Issa subpoenas White House Records, Media Claims 'Witch Hunt'


As expected, U.S. Representative Darrell Issa, R-California, who chairs the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, issued a subpoena today to Attorney-General Eric Holder in connection with the scandal known as Operation Fast and Furious, or Project Gunwalker.
So-called 'mainstream media watchdog groups' that are notorious for covering for news bias, however, immediately began to portray the subpoena as a 'witch hunt' and lambasted Fox News anchor Chris Wallace for allegedly helping Issa conduct it.
The subpoena is extensive in scope, directing that Holder turn over a large number of documents and records of communication from his office. Issa demands, with the full backing of his legal status in Congress, that the DOJ, the FBI, the DEA, the ATF, ICE, and the U.S. Attorney's office in Arizona turn over all documents and records of communication related to the Gunwalking scheme, Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry's murder, along with surveillance tapes from the Lone Wolf Trading Store 
A bombshell, however, lurks in the middle of the subpoena. Issa has directed that the White House submit communication records from the Executive Office of the President...
