If you thought that Barack Obama is now the most popular search-engine topic on the Web, you would be wrong. The correct answer is Sarah Palin.
According to Mike McCarville, who cites a Politico report, it is Palin and not Obama who dominates search engine inquiries.
All of this only goes to show that Sarah Palin remains a highly popular figure in the nation, despite the loss of John McCain to Barack Obama and despite the notion of the liberal mainstream media that she was a 'drag on the ticket.'
According to a recent survey conducted by Rasmussen, Palin remains the top choice among GOP voters for the 2012 Presidential race. In that poll, Palin is preferred by over 80% of GOP voters.
This is great news. I would like to see Palin run in 2012. She is one of the few conservatives, Bobby Jindal being another, who could beat Obama.
Of course, by 2012 Obama may have so run the nation into the ground that voters would vote for Dick Cheney rather than allow another 4 years of Obama. But we'll see.
