Czech President Takes On Goofy Algore

While most of the EU and American liberals such as Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, John McCain, and others seem to go goo-goo-gaaa-gaaa over Algore's science fiction on global warming, at least the Czech President is showing some chutzpah.

Czech President Vaclav Klaus, who is now President of the EU in its bi-annual rotation, blasted Gore for deliberately ignoring science that challenges his theory and suggested that the entire 'global warming' scare-tactic is designed to do nothing but serve as an excuse for more government control over people's lives and limit their choices.

This is precisely what Obama is set to do in the United States--force automakers to adhere to tough emissions and mpg standards, meaning that Americans will be forced into smaller, cramped vehicles that cost much more.

Instead of letting the market determine the types of vehicles that are manufactured, based upon consumer preferences, Obama would mandate what is manufactured and force consumers into vehicles that they may not buy if left to their own preferences.

All of this, of course, will be done in the name of 'saving the planet,' when the planet is quite capable of sustaining itself no matter what we do or don't do.

And, by the way, if the present trend continues, 2009 is on course to be the coldest in recorded history.

Where's my global warming Al? We have the worst ice storm in recorded history here in Kentucky.
I won't be trading in my F250 for some under powered piece of green junk that couldn't pull it's own weight out of the mud that is left after the massive ice melt.

It's about time that someone has the cajones to call BS on Algore.
How anyone can put up with this idiot spewing all of th s**t that he does is beyond me.
Now, I realize, that he is in the pay of TPTB, but is there NO major media outlet that is not bought and paid for?
Needless to say, I was surprised and pleased to see this article on Drudge this mornin'.

Need more coffee.....

Yeah, President Klaus is a breath of fresh air in an otherwise cesspool of the EU. When I first wrote about him some time ago, I noted that his views represent the views of the Founders of THIS country and that he should come here to run for office. LOL. And yes, I know the Constitution forbids it, but hell, look at what happened this year! We don't know for sure Obama was born here because he won't release his birth certificate.

Hey! You gotta give Al credit. He is the only con man ever to con the whole damn world all at the same time.

This is nothing but a very elaborate and very successful "pigeon drop".

Don't ask how I know.

What is it about the Czechs? Havel was sane too!

Well, in this case I think that the best explanation is that the Czechs took to heart the lessons they learned from living for decades under Communist tyranny.

They saw first-hand the utter failure, futility, and ultimate oppression that results from a political philosophy that has its roots in socialism/communism.
