NEWSWEEK OUTS ITSELF AS SOCIALIST RAG

Newsweek Magazine has confirmed what many of us have been saying for years (and harshly condemned for doing so, I might add) that the publication is nothing more than a Socialist rag.

According to NewsBusters the magazine blasts Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck for warning the public about Barack Obama's Socialist agenda and celebrates the notion that America 'is a socialist country like France.'

Newsweek's Jon Meacham and Evan Thomas are tired of all this talk of socialism. We need to stop talking about yesterday's news, they say, and embrace the great new fact that America is already a socialist country. They chortle that America is just like France. Meacham and Thomas chide Sean Hannity for using socialism as a dirty word because it "seems strangely beside the point." The pair is enthusiastic about our new American socialist society!

We are a European country and we like it, claim the Newsweek duo. Unfortunately, they seem to misunderstand so very much about what they speak.

At least we now know what the mainstream media actually thinks about Obama and the plan to turn America into a Socialist nation. Half of the battle is knowing how the enemy thinks, and when they admit it up front, we can then stop the debate about whether or not the news media is actively pursuing a political agenda and move on to actually fighting them.

Crittenden: 'He Won'

In response to Barack Obama's hissy fit encapsulated in the term, 'I won,' which he stated rather arrogantly to a Republican who dared question his use of taxpayer money, blogger Jules Crittenden does an outstanding job in fleshing out the term.

He won.

Therefore, all criticism should cease. All questions should be hushed. All opposition must be squelched.

'The One' who 'was born for this moment in history' is now in office, and everyone must simply acquiesce to whatever he says or wants.

Funny how nobody who is saying this asinine stuff believed that in 2004 after 'Bush won.' Why didn't all of his opposition simply sit down, shut up, and let 'the one who was chosen' do his work unhindered?

Funny how all the rules that now seem to apply to Obama never applied to anyone else.

Oh, and just in case anyone has any doubt, the opposition to Obama, which is substantial in the country, will NEVER be silent about our disdain for his ideas. So, get set. It's going to be quite a ride for the next 4 years.

And as for The Liberty Sphere, you can bet your last drop of holy saliva that sits on your newly anointed lord and master's tongue that we will be right here, each and every day, blasting away at Obama as long as we believe he is wrong.

ALERT! RUSH RESPONDS TO FUHRER OBAMA

The day after being slammed by President Barack Obama in a meeting with Congressional Republicans, Rush Limbaugh has responded to the outrageous, infantile comments of the Fuhrer-in-Chief.

Apparently, the comments were part of a calculated move by the Obamessiah to 'divide and conquer.'

A case can be made that he also took a page out of socialist Saul Alinksy's playbook on how to defeat those who stand in the way of the march to Socialism.

OBAMA SLAMS GOP, RUSH LIMBAUGH

Like a tantrum-throwing, infantile puppet-king in his newly-formed fiefdom, Barack Obama slammed the GOP and Rush Limbaugh in a meeting on Friday with Congressional Republicans.

It is clear from Obama's statements in the meeting that he is not open to bipartisan cooperation with opponents as he has repeatedly suggested.

Our only conclusion is that the President has been lying.

When confronted with criticism of his socialistic programs for the economy, Obama seemed to bristle and then come out swinging. He told GOP leaders that 'you can't listen to Rush Limbaugh if you want to get things done.'

Excuse me, Mr. Fuhrer, but YOU do not get to tell ME who to listen to! Got it?

I don't know who you think you are, but you are NOT a dictator, and you were not elected King. You are just a man who happens to be President. That does not give you unlimited power.

Further, Obama slammed another GOP critic in the room who dared to question the President's decision to spend billions in taxpayer dollars for contraception at a time when the economy is sinking.

Obama looked at the Republican representative and said, 'I won. I will trump you on that.'

So what? The fact that 'you won' doesn't mean you get no opposition. We told you beforehand we would fight you tooth and toenail on every single initiative you propose as long as you continue to spout your ultra-liberal, socialist nonsense.

Thus, from my perspective, Obama just launched a war. If he wants to play this game, we will meet him head-to-head, toe-to-toe, eyeball-to-eyeball.

Remember, Mr. President, conservatives can shut you down if we chose to do so. We will stage walk-outs in Congress, we will take to the airwaves, the TV, the radio, the newspapers, the blogs, every avenue we can think of, in order to warn the American people of just how dangerously drunk with power you seem to be.

Your statements in that room today with Congressional Republicans represent an immaturity that is shocking for a President. It was entirely unnecessary and uncalled for. And if this is what we can expect, you can expect to be bombarded with opposition so thorough and so heavy that you will lucky to get anything at all done in Congress.

We are NOT going down the road you wish to take us, Mr. President. Just try to make us.

And if you think you can work with us by attacking Rush Limbaugh and parading around bragging that 'you won,' then you can forget it.

Now We're Racist If We Call Obama a Socialist!

As we have witnessed with our own eyes throughout this campaign, ask an uncomfortable question of Obama, and you are 'racially motivated.'

Criticize the new 'Emperor-in-waiting,' and you are obviously a rank racist.

Promise to oppose the Emperor's pronouncements, and you are most assuredly a member in good standing of the KKK.

And now, a columnist in the Kansas City Star claims that for Obama critics to refer to the Marxist 'Chairman Ba-O' as a Socialist is a mere code word for 'black.'

The columnist then goes through a litany of various and sundry persons from America's past who referred to civil rights leaders as 'Socialist,' meaning of course that rather than appear racist they used the term to avoid using the word 'black.'

Perhaps the writer is in dire need of a history lesson. Socialism has its roots in Marxism and had nothing to do with Blacks. The movement was born among whites in European countries.

The record of history shows that the number of blacks who could be called 'Socialist' is a small minority compared to the large numbers of Caucasians who deserve the designation.

But since the good columnist thinks 'Socialist' means 'black' and denotes racism on the part of those who use the term, I am more than willing to oblige and stop using the term.

'Commie' is a much more appropriate description of the Obama plan for America.

In fact, 'Communist' is, in my view, a much more accurate description due to the fact that Socialism in practice is part and parcel of the Communist system.

'What Voters Need to Know'

The 'Transformation Figure' that Mortifies

The great modern General Colin Powell, who will throw his friendships, associations, and country under the bus in order to support Barack Obama, referred to the 'emperor-in-waiting' as a 'transformational figure.'

But as Roger Kimball (h/t to Instapundit) says, 'We don't know the half of it!'

Apparently this 'transformational figure' that the media and liberals have already proclaimed as our next emperor will bring about 'the change that mortifies.'

It will be the death of free markets, the death of the strength of America, the death of prosperity, and the death of freedom.

An Obama Presidency will most definitely be a case of killing the patient to treat an ingrown toenail.

The Dumbed-Down Generation

As I contemplated the possibility that the Obama bandwagon could well steam-roll over all of us who cherish liberty, the thought occurred to me that this could be the culmination of years of hard work by those who have a vested interest in destroying America.

The 60s generation gave us school busing, lower standards in schools, safeguarding 'self-esteem' at all costs even if it means giving passing grades to those who can't read, and of course, Leftwing radicalism that called America evil and Communism/Socialism good.

Some among that generation never gave up their vision for a different kind of America where the Constitution is considered a relic of the past and where government is all-powerful.

After all, the Constitution was written by 'a bunch of old men who believed in slavery,' as Whoopie Goldberg stated during an interview with John McCain some time ago on that joke of a TV program, 'The View.'

This, of course, is meant to silence all defense of the Constitution out of the fear one may be tagged as a racist.

Whoopie, of course, failed to mention that this very Constitution FREED slaves. One cannot hold people who lived in the 18th century to 21st century concepts. But the principles espoused by those 'old men' in the 1700s led to slavery being outlawed in the 1800s. The principles themselves were so forward-looking that even the Founders didn't know all of the ways in which liberty could express itself.

In addition, many products of our public school system today seem to think that mass murderers like Che Guevara, Joseph Stalin, Fidel Castro, and Chairman Mao are pretty cool guys. Communism and Socialism are accepted as good ideas. Nevermind that in each case where these ideologies gain a foothold, citizens are robbed of their rights and multi-millions are murdered by their own government.

Do most students in America today know this?

Absolutely not!

Even John Edwards, Joe Biden, and Barack Obama didn't know that the Second Amendment is a right, not a privilege. And each of these are lawyers!

By the way, why is it that not a single reporter in the media has asked Barack Obama why his campaign offices across the country have pictures of Cuban mass murderer Che Guevara hanging all over the walls? Guevara, of course, was one of Fidel Castro's hatchet men when he first came to power in Cuba, making sure the opposition was minimized by the systematic slaughter of ordinary citizens.

But of course, Fidel Castro is considered a pretty good guy by Obama supporters as well.

Yet the Obama-worshippers in the mainstream media think we who oppose Obama are an 'angry mob!'

This must be la-la land. What's good is called bad, and what's bad is called good.

Therefore, it is no wonder that in 2008 a large number of Americans are going to march into the polls like zombies and pull the lever for a radical, anti-American, neo-Communist who believes in infanticide and outlawing handguns in this country.

The social engineers of the 1960s planned this out from the beginning. You see, in order for revolution to occur, you don't need guns or violence. All you need is to take over the school system, dumb down the students by lowering standards, withhold information about the Constitution and the men who wrote it, brainwash them in the ways of Socialism/Communism, until one day in the future you have an entire generation of Americans who think it's absolutely splendid that a person with an ideology like Barack Obama runs for President.

That one day in the future is now.

ALERT! LEFTWING HACKS SAY WE'RE A 'MOB'

Two major leftwing hacks, Maureen Dowd and Frank Rich, stated on Saturday that McCain and Palin have been out stirring up 'mob anger' toward Barack Obama.

Both Dowd and Rich are ultra-liberal columnists for the New York Times.

And both are entirely WRONG about McCain and Palin 'stirring up the mob.'

The two leftist columnists should know that average, everyday, God-fearing, hard-working, taypaying, responsible citizens in the heartland of this country are scared to death of Barack Obama and his extremism.

Their anger has been slowly rising the closer we get to Election Day due to the fact that they know the truth about Obama and are seething about the fact that this man may actually get elected to the Presidency, when he could not even get a security clearance for a government job due to his ties with persons of dangerous reputation.

Governor Sarah Palin is not to blame for Barack Obama's votes to kill infants who survive botched abortion attempts. Senator John McCain is not to blame for Obama's sleazy relationships with terrorists and thugs in the corrupt Chicago political machine.

No, Ms. Dowd and Mr. Rich, Barack Obama did those things all on his own. And now he must take responsibility for his actions and pay for them with being denied the White House at the very least. He may even need to go to jail, depending on what Tony Rezko tells the Feds about him.

Alerting the voters to the myriad of highly troubling problems surrounding Barack Obama is not stirring up a mob. It is telling the truth, which the mainstream media and columnists like Dowd and Rich are NOT doing.

Thus, in the eyes of Obama disciples and their mouthpieces in the mainstream media, I am now part of a 'mob' because I am angry that someone like Barack Obama could get this close to the White House. My fellow bloggers who oppose Obama tooth and nail are now considered part of a 'mob.' Gun owners who cherish their God-given and Constitutionally-protected right to bear arms are now part of a 'mob' because they are livid that a man who stated publicly that all handguns should be banned in America is on his way to becoming President, if we believe some of the polls.

And last but certainly not least, those who are outraged that a man who voted 3 times to disallow medical care for infants that survive botched abortion attempts is within a hare's breath of being elected are now referred to as 'a mob mentality.'

No, Ms. Dowd and Mr. Rich, these are the best and brightest among us.

And thus, if the outrage the ordinary citizens in the heartland feel toward Barack Obama makes us a 'mob,' then I will gladly take my spot as part of it. We are angry that the media of which you are a part has thrown its hat into the ring for Obama, openly campaigning for him when it is supposed to be neutral.

And we are mortified over the prospects of an outright Socialist being elected as President of the United States of America.

I supposed Dowd and Rich in their almighty wisdom would refer to Washington, Jefferson, Franklin, Henry, and John Jay as 'a mob' because they were livid over British rule and actually defied authority on behalf of liberty.

Yes, I am proud to be associated with such mobs. And if getting angry about what is about to happen to this country is what it takes to save it from socialist tyranny, then so be it.

Socialist Buys 30 Min. Political Ad on TV Networks

The Socialist, Barack Obama, is apparently using his millions in dirty money received from terrorist organizations overseas and the likes of George Soros to buy up 30 minute TV ads on the major networks.

We can expect Barack to give quite a performance, just as he has done so far in the campaign.

Like a carefully scripted soap opera actor, Barack can move audiences with his feigned 'I feel your pain' melodrama, which is usually followed by swoons from the intellectually-challenged--even the men, such as Chris Matthews.

We can also expect some Americans who allow their emotions to dominate their brains to respond to the Obama act with statements such as, 'I just feel he connects so well with me. He understands me.'

My friends, con artists on the street understand you pretty well--which is how they get away with their crimes. They make it their business to understand you, how you feel, what motivates you, and how to 'connect' with you.

A Socialist with soothing words and a pleasing personality is still a Socialist who will rob you of your rights. We can only hope that enough people are left in America who know this and will rise up to prevent the coming disaster in November.

Citizens Blast Obama in McCain-Palin Rally

In a joint appearance by John McCain and Sarah Palin in a 'town hall meeting' style rally, several of the citizens who took the microphones blasted Democratic Presidential candidate Barack Obama.

One voter asked McCain, 'How on earth did we get to this point in America? How did a man like him (Obama) get this far and so close to the White House?'

Another said, 'I am angry. VERY angry. Angry that a Socialist has gotten so close to being elected President in this country.'

The entire arena erupted into cheers as McCain and Palin smiled.

These 2 brave Americans got it right. They have a right to be angry. And they have a right to know how such a charlatan whose meteoric rise to this level has stunned even longtime political observers.

Frankly, I am heartened by such outbursts. It shows me that I am not the only one who is angry and sickened that the most liberal member of the U.S. Senate, a member of the Socialist Party of Chicago, seems to be acceptable to so many of my fellow citizens.

Now, if our side can only get angry enough to get their neighbors and friends mobilized on Election Day to vote down the Obamination bandwagon, then we may be able to win this thing.

So, let's do it, my friends! We must STOP the abomination from getting elected!
