Geller: Dems Sacrificed Blago Because 'He Knows Too Much'

Suppose the entire scenario of the Rod Blagojevich impeachment case in Illinois is an attempt by some very powerful people to silence the former Governor.

This is precisely what Pamela Geller asserts.

We know already that Blago had extensive contact with Obama Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel over the vacant Senate seat. We know that Obama's top aides have been called as witnesses.

Let's say that Blago knows too much...that he is fully aware of who shot Joe and where Joe is buried. And let's say that this knowledge implicates some people at the very top in government.

It is not very far-fetched to postulate a theory that one of the reasons Blago was quickly thrown under the bus, in spite of deep corruption on the part of others in government, was to discredit him and therefore, shut him up, or at least make his words less trustworthy.

A very telling feature of the entire fiasco was the fact that Blago, in making his rounds to the various TV outlets prior to his removal from office, repeatedly called for the testimony of Rahm Emanuel, Valerie Jarrett, and others in the Obama administration and in Illinois government.

I have a hunch that the powers-that-be are scared to death of what Blago knows. I simply want to know what, exactly, they don't want to be disclosed to the public.

And if I were Blago, I would hire me an extra body-guard or two...

He might want to hire an extra A&P (Aiframe and Powerplant) mechanic or two, also.

Well trained explosive sniffing dogs might serve him well also. Now we can assume that Airedales really have a purpose.

Well this deserves a really big Duh!!

I wonder when he shows up in Ft Marcy Park?

SA and Snooker--if he survives we can only surmise that it will be due to his extensive connections to the Chicgao political thugs with whom he is associated.

Wait a minute...Barry-O and Rahm are in that group too!

Oh well, perhaps a gang war?

No, just the mob protecting itself from a possible snitch. No gang war, just an agreement among capos.

I have to wonder, though, what has Blago already told the federal prosecutor, and we have to remember that Tony Rezko has supposedly been singing like a canary in jail, coughing up names.

Nahh, that isn't the way it works. The way it works is Rezko or others in the same situation keep being assured that "we will take care of you, just clam up, we got a deal working".

Being egocentric as most crooks are it doesn't occur to them that they have become disposable. So they clam up. Then they go tits up. And are thus "taken care of".
