Former Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean showed his ignorance (yet again) by saying that Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor's statements on race were 'taken out of context.'
When asked what, exactly, was the context, Dean admitted he didn't know.
Another idiotic liberal.
Read all about it here.

SHOCK-JOLT! DEMS DEFEND INFANTICIDE!
In a shock-jolt heard and felt around the world, Democratic leaders have defended Barack Obama's advocacy for infanticide by supporting his votes to withhold medical care from babies that survive botched abortion attempts.
While Obama and the Democrats claim the candidate voted against the bills in the Illinois legislature because, supposedly, 'the state already had such laws on the books,' other legislators insisted no such laws existed.
The usual suspects came to Obama's defense, such as senior Democratic leaders 'Little Chucky' Schumer and Howard Dean, who believe that there should be absolutely no reasonable limitations on the 'right' of parents to kill newborn infants.
While the Democratic leaders attempt to frame this issue in terms of abortion and Roe v. Wade, the bills in the Illinois legislature actually had nothing at all to do with the right to an abortion.
The single issue was a botched abortion procedure where the baby survived and was placed in a dark closet with no food or water to die.
THAT is infanticide, not abortion, and Obama voted on 4 separate occasions to support it.
No amount of verbal gymnastics on the part of Little Chucky or Howie can change that simple, stark fact.
No fact could make it any clearer that the Democratic Party leadership is totally out of touch with the basic human values that characterize the great citizens throughout the American heartland.

Are the Democrats Back to Party Boss Rule?
Vestiges of the old days of Party bosses sitting in smoke-filled rooms, engaging in arm-twisting and outright heavy-handed control of the process seem to be overshadowing the Democratic Party in the 2008 Presidential campaign.
Democratic National Committee Chair Howard Dean has all but decreed that one of the two Democratic candidates for the Party's Presidential nomination should drop out of the race by June.
Excuse me, but, what if neither Clinton nor Obama have the required number of delegates to be the clear winner in June?
This, my friends, does not matter in the thinking of the bosses behind the scenes.
Dean's objective is to prevent the nomination process from going to the Convention floor in the late summer, despite the fact that it appears that Democrats across the nation are clearly divided as to who they prefer to run against John McCain.
Thus, the Party of 'letting every vote count' seems to be under the rule of Party bosses, or in this case, the Party boss, Howard Dean.
If neither Obama nor Clinton have enough delegates to be the clear winner in June, how is it fair to require one of them to drop out, even though their rival may have more delegates? Party rules do not state that whoever has the most delegates wins but that whoever reaches the required 2024 delegates is the winner.
For example, suppose at the end of June Obama has just over 1800 delegates to Clinton's 1550. Obama would be short of the required number to win by 224. Clinton would be short by less than 500. In that scenario, neither candidate wins.
And this is precisely what Dean and the Party bosses wish to avoid--allowing the individual voters in the Party to control the process. The Party elites fear the process going to the Convention floor in spite of the fact that apparently this is the choice of the majority of the rank and file Democratic voters.
The Democrats set up these rules for themselves. Party bosses have no business intervening in the process.

Dems to Raise Cash on Bush Firings
Charlotte, NC (TLS). Democrats see a cash cow in manufacturing a scandal over the Bush firing of eight U.S. Attorneys. DNC Chair Howard Dean smells blood and is using the faux scandal to raise cash among the Party faithful, who see nothing better than a massive scandal as a means to raise mega-bucks for the Party.
Remember that The Liberty Sphere warned readers last October and November of how a Democrat-controlled Congress would attempt to manipulate the news media and public opinion by bombarding the citizens with the continuous message that 'Bush' is be thought of only with the term 'scandal.'
We also predicted that if there were no real scandal, the Democrats would manufacture one and keep it at the center of focus until the 2008 election cycle.
Dean wasted no time in getting the ball rolling, claiming that this is Bush's 'Watergate.'
Bull.
What Dean and the Democrats are deathly afraid of is what the replacements of those eight prosecutors will do with the scandals involving top-name Democrats in Congress.
John Conyers broke federal campaign laws. Yet he was made Chair of the House Judiciary Committee by Nancy Pelosi. Harry Reid's hand was caught in the cookie jar accepting illegal contributions. He gave the money back after he was caught.
What if the average thief were treated the same way? I mean, what a way to go. Steal money, get caught, give the money back, and not only will you not face jail time, you will probably be elected Mayor of your town.
Barack Hussein Obama has also been caught in shady dealings involving land.
And these are merely the tips of the icebergs.
If Bill Clinton can fire all 93 U.S. Prosecutors for political purposes, then surely Bush can fire eight. But it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that it is not the firings themselves that have these ethically-challenged Demos in a dither. If such firings were the real issue, then they would have all had strokes over Clinton's canning of all 93.
The real issue is that the new U.S. Attorneys will more than likely be much more aggressive in investigating the massive corruption of Democrats in the U.S. Congress.
