Biden Says If You're Non-Union, You Can Forget It

Vice-President Joe Biden stated on Thursday that the U.S. economic stimulus plan devised by Barack Obama and the Democrats is aimed at 'protecting and boosting Union jobs.'

So now the truth comes out!

If you work for a small business, or you work in the South (where most jobs are non-Union), then you can forget it. The stimulus plan is not designed for you, according to Biden.

What a clown.

And this should be the absolute, final, indisputable proof that Obama and his entire administration is nothing but a bunch of clowns.

Obama/Dems Put 25,000 U.S. Companies at Risk

Barack Obama has signed Democrat-proposed legislation, aimed at appeasing labor unions, that will place 25,000 U.S. construction companies at risk.

This outrage was done at the bidding of labor union bosses who contributed mega-bucks to the Obama campaign.

The legislation prohibits government contracts from being awarded to companies that are not 'unionized.' And thus, Barack Obama and the Democrats are discriminating against multi-thousands of American construction workers that do not belong to labor unions.

And the taxpayers once again get screwed.

If government contracts are awarded only to unionized companies that are significantly more expensive due to their union contracts than non-union companies, this means the taxpayers are going to be paying out the wazoo just because of a vendetta Obama has against non-union workers.

Thus, the idiot-in-chief strikes again. And let's not forget the idiots who support him both in Congress and in the electorate.

Another Reason Obama is Dangerous--UNIONS

Unions are responsible for much of the plight of American manufacturing, including automakers, in the nation today. At one time they served a healthy purpose. That day is no more.

But we now have a President that is as pro-Union as any U.S. President in history. The Unions heavily supported Barack Obama financially. Now they want payback, and he is certainly giving it to them.

But the new administration’s commitment to labor goes much deeper than just rhetoric or staffing decisions that have been praised by such organizations as the Communist Party USA and the Democratic Socialists of America.

In fact, much more dangerous to our nation’s history of free markets and individual liberty are the policies Obama’s pro-union forces are pushing.

In less than three weeks, Obama has already signed three pro-union executive orders, with another two on the way designed to steer money from his massive public sector bailout toward union firms.

And then there is labor’s top priority – the so-called “Employee Free Choice Act,” which among other provisions would strip away workers’ rights to a secret ballot in determining whether or not they wish to be represented by a union.

Unions, Environmentalists Scheme to Rob Pensions!

Earlier today, Americans for Limited Government announced that it had formally asked Labor Secretary Elaine Chao to launch an immediate investigation into a well-orchestrated plan by top union officials, environmentalists, and political interest groups to raid worker pension funds in order to push the green agenda.

Dems to Nix the Right to Secret Ballot for Workers

With the assault on free speech and gun rights initiated by the election of Barack Obama and a greater Democratic majority in Congress, it is not surprising that the Dems wish to torpedo another basic cornerstone of our democracy--the secret ballot.

It has long been assumed that in free societies individuals have the freedom to choose their leaders and make their policy preferences known through the secret ballot--free from the coercion inherent in public votes.

But during the campaign Barack Obama stated that he is in favor of ending secret ballots for workers when they vote on whether or not to unionize.

His Democratic partners in crime agree, mainly due to the fact that the entire lot is in the hip-pocket of big labor unions. They have been bought and paid for by big labor.

And big labor wants to force workers to vote to unionize by shaming them into it through the use of a public vote.

The labor union movement in America is a story filled with corruption, coercion, threats, and even murder. Can you imagine the pressure on an ordinary worker who is against unionization but is forced to make his opinion known by a show of hands, particularly if most of his co-workers are in favor of it?

The thing that makes the Obama-Democrat plan even more galling is the fact that even the Dems in the House and Senate often use the secret ballot for votes, such as they did recently with the election of the Chair of the House Energy and Commerce Committee.

But the Dems would deny that right to American workers when it comes to voting on whether or not to unionize.

This is just one more example of the hypocrisy of the Obama-Democrat assault on the rights of citizens. While keeping for themselves the right to a secret ballot, they would rob the citizens of that same right.
