Only One ACORN Fell From This Tree

Congress voted this past week to de-fund ACORN, the community-activist organization front-group for the 'get out the vote for Obama' campaign. They will not get any more of our tax dollars, supposedly.

That is, unless you consider that the group has dozens of subsidiary organizations that go under different names, each getting their own share of the taxpayers' booty.

But this tree has dozens of acorns that need to fall, not the least of which are SEIU, the Apollo Alliance, the Tides Foundation, and many others--organizations that are also in bed with Obama and get millions if not billions from the public treasury.

By the way, Apollo actually wrote TARP-II, the Obama stimulus package approved by Congress without even being read. No wonder nobody knows what's in these bills anymore--Congress isn't writing the bills as they are required under the Constitution. They are being written by special interest groups with a vested interest in getting certain things funded under the radar screen.

And we all know what a fiasco the stimulus bill was--the bailout of Wall Street big-shots who duped the American people and sent the economy into a tailspin.

Oh, and just so you know, the 'Daddy War-Bucks' who is behind most of these murky, sleazy organizations around Obama is none other than George Soros, the billionaire who wishes to bring down American capitalism.

I think you may be right when it comes to the Senate version. But the House version cut off all federal funding for the organization, not just the housing part...unless I have been misled.
