Scott Rasmussen, pollster extraordinaire, has all of the latest.
Some of the more interesting info--
50% of American now disapprove of Obama's job performance while 49% approve. 56% of Americans disapprove of the Obama-Democrat healthcare proposals--that number has risen in the last week.

Rasmussen--Obama's Disapproval Rating at Peak
A full 42% of Americans now say they 'strongly disapprove' of Barack Obama. This is the peak so far of public disapproval.
Those polled also say they would replace Congress entirely--by 57%.

O's Poll Numbers Drop Like a Lead Balloon
Today we received the news that 41% (a full forty-one percent) of Americans strongly disapprove of Barack Obama's job performance.
Only 32% strongly approve.
In addition, 54% say they had rather have no change in healthcare at all than to approve the healthcare plan promoted by Congress and Obama.
All of the details can be found at Rasmussen Reports.
By the way, it is interesting to note that in just 6 months of office, Obama's job approval rating has dropped 20 percentage points--the worst of any President in 60 years.

More Bad News for Obama
Barack Obama's approval rating from the public has fallen to a new low of just 47%, as reported today by Scott Rasmussen.
Not only is this well below George W. Bush's approval rating at this point in his Presidency, but Obama's numbers are now the lowest at the 7-month level for any President in 60 years.

'O' Tries to Sell It, but the Public Ain't Buying It!
In what was obviously a staged 'townhall meeting' with an audience carefully chosen by Obama-thugs, 'O' tried to sell the public his snake oil cure for the healthcare system.
But the public ain't buyin' it.
The numbers tell the story, and I have them at Columbia Conservative Examiner.
Obama has no political capital left to get his agenda approved, unless he rams it down our throats whether we like it or not!

Rasmussen: Country Split 50-50 on Obama
Overall, 50% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President's performance. Fifty percent (50%) disapprove. For more measures of the President's performance, see Obama By the Numbers and recent demographic highlights from the tracking polls.
Other highlights--Americans overwhelmingly oppose the Obama-Democrat healthcare plan, Pelosi's approval numbers are dismal, and so are the numbers that approve of Congress.

Obama's Negatives Growing
Scott Rasmussen, who has issued a daily Presidential tracking poll for years, has reported that Obama's negatives are now greater than his positives. 34% of the country now strongly disapproves of Obama's job performance, while 33% strongly approves.
This is a much more telling number than the generic, overall 58% approval rating Obama supposedly gets from the electorate. While Americans still like Obama personally, the fact that there has been a major shift in the number who 'strongly disapprove' of his policies is a sign that all is not well in the Obama camp.
My hunch is that these negatives will only grow larger as Obama has from day one set himself on a collision course with American values and core principles.

THIS POLL IS PATENTLY FALSE!
In a blatant attempt to snowball the American public into believing Obama has overwhelming public support for the direction he is taking the country, the AP issued a poll today that is patently FALSE--particularly in the manner in which it is portrayed.
Using Obama's personal approval rating of 64% as a supposed indication that Americans overwhelmingly support his policies, the AP poll failed to show his skyrocketing negative numbers.
In addition, they merely stated that 'a majority' of Americans agree with the direction the country is headed without providing the exact numbers and percentages.
A majority by how much? How many? What is the percentage?
One had to read down to almost the end of the article to discover the exact figures of this supposed 'majority.' And guess what? It's not a majority at all, but only 48 PERCENT!
Not even half of those polled agree with the direction Obama is taking the country, yet the AP reported it as a 'majority.'
Here is the article.
Want to see how Obama is REALLY doing with some accurate polling numbers? Try this!
Obama's negatives stand at 44%. But the real clincher is when you compare those who 'strongly approve' with those who 'strongly disapprove.' In that equation only 6 percentage points separate Obama's positive numbers from his negatives.
Hardly a resounding endorsement from the electorate!

Nothing could be further from the truth, and a simple look beneath the surface proves it.
This is what I discuss today at Columbia Conservative Examiner.

Obama Approval Ratings Plummet
The worshipful awe of the new messiah-in-chief is apparently beginning to wane. The teflon coating of His Greatness is beginning to wear off.
Barack Obama's approval numbers are falling.
In fact, at present Obama garners roughly the same approval rating as that of George W. Bush at this point in his first term.
But look a bit more deeply and you will find some numbers that are a bit shocking--numbers that are not being reported in the mainstream media.
Scott Rasmussen's Daily Tracking Poll of how the country rates Obama as President shows that only 37% of Americans strongly approve of Obama's performance, while 23% strongly disapprove.
The approval rating most often cited last week in the mainstream media, 60%, is entirely misleading. According to Rasmussen, Obama's approval rating is 60%, but only when you include those Americans who only somewhat approve of the President's performance in office.
In one week alone, Obama's approval among Democrats slipped 12 percentage points. Among Republicans, his approval slipped from 12% to 9%, and among Independents the numbers dropped a whopping 17 percentage points.
Thus, a closer analysis of the numbers reveal a real problem brewing for Obama among the electorate. His 'honeymoon' is going to be very shortlived.

Disturbing News on Electoral College Estimate
Mike McCarville at The McCarville Report has disturbing news on the latest Electoral College estimates on the Presidential election of 2008.
According to the report issued on the basis of survey data in all 50 states, if the election were held today, Barack Obama would be elected President by an overwhelming Electoral College majority.
Obama would garner 320 electoral votes while John McCain would come in with only 215.
There is a silver lining behind this dark cloud, however. The latest Rasmussen poll taken yesterday shows that John McCain has pulled up into a dead-heat with Obama.
This news comes after months of polling data showing McCain running behind by an average of 5-6 percentage points.
Rasmussen conducts a daily tracking poll of trends in Election '08, and Saturday's poll represents the first time that McCain has polled above 45% since Obama secured the Democratic nomination on June 3.
Perhaps the Obamessiah is beginning to lose some of his political sex appeal.

National Poll Shows Obama Lead Growing
Scott Rasmussen, who does daily tracking polls for major news organizations is reporting today that Barack Obama has opened an 11-point lead over Hillary Clinton in a nationwide matchup among likely Democratic voters.
This is the largest lead to date that Obama has opened over Hillary Clinton.
As we have reported on The Liberty Sphere, Obama has significant liabilities in a head-to-head matchup with John McCain and may even be much easier to beat than Hillary.
In addition, McCain's approach to Obama may be much more effective than Hillary's confrontational jabs--a tactic that McCain would be much more reluctant to employ. McCain's low-keyed but focused approach to pointing out Obama's glaring weaknesses could well be very effective in a national head-to-head matchup.

New Poll: Obama Edges Passed Hillary
Washington, DC (TLS). A new Rasmussen poll just released today shows that Barack Hussein Obama has for the first time edged passed Hillary Clinton in the race for the Democratic Presidential nomination.
If likely Democratic voters were to make their choice today, Obama would win by 32%. Hillary would get 30% of the vote. John Edwards would come in third with 17%. The other candidates would lag far behind with totals under 5%.
This poll is significant in that it is the very first time since the start of the campaign that Obama has surged ahead of Hillary, who up until now has been the front-runner. But even more significant is the trend that these poll results show.
For the past 6 weeks or so, pollsters have noted a shift in voter preferences among Democrats. Hillary has been gradually losing support, particularly among those under the age of 40. Obama has been gaining steadily. The Rasmussen organization sees no indication that this trend will reverse in the near future.
However, it is to be noted that the razor-thin lead for Obama falls within the 4% margin of error. Thus, statistically, Obama and Hillary are tied.
The poll also notes that Hillary has opened a broad lead among voters over the age of 65--those who are most likely to vote. Conversely, Obama has opened a major lead among voters under the age of 40--those who are less likely to vote.
Thus, the battle is for those voters who are between the ages of 40 and 65.
