If you are not yet scared out of your wits, now is the appropriate time

The news today concerning the NSA surveillance program is ominous. A whistleblower has come forward to reveal that the agency has done precisely what conservatives and liberty watchdog groups, such as the Tea Party, have warned about repeatedly for years.

Not only as the NSA engaged in spying on Americans within the context of terrorism, which led to the current scandal engulfing the Obama administration, but it has spied on all Americans, without a warrant, without providing to a court evidence of suspected crimes, and without informing citizens they are under investigation.

Gun manufacturer ditches Connecticut for South Carolina

When the hysterics kicked into high gear following the Newtown massacre, rather than focusing on actually protecting children the anti-gun activist machine set its sights instead on the 100 million gun owners, 99.9 percent of which never use their firearms to commit crimes.

Although the push by Obama and Congressional Democrats to pass national gun control laws failed, some of the various states were highly successful in approving new laws that directly restrict the gun rights of citizens, in violation of Constitutional prohibitions.

Colorado, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Maryland are but a few examples of states that severely restricted citizen gun rights.

But in many areas the citizens have fought back....

Fact checking Obama on spying on citizens

It is a safe bet to say that Barack Obama has lost the trust and confidence of the public, even among some of his most ardent supporters. Fox News reported, for example, that Obama's approval rating dropped 8 percentage points in one month.

And the man who launched Obama's political career from his living room, long-time friend and colleague Bill Ayers, stated Monday that Obama needs to be charged with "war crimes."

Of course, it goes without saying that Ayers and his wife, Bernardine Dohrn, have yet to face the consequences of their domestic terrorist activities in the 1970s during which they admitted the bombing of federal buildings resulting in at least one police officer being killed...

Time to abolish the IRS

In light of recent scandals that have rocked the Obama administration in multiple agencies of the federal government, now is an excellent time to push to abolish the IRS.

As bad as the reports of spying on citizens by the NSA have been, along with other high profile scandals such as Benghazi and the targeting of news reporters and organizations, the IRS scandal is perhaps the worst of all due to the fact that government employees deliberately targeted individual citizens and conservative organizations for harassment, delays, and unfair denials of tax exempt status.

Ever since the federal government amended the U.S. Constitution to allow for an income tax and a bureaucracy to collect those taxes in 1913, Constitutional purists have decried the practice and the agency as a blatant violation of what the Framers intended.

The last strand of the last straw

The U.S. Supreme Court, otherwise known as "the black robed scoundrels," pulled apart the last strand of the last straw holding the Republic together when they handed down a decision today nullifying the new Arizona voter registration law.

The rogue court ruled that in states where there are large numbers of illegal aliens a voter is not required by law to present documentation that he is, in fact, a citizen of the United States.

This decision only adds impetus and momentum to the growing movement in some areas to allow illegal aliens to vote and could have broad ramifications concerning states that wish to stem the tide of voter fraud and election tampering.
