Full Live-Texting of Arizona Shooting

I have been live-texting all afternoon the unfolding events surrounding the shooting of Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords.

You can find the full record of the tragedy, as it happened, at Conservative Examiner.

It is not surprising that Leftists are already blaming the shooting on the Tea Party, Sarah Palin, and even Congresswoman Giffords' opponent in the Nov. 2 election.  This is a most despicable development.

Read for full details.

ALERT! Newspaper in New Zealand Blasts David Codrea

It seems our friend David Codrea, National Gun Rights Examiner, is taking some heat in New Zealand over his remarks about the country's gun policies.

The New Zealand press is fighting back, blasting Codrea for supposedly for taking 'pot shots' at the country.

But the newspaper made it abundantly clear how they view Americans in remarks published today...which only goes to show that America is our last stand for freedom.  The world as a whole, including supposed 'free nations' has succumbed to the creeping crawl of government oppression, and the sheep in their populations are going along with it.

Thus, there is no place for Patriots to go.  We stand here and fight to the death.

Mainstream Media Goes Berserk Over Tea Party, Conservatives

They're at it again.  They just can't help themselves.  The talking heads of the MSM are simply so myopic, so clannish and inbred, and so sheltered from the vast world outside the beltway, that they cannot imagine anyone holding views that are different from theirs.

Read about the latest all-out assault on the Tea Party and Conservatives today at Conservative Examiner.

The MSM has in essence declared war on us.  We will not retreat from the fight.  They want to do battle?  Bring it on!  I will meet them eyeball to eyeball, toe to toe anytime, anywhere to debate the issues.  We win hands-down in the public marketplace of ideas where RATIONALITY reigns supreme.

Poll Results Are In--Second Amendment News Roundup to Continue

By an overwhelming majority, regular readers of The Liberty Sphere voted to continue with the Second Amendment News Roundup, which has been a daily feature of this blogs for 3 years.

As promised, I will gladly continue doing the Roundup IF my readers clearly expressed their preference that it continue.

83% of respondents said that the 2A Roundup is very important.  Another 13% said that the Roundup is 'somewhat important.'  Taken together, this represents 96% who said that the feature was either very or somewhat important.

Only 3% of respondents stated that the Roundup is not important to them at all, while only 1% said they did not care one way or the other.

Thank-you for your participation in the poll.  I am happy to say that nearly all of the daily readers of The Liberty Sphere participated.  It is a pleasure to be able to provide information that you faithful readers find to be important.

Since its launch date in September of 2006, this little blog has managed to amass 3-quarters of a million readers--over 700,000.  I expect that sometime during 2011 I will pass the 1 million mark.

Granted, I am nowhere near the same league as Brigid, David Codrea, Mike Vanderboegh, Tam, or Western Rifle Shooters, but this thing has gradually built up a very loyal following for which I am deeply grateful.

As long as I have health, strength, and breath, I will continue to strongly espouse the values I believe to be central to our survival as a FREE people.  God bless!  And Happy New Year.
