"Reactions"

In my daily reads I came across this brand new post for today that is worthy of 'high priority' ranking.

Western Rifle Shooters Association presents a piece that every concerned American citizen who is sickened over the current direction of our government should read. Make it today's top priority.

Here is an excerpt:
But boys and girls, it is no-shit well past time for those men and women of good faith within government to start linking up with the Resistance and getting as much info and materiel out to the freedom team as possible. Every day that you folks sit on the sideline, the more each of you is tarred forever more with the indelible fecal smear of Comrades Soetero, Pelosi, and Reid.

The very same cry goes out for those who do not work for government to get busy.

Read, think, and ACT.

When the Washington Post Criticizes Pelosi, Reid...

When the Washington Post criticizes Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, the Democrats who run the House and Senate respectively, you know we have a major problem on our hands.

The Post has never been known for its objectivity when it comes to Democrats and Republicans, with the Democrats, of course, always coming out smelling like a rose.

But the abject, rude partisanship that has characterized the 'rule' of Pelosi and Reid at the expense of the minority GOP for the past 2 years has caught the attention of even the Post.

We know Democratic lawmakers have taken their bully-boy tactics too far when even The Washington Post worries about the lack of civility in the 111th Congress. As the Post notes, during the 110th Congress "Democrats brought more measures to the House floor under closed rules - permitting no amendments - than any of the six previous Republican-controlled congresses." Barring amendments to proposed legislation, of course, means take it or leave it, which renders floor debate all but meaningless. But then a meaningless floor debate is fitting since House members of both parties often don't even bother to read measures before voting on them.

Considering how Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi are treating Republicans in the new Congress, the brazen muzzling of minority rights will continue.

Clearly, Democrats demand the rights of the minority...until they are in the majority. It is then they rule with an iron fist that would make Hitler and Stalin proud.

Sieg Heil!

Political Buzz: Reid's Politically Calculating Move

When Senate Majority leader Harry Reid, D-NV, stated recently, 'I don't work for Barack Obama,' many assumed this was a signal that the incoming President would not have a rubber-stamp from Congress in spite of the fact that his own Party runs the place.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

You can bet your last Smith & Wesson that no matter what Democrats say publicly, Obama is going to have fairly smooth sailing when it comes to this Congress. All if not most of his Cabinet nominees will be approved quickly. He will get most of what he asks for with little opposition.

Reid's statement was politically calculating, period, end. Nothing more to it.

The Senator is going to be in the fight of his political life in 2010 as he faces re-election at a time when Congress' approval rating is in the single-digits and when his own approval rating in Nevada is dismal.

Nevada also went for George W. Bush both in 2000 and in 2004, despite its falling into the Obama column in 2008.

Just as Americans threw a tantrum and threw out many Republicans, they can just as easily turn against Democrats and Obama. And Reid has already seen signs that his constituents in Nevada may be getting ready to ditch their Senator who has presided over the single most unpopular Senate in U.S. history.

Reid also knows that publicly distancing himself from Obama may be good strategy come 2010.

I have never attempted to hide my utter disdain for Senator Harry Reid. FreedomSight has just given reason for me to place the 'Senator' beneath contempt. Just wait till you read what the Senator says about taxation. Did you know we have a 'voluntary' system of taxation in America? What an a**hole:
