauseum.
One more thing before I finish with Ellison and his ilk. Look at who is at the forefront of the gun-control movement in America today. Who is it that votes to pass more restrictions year by year on gun owners? Who is it that insists that we must have massive registration drives to 'prevent more tragedies such as Virginia Tech'? Who is it that supports government gathering more information on citizens in order to determine who is 'worthy' to own a gun?
I can tell you it is not the Republicans, the Libertarians, or conservative Independents!
Just remember, it was the Nazi Party in Germany that supported firearms registration. Once the database was in place, they undertook a systematic plan to confiscate those guns from every single citizen in Germany.
Perhaps Mr. Ellison should reconsider just who are the real Nazis in America today.

The Rank Stench Emanating From Washington
Here is a small assignment for you. Go outside and stand facing in the direction of Washington, DC. Then, take in a deep breath.
Get a whiff?
The obnoxious fumes you picked up is the rank stench of corruption emanating from Washington.
The 2006 election cycle was supposed to be about 'restoring integrity to the political process in Washington' after over a decade of Republican leadership that supposedly gave us ethics violations, one of which was 'misleading us into war.'
As it turns out, the Republicans are all standing in line for Sainthood compared to the mob of ethically-challenged mongrels who run Congress now.
Let's look at a brief run-down of just how corrupt the new Democratic leadership has been in the few months they've been in control, shall we?
**Nancy Pelosi had a four-day party-bash to celebrate her coronation as Queen of the House, costing the taxpayers thousands of dollars. Her spending spree had continued with her globe-trotting as no other Speaker in the history of the House has done, including traveling to the Middle East to talk to our enemies and the parties involved in the Iraq War, which is expressly forbidden by the U.S. Constitution!
**Harry Reid, new Senate majority leader, was fresh from an ethics flap over some illegal campaign contributions when he took his new job. He escaped punishment by promising not to do it again and giving the money back. Wonder if that's enough to keep you out of jail if you are hauled to Court to face the judge for illegal activity? Reid also declared that America has lost the War in Iraq while our troops are still in harm's way.
**John Conyers broke federal campaign laws by using his Congressional staff to do campaign work. Once again, he promised not to do it again and all was well.
**William Jefferson was caught with $90,000 in cold cash (pardon the pun) found in his freezer. He has been charged with several felonies and yet not a word has been said of it by the House leadership. He still sits in his seat in Congress.
**Senator Dianne Feinstein sat on the committee that oversaw the granting of military construction contracts (she was the ranking member). As it turns out Feinstein's husband's companies were the recipients of millions of dollars of government contracts that directly benefited Feinstein and her husband. But do you think a word has been said by the Senate leadership about 'conflict of interest?' Feinstein still sits there in her seat in the Senate.
**Muslim Keith Ellison insisted that a Koran be used in his photo-op swearing-in ceremony...a book which forbids anyone from swearing allegiance to anything other than Allah. One wonders how he can swear allegiance to his country and the Constitution when the very book he had his hand on forbids swearing such allegiances. In addition, it was disclosed that Ellison had once defended and raised funds for the terrorist who once attempted to bomb Dianne Feinstein's home in San Francisco back when she worked for the city. And this is not to mention that Ellison's bid for Congress was supported by CAIR--the Muslim entity that has been named as an unindicted co-conspirator in a funds-to-foreign-terrorists scheme prosecuted by the U.S. Dept. of Justice. Yet, there he is, big as Ike, sitting in his seat in the House.
I could go further, but I will stop there with just the tip of the iceberg. It is said that what is seen and known of corruption is never the biggest part. That stench you smell emanating from Washington is but one small whiff of a much larger, hidden cauldron of corruption boiling beneath the surface.
As the saying goes, 'We ain't seen nothing yet,' particularly if Hillary is elected to the White House.

CAIR IMPLICATED IN FEDERAL PROBE
Washington, DC (TLS). A federal investigation into ties between Muslim groups in America and overseas terrorists has implicated, among others, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). The federal probe names CAIR as a co-conspirator in the illegal support of the terrorist Palestinian group, HAMAS.
Federal prosecutors have implicated three U.S. Islamic groups with conspiring to support Hamas--CAIR, the Islamic Society of North America, and the North American Islamic Trust.
To refresh your memory a bit about CAIR, remember that it was CAIR that forced the City of Los Angeles to remove a billboard stating that Osama bin Laden was a terrorist, because, as CAIR put it, it is 'offensive to Muslims.'
CAIR helped elect the very first Muslim to national office, Keith Ellison, D-MN, who insisted on using the Koran to take his oath of office.
More recently, CAIR issued a 'directive' to news agencies in the U.S. in the wake of the Fort Dix Six terrorist plot, instructing them not to refer to the perpetrators as 'Muslim.' Each of the perpetrators were, indeed, Muslim.
And let us not forget that CAIR meets on a regular basis with members of the Democratic Party in Washington concerning bolstering the image and influence of Islam in America. These are the people, for example, who insist that the nation cease to profile terrorists for the fear that they will be correctly identified as 'Muslim'
CAIR has a long history of dubious operations, often providing financial support for terrorist operations overseas. It is good to see that they are finally on the hot seat. Perhaps their legal hot water will prevent them from continuing their mode of operation of late, that of suing citizens into silence merely because they identified potential terrorists.

Muslim Congressman Calls Cops on Colleague
Washington, DC (TLS). Muslim Congressman Keith Ellison, D-MN, has called the cops on a colleague in Congress. His offense? Smoking a cigar in his own private office.
Congressman Tom Tancredo, R-CO, was enjoying a fine cigar within the confines of his private office on Capitol Hill when police came knocking at his door. The officer informed the Congressman that his colleague, Keith Ellison, who has an office next door to Tancredo's, called them because Tancredo was smoking a cigar.
Tancredo has permission to smoke within his private office as do all Congressmen. This is in spite of Nancy Pelosi's politically correct smoking ban in the foyer of Congress. This is one more example of the fact that the Nazi smoke police, the food police, the speech police, and the fat police have moved into leadership in Congress.
Apparently Muslim Keith Ellison feels that cigar smoking in one's privacy is a law enforcement issue. This is in spite of the fact that for years Washington, DC has had one of the most problematic crime rates in the nation. But nevermind that. In this crazy, mixed up world of political correctness where the individual choices of private citizens are looked upon as legal issues, apparently to light up a cigar is cause for calling out the cops. The victims of murder, robbery, and rape will just have to wait. We have the much more important task of interrogating a dreaded cigar smoker!
What a complete, unadulterated idiot.
The Liberty Sphere has warned of Keith Ellison many times, even before the November election last year. Ellison has a sordid background of supporting cop killers, even lending his support to the woman who was arrested and jailed for attempting to bomb the home of U.S. Senator Diane Feinstein of California back when Feinstein was a San Francisco government official. The Liberty Sphere had called on Congress to expel Ellison immediately upon his election for being unfit for the job. The Constitution contains a provision that allows this move, no matter what the 'voters back home' think. Obviously, the 'voters back home' in Ellison's case are about as intellectually-challenged as Ellison. The Founders believed that sometimes voters are so wrong, so blind, so brainwashed by skillful demagogues, that Congress should have a right to expel members. I can think of quite a few other than Ellison who need expulsion.
As for Tancredo's cigar, the Congressman states that he has no intention of giving it up. To that we say, BRAVO!
