Hillary Dredges Up Socialized Medicine AGAIN

Well, my friends, the nightmare continues. What on earth could be next? National confiscation of firearms?

Senator Hillary Clinton stated today that the issue of socialized medicine will raise its ugly head once again when the Democrats move into power in Congress in January.

It is to be remembered that Americans overwhelmingly raised their voices in protest when Hillary attempted to implement socialized medicine the last time the Democrats controlled Congress in 1993. The result was a resounding defeat at the polls during the 1994 midterm elections, which swept Republicans into power in a landslide that makes last week's Democrat win pale in comparison.

Stung by Hillary's dismal failure, the White House took her off political center stage and focused her more on the role of the First Lady.

So why would the Democrats bring this up yet again?

They think they have a mandate for extremist programs, pure and simple.

It is clear that this is not what those who voted indicated by electing Democrats, but the Democrat leadership sure is taking it that way so that they can unleash on the public an agenda that is leftist, extremist, and socialist to the core.

Hillary has been laying low for quite some time, attempting to redefine herself as a moderate. Playing the role of the centrist has traditionally been good strategy for one who would be President. However, her remarks today only proved that despite all the professional PR in the world, a leopard can't change his spots. She is a liberal who believes government to be the answer to society's ills.

Like John Kerry whose disdain for the military can be hidden for only so long until it bursts forth at opportune moments, Hillary's leftist extremism may be placed on the back burner for a season for political gain only to be unleashed at opportune moments.

And as a true opportunist, Hillary obviously feels the Democrat win last week is the perfect opportunity to slide one by on the public yet again. This time she may get further, unless those who value freedom of choice in the best healthcare system in the world rise up and tell her no.
