Barack Obama has admitted that his plan to raise taxes on energy will result in an average increase of $1800 per year per household.
This means that our electric and gas bills will skyrocket through the roof.

Do you still believe that Obama is really going to lower the taxes of the middle class? Just wait until you start paying for these Democrat-initiated tax increases on energy in a couple of years.
And the gall that they display in rolling out this plan in the middle of a severe recession is simply unconscionable, proving once again that Obama and company are not one bit concerned about the middle class or the poor or anything else but advancing an agenda.
And that agenda is to force Americans to conserve by taxing the hell out of them. Thus, we freeze in the winter and roast in the summer...just like the good little environmentalist wackos want us to do.
They will then take all of that money that they confiscate from the taxpayers and pour it into environmentalist-wacko approved energy sources. Solar, big wind, ethanol, and hydrogen fuel cell will all benefit. But oil, gas, coal, and nuclear will suffer.

Solar? *gasp* You can't have that, Feinstein says it's bad for "aesthetics" and scares turtles! Wind? Nope. Can't have that either. It spoils the Kennedys' view.
I'm almost certain they'll throw a fit about ethanol once they realize all the trees in the world will need to be cut down to make space for growing enough corn to replace gasoline. And if mass production of hydrogen based engines ever becomes feasible, they'll probably block that too because hydrogen might explode and hurt The Children™.
These people won't be happy until we're all living in powerless shacks like the North Koreans.
Well, you know that in order to have a 'ruling class' within the Socialism-Communism model, you have to keep most of the people poor and needy.
Ok, but there is an upside. The oh so principled followers of the Mad Irishman will turn him and his minions out at the next opportunity when he his THEM in the pocketbook.
That isn't what they signed on for. They signed on for screwing "those other people", never realizing that to the powers that be we are all "those other people".
Gotta admit, that makes laughing around the pain a whole lot easier.
The goal is to break America thoroughly, then remake it in a Marxist mold.
You know this to be true.
The entire agenda is to cripple everything uniquely American and destroy every advantage we still have. It is not meant to fix ANYTHING. It is meant to break EVERYTHING.
Finance. Oil. Nuclear. Mobility. Privacy. Personal property. Money. Ammunition. Firearms. Personal prosperity. Families. Free speech. Economic choice. Small farms. Even our spare time. All targets.
Think about it.
Our resistance and their incompetence are our only saving graces... even then, this has the potential to be our darkest hour.
