PALIN!

Not a single politically aware person does not remember John McCain’s surprise announcement of Sarah Palin as his running mate on August 29, 2008. The Democrat National Convention was wrapping up, Obama had made his grand speech, but all the political world was abuzz over the impending selection of Minnesota governor Tim Pawlenty as McCain’s running mate. The surprise and expertly choreographed announcement of Sarah Palin was one of a few grand McCain campaign moments.

(From Red State)

One year later, Sarah Palin continues to be a top news maker and symbol of hope for many conservatives. Yet her reputation was damaged by the manner in which the McCain campaign handled her rise from obscurity.

I make no attempt to hide that I am a Palin fan. And I hope she can bring conservatives of all stripes together to topple the Obama regime.

Having Fun While You Shoot

Gun owners know the importance of keeping their skills up to snuff. This is done with practice at the shooting range.

But practice shooting can be great fun with activities such as outdoor pin or steel plate matches.

Brigid provides an excellent read on this subject today.

It is important that we remind non-shooters that the shooting sports provide great fun and recreation, in addition to sharpening the skills needed in an emergency.

Oath Keepers Under a Hate Attack from SPLC

Regular readers of The Liberty Sphere know that we have extolled the virtues of Oath Keepers repeatedly. We do this because we believe that these patriotic individuals take their oath to protect and defend the U.S. Constitution VERY seriously.

Regular readers also know that we have exposed the Southern Poverty Law Center of Montgomery, Alabama for the sham that it is.

Now, the SPLC is undertaking a systematic effort to discredit and defame the Oath Keepers. The action is unconscionable.

David Codrea provides all the details in his column today.

Patriots must stand firm against the SPLC and other groups like them in their attempts to smear those who defend the Constitution.

'Chief Science Adviser' a Madman

His name is John Holdren, and he serves as Obama's 'chief science adviser.'

Holdren is a madman.

To read and understand the guiding philosophy of this dark, evil figure is reminiscent of the murderous 'doctors' and 'scientists' Adolf Hitler used during the Third Reich.

This is just one more example of the extremists around which Obama has surrounded himself.

More on the Storm--Federal Secrecy on Failures

The Feds want to keep secret the failure of their bank bailouts.

And the thing is, this is only the tip of the iceberg! Be sure to read the entire report from beginning to end!

Dark Storm Clouds Gather in Financial Sector

Things are not always as they seem on the surface.

Columbia Conservative Examiner reports dire financial consequences for the nation if we continue on the current course.

The problem? The nation is being governed by inept, sophomoric lamebrains.

Why is Obama quietly and persistently gathering around himself a politburo made up of the most radical, Leftwing revolutionaries in the nation today? What is the objective, the ultimate goal?

Today I explore this issue in my column at Columbia Conservative Examiner.

The survival of the Republic rests upon the continued citizen outrage against Marxist principles by this government, and the willingness of those citizens to vote in droves to oust the current occupants of Congress in 2010.
