Probe reveals New Black Panther ties to Hezbollah

Two separate investigations into the New Black Panthers have been conducted this month, one in response to charges of homegrown terrorism and the other in response to the group's placing a bounty on the head of George Zimmerman, the alleged shooter of Florida teenager Trayvon Martin.
The results of the twofold probe, one of which was released yesterday, reveals New Black Panther ties to the Middle East terrorist group Hezbollah.
Congressman Peter King, R-NY, has been investigating Hezbollah's activities within the United States as part of a Congressional probe into homegrown terrorism. King is Chairman of the House Committee on Homeland Security. Part of the results of his investigation can be read here.
On the heels of King's report came another significant development yesterday...

Was ObamaCare merely a clever ruse?

As conservatives on the U.S. Supreme Court seemed to indicate that they have major problems with the new medical care bill's individual mandate requiring all citizens to buy health insurance, an interesting question has come to the surface among some political pundits concerning the controversial law--was ObamaCare merely a clever ruse?
Apparently some political observers think so.
In an article today at American Thinker, Daren Jonescu articulates the point of view held by some that Obama and Leftwing never actually wanted the individual mandate at all. The ultimate goal, says Jonescu, was a single payer system of healthcare, meaning that government would control the entire enchilada and medical insurance companies would be put out of business.

Rush Limbaugh quietly winning the war

After radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh used terms that many believe were derogatory about the law school student who advocated for free birth control coverage, some organizations and politicians associated with left wing causes declared war on the popular radio personality in an attempt to get him removed from the air.
However, in a report released today the entity that syndicates the Limbaugh program, Premier Radio Networks, indicated that the king of talk radio has begun to turn the tide and win the war against him.

Alphecca says that the Remington gun and ammo manufacturing company has warned the New York legislature and Governor that unless they back off their stupid anti-freedom gun and ammo restrictions, they will move the company out of state, taking a thousand jobs and loads of tax revenue with them. Gingrich financier says it is the end of the line

A major Newt Gingrich financier stated today that it is the end of the line for the Republican Presidential candidate in terms of getting more money for his super PAC.
The Gingrich campaign has relied upon large donations to its super PAC, Winning Our Future, from casino mogul Sheldon Adelson.
Adelson's connection to Gingrich is reportedly based upon the candidate's strong support for Israel. Born to Jewish Ukrainian immigrants, Adelson believes that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is the man to lead Israel during the present time of upheaval in the Middle East, and he donated funds to get Netanyahu elected.

Media coverage of Trayvon Martin death reveals wide disparity

A survey of media coverage, conducted by this reporter over the past five days, of the Trayvon Martin death in Florida reveals a wide disparity of details which has more than likely contributed to confusion on the part of the public concerning the facts of the case.
Martin's death occurred all the way back on February 26. Yet numerous individuals have stated to this reporter on social networking sites that they thought the incident occurred early last week due to the manner in which the media suddenly appeared to blare the news of the case all over the airwaves.
The major news outlets in fact did not begin reporting the incident until well known civil rights leaders began to stir up emotions based upon their opinion that Martin's death occurred as a result of racial hatred.
Early in the coverage, local media outlets in particular seems to play up the racial angle. That meme was later picked up by the mainstream media, which referred to a 'nationwide public outcry' against the alleged shooter, George Zimmerman, and the Sanford, Florida police department.

Trouble for ObamaCare at the Supreme Court

The ObamaCare healthcare reform law ran into trouble today at the U.S. Supreme Court as several justices focused on the mandate to require all Americans to purchase medical insurance.
Justices Alito, Scalia, Kennedy, and Roberts indicated that such a mandate breaks new ground and would forever change the relationship between government and its citizens.
CNN went as far as to describe today's hearings as a 'trainwreck' for ObamaCare.
Of concern to the conservative justices on the Court is the law's requirement that citizens enter a market--the medical insurance market--which the commerce clause was never intended to address if one is serious about original intent. Never in the history of the Republic has the clause been used to justify the federal government's forcing citizens to make purchases that they may not wish to make.

Jackson calls for repeal of self defense laws in wake of Trayvon Martin death

In the wake of the Trayvon Martin shooting in Sanford, Florida, Rev. Jesse Jackson yesterday called for the repeal of self defense laws, such as the 'Stand Your Ground' statute in Florida that allows citizens leeway in the use of firearms to protect their lives and property.
Jackson made the remarks during an address before an African American congregation yesterday in Eatonville, Florida, which is located 20 miles from the Martin shooting.
According to the Miami Herald, Jackson referred to Trayvon Martin as a 'martyr' and likened the spilling of his blood to that of Jesus Christ. Using the familiar hymn on the death of Christ entitled, There's Power in the Blood, as his theme, Jackson declared, "There's power in the blood of Emmett Till! There's Power in the blood of Medgar Evers! There's power in the blood of Dr. King!"
Jackson then called for the repeal of Stand Your Ground, stating that the law prevented police from placing under arrest George Zimmerman, who allegedly shot Martin while fulfilling his duties as a community watch volunteer.

GOP operative says no rules violations in Missouri caucuses

A GOP operative who helped spearhead a major rules change at the National Republican Committee in 2010 states that as far as he can tell, the Missouri caucuses did not engage in any rules violations as some have charged.
Mike Ridgway, a former Ron Paul supporter who has been helping the Rick Santorum campaign, told this reporter last evening that the reason Santorum got short changed in the awarding of delegates in Missouri is that the Paul and Romney camps are better trained at following party rules.
Missouri's Republican Primary, which is held in February, is non binding. No delegates are awarded as a result of that vote. Delegates are awarded at county caucus meetings, which were held around the state on March 16. And the rules concerning how county caucuses go about awarding delegates appear confusing and even tricky to the untrained eye.
