Second Amendment News Roundup for 5/17/2010

Focusing on guns, politics, and news of interest regarding firearms rights, here is today's Second Amendment News Roundup:

David Codrea says it's futile to expect the GOP to oppose Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan because of guns.  I will add that it is looking futile to expect them to oppose her over her assault on free speech as well.  Spineless weasels.

Kurt Hofmann wants to know exactly what the Lautenberg anti-gun bill is supposed to protect us from.  These purveyors of tyranny don't want us protected.  It is quite that simple.

Vanderboegh, speaking of nominee Elena Kagan, has a link to a .pdf file that has her fingerprints all over the gun-grabbing initiatives of the Leftwing.

Western Rifle Shooters Association has 'The Grey Girl'--excellent piece on girls/women with guns.  Go.  Read.  Watch.  Think.

Tam reports some issues with the .32.

Newbius says he had two most pleasant events to brighten up his weekend--a question-and-answer session with Alan Gura, and dinner with Breda.

Say Uncle provides us with some gun porn.

John Jacob H posts a video that shows us 'the high price of defenselessness.'

Free in Idaho has essential reading entitled, 'Sick Blue Attitude.'

Alphecca points to an article that shows the great difficulty of owning a gun legally in D.C.  THIS is where the anti-gun bigots wish to take us.
