Growing numbers of citizens ready to fight gov't tyranny

Various reports published by alternative news sources across America show that growing numbers of citizens are now ready to fight what they believe is abject tyranny on the part of the federal government.

One of the tell-tale signs of such growth is the stark proliferation of militia groups. From New York to South Carolina, from Arkansas to Idaho, militia groups are not only exploding in growth but experiencing a new interest in their philosophy and activities on the part of average citizens.

Although militias have always been around, something has changed within the past four years that has provided renewed impetus and motivation for such groups.

Obama wades into controversy, attacks 'stand your ground'

Excerpt:

"... those who have observed Obama's patterns for several years knew that it would be next to impossible for Obama to restrain himself from commenting on a local scenario that has absolutely nothing to do with the power of the federal government in any way whatsoever. To Obama the federal government is all-powerful and can interject itself in local issues whenever it pleases.

"Further, Obama's remarks provide a glimpse into the mindset of Obama and his closest allies when it comes to race, self-defense, and the power and scope of the federal government."

So it has come down to this -- stop, drop, and cower

The growing centralized surveillance state, formerly known as the United States Government, is showing just how thoroughly they see the citizenry as subjects rather than citizens.

A subject, of course, is a person who lives under tyranny. That tyranny can be in the form of a dictatorship, a monarchy, rule by an elitist Party of the state (Communism), and a host of other totalitarian governments.

Subjects are viewed merely as pawns who live solely to fulfill the purpose of the state...

Holder stirs hornet's nest with attack on self-defense

The right to self-defense, according to most citizens who are actually concerned with human rights, is one of the most basic human rights that legitimate governments can aim to protect.

The concept goes far beyond that of simple gun rights. In order to be secure in one's person and free to move about with little or no interference from marauding mobs, a human being must be convinced that he has the freedom to defend himself against all who intend harm to him, no matter where he happens to be.

It is not enough simply to be holed up in one's home, shivering with fear in a corner hoping that no one bursts through the door to take your life before the cops get there.

Race riots ensue: 1960s redux

Excerpt:

"Two things are clear as the nation braces for further escalation of racial tensions in the days ahead. One, the nation has learned precious little from its past. And two, the current occupant of the White House, who was supposed to signal a nation totally healed from its racial sins of the past, has only served to revive and worsen racial tensions.

"During the 1960s America was beset by two distinct groups that took to the streets to stir up violence. Viet Nam War protesters were the source of one set of riots. Race protesters were the other."

Political madness ensues post Zimmerman trial

Many pundits concluded long ago that America has lost its collective mind by electing the most outrageously shameful politicians to the top offices in the land.

But with the verdict of not guilty in the murder trial of George Zimmerman in Florida that madness has only deepened.

Barack Obama stated late today that the best way to "honor Trayvon Martin" is to pass stringent gun control measures...
