CITIZEN REVOLT KICKS INTO HIGH GEAR

What began as a small trickle with the election of Barack Obama and became a stream with the taxpayer Tea Party revolts has now become 100-year flood as California, arguably the most liberal state in the Union, has overwhelmingly rejected the Obama philosophy of increasing government spending and raising taxes.

Although Californians voted for Obama by 62%, an even higher number rejected a series of ballot initiatives that called for increased spending and massive tax hikes in order to address the state's dire economic emergency.

This is the stuff of which revolutions are made! Read all about it at Columbia Conservative Examiner.

This has broad implications for the entire country!

Great article Anthony. I wanted to comment over there but the new security box just appears all black!

One of, if not, the primary reasons that I left California in 1978 was Prop. 13. I knew I would never be able to buy a home after that. The two class citizen thing was too much to bear.
Now the fruits of their labor have come home, and what was once a wonderful place to live has turned into a veritable nightmare.

So much for socialism...

Thank-you, sir.

Yeah, I saw that new security thing they put on there this morning. Looks like they still have some bugs to work out.

As for California, the thing that is so galling about it is that most voters there don't make the connection between the policies they support and the dire circumstances those policies have created. They want their cake and eat it too.

It'll never work.

Look for Obama to try to bail them out with federal tax dollars. Then you will see a potentially violent reaction in the heartland, and 'O' can kiss his ass good-bye in 2012.
