UPDATE: Nan Gets Her Way on New Rules

Commissar Nan Pelosi, Speaker of the House, got her way on the new rules as House Democrats voted overwhelmingly to approve a measure that will muzzle Republicans.

Only a small handful of Democrats did the right thing and voted to retain fairness rules that permit the minority Party to block potential legislation.

The Democrats certainly benefited from the fairness rules while Republicans were in the majority. Never did the GOP attempt to thwart the right of the minority Party to block bills.

Yet when Democrats come to 'power' fairness goes out the door.

And now, the Democrats can steamroll any piece of legislation through Congress without having to contend with opposition.

Sieg Heil!

To borrow a line (and I don't know to whom to credit it), all signs point to us being "on a blind date with destiny, and it looks like she's ordered the lobster."

We have come upon dark days.

Yes, I'm afraid you're right, to say the very least...

have any respected commentators come out on how hypocritical this move is?

Additionally, could you provide a source article?

Yes, they have, and this opinion piece should serve as a source article and an op-ed on the hypocrisy:
