Washington, DC (TLS). Now that Senator Hillary Clinton, D-NY, has announced her bid for the Democrat Presidential nomination, The Liberty Sphere feels that it is appropriate to post some famous--or infamous--quotes from the Senator through the years.
Hillary is on The Liberty Sphere Blacklist, by the way, because of her vote against the free speech of bloggers and grassroots citizens organizations in urging fellow citizens to contact Congress concerning pending legislation. This in and of itself is ample reason to keep her out of the White House.
Over the weeks and months to follow, leading up to the Democrat primaries early next year, The Liberty Sphere will periodically post some of Hillary's most eye-opening, shocking, and ultimately revealing quotes.
We start today with three of the most memorable quotes from the woman who would be President.
1. 'I suppose I could have stayed home and baked cookies and been a good little 'stand by your man' woman like Tammy Wynette.' (stated by Mrs. Clinton during the 1992 Presidential campaign of Bill Clinton).
2. 'These outrageous charges against my husband are the work of a vast rightwing conspiracy.' (stated by Mrs. Clinton as the Monica Lewinsky story broke...standing by her man all the way).
I wonder what went through her mind as 'stand-by-your-man' Hillary watched Bill point his finger in the camera and say, 'I never had sex with that woman, not a single time,' only to watch as he admitted having sexual activity with Monica Lewinsky some time later, that is, if you believe that oral 'sex' constitutes 'sex.' I suppose it is simply a matter of what the definition of 'is' is.
3. 'There is no such thing as other people's children.' (from Hillary's book, 'It Takes a Village').
Mmmm, I think millions of parents would disagree with that assertion, unless you are one of the extremist collectivists who believe that a village, not parents, should raise children.
Is this enough to whet your appetite for now?
Stay tuned. There is much more to come as we head toward Campaign '08.
