Tony Rezko, the Obama friend, fund-raiser, and advisor who was convicted on federal corruption charges this year, is spilling the beans on other corrupt individuals within the Chicago political machine and Illinois government in general.
While the Obama campaign claims it is 'not worried' that Rezko's cooperation with federal officials could impact the candidate's campaign, Obama has had a long association with Rezko dating back to the early days of his political career in Chicago.
Obama officials state that the focus of Rezko's finger-pointing would possibly implicate the administration of Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich, D-Ill., which is already under federal investigation.
But Rezko is the real-estate developer who brokered the deal for Obama to obtain his million-dollar home and a parcel of land next door. Rezko also raised thousands of dollars for Obama's campaigns for the Illinois legislature.
At issue, however, is the multi-millions Rezko gave to numerous Democrats in Illinois, not just to Obama. The 'under-the-table' kickback schemes could have broad implications for dozens of legislators, in addition to Governor Blagojevich.

Gee, I suppose nobody will notice the difference in treatment here of Obama's ties to this criminal, while they consistently misreport the Palin/State Police investigation. Wherein, even her political enemies said she did not do anything illegal. Of course, they didn't, if they had, they would be required to provide to proof. Better politically to besmirch than accuse.
Interesting you should say that. Just tonight on NBC News, the story of the politically-motivated bash of Palin in Alaska was reported, but NOT A WORD about Rezko. And I mean zilch, nothing.
