UPDATE! Blue Dog Dems Storm out of Committee!

Stating that they had been lied to by House Committee chair Henry Waxman, D-California, a group of conservative 'blue dog' Democrats stormed out of a meeting with Waxman concerning bringing the government takeover of healthcare to a floor vote today.

This report was filed by The Hill.

The Blue Dogs contend that the House Democratic leadership, Waxman in particular, ceased to negotiate with them 'in good faith,' and that they (the conservatives) were merely trying to 'save their Party.'

“I’ve been lied to,” Blue Dog Coalition Co-Chairman Charlie Melancon (D-La.) said on Friday. “We have not had legitimate negotiations.

“Mr. Waxman has decided to sever discussions with the Blue Dogs who are trying to make this bill work for America,” Melancon said.

Although those Blue Dogs were supposed to be headed back into another meeting of the Energy and Commerce Democrats, their anger was visible.

Obviously, the Democrats are in complete disarray over this monstrous plan that has sharply divided their own Party.

This is going to sound very un-Ayn Rand-ish, but I don't care. Sue me!

Oh, fraptious joy! There is a God in Heaven, and He hears and answers His childrens' prayers! We just have to recognize His hand in our earthly affairs, and thank Him.

The Dems are falling apart. There may be hope yet that this Obamanation of DeathCare will never be passed! We see the DemSocialists true methods. Ram it through, even if everyone hates it, as long as it progresses their Communist agenda.

Is it time for the short ropes and tall trees yet?

Great News! Let round one begin, Dems against Dems! Get ready to take over Conservatives once the liberal and Blue Dog Dems fight it out in public and the country gets a good look at them and the real "Change" that they and their annointed "one" are bringing to bear on our nation.

Watching the Democrats self destruct will be a time for sitting back with some popcorn and a cold Guinness as far as I am concerned.
