Hamas Sends More Rockets Into Israel

Even as Barack Obama is telling Palestinian leaders that his Administration's new official policy is that 'we embrace Palestinian goals,' Hamas sent more rockets into southern Israel on Sunday in a renewed breach of the cease-fire.

I suppose this means that Obama supports this move since we now 'embrace the goals Palestinians,' which is not only to establish a 'Palestinian state' on land the Jews have possessed for over 3000 years, but to obliterate the Jewish nation completely.

The big issue is what will be the Israeli response?

Central to the issue is that we are within 2 weeks of Israel's elections. Israeli politicians will almost certainly be forced to act against Hamas to show the electorate that all is being done to protect Israeli citizens.

Benjamin Netanyahu, the front-runner for Prime Minister, has stated that Hamas can expect a 'disproportionate response' if it continues to fire on Israeli citizens.

This in essence has only one dire meaning. If Hamas continues to fire on Israel the Jewish state's response will be swift, massive, and thoroughly devastating.

We can be assured that this time Israel will not make the same mistake it has in the past. Hamas will be totally crushed, and there will be many casualties. This is apparently the only way the nation can insure its own safety.

If Israel does, indeed, launch a massive and deadly avalanche upon Gaza, there will be heavy criticism and condemnation from Obama, the U.N., and many in the European Union.

They should be totally ignored.

No matter what the American President or anyone else says about the matter, Israel is a sovereign nation that is free to do what it must to protect itself from the barbarians who live under its nose in Gaza.

Israel will be foolish if they do not kill everyone in Gaza and take the territory for its own.

Yes! That is harsh. There are children and mothers in Gaza who are not combatants, but they have supported them. As for the children, it is unfortunate that the muslims in the region do not value them, and thus place them in this lethal danger.

But why would one expect the Jews to devalue their own children on a par with the muslim children of their enemies who fire rockets at them from the bedrooms of their own children?

When one attacks another, it is not the other who is to blame for the consequences, but rather the attacker.

If that is too harsh, then you are too soft. I know not what others would do, but I would kill every human in the world to protect my children. I suspect the Israelis are rapidly approaching that belief. Until the world believes that the Israelis have adopted that outlook and no longer care about a "political" solution, they will be constantly under attack.

A political solution is not possible in the region, because the muslims in the region will never cease their depredations until they either annilhilate Israel or are all dead.

Not pretty, but fights for survival never are. On rare occassion such fights can be avoided when the aggressor or would be aggressor understands that there will be no quarter given if they attack another. Usually, the moral superior in these conflicts demonstrates a willingness to "work things out". This willingness is almost invariably viewed by the aggressor or would be aggressor as cowardice or stupidity and therefore proceed with their attacks.

In this specific instant Israel, if she is to survive, has no choice but the total destruction of the Palestinian people. Not because they couldn't withstand years of this type of warfare, but as a warning to other muslim ambitionists in the region.

There are some who would say this would make the Israelis no different than the Nazis who engendered the Holocaust. That is a false comparison.

Jews were not attacking the Nazis or the German government. There is a difference between attacking innocents and defending one's self against those attackin you and their supporters.
