The Gamecocks of the University of South Carolina travel to Kentucky for a big SEC matchup today beginning at 12:30 PM ET.
South Carolina is 4-2 on the season, but they face a very strong Wildcat team this year. Kentucky is 4-1.
Kentucky so far has beaten some of the strongest teams in the Southeastern Conference. Steve Spurrier hopes that his Gamecocks can pull off an upset. His offense seemed to finally come together, as they demonstrated last week against Ole Miss.
Chris Smelley's performance in that game earned him the position of starting quarterback in today's game.
