I was really surprised when Gramps McLame didn't vote to confirm her too..

You know, given McCain's history, I have to wonder if the reason he voted no was due to the fact that he knew she would be confirmed anyway. Knowing this fact gave him the freedom to cast a vote for nothing than pure political motives--i.e., to attempt to 'prove he is really a conservative at heart.'
Not gonna be fooled by that one...
