With the New York Times calling for the resignation of South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford, it is imperative that we consider some deeper issues at play.

Sanford should not resign, unless some corruption is shown in spending state funds in the trips to the Pampus. But things being what they are with the press these days I'm quite sure he will be forced to step down.
