As citizens across the country are beginning to realize that Barack Obama and the Democrats have just taken them for fools with this massive trillion-dollar stimulus scam, they are taking to the streets to protest.
According to Michelle Malkin, thousands showed up in Seattle on Monday to protest the taxpayer-funded pork-fest, and another such rally is planned today for Denver.
It's the Boston Tea Party all over again!
Michelle herself is even going to personally deliver a roasted pig for the event today, in 'honor' of the purveyors of pork, such as Obama, Reid, Pelosi, and Little Chucky Schumer.

I think a national Tea Party is exactly what we need. Can we get everyone to start displaying Tea Bags. I have 3 tied to the rear-view mirror in my truck, stapled to my mailbox in front of my home and tied to the gate entering our courtyard.

A splendid idea. We all can do our part in our little corner of the world. Now we need to get Michelle Malkin, Gateway Pundit, and others with a national audience to push it. The thing could really take off.

The buzz is that there is already being planned a massive 'Chicago Tea Party' in July. That may be within driving distance for you.

Not good enough! Democrats are immune to insults (they have no shame).
To scream for a stimulus package one week and then raise taxes the next is an affront to our intelligence.
We are the producers. A general tax boycot is what we need. If several million people refused to file tax returns... refused to pay their taxes...refused to withhold from their employee's payrolls... then the government would take notice.
Anon, I agree about the non-filing of taxes. I wrote about this very thing months ago...civil disobedience in the era of Obama, and part of it involved refusing to pay taxes as a citizen revolt against not only government spending but the socialist programs we are being forced to fund.
When I saw this report on Fox last night I almost fell over. I read a book by GA Freiman this summer called Conservative Outcomes. He predicts an upstart political movement that swings the balance of power in our current system.
Freiman states that it takes rough times before people turn to conservatism. He predicts many other conservative trends over our lifetimes.
Trina, we can only hope that he's right.
And don't forget, today is the day for dozens of Tea Parties in cities across the country!

Can't you see? Paladin ( anonymous ) has a point. We can't just argue about little petty incidents, because they control the press - it's THEIR grounds and they can make the rules. No, we must stop the problem from the source. The President, Congress, everyone who started this. We have to, for the sake of America's government, flush them out and replace them with unbiased civilians - uncorrupted people.
