Pelosi Should Step Down

With her integrity increasingly in doubt, it is time for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to relinquish her role as Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives.

This is the subject of my latest op-ed at Columbia Conservative Examiner.

What can we say about someone who would prosecute government officials for waterboarding, when she admits she knew it had been used as far back as 2003, yet said and did nothing?

Step down? Heck no. It is way too much fun watching her twist in the wind.

She has gotten sideways with the CIA, is getting sideways with the Administration, and the MSM smells blood in the water.

The longer she is big news, the more the Dems are shown to be the opportunistic liers that we all know they are.

JR--there is method to my madness. Look at who more than likely would replace her (Hoyer). Look at how he is much more rabid than even Pelosi. His bull-in-a-China-shop approach would keep Congress in a dither over 'torture' while the Obama agenda would be placed on the back burner...

Obama really kicked an ant hill with his ill-advised and politically motivated release of Bush Administration memos regarding EITs- I’m sure he already regrets it.

Let’s have a hearing and get it all out there, shall we? Then watch the rats scatter who attacked Bush for protecting the country from terrorist attack… but who clearly knew what was going on five years before we heard a peep out of them

Nancy is hollowing foul and calling timeout, but the onrushing events are catching up, the clock is winding down, the game is almost over and her speakership is becoming history.
