White House Threatens Rush Limbaugh

Obama begins his intimidation tactics against conservative talk radio.

Read all about it at Columbia Conservative Examiner.

This could be a precursor to an all-out attack launched by Obama-appointee Mark Loyd, 'Chief Diversity Officer' at the FCC!

A Message to 'Comic Actress' Wanda Sykes

So you think a joke about 'hoping Rush Limbaugh's kidneys fail' is funny.

Mmmm. Interesting.

What if we made similar 'hilarious' jokes about Ted Kennedy, for example. Maybe something like, 'I bet he'll enjoy his brain tumor-induced seizures better than getting drunk,' or something of that sort.

Or better still, 'Hope he has a seizure while in the Senate chamber so we can laugh at him.'

That's not so funny, now, is it, Wanda.

You have done nothing but prove to the American public that you and your ilk (including Obama, who laughed at your hate-fest masquerading as a joke) are truly the most hateful, heartless, classless, and despicable human beings on the planet.

You are only one step away from being as bad as Al Qaeda.

The Cheney Offensive

No matter what you think of former Vice-President Dick Cheney, consider his latest interview during which he said the following:

*Obama's policies are a danger to the security of the United States.

*The interrogation techniques used after 9/11 saved countless thousands of American lives.

*If he had to choose between Rush Limbaugh and Colin Powell as the face of the Republican Party, he would prefer Limbaugh.

So far, he's batting 1000. Personally, I would have rather had Cheney as President than Bush from 2001-2008.

Forget Rush, Soros Controls Democrats!

The Rush Limbaugh controversy drags on as the Democrats think they have a winning strategy of hanging the radio talk show host around the necks of conservatives.

Now wait just a minute here.

Socialist billionaire George Soros wields enormous influence over the Democrats, and they want to claim the GOP is controlled by Limbaugh? Give me a break!

And this is the subject of my column today at Columbia Conservative Examiner.

Give it a read and pass it along!

Amateurs

The thing we all need to stop and consider is that the only way to adequately understand the Obama administration is to recognize that what we are dealing with is a bunch of amateurs, sophomoric lightweights who do not know what they are doing.

Take, for example, the Obama penchant for publicly going after each and every reporter who asks him tough questions or offers criticism, the latest being Rush Limbaugh.

While Democrats are falling all over themselves believing they have 'a winning strategy' by making Rush the focus of all opposition to Obama, at least one veteran Democratic strategist warns that the tactic is one big mistake.

Susan Estrich, longtime advisor to several of the top Democratic politicians and candidates in the country, warns that attacking Limbaugh is fraught with danger on every hand. Newsbusters
has the complete story.

ALERT! Obama Develops Nixonian 'Enemies List'

Via Matt Drudge, Politico is reporting today that Barack Obama is developing a Nixon-like 'enemies list' to target those in the news media who criticize him.

The focus at present is on Rush Limbaugh, whom the White House says it will 'monitor.'

But Rush isn't the only one. Obama has also called out Sean Hannity, and 2 reporters on CNBC who dared question his economic proposals that have done nothing but worsen an already dreadful financial landscape.

We warned about this before the election. Obama has a very thin skin and takes criticism personally. And, as he showed during the campaign, he will not hesitate to go after, in public, any reporter who asks him tough questions or criticizes his ideas in any way.

Sieg Heil!

'A Note to Mr. Steele': SHUT UP!

Michelle Malkin has 'A Note to Michael Steele' concerning his untimely and poorly-chosen words in criticism of Rush Limbaugh and the GOP.

He even agreed with a commentator that the GOP Convention 'looked like Nazi Germany.'

Michael Steele is turning out to be one of the worst mistakes the GOP ever made in choosing an RNC head.

So, here is MY note to Mr. Steele: 'I don't know what you are, but you AIN'T a conservative! And we don't need you out running your mouth like the other RINOS who have run the Party into the ground. So, SHUT UP!'

The GOP is in disarray, but conservatives aren't. We are as united and determined as ever...to rid leadership posts of vermin who stand against every single principle that made the GOP into a viable alternative to liberalism. And if the GOP is insistent on continuing on this course, we most definitely will bolt and bid you good-bye.

On the Radio--Rush Explains the Obama Game Plan

The much-anticipated Monday edition of Rush Limbaugh's radio program, the first since Barack Obama's attacks, focused heavily on the Obama game plan rather than rehashing the facts about Friday's meeting during which the President decided to take on a radio show host.

By now we know what Obama said. The more important issue is why he said it.

Some believe it is due to fear, that perhaps Obama fears Limbaugh's influence more than any other conservative in or out of government.

There may be some truth to that notion.

But as Limbaugh notes in the transcripts from this segment of the show, Obama's statement is more in keeping with an overarching game plan to attack conservative principles and undermine their sway on the electorate, rather than some deeper phobia about Limbaugh.

In socialist Saul Alinsky's book Rules for Radicals, which has had significant influence on Obama's ideology and methodology, the 'father of modern community activism' specified in detail the process by which to eliminate opposition from conservatives.

That process is encapsulated by this simple formula--'pick the target, isolate it, polarize it.'

Make no mistake, Obama has declared war on conservatives, and he is going to use the playbook of one of the most radical subversives the country has ever seen to carry out that war.

Matthews the Moron

Is Chris Matthews really a moron, or does he just act like one while attempting to be a news anchor?

The MSNBC anchor asked the question on Thursday, 'Does Rush Limbaugh hate this country,' because Limbaugh stated on the air that he hopes Barack Obama fails.

I said the very same thing, so I suppose that means I 'hate this country.'

Listen, Matthews, you dumb little thimble-brained twit. I want Obama to fail precisely because I love this country. And if you had one ounce of journalistic integrity in that sorry carcass of yours, you would have reported the context of Limbaugh's words.

Limbaugh had just reported that Barack Obama's ideas are socialistic. This is true. And, as most of us who are true American patriots know, socialism is antithetical to everything America has ever stood for.

Therefore, we want Obama to fail because we are against socialistic programs being introduced into a capitalistic society.

If I state that I want Obama to succeed, that means I am endorsing and supporting socialism.

This I refuse to do.

Thus, I want Obama to fail for the good of the country.

Now, MORON, I mean Matthews, tell us precisely why YOU want Obama to succeed? Are you a socialist? Do you look down your snobbish nose at the very capitalism that made this country the greatest in the world? Do you continue to accept a salary from a corporation that is run according to capitalistic principles?

If so, Matthews, and we all know it's true, then not only are you a moron, but you are a hypocrite to boot.

But of course, you know that yourself, you snarling, salivating, slithering, slimy piece of rabid humanity. Tell us how you live with yourself or go to sleep at night.

By the way, have you and your bosses at NBC gotten any of the mega-bailout bonanza Obama promised you before the election in exchange for being totally 'in the tank' for him, cheerleading the way?

Before we get through with the likes of you and your bosses, not only will you be bankrupt and off the air, but we will hold you accountable for our tax money you got but didn't deserve.

RUSH LIMBAUGH CENSORED! So, It Has Begun...

Conservative radio commentator Rush Limbaugh, the undisputed ratings king and the highest-paid radio personality in history, was to do a live-broadcast/real-time commentary on air of the Obama inauguration on Tuesday during the 12-12:30 PM time slot.

But several liberal station managers in a few key areas took it upon themselves to self-censor the Limbaugh program.

In keeping with the mindset and practices of Obama and his team with regard to television and radio programming they find to be 'problematic,' the liberal station managers simply refused to broadcast the 1st half-hour of the Limbaugh program.

So far, 8 stations have been identified as part of the censorship of Limbaugh, including stations in Boston, Raleigh, and Los Angeles.

After the election in November, the Liberty Sphere warned that the censorship of conservative voices in the media may not need the implementation of the so-called 'Fairness Doctrine.'

We were alerted at that time to plans made by the Obama team to bypass the implementation of the Doctrine by working on the local level with station managers and their own teams of 'media watch dogs' to censor unacceptable speech without much fanfare.

Apparently, with this level of cooperation they are already getting from some within the radio industry, they won't have much trouble in silencing conservative voices of dissent.

Sieg Heil!

How the GOP Can Win in 2012

Now is the time to for the GOP to change the primary season calendar and primary rules for the 2012 election campaign.

Unless this is done post-haste, then the Democrats will use the present system to beat the GOP into the ground.

To accomplish this task, all the Dems have to do is to use the Rush Limbaugh principle--Operation Chaos. Rush encouraged listeners to register as Democrats in the various Democratic primaries in order to vote for Hillary Clinton as a means of derailing the Obama machine.

It almost worked. But Rush started too late. Had he begun the operation on day one of the Democratic primaries, the GOP could have stopped Obama from being nominated.

After Rush began Operation Chaos, Hillary won state after state in the large battleground areas.

The Democrats will use their own version of Operation Chaos to make sure that the GOP selects the very weakest candidate to go up against Barack Obama. They will register as Republicans and vote in GOP primaries for the absolute weakest candidate.

There is a way to prevent that from happening, but the GOP must act now to change the rules and the primary calendar.

Hugh Hewitt at Townhall.com presents the plan as devised by Rush Limbaugh.

Limbaugh Responds to Huckabee's Olive Branch

As reported days ago on The Liberty Sphere, GOP Presidential hopeful Mike Huckabee asserted that he is running as the 'anti-Rush Limbaugh candidate'--a statement that raised eyebrows and stirred the ire of many conservatives across the country.

The rift started when a Huckabee campaigner stated in essence that the campaign did not need Limbaugh since he is, after all, nothing more than the mouthpiece of the so-called 'Manhattan chatters-D.C. axis.'

Limbaugh responded on Friday's broadcast that he is anything but a mouthpiece for the Manhattan-D.C. axis, but is rather a part of the Cape Girardeau-Middle America axis who has consistently stood for conservative principles for 19 years on the radio.

Limbaugh is a native of Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Michelle Malkin came to Rush's defense on Friday on her blog, which is read by millions. Malkin described Huckabee as the anti-Rush Republican, which no doubt left the candidate wondering if he had made a major blunder.

He did.

No GOP candidate is going to gain ANY traction at all with most GOP voters if they bash Limbaugh.

Thus, on Sunday Huckabee offered an olive branch to Limbaugh, stating that he had no interest in criticizing Rush and that the radio host 'should get in touch with me.'

Limbaugh responded by accepting Huckabee's words as sincere and genuine, but added that he doesn't need to talk to the candidate. In fact, Rush contends that Huckabee's campaign staff in Arkansas knows full well how to get in touch with him, which they have had ample opportunity to do but as yet have refused to do.

But there is one thing that Rush stated on his radio program on Friday that is a simple fact which needs no apology. The attack against him was very 'Clintonian' and designed to dumb down conservatism until it squares with Huckabee's record.

This was not an attack against Huckabee. This was the truth.

Thus, it appears that if Huckabee is to gain some airtime with Rush, then he is going to have to make the first move, which is only fair. After all, it was the candidate and his campaign team that opened this rift to begin with.

Second Amendment News Roundup for 12/21/07

NOTICE! The Second Amendment News Roundup will take a break for Christmas. There will be no roundup on Monday or Tuesday (Christmas day). We will resume next Wednesday.

Be sure to visit the Liberty Sphere throughout the holidays. We will, as always, provide provocative reading every single day of the year.

Focusing on guns and politics, here is today's Second Amendment News Roundup:

Another Congressional idiot has gone berserk. 'Leaky' Leahy, D-VT, has blocked the plan to require passports at the northern and southern borders:
http://www.cnsnews.com/ViewNation.asp?Page=/Nation/archive/200712/NAT20071221b.html

Mike McCarville posts Lee Bandy's assessment of Fred Thompson in South Carolina. Of course, I disagree with Bandy's assessment, as I have provided extensive evidence that Thompson is much more of a force here than is commonly recognized:
http://wwwtmrcom.blogspot.com/2007/12/in-south-carolina-thompson.html

A Keyboard and a .45 tells us about an afternoon at the gun shop:
http://akeyboardanda45.blogspot.com/2007/12/afternoon-at-gun-shop.html

Armed and Safe says 'dump 'em' rather than 'reform 'em.' We fully agree:
http://armedandsafe.blogspot.com/2007/12/id-rather-see-them-dumped-rather-than.html

Through the years I have become convinced that you can't put ANYTHING past the Clintons, even promoting Mike Huckabee because they know Hillary can beat him. Born Again Redneck has the story:
http://bornagainredneck.blogspot.com/2007/12/todays-conspiracy-theory-clintons.html

For the sake of fairness, Sebastian presents the opposing viewpoint (on this blog anyway) concerning the passage of H.R. 2640, which we strongly opposed. Many within the NRA opposed it as well. This shows that gun rights advocates can disagree and still work together toward the same ultimate goals:
http://www.snowflakesinhell.com/?p=2216

Nicki responds to some recent balderdash by laying out the facts, including some jabs at the Brady Gang:
http://libertyzone.blogspot.com/2007/12/pathetic-little-twerp-responds.html

Traction Control has the best endorsement for Fred Thompson ever, from a man who says that Christians don't have to support Huckabee just because the Huckster is one. It's Fred all the way:
http://tractioncontrol.well-regulatedmilitia.org/?p=868

Of Arms and the Law reports that Mitt Romney has once again endorsed assault weapons bans:
http://armsandthelaw.com/archives/2007/12/mitt_romney_end.php

Not only is Jack Pribek a musician but he is quite a good writer. Here he has an interesting read on the problems with ethanol and the possible solutions:

Red's Trading Post reports the latest news on the new ATF reform act:

http://blog.robballen.com/archive/2007/12/21/Quote-of-the-day--The-puzzled-immigrant-edition.aspx

Now we can safely say that Mike Huckabee has completely lost his mind. He is now attacking Rush Limbaugh and running as the 'anti-Limbaugh' candidate...not exactly a brilliant strategy for winning the conservative Republican vote. Michelle Malkin has the story:
http://michellemalkin.com/2007/12/21/mike-huckabee-the-anti-limbaugh-candidate/

The Buckeye Firearms Association reports that a political parody has sparked a pre-Christmas buying rush on guns:

Anderson Cooper Lied About Clinton Plant at GOP Debate

Rush Limbaugh is reporting today that CNN's Anderson Cooper knew the gay General who turned out to be a Clinton plant at the GOP debate, after all.

You may remember that in the aftermath of the discovery that Mrs. Clinton and several Democratic candidates had actually planted questioners at the Republican debate, Mr. Cooper denied that he or CNN had any prior knowledge that the General worked for Mrs. Clinton.

Yet a caller to the Limbaugh radio program today, a person who was chosen by YouTube to ask a question at the debate, stated that out of the entire group of chosen questioners, Cooper singled out the General immediately in the crowd and stated, 'Nice to see you, General.'

Thus, Anderson Cooper's claim of total ignorance in the entire matter is highly suspect at best and at least a barefaced lie on one point--the reporter knew who the gay General was, despite his denials.

The question is, did Cooper know that the General worked for the Clinton campaign? Many media observers say that it would be nearly impossible for CNN and its anchor NOT to know.

As we expected, the oozing, dripping sleaze from the Clinton Ladies Intervention Team keeps oozing on.

Oh, and add Anderson Cooper to the Clinton Ladies Intervention Team.

Two-Pronged Attack on Limbaugh/O'Reilly

Two things immediately come to mind concerning the attacks this week on Rush Limbaugh and Bill O'Reilly.

First, the notions that Limbaugh is 'against our troops' as the Democratic leadership in Congress claims, and that Bill O'Reilly is a racist as some in the mainstream media claim, are so completely ludicrous as to be laughable. Over the past 20 years as America's premier radio talk show host, no one has been more supportive of the American military than Rush Limbaugh. And those who know Bill O'Reilly know that the man is nowhere near being a racist.

These charges make those who claim them look like buffoons who cannot be taken seriously.

That would be no problem at all were it not for the fact that the nation's top Democrats are saying these things, from Harry Reid, to Hillary Clinton, to Tom Harkin, and many more. Their charges against Rush Limbaugh are so utterly over-the-top as to render the entire lot irrelevant.

Second, it is important to keep in mind who is bankrolling these types of character assassinations. The same money that is behind Moveon.org and its Petraeus-bash is also behind the orchestrated attacks on Limbaugh and O'Reilly.

Media Matters is part of the same network of ultra-leftwing organizations that include Moveon.org. It was Media Matters that took O'Reilly's statement out of context and labeled him a racist--a story picked up by CNN without even thoroughly checking out the veracity of the story.

Both Media Matters and Moveon.org get much of their funding from atheist Democrat billionaire operative George Soros.

Democrats depend on these groups for the majority their political campaign cash. And thus, while the country desperately needs leadership from Congress on a variety of issues of crucial importance to our future, the Democratic leadership spends taxpayers' money to go on a character assassination spree against two conservative talk show personalities.

Many inside the Beltway believe that this is only the first step, a dark foreshadowing of what is to come if the Democrats gain the White House. The Fairness Doctrine, as it is envisioned by Democrats, is designed to silence conservative voices in the media.

For example, with Hillary in the White House and the Democrats in Control of both Houses of Congress, there would be nothing to stop the march toward implementing the Fairness Doctrine, which would force Limbaugh, O'Reilly, Hannity, and many more off the air.

Thus, once again the Leftwing will be in complete control of all media as it was from the 1940s until the 1990s.

Perhaps the Democrats in Congress and on the campaign trail for the Presidency are underestimating the American people. The citizens have already seen the garbage, and therefore they are giving Congress the lowest approval rating in history--a mere 11%.

Further, a backlash occurred against the Democrats with the Moveon-Petraeus ad. We can reasonably expect yet another backlash as apparently the Dems have lost not only their political compass but their minds as well.

As the old political saying goes, these character assassinations 'will not play in Peoria.'

LIBERTY ALERT! Dems Won't Back Down on Fairness Doctrine

Washington, DC (TLS). Like a bad rash that won't go away, Democrats in Congress just keep scratching the infected itch to do something to silence conservative talk radio.

After losing a round in the House when an amendment to an appropriations bill was passed that barred the use of federal funds to revive the Fairness Doctrine, Democratic leaders in both the House and Senate indicated that they have no intention of giving up on trying to revive the ominous doctrine that would have the effect of silencing free speech on the radio.

There was a time back in the dark ages when such a doctrine was necessary. Radio was the ONLY form of electronic media. The Fairness Doctrine was implemented to keep citizens informed of political news on all sides of the issues.

Today, such a doctrine is simply not necessary due to the many various ways that Americans get their news. The fact that Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and Bill O'Reilly dominate radio does not mean the other side is not heard loud and clear.

And, as I have said, if Democrats and Liberals are hell-bent on bringing this monster back, then Republicans and Conservatives should make sure that the doctrine applies to mainstream network news.

This would mean that conservatives could demand equal time when Katie, Charlie, and what's-his-name on NBC roll out their nightly slant in favor of the Democrats.

And, of course, I would demand equal time to respond to Chris Matthews' nightly shenanigans.

Here are the details about the plan the Democrats are waiting in the wings to implement when they get a chance:

LIBERTY ALERT! DEMS TO PUSH RUSH, HANNITY OFF THE AIR

Washington, DC (TLS). This is a major Liberty Alert. For months we have been alert to rumblings among politicos in the Beltway that Democrats may revive the Fairness Doctrine from the 1940s as a means to silence conservative talk radio.

What started as rumor and whispers has now become reality in the form of a bill entitled, 'The Media Ownership Reform Act,' and is sponsored by Leftist Democrat Rep. Maurice Hinchey of New York.

Hinchey has made no attempt to hide his agenda in sponsoring this bill. At a forum entitled the 'National Conference for Media Reform,' which is funded by atheist Democrat billionaire George Soros, Hinchey blasted Limbaugh, Hannity, O'Reilly and other conservatives for being responsible for leading America into war.

Under his bill, he said, their voices would be removed from the airwaves.

'All that stuff will end,' Hinchey stated.

The Democrats and the Leftwing in America have suffered ever since the advent of conservative talk radio. For the very first time since the invention of electronic media, the Left has steadily lost its monopoly on the news. CBS, ABC, and NBC totally dominated the airwaves with a liberal slant on news stories for nearly 50 years.

It is interesting that during this era the Left enjoyed some of its greatest success. The forces that control the media get to determine content as well as which news stories get air time. The Democrats have been exiled from their perch as kings of the hill with the advent of conservative talk radio and Fox News.

They are determined to regain their lost position of power.

The problem is that the left-leaning media did not go away. It is still there in all its glory. ABC, CBS, NBC, and now CNN are all still giving us their leftward spin on news items, as always. But for the Liberals this is not enough, particularly in light of the fact that these news organizations have been losing viewers.

Thus, using the ruse of 'the Fairness Doctrine,' the Democrats want Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Bill O'Reilly, and others forced off the air by insisting on equal time for opposing points of view.

Of course, this demand does not apply to CBS, ABC, or NBC news programs, for as always, the Liberals vehemently deny any bias. In their minds it simply does not exist. The Left views ABC, CBS, CNN, and NBC as totally fair and unbiased sources of news.

And thus, with the Fairness Doctrine forcing conservative talk radio off the air, once again the Democrats and the Left will hold a complete monopoly on the news.

This is a George Soros-inspired scheme from start to finish. Soros' philosophy is that it is essential to control the news outlets as a prelude to introducing sweeping reforms in society, essentially turning the U.S. into a socialist nation.

My friends, this is a call to action. It is now time to contact your lawmakers in Washington to tell them that you vehemently oppose the Hinchey bill, 'The Media Ownership Reform Act.' And don't let them convince you that this bill is simply aimed at preventing monopolies from forming in the media, as some of them will surely try to do. Actually this bill does exactly the opposite. It will CREATE a leftist monopoly, meaning that Liberals will completely control the dissemination of news.

In the Senate, Leftist, Socialist Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont is the point-person for this bill.

So, don't waste precious time in putting off contacting your representatives in Washington, both in the House AND Senate. We MUST stop this push to silence conservative talk radio!
