Wolf in Sheep's Clothes: American Hunters and Shooters Association

Washington, DC (TLS). One of the prevailing tactics of the extremist Left in this country of late is encapsulated by these words, 'If you can't beat 'em, join 'em, and take them out from the inside.' In short, it is the wolf-in-sheep's-clothing effect. Such persons can do more damage by pretending to be for us than they can by fighting us openly.

Thus, they take their war against us underground, engaging in covert action to subjugate liberty while pretending to be all for liberty.

Such is the case with the American Hunters and Shooters Association. One would think from the name that this organization would stand for Second Amendment rights, seeking to protect the Constitutional right to keep and bear arms. Nothing could be further from the truth.

In actuality, this organization seeks to divide gun rights groups in order to weaken them as a voting block. Their goal is more gun control, and their most vocal proponents are some of the most relentless enemies of the Second Amendment in America today.
