Netanyahu: 'I Will Topple Hamas If Elected'

In one of the few expressions of sanity in Middle Eastern politics, Israeli candidate for Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, made a promise to the Jewish nation on Tuesday that a government under his leadership will topple Hamas.

The Jerusalem Post reports that Netanyahu believes that Israel can no longer afford to continue the policy of 'blindness' which he claims has been conducted by the Israeli government for the past 7 years.

According to the Post:

A government under my leadership will overthrow the Hamas rule in Gaza and bring about a cessation of rocket fire," Netanyahu said during a tour of Ashkelon following the first Grad rocket attack since the conclusion of Operation Cast Lead some two weeks ago.

"The policy of blindness followed in the past years has brought us to this situation," Netanyahu continued. "Residents can no longer count on miracles and Kadima policy."

Netanyahu's words take on even greater significance in light of the fact that the Obama administration seems determined to cool relations with Israel as a result of overt moves to establish good relations with terrorist governments in the region.

Unfortunately for Israel, the United States, and the world, the Jewish state may well have to go it alone to defend itself against groups and nations who wish to destroy it.

Hamas Sends More Rockets Into Israel

Even as Barack Obama is telling Palestinian leaders that his Administration's new official policy is that 'we embrace Palestinian goals,' Hamas sent more rockets into southern Israel on Sunday in a renewed breach of the cease-fire.

I suppose this means that Obama supports this move since we now 'embrace the goals Palestinians,' which is not only to establish a 'Palestinian state' on land the Jews have possessed for over 3000 years, but to obliterate the Jewish nation completely.

The big issue is what will be the Israeli response?

Central to the issue is that we are within 2 weeks of Israel's elections. Israeli politicians will almost certainly be forced to act against Hamas to show the electorate that all is being done to protect Israeli citizens.

Benjamin Netanyahu, the front-runner for Prime Minister, has stated that Hamas can expect a 'disproportionate response' if it continues to fire on Israeli citizens.

This in essence has only one dire meaning. If Hamas continues to fire on Israel the Jewish state's response will be swift, massive, and thoroughly devastating.

We can be assured that this time Israel will not make the same mistake it has in the past. Hamas will be totally crushed, and there will be many casualties. This is apparently the only way the nation can insure its own safety.

If Israel does, indeed, launch a massive and deadly avalanche upon Gaza, there will be heavy criticism and condemnation from Obama, the U.N., and many in the European Union.

They should be totally ignored.

No matter what the American President or anyone else says about the matter, Israel is a sovereign nation that is free to do what it must to protect itself from the barbarians who live under its nose in Gaza.

'Kill the Jews' Message Greets Jewish Girls' School

The setting for the latest example of pathological hatred for Jews is not in Gaza, Iran, or Paris. This incident took place in Brooklyn, New York yesterday morning.

When the students at the Shaare Torah Girls Elementary School in Brooklyn arrived for school Wednesday morning they were greeted by a display of graffiti that vandals had left for them the night before.

All across the building were messages in large letters that stated, 'Kill the Jews,' and 'Nazis Live Here.' A large swastika had also been inscribed on the wall.

This is nothing less than a sheer abominable outrage. There is absolutely, positively no place for this sort of genocidal sentiment in the United States.

And if Israel's incursion into Gaza is the precipitating factor that caused the vermin to come crawling out from behind the walls, then this is all the more reason to believe Israel is right in its actions against Hamas terrorists.

Muslim Head-Choppers Target Madonna

Jihadists apparently don't know the difference between a genuine Jew and a pop music queen who frivolously studied Kabbalah for a season.

Madonna, of all people, has been targeted for beheading by Islamic extremists due to the Israeli-Gaza conflict.

Jihad Watch reports that the singer is taking the threat very seriously and fears for the safety of her children.

And who wouldn't? These people have proved time and again that absolutely no act of bloodthirsty barbarism is outside their realm of activity.

But Madonna??? Sheesh.

Jews Launch Peaceful Counter-March in NYC

This is absolutely, positively gratifying to see...thousands upon thousands of Jews and supporters of Israel gathering in NYC for a peaceful counter-demonstration as an answer to the violent hate-spewing pro-terrorist marches staged by the supporters of Hamas.

Never before in my lifetime have I witnessed such a baffling, worldwide demonstration of hatred toward Jews. This sort of thing happened prior to WW II, but for the most part we have never seen this sort of thing since the Jew-haters were blown to smithereens.

From Denmark, Sweden, and the U.K., to France, Germany, and Italy, the Muslim extremists have taken to the streets to scream 'death to the Jews.'

Even in the United States, some terrorist-supporters have carried placards that read, 'Jews back to the ovens!'

In the midst of these shocking and deeply troubling events we find a gathering of multi-thousands, in New York City, where no hatred was shouted, no violence toward police officers was observed, and no cars were firebombed.

This was a most gratifying sight to behold.

CNN Exposed! Gaza Story Doesn't Add Up

Anyone who has been watching the spectrum of mainstream media news of late knows that an anti-Israel, pro-Palestinian bias has permeated it's reports on the war in Gaza.

On Saturday evening, for example, NBC News' nightly piece from Gaza focused exclusively on the toll the war is taking on children. Fair enough.

But not a single instance was mentioned of Israeli children that have been harmed or killed by Hamas rockets sent into southern Israel for the last few years.

The entire story focused exclusively on Palestinian children, as if 'those evil Jews' should be condemned for initiating war against Gaza's poor, defenseless children.

CNN has certainly been on the front lines of the anti-Jew campaign.

NewsBusters posts an example of CNN's bias as shown in a video from Gaza that in all likelihood is fake, based upon the known circumstances.

When the story of the fake video hit the blogosphere, CNN received hundreds if not thousands of protests. It then took down the disputed video.

But the video was re-posted when CNN got its story together and insisted that the video is legitimate, although several investigative reporters aren't buying it.

At issue is the death and burial of a 12-year-old younger brother of a cameraman, which supposedly was taped in real-time, as it happened, and then posted on CNN's website.

Investigative reporters from the 'new media' were skeptical. Here is a sampling of their views:

Johnson at LGF isn't impressed:

If they really had “little hope” the patient could be saved, they’d be going all out with CPR, which means very vigorous chest compression (it’s not unusual to break ribs if it’s done right), and ventilation to oxygenate the blood—not delicately touching the boy’s abdomen with the tips of their fingers as we see in that video.

Morrissey isn't either:

It’s not only a fake, it’s an absurd fake. It’s not even done well, and Gilbert’s dramatic headshake at the end of the supposed CPR — in which Doctor #2’s hands keep coming off the body — is only the cheesy coup de grace. Why did CNN republish this?

..... Maybe Martin can explain how a missile hits a roof and kills two boys but does no more damage to the roof than what a pickaxe could do in five minutes — and how the furniture didn’t get disturbed.

Here's a bit from Owens's post:

CNN has also yet to explain what kind of Israeli drone could have fired the purported missile, and what kind of missile would cause the minimal damage shown on the rooftop where it is claimed these boys are killed.

For the full story, be sure to click on the link to NewsBusters as shown above.

It is important for citizens to be able to trust their news sources in a world such as ours. And, increasingly, we are being shown little by little every day that the mainstream media is clearly not a trustworthy source of news.

Glick: The Real Reason for the War in Gaza

As always, Middle East expert and internationally-renown journalist Caroline Glick hits the nail on the head:

ONE OF the troubling aspects shared by both the IDF campaign and the diplomatic offensive is that both ignore the principal cause of the war. As a consequence, Israel has ruled out the possibility of actually winning a true victory in its current fight with Hamas. Here, too, our leaders ignore the true cause of the war because they know that they will pay no price for doing so.

Israel is not fighting Hamas today because it agreed to a six-month cease-fire with the terrorist regime in Gaza last June. And it is not fighting today because Hamas decided that it wants control over Gaza's international borders.

Israel is fighting a war with Hamas today because Israel withdrew from Gaza three and a half years ago. If Israel had not withdrawn its military forces from Gaza and forcibly expelled 8,000 Israeli citizens from their homes and farms in September 2005, it would not be fighting this war today. If Israel had not withdrawn, if it had retained its forces in Gaza and retained its communities - on whose ruins the IDF now fights - in Gaza, Hamas would probably never have taken over. And even if Hamas had taken over, it would never have been able to threaten a million Israelis with missiles and rockets and mortars.

Wall St. Journal: Jews Face Double-Standard

There are a great many people in the world who, even after Auschwitz, just can't bear the Jewish state having the same rights they so readily grant to other nations. These voices insist Israel must take risks they would never dare ask of any other nation-state -- risks that threaten its very survival -- because they don't believe Israel should exist in the first place.

Just look at the spate of attacks this week on Jews and Jewish institutions around the world: a car ramming into a synagogue in France; a Chabad menorah and Jewish-owned shops sprayed with swastikas in Belgium; a banner at an Australian rally demanding "clean the earth from dirty Zionists!"; demonstrators in the Netherlands chanting "Gas the Jews"; and in Florida, protestors demanding Jews "Go back to the ovens!"

Read the whole thing here at the Wall Street Journal.

Why is the world unwilling to afford Israel the same right to self-defense as it affords all other nations?

Hamas Whines About 'Women and Children'

War is hell. By its very definition it is relentless, merciless, and brutal. This is why those whose actions start wars are among the lowest forms of life on the planet.

Hamas certainly falls within that category.

As usual, when Muslim terrorists start wars by unleashing acts of barbarism against innocent civilians, as they have always done in Israel, and as they occasionally do in other areas, they immediately begin to whine about their women and children who are killed when civilized nations defend themselves against their actions.

These are the very people who will not hesitate to use women and children as suicide bombers in acts of terror.

Therefore, they are due absolutely no sympathy but our harshest condemnation.

If Hamas, Hezbollah, and other Islamic terrorists are so concerned about their women and children who inadvertently get caught in the crossfires when nations such as Israel take reasonable action to protect their citizens, then these terrorist groups would immediately stop firing rockets into Israel that kill their innocent women and children.

If you break into my house, fire shots at me and my loved ones, and get killed when I open fire on you for doing so, then I'm sorry as I can be, but you deserve what you got, bud.

And that goes for Hamas.

You won't see me shedding a single tear over their precious women and children, who, by the way, are often used as human shields by the yellow-bellied low-lives who perpetrate violence but refuse to suffer the consequences.

Embracing Evil

Would you say that the following would define the word 'evil' in our world?

...Honor killings against young female offspring who 'dishonor' their parents by engaging in forbidden behavior?

...Carrying a sign at a pro-terrorist rally in THIS COUNTRY that says, 'Back to the ovens for the Jews!'?

...Women being viewed as inferior to men and possessing of no human liberties?

...Calling for the complete and total annihilation of an entire country (Israel) for absolutely no reason other than the land it occupies and has an historical right to occupy since the year 1312 B.C.?

...A religion which by its very nature disallows human liberty and demands adherence to its doctrines that de-humanize children, women, and 'infidels'?

...A religion that fancies head-chopping as an acceptable means of dealing with opposition?

Among my definitions of 'evil,' the preceding certainly qualifies!

Yet Europe is embracing this evil by allowing such individuals to gain a foothold, refusing to reign it in, just as they did with regard to Hitler in the 1930s.

Even here in the United States, there is an element--within American Liberalism, of course--that embraces this evil just as surely as our European brethren are doing.

Why are Liberals taking up the cause of Gaza terrorists? Why do the supposed 'enlightened' stand up for the right of an evil ideology to reign terror on all who refuse to support it? Why is it that a nation is to be condemned for defending itself against those who have vowed to annihilate it and have constantly bombarded that country with deadly attacks for at least 7 years or more?

This makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

And make no mistake about it, dear reader, the modern world will pay a heavy price for it just as surely as Europe did during the 1930s and 40s.
