Immigration Fraud and Terrorism

Knoxville, TN (TLS). As we have reported previously on The Liberty Sphere, Michael Cutler is one of the nation's leading experts on counterterrorism. Culter gave testimony before the U.S. House Committee on Homeland Security on March 15, 2007.

That testimony indicates that at present, the nation's broken system of handling immigration is the single largest terrorist threat to the United States.

Cutler's shocking and eye-opening words to Congress indicate that allowing 20 million illegal aliens to remain in the country unaccounted-for points to massive immigration fraud that threatens not only the fabric of the culture but the security of the citizens.

The Border Security issue is only part of the problem, however. The U.S. system of granting political asylum and naturalization to political dissidents from overseas has created a entire sub-culture of immigration fraud throughout the country. Cutler maintains that upwards of 40% of illegal aliens in the nation did not illegally enter the U.S. by running the border and avoiding customs inspections. Rather, this segment of illegals enters the U.S. through a recognized port of entry, receive legal admission for a specific purpose, but then go on to violate the terms of their admission to the U.S. by overstaying their authorized period of admission, securing illegal employment, and becoming involved in criminal activity.

This is the preferred method of entering the U.S. by most terrorists, according to Cutler.

Thus, while it is important to secure the nation's southern border, it is also of vital importance to change the method of allowing legal entry into the United States.

Cutler suggests a program of detention for those seeking political asylum from overseas.
