Democrats show signs of election year stress

Although the mainstream media has attempted to play up peripheral issues that distract from the concerns of most voters, Democrats are beginning to show signs of election year stress as it gradually becomes clear that most of the circumstances are stacking up against them.

While the mainstream media and liberals focus on the misstatements made by pro-life Missouri Senate candidate Todd Akin, voters have indicated in numerous polls that abortion rights and pro-life issues barely register on their radar screen in terms of priorities this election year. Americans are most worried about the economy, jobs, the national debt, and out-of-control government spending. These very issues are the ones about which President Obama does very poorly in voter surveys.
